1. யோர்தானுக்கு அப்புறத்தில் சூரியன் உதயமாகிற திசையிலே அர்னோன் ஆறு துவக்கி எர்மோன் மலைமட்டும், கிழக்கே சமபூமி எல்லையிலெல்லாமுள்ள ராஜாக்களை இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் முறிய அடித்து, அவர்களுடைய தேசங்களையும் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொண்டார்கள்.

1. And these [are] kings of the land whom the sons of Israel have smitten, and possess their land, beyond the Jordan, at the sun-rising, from the brook Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the plain eastward.

2. அந்த ராஜாக்களில், எஸ்போனில் குடியிருந்த எமோரியரின் ராஜாவாகிய சீகோன், அர்னோன் ஆற்றங்கரையிலிருக்கிற ஆரோவேர் தொடங்கி ஆற்றின் நடுமையமும் பாதிக் கீலேயாத்துமுட்பட அம்மோன் புத்திரரின் எல்லையான யாபோக்கு ஆறுமட்டுமுள்ள தேசத்தையும்,

2. Sihon, king of the Amorite, who is dwelling in Heshbon, ruling from Aroer which [is] on the border of the brook Arnon, and the middle of the brook, and half of Gilead, and unto Jabok the brook, the border of the Bene-Ammon;

3. சமனான வெளிதுவக்கிக் கிழக்கேயிருக்கிற கின்னரோத் கடல்மட்டும் பெத்யெசிமோத் வழியாய்க் கிழக்கேயிருக்கிற சமனான வெளியின் கடலாகிய உப்புக்கடல் மட்டும் இருக்கிற தேசத்தையும் தெற்கே அஸ்தோத்பிஸ்காவுக்குத் தாழ்வாயிருக்கிற தேசத்தையும் ஆண்டான்.

3. And the plain unto the sea of Chinneroth eastward, and unto the sea of the plain (the salt sea) eastward, the way to Beth-Jeshimoth, and from the south under the springs of Pisgah.

4. இராட்சதரில் மீதியான பாசானின் ராஜாவாகிய ஓகின் எல்லையையும் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொண்டார்கள்; அவன் அஸ்தரோத்திலும் எத்ரேயிலும் வாசம்பண்ணி,

4. And the border of Og king of Bashan (of the remnant of the Rephaim), who is dwelling in Ashtaroth and in Edrei,

5. எர்மோன் மலையையும் சல்காவையும், கெசூரியர், மாகாத்தியர் எல்லைமட்டும் எஸ்போனின் ராஜாவாகிய சீகோனின் எல்லையாயிருந்த பாதிக் கீலேயாத்மட்டும் இருக்கும் பாசான் அனைத்தையும் ஆண்டான்.

5. and ruling in mount Hermon, and in Salcah, and in all Bashan, unto the border of the Geshurite, and the Maachathite, and the half of Gilead, the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.

6. அவர்களைக் கர்த்தரின் தாசனாகிய மோசேயும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரும் முறிய அடித்தார்கள்; அத்தேசத்தைக் கர்த்தரின் தாசனாகிய மோசே ரூபனியருக்கும் காத்தியருக்கும் மனாசேயின் பாதிக்கோத்திரத்துக்கும் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடுத்தான்.

6. Moses, servant of Jehovah, and the sons of Israel have smitten them, and Moses, servant of Jehovah, giveth it -- a possession to the Reubenite, and to the Gadite, and to the half of the tribe of Manasseh.

