1. அப்பொழுது மோசேயும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரும் கர்த்தரைப் புகழ்ந்துபாடின பாட்டு: கர்த்தரைப் பாடுவேன்; அவர் மகிமையாய் வெற்றி சிறந்தார்; குதிரையையும் குதிரைவீரனையும் கடலிலே தள்ளினார்.
வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 15:3

1. Then Moses and the sons of Israel sang this song to Jehovah, and spoke, saying, I will sing to Jehovah, for He is highly exalted. He has thrown the horse and his rider into the sea.

2. கர்த்தர் என் பெலனும் என் கீதமுமானவர்; அவர் எனக்கு இரட்சிப்புமானவர்; அவரே என் தேவன், அவருக்கு வாசஸ்தலத்தை ஆயத்தம்பண்ணுவேன்; அவரே என் தகப்பனுடைய தேவன், அவரை உயர்த்துவேன்;

2. My strength and song is Jehovah, and it happened, He was to me salvation; this is my God and I will glorify Him; the God of my father, and I will exalt Him.

3. கர்த்தரே யுத்தத்தில் வல்லவர்; கர்த்தர் என்பது அவருடைய நாமம்.

3. Jehovah is a Man of war; Jehovah is His name.

4. பார்வோனின் இரதங்களையும் அவன் சேனைகளையும் சமுத்திரத்திலே தள்ளிவிட்டார்; அவனுடைய பிரதான அதிபதிகள் சிவந்த சமுத்திரத்தில் அமிழ்ந்துபோனார்கள்.

4. He has cast Pharaoh's chariots and his army in the sea; and the choice ones of his officers are drowned in the Sea of Reeds,

5. ஆழி அவர்களை மூடிக்கொண்டது; கல்லைப்போல ஆழங்களில் அமிழ்ந்துபோனார்கள்.

5. the depths cover them; they have dropped into the depths like a stone.

6. கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய வலதுகரம் பலத்தினால் மகத்துவம் சிறந்திருக்கிறது; கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய வலதுகரம் பகைஞனை நொறுக்கிவிட்டது.

6. Your right hand, O Jehovah, is glorious in power; O Jehovah, Your right hand dashes the enemy to pieces.

7. உமக்கு விரோதமாய் எழும்பினவர்களை உமது முக்கியத்தின் மகத்துவத்தினாலே நிர்மூலமாக்கினீர்; உம்முடைய கோபாக்கினியை அனுப்பினீர், அது அவர்களைத் தாளடியைப்போலப் பட்சித்தது.

7. And in Your majesty's greatness You pull down those rising up against You; You send forth Your wrath; it consumes them like stubble.

8. உமது நாசியின் சுவாசத்தினால் ஜலம் குவிந்து நின்றது; வெள்ளம் குவியலாக நிமிர்ந்து நின்றது; ஆழமான ஜலம் நடுக்கடலிலே உறைந்துபோயிற்று.

8. And by the spirit of Your anger waters were heaped up; the running waters stood like a wall; the depths congealed in the heart of the sea.

9. தொடருவேன், பிடிப்பேன், கொள்ளையாடிப் பங்கிடுவேன், என் ஆசை அவர்களிடத்தில் திருப்தியாகும், என் பட்டயத்தை உருவுவேன், என் கை அவர்களைச் சங்கரிக்கும் என்று பகைஞன் சொன்னான்.

9. The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my soul shall be filled with them; I will draw my sword; my hand will destroy them.

10. உம்முடைய காற்றை வீசப்பண்ணினீர், கடல் அவர்களை மூடிக்கொண்டது; திரளான தண்ணீர்களில் ஈயம்போல அமிழ்ந்துபோனார்கள்.

10. You blew with Your wind, the sea covered them; they sank like lead in mighty waters.

11. கர்த்தாவே, தேவர்களில் உமக்கு ஒப்பானவர் யார்? பரிசுத்தத்தில் மகத்துவமுள்ளவரும், துதிகளில் பயப்படத்தக்கவரும், அற்புதங்களைச் செய்கிறவருமாகிய உமக்கு ஒப்பானவர் யார்?

11. Who is like You among the gods, O Jehovah? Who is like You, glorified in holiness, fearful in praises, O Worker of wonders?

12. நீர் உமது வலதுகரத்தை நீட்டினீர்; பூமி அவர்களை விழுங்கிப்போட்டது.

12. You stretched Your right hand; the earth swallowed them.

13. நீர் மீட்டுக்கொண்ட இந்த ஜனங்களை உமது கிருபையினாலே அழைத்து வந்தீர்; உம்முடைய பரிசுத்த வாசஸ்தலத்துக்கு நேராக அவர்களை உமது பலத்தினால் வழி நடத்தினீர்.

13. In Your mercy You led the people whom You redeemed; You guided in Your strength to Your holy dwelling.

14. ஜனங்கள் அதைக் கேட்டுத் தத்தளிப்பார்கள்; பெலிஸ்தியாவின் குடிகளைத் திகில் பிடிக்கும்.

14. Peoples heard; they tremble; trembling seized the dwellers of Philistia.

15. ஏதோமின் பிரபுக்கள் கலங்குவார்கள்; மோவாபின் பராக்கிரமசாலிகளை நடுக்கம் பிடிக்கும்; கானானின் குடிகள் யாவரும் கரைந்துபோவார்கள்.

15. Then the chiefs of Edom were terrified; the leaders of Moab were seized by trembling; all the dwellers of Canaan were melted.

