1. கர்த்தரைத் துதித்து, அவருடைய நாமத்தைப் பிரஸ்தாபமாக்குங்கள், அவருடைய செய்கைகளை ஜனங்களுக்குள்ளே பிரசித்தப்படுத்துங்கள்.

1. Give thanks to the LORD! Call on his name! Make his doings known among the peoples.

2. அவரைப் பாடி, அவரைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுங்கள்; அவருடைய அதிசயங்களையெல்லாம் தியானித்துப் பேசுங்கள்.

2. Sing to him, sing praises to him! Tell of all his marvelous works.

3. அவருடைய பரிசுத்த நாமத்தைக் குறித்து மேன்மைபாராட்டுங்கள்; கர்த்தரைத் தேடுகிறவர்களின் இருதயம் மகிழ்வதாக.

3. Glory in his holy name. Let the heart of those who seek the LORD rejoice.

4. கர்த்தரையும் அவர் வல்லமையையும் நாடுங்கள்; அவர் சமுகத்தை நித்தமும் தேடுங்கள்.

4. Seek the LORD and his strength. Seek his face forever more.

5. அவருடைய தாசனாகிய ஆபிரகாமின் சந்ததியே! அவரால் தெரிந்து கொள்ளப்பட்டவர்களாகிய யாக்கோபின் புத்திரரே!

5. Remember his marvelous works that he has done; His wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,

6. அவர் செய்த அதிசயங்களையும், அவருடைய அற்புதங்களையும், அவர் வாக்கின் நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளையும் நினைவுகூருங்கள்.

6. You seed of Avraham, his servant, You children of Ya`akov, his chosen ones.

7. அவரே நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர், அவருடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் பூமியெங்கும் விளங்கும்.

7. He is the LORD, our God. His judgments are in all the eretz.

8. ஆயிரந்தலைமுறைக்கென்று அவர் கட்டளையிட்ட வாக்கையும், ஆபிரகாமோடே அவர் பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கையையும்,

8. He has remembered his covenant forever, The word which he commanded to a thousand generations,

9. The covenant which he made with Avraham, His oath to Yitzchak,

10. அதை யாக்கோபுக்குப் பிரமாணமாகவும், இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு நித்தியஉடன்படிக்கையாகவும் உறுதிப்படுத்தி:

10. And confirmed the same to Ya`akov for a statute; To Yisra'el for an everlasting covenant,

11. உங்கள் சுதந்தரபாகமான கானான் தேசத்தை உனக்குத் தருவேன் என்றார்.

11. Saying, 'To you I will give the land of Kana`an, The lot of your inheritance;'

12. அக்காலத்தில் அவர்கள் கொஞ்சத் தொகைக்குட்பட்ட சொற்ப ஜனங்களும் பரதேசிகளுமாயிருந்தார்கள்.

12. When they were but a few men in number, Yes, very few, and foreigners in it.

13. அவர்கள் ஒரு ஜனத்தைவிட்டு மறு ஜனத்தண்டைக்கும், ஒரு ராஜ்யத்தைவிட்டு மறு தேசத்தாரண்டைக்கும் போனார்கள்.

13. They went about from nation to nation, From one kingdom to another people.

14. அவர்களை ஒடுக்கும்படி ஒருவருக்கும் இடங்கொடாமல், அவர்கள் நிமித்தம் ராஜாக்களைக் கடிந்து கொண்டு:

14. He allowed no one to do them wrong. Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes,

15. நான் அபிஷேகம்பண்ணினவர்களை நீங்கள் தொடாமலும், என்னுடைய தீர்க்கதரிசிகளுக்குத் தீங்கு செய்யாமலும் இருங்கள் என்றார்.

15. Don't touch my anointed ones! Do my prophets no harm!'

16. He called for a famine on the land. He destroyed the food supplies.

17. அவர்களுக்கு முன்னாலே ஒரு புருஷனை அனுப்பினார்; யோசேப்பு சிறையாக விற்கப்பட்டான்.

17. He sent a man before them. Yosef was sold for a slave.

18. அவன் கால்களை விலங்குபோட்டு ஒடுக்கினார்கள்; அவன் பிராணன் இரும்பில் அடைபட்டிருந்தது.

18. They bruised his feet with shackles. His neck was locked in irons,

19. கர்த்தர் சொன்ன வார்த்தை நிறைவேறுமளவும் அவருடைய வசனம் அவனைப் புடமிட்டது.

19. Until the time that his word happened, And the LORD's word proved him true.

20. ராஜா ஆள் அனுப்பி, அவனைக் கட்டவிழ்க்கச் சொன்னான்; ஜனங்களின் அதிபதி அவனை விடுதலைபண்ணினான்.

20. The king sent and freed him; Even the ruler of peoples, and let him go free.

21. He made him lord of his house, And ruler of all of his possessions;

22. To discipline his princes at his pleasure, And to teach his Zakenim wisdom.

23. Yisra'el also came into Mitzrayim. Ya`akov sojourned in the land of Ham.

24. அவர் தம்முடைய ஜனங்களை மிகவும் பலுகப்பண்ணி, அவர்களுடைய சத்துருக்களைப்பார்க்கிலும் அவர்களைப் பலவான்களாக்கினார்.

