1. அப்பொழுது மோசேயும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரும் கர்த்தரைப் புகழ்ந்துபாடின பாட்டு: கர்த்தரைப் பாடுவேன்; அவர் மகிமையாய் வெற்றி சிறந்தார்; குதிரையையும் குதிரைவீரனையும் கடலிலே தள்ளினார்.
வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 15:3

1. Then sange Moses and the childre of Israel this songe vnto the LORDE, and sayde: I will synge vnto ye LORDE, for he hath done gloriously, horse & charet hath he ouerthrowne in the see.

2. கர்த்தர் என் பெலனும் என் கீதமுமானவர்; அவர் எனக்கு இரட்சிப்புமானவர்; அவரே என் தேவன், அவருக்கு வாசஸ்தலத்தை ஆயத்தம்பண்ணுவேன்; அவரே என் தகப்பனுடைய தேவன், அவரை உயர்த்துவேன்;

2. The LORDE is my strength, and my songe, and is become my saluacion. This is my God, I wil magnifie him: He is my fathers God, I wil exalte him.

3. கர்த்தரே யுத்தத்தில் வல்லவர்; கர்த்தர் என்பது அவருடைய நாமம்.

3. The LORDE is the right man of warre, LORDE is his name.

4. பார்வோனின் இரதங்களையும் அவன் சேனைகளையும் சமுத்திரத்திலே தள்ளிவிட்டார்; அவனுடைய பிரதான அதிபதிகள் சிவந்த சமுத்திரத்தில் அமிழ்ந்துபோனார்கள்.

4. The charettes of Pharao & his power, hath he cast in to the see. His chosen captaynes are drowned in the reed see,

5. ஆழி அவர்களை மூடிக்கொண்டது; கல்லைப்போல ஆழங்களில் அமிழ்ந்துபோனார்கள்.

5. ye depe hath couered them: they fell to the grounde as a stone.

6. கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய வலதுகரம் பலத்தினால் மகத்துவம் சிறந்திருக்கிறது; கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய வலதுகரம் பகைஞனை நொறுக்கிவிட்டது.

6. Thy right hande (O LORDE) is glorious in power: thy right hade (O LORDE) hath smytten the enemies.

7. உமக்கு விரோதமாய் எழும்பினவர்களை உமது முக்கியத்தின் மகத்துவத்தினாலே நிர்மூலமாக்கினீர்; உம்முடைய கோபாக்கினியை அனுப்பினீர், அது அவர்களைத் தாளடியைப்போலப் பட்சித்தது.

7. And with thy greate glory thou hast destroyed thine aduersaries: thou sentest out yi wrath, & it cosumed them, euen as stobble.

8. உமது நாசியின் சுவாசத்தினால் ஜலம் குவிந்து நின்றது; வெள்ளம் குவியலாக நிமிர்ந்து நின்றது; ஆழமான ஜலம் நடுக்கடலிலே உறைந்துபோயிற்று.

8. In the breth of thy wrath the waters fell together, the floudes wente vpon a heape: The depes plomped together in ye myddest of the see.

9. தொடருவேன், பிடிப்பேன், கொள்ளையாடிப் பங்கிடுவேன், என் ஆசை அவர்களிடத்தில் திருப்தியாகும், என் பட்டயத்தை உருவுவேன், என் கை அவர்களைச் சங்கரிக்கும் என்று பகைஞன் சொன்னான்.

9. The enemie thought: I will folowe vpon them, and ouertake them, and deuyde ye spoyle, and coole my mynde vpon them. I wil drawe out my swerde, and my hande shal destroye them.

10. உம்முடைய காற்றை வீசப்பண்ணினீர், கடல் அவர்களை மூடிக்கொண்டது; திரளான தண்ணீர்களில் ஈயம்போல அமிழ்ந்துபோனார்கள்.

