1. அப்பொழுது மோசேயும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரும் கர்த்தரைப் புகழ்ந்துபாடின பாட்டு: கர்த்தரைப் பாடுவேன்; அவர் மகிமையாய் வெற்றி சிறந்தார்; குதிரையையும் குதிரைவீரனையும் கடலிலே தள்ளினார்.
வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 15:3

1. Then, sang Moses, and the sons of Israel, this song unto Yahweh, and they spake, saying, I will sing to Yahweh, for he is exalted, exalted, The horse and his rider, hath he cast into the sea.

2. கர்த்தர் என் பெலனும் என் கீதமுமானவர்; அவர் எனக்கு இரட்சிப்புமானவர்; அவரே என் தேவன், அவருக்கு வாசஸ்தலத்தை ஆயத்தம்பண்ணுவேன்; அவரே என் தகப்பனுடைய தேவன், அவரை உயர்த்துவேன்;

2. My might and melody, is Yah, And he became mine, by salvation, This, is my GOD, and I will glorify him, The God of my father and I will set him on high.

3. கர்த்தரே யுத்தத்தில் வல்லவர்; கர்த்தர் என்பது அவருடைய நாமம்.

3. Yahweh is a warlike one, Yahweh, is his name.

4. பார்வோனின் இரதங்களையும் அவன் சேனைகளையும் சமுத்திரத்திலே தள்ளிவிட்டார்; அவனுடைய பிரதான அதிபதிகள் சிவந்த சமுத்திரத்தில் அமிழ்ந்துபோனார்கள்.

4. The chariots of Pharaoh and his train, hath he cast into the sea, Yea, the choice of his warriors, were sunk in the Sedgy Sea.

5. ஆழி அவர்களை மூடிக்கொண்டது; கல்லைப்போல ஆழங்களில் அமிழ்ந்துபோனார்கள்.

5. Roaring deeps, covered them, They went down in the raging depths like a stone.

6. கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய வலதுகரம் பலத்தினால் மகத்துவம் சிறந்திருக்கிறது; கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய வலதுகரம் பகைஞனை நொறுக்கிவிட்டது.

6. Thy right hand, O Yahweh is splendid in power, Thy right hand, O Yahweh dasheth in pieces a foe;

7. உமக்கு விரோதமாய் எழும்பினவர்களை உமது முக்கியத்தின் மகத்துவத்தினாலே நிர்மூலமாக்கினீர்; உம்முடைய கோபாக்கினியை அனுப்பினீர், அது அவர்களைத் தாளடியைப்போலப் பட்சித்தது.

7. And in the greatness of thine exaltation, dost thou tear down thine opposers, Thou dost send forth thy wrath, it consumeth them as straw;

8. உமது நாசியின் சுவாசத்தினால் ஜலம் குவிந்து நின்றது; வெள்ளம் குவியலாக நிமிர்ந்து நின்றது; ஆழமான ஜலம் நடுக்கடலிலே உறைந்துபோயிற்று.

8. And with the blast of thy nostrils, heaped up are the waters, Upreared like a mound, are the flowing waves, Roaring deeps are congealed in the heart of the sea.

9. தொடருவேன், பிடிப்பேன், கொள்ளையாடிப் பங்கிடுவேன், என் ஆசை அவர்களிடத்தில் திருப்தியாகும், என் பட்டயத்தை உருவுவேன், என் கை அவர்களைச் சங்கரிக்கும் என்று பகைஞன் சொன்னான்.

9. Said the fee I will pursue overtake divide spoil, Take her fill of them shall my soul, I will bare my sword, root them out shall my hand.

10. உம்முடைய காற்றை வீசப்பண்ணினீர், கடல் அவர்களை மூடிக்கொண்டது; திரளான தண்ணீர்களில் ஈயம்போல அமிழ்ந்துபோனார்கள்.

10. Thou didst blow with thy wind they were covered by the sea, They rolled like lead, into the waters so wide. Who is, like unto thee, among the mighty O Yahweh?

