1. Now these [are] the children of the province that went up from the captivity, of those who had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away to Babylon, and came again to Jerusalem and Judah, every one to his city;

53. The children of Barkos, the children of Sisera, the children of Thamah,

54. நெத்சியாவின் புத்திரர், அதிபாவின் புத்திரருமே.

55. சாலொமோனுடைய வேலையாட்களின் புத்திரரானவர்கள்: சோதாயின் புத்திரர், சொபெரேத்தின் புத்திரர், பெருதாவின் புத்திரர்,

55. The children of Solomon's servants: the children of Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Peruda,

56. The children of Jaalah, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,

57. செபத்தியாவின் புத்திரர், அத்தீலின் புத்திரர், செபாயீமிலுள்ள பொகெரேத்தின் புத்திரர், ஆமியின் புத்திரருமே.

57. The children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth of Zebaim, the children of Ami.

58. நிதனீமியரும் சாலொமோனுடைய வேலையாட்களின் புத்திரரும் எல்லாரும் முந்நூற்றுத் தொண்ணூற்றிரண்டுபேர்.

58. All the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon's servants, [were] three hundred and ninety and two.

59. தெல்மெலாகிலும், தெல்அர்சாவிலும், கேருபிலும், ஆதோனிலும், இம்மேரிலுமிருந்து வந்து, தாங்கள் இஸ்ரவேலர் என்று தங்கள் பிதாக்களின் வம்சத்தையும், தங்கள் பூர்வோத்தரத்தையும் சொல்லமாட்டாமல் இருந்தவர்கள்:

59. And these [were] they who went up from Telmelah, Telharsa, Cherub, Addan, [and] Immer: but they could not show their father's house, and their seed, whether they [were] of Israel:

60. The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred and fifty and two.

61. ஆசாரியரின் புத்திரரில் அபாயாவின் புத்திரர், கோசின் புத்திரர், கீலேயாத்தியனான பர்சிலாயின் குமாரத்திகளில் ஒருத்தியை விவாகம்பண்ணி, அவர்கள் வம்சநாமம் தரிக்கப்பட்ட பர்சிலாயின் புத்திரரே.

61. And of the children of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai; who took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name:

62. These sought their family record [among] those that were reckoned by genealogy, but they were not found: therefore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood.

63. ஊரீம் தும்மீம் என்பவைகளுள்ள ஒரு ஆசாரியன் எழும்புமட்டும், இவர்கள் மகா பரிசுத்தமானதிலே புசிக்கத் தகாதென்று திர்ஷாதா அவர்களுக்குச் சொன்னான்.

63. And the Tirshatha said to them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and with Thummim.

64. The whole congregation together [was] forty and two thousand three hundred [and] sixty,

65. Besides their male and female servants, of whom [there were] seven thousand three hundred and thirty and seven: and [there were] among them two hundred men and women singers.

66. அவர்களுடைய குதிரைகள் எழுநூற்று முப்பத்தாறு, அவர்களுடைய கோவேறு கழுதைகள் இருநூற்று நாற்பத்தைந்து,

66. Their horses [were] seven hundred and thirty and six; their mules, two hundred and forty and five;

67. அவர்களுடைய ஒட்டகங்கள் நானூற்று முப்பத்தைந்து, கழுதைகள் ஆறாயிரத்து எழுநூற்று இருபது.

67. Their camels, four hundred and thirty and five; [their] donkeys, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.

68. வம்சங்களின் தலைவரில் சிலர் எருசலேமிலுள்ள கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்துக்கு வந்தபோது, தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தை அதின் ஸ்தானத்திலே எடுப்பிக்கும்படிக்கு, அதற்கான மன உற்சாகமாய்க் காணிக்கைகளைக் கொடுத்தார்கள்.

68. And [some] of the heads of the fathers' [houses], when they came to the house of the LORD which [is] at Jerusalem, offered freely for the house of God to set it up in its place:

69. They gave after their ability into the treasury of the work sixty and one thousand drams of gold, and five thousand pounds of silver, and one hundred priests ' garments.

70. So the priests, and the Levites, and [some] of the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims, dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