10. Thou blewest with thy wynde, the see couered them, and they sancke downe as leed in the mightie waters.

11. கர்த்தாவே, தேவர்களில் உமக்கு ஒப்பானவர் யார்? பரிசுத்தத்தில் மகத்துவமுள்ளவரும், துதிகளில் பயப்படத்தக்கவரும், அற்புதங்களைச் செய்கிறவருமாகிய உமக்கு ஒப்பானவர் யார்?

11. LORDE, who is like vnto the amonge ye goddes? Who is so glorious in holynes, fearfull, laudable, and doinge wonders?

12. நீர் உமது வலதுகரத்தை நீட்டினீர்; பூமி அவர்களை விழுங்கிப்போட்டது.

12. When thou stretchedest out yi right hande, the earth swalowed them vp.

13. நீர் மீட்டுக்கொண்ட இந்த ஜனங்களை உமது கிருபையினாலே அழைத்து வந்தீர்; உம்முடைய பரிசுத்த வாசஸ்தலத்துக்கு நேராக அவர்களை உமது பலத்தினால் வழி நடத்தினீர்.

13. Thou of yi very mercy hast led this people, whom thou hast delyuered, and with yi strength thou hast brought them vnto the dwellynge of thy Sanctuary.

14. ஜனங்கள் அதைக் கேட்டுத் தத்தளிப்பார்கள்; பெலிஸ்தியாவின் குடிகளைத் திகில் பிடிக்கும்.

14. Whan ye nacions herde this, they raged, sorowe came vpon the Philistynes.

15. ஏதோமின் பிரபுக்கள் கலங்குவார்கள்; மோவாபின் பராக்கிரமசாலிகளை நடுக்கம் பிடிக்கும்; கானானின் குடிகள் யாவரும் கரைந்துபோவார்கள்.

15. Then were ye prynces of Edom afrayed, tremblynge came vpo ye mightie of Moab, all the indwellers of Canaan waxed faynte harted.

16. பயமும் திகிலும் அவர்கள்மேல் விழும். கர்த்தாவே, உமது ஜனங்கள் கடந்துபோகும்வரையும், நீர் மீட்ட ஜனங்களே கடந்துபோகும்வரையும், அவர்கள் உம்முடைய புயத்தின் மகத்துவத்தினால் கல்லைப்போல அசைவற்றிருப்பார்கள்.

16. Let feare and drede fall vpon them thorow thy greate arme, that they maye be as styll as a stone, tyll thy people (O LORDE) be gone thorow, tyll yi people whom thou hast gotten, be gone thorow.

17. நீர் அவர்களைக் கொண்டுபோய், கர்த்தராகிய தேவரீர் வாசம்பண்ணுகிறதற்கு நியமித்த ஸ்தானமாகிய உம்முடைய சுதந்தரத்தின் பர்வதத்திலும், ஆண்டவராகிய தேவரீருடைய கரங்கள் ஸ்தாபித்த பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திலும் அவர்களை நாட்டுவீர்.

17. Brynge them in, and plante them vpon the mountayne of thy enheritaunce, vnto ye place that thou hast made for thyne owne dwellynge: euen to yi teple (O LORDE) which thy handes haue prepared.

18. கர்த்தர் சதாகாலங்களாகிய என்றென்றைக்கும் ராஜரிகம்பண்ணுவார்.

18. The LORDE shal be kynge for euer & euer.

19. பார்வோனின் குதிரைகள் அவனுடைய இரதங்களோடும் குதிரைவீரரோடும் சமுத்திரத்தில் பிரவேசித்தது; கர்த்தர் சமுத்திரத்தின் ஜலத்தை அவர்கள்மேல் திரும்பப்பண்ணினார்; இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோ சமுத்திரத்தின் நடுவே வெட்டாந்தரையிலே நடந்துபோனார்கள் என்று பாடினார்கள்.

19. For Pharao wente in to the see with horses, and charettes, and horsmen, and the LORDE made the see fall agayne vpon them. But the children of Israel wete drye thorow the myddest of the see.