11. கர்த்தாவே, தேவர்களில் உமக்கு ஒப்பானவர் யார்? பரிசுத்தத்தில் மகத்துவமுள்ளவரும், துதிகளில் பயப்படத்தக்கவரும், அற்புதங்களைச் செய்கிறவருமாகிய உமக்கு ஒப்பானவர் யார்?

11. Who is, like unto thee, Majestic in holiness, To be revered in praises, Doing a marvellous thing?

12. நீர் உமது வலதுகரத்தை நீட்டினீர்; பூமி அவர்களை விழுங்கிப்போட்டது.

12. Thou didst stretch forth thy right hand, earth swallowed them up.

13. நீர் மீட்டுக்கொண்ட இந்த ஜனங்களை உமது கிருபையினாலே அழைத்து வந்தீர்; உம்முடைய பரிசுத்த வாசஸ்தலத்துக்கு நேராக அவர்களை உமது பலத்தினால் வழி நடத்தினீர்.

13. Thou hast led forth in thy lovingkindness, the people which thou hast redeemed, Thou hast guided them in thy might into the home of thy holiness.

14. ஜனங்கள் அதைக் கேட்டுத் தத்தளிப்பார்கள்; பெலிஸ்தியாவின் குடிகளைத் திகில் பிடிக்கும்.

14. Peoples have heard they tremble, A pang, hath seized the dwellers of Philistia:

15. ஏதோமின் பிரபுக்கள் கலங்குவார்கள்; மோவாபின் பராக்கிரமசாலிகளை நடுக்கம் பிடிக்கும்; கானானின் குடிகள் யாவரும் கரைந்துபோவார்கள்.

15. Then, were amazed the chiefs of Edom, The mighty ones of Moab, there seizeth them, a trembling, Melted away, have all the dwellers of Canaan:

16. பயமும் திகிலும் அவர்கள்மேல் விழும். கர்த்தாவே, உமது ஜனங்கள் கடந்துபோகும்வரையும், நீர் மீட்ட ஜனங்களே கடந்துபோகும்வரையும், அவர்கள் உம்முடைய புயத்தின் மகத்துவத்தினால் கல்லைப்போல அசைவற்றிருப்பார்கள்.

16. There falleth upon them a terror and dread, With the greatness of thine arm, are they struck dumb as a stone, Till thy people pass over O Yahweh, Till the people pass over, which thou hast made thine own:

17. நீர் அவர்களைக் கொண்டுபோய், கர்த்தராகிய தேவரீர் வாசம்பண்ணுகிறதற்கு நியமித்த ஸ்தானமாகிய உம்முடைய சுதந்தரத்தின் பர்வதத்திலும், ஆண்டவராகிய தேவரீருடைய கரங்கள் ஸ்தாபித்த பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திலும் அவர்களை நாட்டுவீர்.

17. Thou bringest them in and plantest them, In the mountain of thine inheritance, Thy dwelling-place to abide in which thou hast made, O Yahweh, A hallowed place O My Lord which thy hands have established.

18. கர்த்தர் சதாகாலங்களாகிய என்றென்றைக்கும் ராஜரிகம்பண்ணுவார்.

18. Yahweh, shall reign unto times age-abiding and beyond.

19. பார்வோனின் குதிரைகள் அவனுடைய இரதங்களோடும் குதிரைவீரரோடும் சமுத்திரத்தில் பிரவேசித்தது; கர்த்தர் சமுத்திரத்தின் ஜலத்தை அவர்கள்மேல் திரும்பப்பண்ணினார்; இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோ சமுத்திரத்தின் நடுவே வெட்டாந்தரையிலே நடந்துபோனார்கள் என்று பாடினார்கள்.

19. For the horses of Pharaoh, with his chariots and his horsemen, entered into the sea, Then did Yahweh bring back upon them the waters of the sea, But the sons of Israel, had gone their way on the dry ground through the midst of the sea.

