1. கர்த்தரைத் துதித்து, அவருடைய நாமத்தைப் பிரஸ்தாபமாக்குங்கள், அவருடைய செய்கைகளை ஜனங்களுக்குள்ளே பிரசித்தப்படுத்துங்கள்.

1. O give thanks unto the LORD, and call upon his name: tell the people what things he hath done.

2. அவரைப் பாடி, அவரைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுங்கள்; அவருடைய அதிசயங்களையெல்லாம் தியானித்துப் பேசுங்கள்.

2. O let your songs be of him: praise him, and let your talking be of all his wonderous works.

3. அவருடைய பரிசுத்த நாமத்தைக் குறித்து மேன்மைபாராட்டுங்கள்; கர்த்தரைத் தேடுகிறவர்களின் இருதயம் மகிழ்வதாக.

3. Give his holy name a good report, let their hearts rejoice that seek the LORD.

4. கர்த்தரையும் அவர் வல்லமையையும் நாடுங்கள்; அவர் சமுகத்தை நித்தமும் தேடுங்கள்.

4. Seek the LORD, and his strength, seek his face evermore.

5. அவருடைய தாசனாகிய ஆபிரகாமின் சந்ததியே! அவரால் தெரிந்து கொள்ளப்பட்டவர்களாகிய யாக்கோபின் புத்திரரே!

5. Remember the marvelous works that he hath done, his wonders and the judgments of his mouth.

6. அவர் செய்த அதிசயங்களையும், அவருடைய அற்புதங்களையும், அவர் வாக்கின் நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளையும் நினைவுகூருங்கள்.

6. O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.

7. அவரே நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர், அவருடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் பூமியெங்கும் விளங்கும்.

7. He is the LORD our God, whose punishments are thorowout all the world.

8. ஆயிரந்தலைமுறைக்கென்று அவர் கட்டளையிட்ட வாக்கையும், ஆபிரகாமோடே அவர் பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கையையும்,

8. He is alway mindful of his covenant, and promise that he made to a thousand generations.

9. அவர் ஈசாக்குக்கு இட்ட ஆணையையும் என்றென்றைக்கும் நினைத்திருக்கிறார்.

9. Yea the covenant that he made with Abraham, and the oath that he sware unto Isaac.

10. அதை யாக்கோபுக்குப் பிரமாணமாகவும், இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு நித்தியஉடன்படிக்கையாகவும் உறுதிப்படுத்தி:

10. And appointed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting testament.

11. உங்கள் சுதந்தரபாகமான கானான் தேசத்தை உனக்குத் தருவேன் என்றார்.

11. Saying: Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your heritage.

12. அக்காலத்தில் அவர்கள் கொஞ்சத் தொகைக்குட்பட்ட சொற்ப ஜனங்களும் பரதேசிகளுமாயிருந்தார்கள்.

12. When there was yet but a few of them, and the(they) strangers therein.

13. அவர்கள் ஒரு ஜனத்தைவிட்டு மறு ஜனத்தண்டைக்கும், ஒரு ராஜ்யத்தைவிட்டு மறு தேசத்தாரண்டைக்கும் போனார்கள்.

13. What time as they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another.

14. அவர்களை ஒடுக்கும்படி ஒருவருக்கும் இடங்கொடாமல், அவர்கள் நிமித்தம் ராஜாக்களைக் கடிந்து கொண்டு:

14. He suffered no man to hurt them, but reproved even kings for their sakes.

15. நான் அபிஷேகம்பண்ணினவர்களை நீங்கள் தொடாமலும், என்னுடைய தீர்க்கதரிசிகளுக்குத் தீங்கு செய்யாமலும் இருங்கள் என்றார்.

15. Touch not mine anointed, do my prophets no harm.

16. அவர் தேசத்திலே பஞ்சத்தை வருவித்து, ஆகாரமென்னும் ஆதரவுகோலை முற்றிலும் முறித்தார்.

16. Moreover he called for a darth upon the land, and destroyed all the provision of bread.

17. அவர்களுக்கு முன்னாலே ஒரு புருஷனை அனுப்பினார்; யோசேப்பு சிறையாக விற்கப்பட்டான்.

17. But he had sent a man before them, even Joseph which was sold to be a bond servant.

18. அவன் கால்களை விலங்குபோட்டு ஒடுக்கினார்கள்; அவன் பிராணன் இரும்பில் அடைபட்டிருந்தது.

18. They hurt his feet in the stocks, the iron pierced his heart.

19. கர்த்தர் சொன்ன வார்த்தை நிறைவேறுமளவும் அவருடைய வசனம் அவனைப் புடமிட்டது.

19. Until the time that his word came, and until the word of the LORD had tried him.

20. ராஜா ஆள் அனுப்பி, அவனைக் கட்டவிழ்க்கச் சொன்னான்; ஜனங்களின் அதிபதி அவனை விடுதலைபண்ணினான்.

20. Then sent the king and caused him to be delivered, the prince of the people had let him go.

21. தன் பிரபுக்களை அவன் மனதின்படி கட்டவும், தன் மூப்பர்களை ஞானிகளாக்கவும்,

21. He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance.

22. அவனைத் தன் வீட்டுக்கு ஆண்டவனும், தன் ஆஸ்திக்கெல்லாம் அதிபதியுமாக்கினான்.

22. That he might enforme his princes after his will, and teach his Senators wisdom.

23. அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேல் எகிப்திற்கு வந்தான்; யாக்கோபு காமின் தேசத்திலே பரதேசியாயிருந்தான்.