24. He increased his people greatly, And made them stronger than their adversaries.

25. தம்முடைய ஜனங்களைப் பகைக்கவும், தம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரரை வஞ்சனையாய் நடத்தவும், அவர்களுடைய இருதயத்தை மாற்றினார்.

25. He turned their heart to hate his people, To conspire against his servants.

26. தம்முடைய தாசனாகிய மோசேயையும் தாம் தெரிந்துகொண்ட ஆரோனையும் அனுப்பினார்.

26. He sent Moshe, his servant, And Aharon, whom he had chosen.

27. இவர்கள் அவர்களுக்குள் அவருடைய அடையாளங்களையும், காமின் தேசத்திலே அற்புதங்களையும் செய்தார்கள்.

27. They performed miracles among them, And wonders in the land of Ham.

28. அவர் இருளை அனுப்பி, அந்தகாரத்தை உண்டாக்கினார்; அவருடைய வார்த்தைகளை எதிர்ப்பாரில்லை.

28. He sent darkness, and made it dark. They didn't rebel against his words.

29. அவர்களுடைய தண்ணீர்களை இரத்தமாக மாற்றி, அவர்களுடைய மச்சங்களைச் சாகப்பண்ணினார்.

29. He turned their waters into blood, And killed their fish.

30. அவர்களுடைய தேசம் தவளைகளைத் திரளாய்ப் பிறப்பித்தது; அவர்களுடைய ராஜாக்களின் அறைவீடுகளிலும் அவைகள் வந்தது.

30. Their land swarmed with frogs, Even in the chambers of their kings.

31. அவர் கட்டளையிட, அவர்களுடைய எல்லைகளிலெங்கும் வண்டுகளும் பேன்களும் வந்தது.

31. He spoke, and swarms of flies came, And lice in all their borders.

32. அவர்களுடைய மழைகளைக் கல்மழையாக்கி, அவர்களுடைய தேசத்திலே ஜூவாலிக்கிற அக்கினியை வரப்பண்ணினார்.

32. He gave them hail for rain, With lightning in their land.

33. அவர்களுடைய திராட்சச் செடிகளையும் அத்திமரங்களையும் அழித்து, அவர்களுடைய எல்லைகளிலுள்ள மரங்களையும் முறித்தார்.

33. He struck their vines and also their fig trees, And shattered the trees of their country.

34. அவர் கட்டளையிட, எண்ணிமுடியாத வெட்டுக்கிளிகளும் பச்சைப்புழுக்களும் வந்து,

34. He spoke, and the locusts came, And the grasshoppers, without number,

35. அவர்களுடைய தேசத்திலுள்ள சகல பூண்டுகளையும் அரித்து, அவர்களுடைய நிலத்தின் கனியைத் தின்றுபோட்டது.

35. Ate up every plant in their land; And ate up the fruit of their ground.

36. அவர்களுடைய தேசத்திலே தலைச்சன்கள் அனைத்தையும், அவர்களுடைய பெலனில் முதற்பெலனான யாவரையும் சங்கரித்தார்.

36. He struck also all the firstborn in their land, The first fruits of all their manhood.

37. அப்பொழுது அவர்களை வெள்ளியோடும் பொன்னோடும் புறப்படப்பண்ணினார்; அவர்கள் கோத்திரங்களில் பலவீனப்பட்டவன் ஒருவனும் இருந்ததில்லை.

37. He brought them forth with silver and gold. There was not one feeble person among his tribes.

38. எகிப்தியர் அவர்களுக்குப் பயந்ததினால், அவர்கள் புறப்பட்டபோது மகிழ்ந்தார்கள்.

38. Mitzrayim was glad when they departed, For the fear of them had fallen on them.

40. They asked, and he brought quails, And satisfied them with the bread of the sky.

41. He opened the rock, and waters gushed out. They ran as a river in the dry places.

42. அவர் தம்முடைய பரிசுத்த வாக்குத்தத்தத்தையும், தம்முடைய தாசனாகிய ஆபிரகாமையும் நினைத்து,

42. For he remembered his holy word, And Avraham, his servant.

43. தம்முடைய ஜனத்தைக் களிப்போடும், தாம் தெரிந்துகொண்டவர்களைக் கெம்பீர சத்தத்தோடும் புறப்படப்பண்ணி,

43. He brought forth his people with joy, His chosen with singing.

44. தமது கட்டளைகளைக் காத்து நடக்கும்படிக்கும், தமது நியாயப்பிரமாணங்களைக் கைக்கொள்ளும்படிக்கும்,

44. He gave them the lands of the nations. They took the labor of the peoples in possession,

45. அவர்களுக்குப் புறஜாதிகளுடைய தேசங்களைக் கொடுத்தார்; அந்நிய ஜனங்களுடைய பிரயாசத்தின் பலனைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொண்டார்கள். அல்லேலூயா.

45. That they might keep his statutes, And observe his laws. Praise the LORD!