20. ஆரோனின் சகோதரியாகிய மிரியாம் என்னும் தீர்க்கதரிசியானவளும் தன் கையிலே தம்புரை எடுத்துக்கொண்டாள்; சகல ஸ்திரீகளும் தம்புருகளோடும் நடனத்தோடும் அவளுக்குப் பின்னே புறப்பட்டுப்போனார்கள்.

20. And Miriam the prophetisse, Aarons sister, toke a tymbrell in hir hande, and all the women folowed out after her with timbrels in a daunse.

21. மிரியாம் அவர்களுக்குப் பிரதிவசனமாக: கர்த்தரைப் பாடுங்கள், அவர் மகிமையாய் வெற்றிசிறந்தார்; குதிரையையும் குதிரைவீரனையும் கடலிலே தள்ளினார் என்று பாடினாள்.

21. And Miriam sange before the: O let vs synge vnto the LORDE, for he hath done gloriously, man and horse hath he ouerthrowne in the see.

22. பின்பு மோசே இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்களைச் சிவந்த சமுத்திரத்திலிருந்து பிரயாணப்படுத்தினான். அவர்கள் சூர்வனாந்தரத்துக்குப் புறப்பட்டுப்போய், மூன்று நாள் வனாந்தரத்தில் தண்ணீர் கிடையாமல் நடந்தார்கள்.

22. Moses caused the children of Israel to departe out from the reed see, vnto the wyldernes of Sur, & they wente thre dayes in ye wildernes, yt they founde no water.

23. அவர்கள் மாராவிலே வந்தபோது, மாராவின் தண்ணீர் கசப்பாயிருந்ததினால் அதைக் குடிக்க அவர்களுக்குக் கூடாதிருந்தது; அதினால் அவ்விடத்துக்கு மாரா என்று பேரிடப்பட்டது.

23. Then came they to Marath, but they coude not drinke ye water for bytternes, for it was very bytter. Therfore was it called Marah, (yt is bytternes.)

24. அப்பொழுது ஜனங்கள் மோசேக்கு விரோதமாய் முறுமுறுத்து: என்னத்தைக் குடிப்போம் என்றார்கள்.

24. Then ye people murmured against Moses, & sayde: What shal we drynke?

25. மோசே கர்த்தரை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டான்; அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் மோசேக்கு ஒரு மரத்தைக் காண்பித்தார்; அதை அவன் தண்ணீரில் போட்டவுடனே, அது மதுரமான தண்ணீராயிற்று. அவர் அங்கே அவர்களுக்கு ஒரு நியமத்தையும், ஒரு நியாயத்தையும் கட்டளையிட்டு, அங்கே அவர்களைச் சோதித்து:

25. And Moses cried vnto ye LORDE, which shewed him a tre: this he put in ye water, the was it swete. There he made the a statute, and a lawe, and tempted them,

26. நீ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் சத்தத்தைக் கவனமாய்க் கேட்டு, அவர் பார்வைக்குச் செம்மையானவைகளைச் செய்து, அவர் கட்டளைகளுக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, அவருடைய நியமங்கள் யாவையும் கைக்கொண்டால், நான் எகிப்தியருக்கு வரப்பண்ணின வியாதிகளில் ஒன்றையும் உனக்கு வரப்பண்ணேன்; நானே உன் பரிகாரியாகிய கர்த்தர் என்றார்.

26. and sayde: Yf thou wylt herken vnto the voyce of ye LORDE yi God, & do that which is right in his sighte, and geue eare vnto his commaundementes, & kepe all his statutes, then wyl I laye vpon ye none of the sicknesses, that I layed vpon Egipte, for I am the LORDE thy surgione.

27. பின்பு அவர்கள் ஏலிமுக்கு வந்தார்கள்; அங்கே பன்னிரண்டு நீரூற்றுகளும் எழுபது பேரீச்சமரங்களும் இருந்தது; அங்கே தண்ணீர் அருகே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.

27. And they came vnto Elim, where there were twolue welles of water, and seuentie palme trees, and there they pitched by ye water syde.