23. Israel also came into Egypt, and Jacob was a stranger in the land of Ham.

24. அவர் தம்முடைய ஜனங்களை மிகவும் பலுகப்பண்ணி, அவர்களுடைய சத்துருக்களைப்பார்க்கிலும் அவர்களைப் பலவான்களாக்கினார்.

24. But he increased his people exceedingly, and made them stronger than their enemies.

25. தம்முடைய ஜனங்களைப் பகைக்கவும், தம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரரை வஞ்சனையாய் நடத்தவும், அவர்களுடைய இருதயத்தை மாற்றினார்.

25. Whose heart turned, so that they hated his people, and dealt untruly with his servants.

26. தம்முடைய தாசனாகிய மோசேயையும் தாம் தெரிந்துகொண்ட ஆரோனையும் அனுப்பினார்.

26. Then sent he Moses his servant, and Aaron whom he had chosen.

27. இவர்கள் அவர்களுக்குள் அவருடைய அடையாளங்களையும், காமின் தேசத்திலே அற்புதங்களையும் செய்தார்கள்.

27. These did his tokens among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.

28. அவர் இருளை அனுப்பி, அந்தகாரத்தை உண்டாக்கினார்; அவருடைய வார்த்தைகளை எதிர்ப்பாரில்லை.

28. He sent darkness and it was dark, for they were not obedient unto his word.

29. அவர்களுடைய தண்ணீர்களை இரத்தமாக மாற்றி, அவர்களுடைய மச்சங்களைச் சாகப்பண்ணினார்.

29. He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.

30. அவர்களுடைய தேசம் தவளைகளைத் திரளாய்ப் பிறப்பித்தது; அவர்களுடைய ராஜாக்களின் அறைவீடுகளிலும் அவைகள் வந்தது.

30. Their land brought forth frogs, yea even in their king's chambers.

31. அவர் கட்டளையிட, அவர்களுடைய எல்லைகளிலெங்கும் வண்டுகளும் பேன்களும் வந்தது.

31. He spake the word, and there came all manner of flies and lice in all their quarters.

32. அவர்களுடைய மழைகளைக் கல்மழையாக்கி, அவர்களுடைய தேசத்திலே ஜூவாலிக்கிற அக்கினியை வரப்பண்ணினார்.

32. He gave them hail stones for rain, and flames of fire in their land.

33. அவர்களுடைய திராட்சச் செடிகளையும் அத்திமரங்களையும் அழித்து, அவர்களுடைய எல்லைகளிலுள்ள மரங்களையும் முறித்தார்.

33. He smote their vineyards and fig trees, and destroyed the trees that were in their coasts.

34. அவர் கட்டளையிட, எண்ணிமுடியாத வெட்டுக்கிளிகளும் பச்சைப்புழுக்களும் வந்து,

34. He spake the word, and there were(came) grasshoppers and caterpillars innumerable.

35. அவர்களுடைய தேசத்திலுள்ள சகல பூண்டுகளையும் அரித்து, அவர்களுடைய நிலத்தின் கனியைத் தின்றுபோட்டது.

35. These ate up all the grass in their land, and devoured the fruits of their ground.

36. அவர்களுடைய தேசத்திலே தலைச்சன்கள் அனைத்தையும், அவர்களுடைய பெலனில் முதற்பெலனான யாவரையும் சங்கரித்தார்.

36. He smote all the firstborn in their land, even the chief of all their substance.

37. அப்பொழுது அவர்களை வெள்ளியோடும் பொன்னோடும் புறப்படப்பண்ணினார்; அவர்கள் கோத்திரங்களில் பலவீனப்பட்டவன் ஒருவனும் இருந்ததில்லை.

37. He brought them forth with silver and gold, there was not one feeble person among their tribes.

38. எகிப்தியர் அவர்களுக்குப் பயந்ததினால், அவர்கள் புறப்பட்டபோது மகிழ்ந்தார்கள்.
வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 10:10-11

38. Egypt was glad of their departing: for they were afraid of them.

39. அவர் மேகத்தை மறைவுக்காக விரித்து, இரவை வெளிச்சமாக்குகிறதற்காக அக்கினியையும் தந்தார்.

39. He spread out a cloud to be a covering, and fire to give light in the night season.

40. கேட்டார்கள், அவர் காடைகளை வரப்பண்ணினார்; வான அப்பத்தினாலும் அவர்களைத் திருப்தியாக்கினார்.

40. At their desire, there came quails, and he filled them with the bread of heaven.

41. கன்மலையைத் திறந்தார், தண்ணீர்கள் புறப்பட்டு, வறண்ட வெளிகளில் ஆறாய் ஓடிற்று.

41. He opened the rock of stone, and the waters flowed out: so that rivers ran in the wilderness:

42. அவர் தம்முடைய பரிசுத்த வாக்குத்தத்தத்தையும், தம்முடைய தாசனாகிய ஆபிரகாமையும் நினைத்து,

42. For why? He remembered his holy promise which he had made to Abraham his servant.

43. தம்முடைய ஜனத்தைக் களிப்போடும், தாம் தெரிந்துகொண்டவர்களைக் கெம்பீர சத்தத்தோடும் புறப்படப்பண்ணி,

43. Thus he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness.

44. தமது கட்டளைகளைக் காத்து நடக்கும்படிக்கும், தமது நியாயப்பிரமாணங்களைக் கைக்கொள்ளும்படிக்கும்,

44. And gave them the lands of the Heathen, where they took the labours of the people in possession.

45. அவர்களுக்குப் புறஜாதிகளுடைய தேசங்களைக் கொடுத்தார்; அந்நிய ஜனங்களுடைய பிரயாசத்தின் பலனைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொண்டார்கள். அல்லேலூயா.

45. That they might keep his statutes, and observe his laws. Praise the everlasting. (Halleluya)