20. ஆரோனின் சகோதரியாகிய மிரியாம் என்னும் தீர்க்கதரிசியானவளும் தன் கையிலே தம்புரை எடுத்துக்கொண்டாள்; சகல ஸ்திரீகளும் தம்புருகளோடும் நடனத்தோடும் அவளுக்குப் பின்னே புறப்பட்டுப்போனார்கள்.

20. Then took Miriam the prophetess, sister of Aaron the timbrel in her hand, and all the women came forth after her with timbrels and dances,

21. மிரியாம் அவர்களுக்குப் பிரதிவசனமாக: கர்த்தரைப் பாடுங்கள், அவர் மகிமையாய் வெற்றிசிறந்தார்; குதிரையையும் குதிரைவீரனையும் கடலிலே தள்ளினார் என்று பாடினாள்.

21. And Miriam responded to the men, Sing to Yahweh for he is exalted exalted, The horse and his rider, hath he cast into the sea.

22. பின்பு மோசே இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்களைச் சிவந்த சமுத்திரத்திலிருந்து பிரயாணப்படுத்தினான். அவர்கள் சூர்வனாந்தரத்துக்குப் புறப்பட்டுப்போய், மூன்று நாள் வனாந்தரத்தில் தண்ணீர் கிடையாமல் நடந்தார்கள்.

22. And Moses caused Israel to break up from the Red Sea, and they went out into the desert of Shur, and journeyed three days in the desert and found no water;

23. அவர்கள் மாராவிலே வந்தபோது, மாராவின் தண்ணீர் கசப்பாயிருந்ததினால் அதைக் குடிக்க அவர்களுக்குக் கூடாதிருந்தது; அதினால் அவ்விடத்துக்கு மாரா என்று பேரிடப்பட்டது.

23. and, when they came in towards Marah they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter, for this taut, was the name thereof called Marah.

24. அப்பொழுது ஜனங்கள் மோசேக்கு விரோதமாய் முறுமுறுத்து: என்னத்தைக் குடிப்போம் என்றார்கள்.

24. So the people murmured against Moses saying, What are we to drink?

25. மோசே கர்த்தரை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டான்; அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் மோசேக்கு ஒரு மரத்தைக் காண்பித்தார்; அதை அவன் தண்ணீரில் போட்டவுடனே, அது மதுரமான தண்ணீராயிற்று. அவர் அங்கே அவர்களுக்கு ஒரு நியமத்தையும், ஒரு நியாயத்தையும் கட்டளையிட்டு, அங்கே அவர்களைச் சோதித்து:

25. And he made outcry unto Yahweh, and Yahweh pointed out a tree, and he cast it into the waters, and the waters became sweet, There, he appointed him a statute and regulation And, there, he put him to the proof.

26. நீ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் சத்தத்தைக் கவனமாய்க் கேட்டு, அவர் பார்வைக்குச் செம்மையானவைகளைச் செய்து, அவர் கட்டளைகளுக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, அவருடைய நியமங்கள் யாவையும் கைக்கொண்டால், நான் எகிப்தியருக்கு வரப்பண்ணின வியாதிகளில் ஒன்றையும் உனக்கு வரப்பண்ணேன்; நானே உன் பரிகாரியாகிய கர்த்தர் என்றார்.

26. And he said: If thou, wilt indeed hearken, to the voice of Yahweh thy God, And the thing that is right in his eyes, thou wilt do, And so give ear to his commandments, And keep all his statutes, None of the sicknesses which I laid on the Egyptians, will I lay upon thee, For, I, am Yahweh, thy physician.

27. பின்பு அவர்கள் ஏலிமுக்கு வந்தார்கள்; அங்கே பன்னிரண்டு நீரூற்றுகளும் எழுபது பேரீச்சமரங்களும் இருந்தது; அங்கே தண்ணீர் அருகே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.

27. Then came they in to Elim, and there, were twelve fountains of water and seventy palm-trees, so they encamped there, by the waters.