7. யோர்தானுக்கு இப்புறத்திலே மேற்கே லீபனோனின் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலுள்ள பாகால்காத் முதற்கொண்டு சேயீருக்கு ஏறிப்போகிற ஆலாக்மலைமட்டும், மலைகளிலும் பள்ளத்தாக்குகளிலும் சமபூமியிலும் மலைகளுக்கடுத்த புறங்களிலும் வனாந்தரத்திலும் தெற்குத் தேசத்திலும் இருக்கிறதும்,

7. And these [are] kings of the land whom Joshua and the sons of Israel have smitten beyond the Jordan westward, from Baal-Gad, in the valley of Lebanon, and unto the mount of Halak, which is going up to Seir; and Joshua giveth it to the tribes of Israel -- a possession according to their divisions;

8. யோசுவா இஸ்ரவேல் கோத்திரங்களுக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகப் பங்கிட்டதுமான ஏத்தியர், எமோரியர், கானானியர், பெரிசியர், ஏவியர், எபூசியர் என்பவர்களுடைய தேசத்தில் இருந்தவர்களும், யோசுவாவும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரும் முறிய அடித்தவர்களுமான ராஜாக்கள் யாரெனில்:

8. in the hill-country, and in the low country, and in the plain, and in the springs, and in the wilderness, and in the south; the Hittite, the Amorite, and the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite:

9. எரிகோவின் ராஜா ஒன்று, பெத்தேலுக்கு அருகான ஆயியின் ராஜா ஒன்று,

9. The king of Jericho, one; The king of Ai, which [is] beside Bethel, one;

10. எருசலேமின் ராஜா ஒன்று, எபிரோனின் ராஜா ஒன்று,

10. The king of Jerusalem, one; The king of Hebron, one;

11. யர்மூத்தின் ராஜா ஒன்று, லாகீசின் ராஜா ஒன்று,

11. The king of Jarmuth, one; The king of Lachish, one;

12. எக்லோனின் ராஜா ஒன்று, கேசேரின் ராஜா ஒன்று,

12. The king of Eglon, one; The king of Gezer, one;

13. தெபீரின் ராஜா ஒன்று, கெதேரின் ராஜா ஒன்று,

13. The king of Debir, one; The king of Geder, one;

14. ஒர்மாவின் ராஜா ஒன்று, ஆராதின் ராஜா ஒன்று,

14. The king of Hormah, one; The king of Arad, one;

15. லிப்னாவின் ராஜா ஒன்று, அதுல்லாமின் ராஜா ஒன்று,

15. The king of Libnah, one; The king of Adullam, one;

16. மக்கேதாவின் ராஜா ஒன்று, பெத்தேலின் ராஜா ஒன்று,

16. The king of Mekkedah, one; The king of Beth-El, one;

17. தப்புவாவின் ராஜா ஒன்று, எப்பேரின் ராஜா ஒன்று,

17. The king of Tappuah, one; The king of Hepher, one;

18. ஆப்பெக்கின் ராஜா ஒன்று, லசரோனின் ராஜா ஒன்று,

18. The king of Aphek, one; The king of Lasharon, one;

19. மாதோனின் ராஜா ஒன்று, ஆத்சோரின் ராஜா ஒன்று,

19. The king of Madon, one; The king of Hazor, one;

20. சிம்ரோன் மேரோனின் ராஜா ஒன்று, அக்சாபின் ராஜா ஒன்று,

20. The king of Shimron-Meron, one; The king of Achshaph, one;

21. தானாகின் ராஜா ஒன்று, மெகிதோவின் ராஜா ஒன்று,

21. The king of Taanach, one; The king of Megiddo, one;

22. கேதேசின் ராஜா ஒன்று, கர்மேலுக்கடுத்த யொக்னியாமின் ராஜா ஒன்று,

22. The king of Kedesh, one; The king of Jokneam of Carmel, one;

23. தோரின் கரையைச் சேர்ந்த தோரின் ராஜா ஒன்று, கில்காலுக்கடுத்த ஜாதிகளின் ராஜா ஒன்று,

23. The king of Dor, at the elevation of Dor, one; The king of the Goyim of Gilgal, one;

24. திர்சாவின் ராஜா ஒன்று; ஆக இவர்களெல்லாரும் முப்பத்தொரு ராஜாக்கள்.

24. The king of Tirzah, one; all the kings [are] thirty and one.