16. பயமும் திகிலும் அவர்கள்மேல் விழும். கர்த்தாவே, உமது ஜனங்கள் கடந்துபோகும்வரையும், நீர் மீட்ட ஜனங்களே கடந்துபோகும்வரையும், அவர்கள் உம்முடைய புயத்தின் மகத்துவத்தினால் கல்லைப்போல அசைவற்றிருப்பார்கள்.

16. Terrors and dread fell on them; by the greatness of Your arm; they are silent as a stone, until Your people pass through, O Jehovah, until pass through the people whom You have bought.

17. நீர் அவர்களைக் கொண்டுபோய், கர்த்தராகிய தேவரீர் வாசம்பண்ணுகிறதற்கு நியமித்த ஸ்தானமாகிய உம்முடைய சுதந்தரத்தின் பர்வதத்திலும், ஆண்டவராகிய தேவரீருடைய கரங்கள் ஸ்தாபித்த பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திலும் அவர்களை நாட்டுவீர்.

17. You shall bring them in and plant them in the mountain of Your inheritance, the place You have made for Your dwelling place, O Jehovah; the sanctuary which Your hands have prepared, O Lord.

18. கர்த்தர் சதாகாலங்களாகிய என்றென்றைக்கும் ராஜரிகம்பண்ணுவார்.

18. Jehovah reigns forever and ever!

19. பார்வோனின் குதிரைகள் அவனுடைய இரதங்களோடும் குதிரைவீரரோடும் சமுத்திரத்தில் பிரவேசித்தது; கர்த்தர் சமுத்திரத்தின் ஜலத்தை அவர்கள்மேல் திரும்பப்பண்ணினார்; இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோ சமுத்திரத்தின் நடுவே வெட்டாந்தரையிலே நடந்துபோனார்கள் என்று பாடினார்கள்.

19. For the horses of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and his horsemen into the sea, and Jehovah brought back the waters of the sea on them; and the sons of Israel walked on dry land in the midst of the sea.

20. ஆரோனின் சகோதரியாகிய மிரியாம் என்னும் தீர்க்கதரிசியானவளும் தன் கையிலே தம்புரை எடுத்துக்கொண்டாள்; சகல ஸ்திரீகளும் தம்புருகளோடும் நடனத்தோடும் அவளுக்குப் பின்னே புறப்பட்டுப்போனார்கள்.

20. And the sister of Aaron, Miriam the prophetess, took the timbrel in her hand, and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.

21. மிரியாம் அவர்களுக்குப் பிரதிவசனமாக: கர்த்தரைப் பாடுங்கள், அவர் மகிமையாய் வெற்றிசிறந்தார்; குதிரையையும் குதிரைவீரனையும் கடலிலே தள்ளினார் என்று பாடினாள்.

21. And Miriam answered to them, Sing to Jehovah, for triumphing He has triumphed gloriously; He has thrown the horse and its rider into the sea.

22. பின்பு மோசே இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்களைச் சிவந்த சமுத்திரத்திலிருந்து பிரயாணப்படுத்தினான். அவர்கள் சூர்வனாந்தரத்துக்குப் புறப்பட்டுப்போய், மூன்று நாள் வனாந்தரத்தில் தண்ணீர் கிடையாமல் நடந்தார்கள்.

22. And Moses made Israel to pull out from the Sea of Reeds. And they went out into the wilderness of Shur. And they went into the wilderness three days, and did not find water.

23. அவர்கள் மாராவிலே வந்தபோது, மாராவின் தண்ணீர் கசப்பாயிருந்ததினால் அதைக் குடிக்க அவர்களுக்குக் கூடாதிருந்தது; அதினால் அவ்விடத்துக்கு மாரா என்று பேரிடப்பட்டது.

23. And they came to Marah. And they were not able to drink water from Marah, for it was bitter. Therefore, one called its name Marah.

24. அப்பொழுது ஜனங்கள் மோசேக்கு விரோதமாய் முறுமுறுத்து: என்னத்தைக் குடிப்போம் என்றார்கள்.

24. And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?

25. மோசே கர்த்தரை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டான்; அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் மோசேக்கு ஒரு மரத்தைக் காண்பித்தார்; அதை அவன் தண்ணீரில் போட்டவுடனே, அது மதுரமான தண்ணீராயிற்று. அவர் அங்கே அவர்களுக்கு ஒரு நியமத்தையும், ஒரு நியாயத்தையும் கட்டளையிட்டு, அங்கே அவர்களைச் சோதித்து:

25. And he cried to Jehovah, and Jehovah showed him a tree. And he threw it into the water, and the water became sweet. He made a statute and an ordinance for them there, and He tested them there.

26. நீ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் சத்தத்தைக் கவனமாய்க் கேட்டு, அவர் பார்வைக்குச் செம்மையானவைகளைச் செய்து, அவர் கட்டளைகளுக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, அவருடைய நியமங்கள் யாவையும் கைக்கொண்டால், நான் எகிப்தியருக்கு வரப்பண்ணின வியாதிகளில் ஒன்றையும் உனக்கு வரப்பண்ணேன்; நானே உன் பரிகாரியாகிய கர்த்தர் என்றார்.

26. And He said, If you carefully listen to the voice of Jehovah your God, and do what is right in His eyes, and you give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will not put on you all the diseases which I have put on Egypt; for I am Jehovah your Healer.

27. பின்பு அவர்கள் ஏலிமுக்கு வந்தார்கள்; அங்கே பன்னிரண்டு நீரூற்றுகளும் எழுபது பேரீச்சமரங்களும் இருந்தது; அங்கே தண்ணீர் அருகே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.

27. And they came to Elim. And there were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees. And they camped by the waters.
