1. தேவன் எழுந்தருளுவார், அவருடைய சத்துருக்கள் சிதறுண்டு, அவரைப் பகைக்கிறவர்கள் அவருக்கு முன்பாக ஓடிப்போவார்கள்.

1. Unto the end, for them that shall be changed; for David.

2. புகை பறக்கடிக்கப்படுவதுபோல அவர்களைப் பறக்கடிப்பீர்; மெழுகு அக்கினிக்குமுன் உருகுவதுபோல துன்மார்க்கர் தேவனுக்குமுன் அழிவார்கள்.

2. SAVE me, O God: for the waters are come in even unto my soul.

3. நீதிமான்களோ தேவனுக்குமுன்பாக மகிழ்ந்து களிகூர்ந்து, ஆனந்த சந்தோஷமடைவார்கள்.

3. I stick fast in the mire of the deep: and there is no sure standing. I am come into the depth of the sea: and a tempest hath overwhelmed me.

4. தேவனைப் பாடி, அவருடைய நாமத்தைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுங்கள்; வனாந்தரங்களில் ஏறிவருகிறவருக்கு வழியை ஆயத்தப்படுத்துங்கள்; அவருடைய நாமம் யேகோவா, அவருக்கு முன்பாகக் களிகூருங்கள்.

4. I have laboured with crying; my jaws are become hoarse: my eyes have failed, whilst I hope in my God.

5. தம்முடைய பரிசுத்த வாசஸ்தலத்திலிருக்கிற தேவன், திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைகளுக்குத் தகப்பனும், விதவைகளுக்கு நியாயம் விசாரிக்கிறவருமாயிருக்கிறார்.

5. They are multiplied above the hairs of my head, who hate me without cause. My enemies are grown strong who have wrongfully persecuted me: then did I pay that which I took not away.

6. தேவன் தனிமையானவர்களுக்கு வீடுவாசல் ஏற்படுத்தி, கட்டுண்டவர்களை விடுதலையாக்குகிறார்; துரோகிகளோ வறண்ட பூமியில் தங்குவார்கள்.

6. O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my offences are not hidden from thee:

7. தேவனே, நீர் உம்முடைய ஜனங்களுக்கு முன்னே சென்று, அவாந்தரவெளியிலே நடந்து வருகையில். (சேலா)

7. Let not them be ashamed for me, who look for thee, O Lord, the Lord of hosts. Let them not be confounded on my account, who seek thee, O God of Israel.

8. பூமி அதிர்ந்தது; தேவனாகிய உமக்கு முன்பாக வானமும் பொழிந்தது; இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாயிருக்கிற தேவனுக்கு முன்பாகவே இந்தச் சீனாய்மலையும் அசைந்தது.

8. Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face.

9. தேவனே, சம்பூரண மழையைப் பெய்யப்பண்ணினீர்; இளைத்துப்போன உமது சுதந்தரத்தைத் திடப்படுத்தினீர்.

9. I am become a stranger to my brethren, and an alien to the sons of my mother.

10. உம்முடைய மந்தை அதிலே தங்கியிருந்தது; தேவனே, உம்முடைய தயையினாலே ஏழைகளைப் பராமரிக்கிறீர்.

10. For the zeal of thy house hath eaten me up: and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.

11. ஆண்டவர் வசனம் தந்தார்; அதைப் பிரசித்தப்படுத்துகிறவர்களின் கூட்டம் மிகுதி.

11. And I covered my soul in fasting: and it was made a reproach to me.

12. சேனைகளின் ராஜாக்கள் தத்தளித்து ஓடினார்கள்; வீட்டிலிருந்த ஸ்திரீயானவள் கொள்ளைப்பொருளைப் பங்கிட்டாள்.

12. And I made haircloth my garment: and I became a byword to them.

13. நீங்கள் அடுப்பினடியில் கிடந்தவர்களாயிருந்தாலும், வெள்ளியால் அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்ட புறாச்சிறகுகள் போலவும், பசும்பொன் நிறமாகிய அதின் இறகுகளின் சாயலாகவும் இருப்பீர்கள்.

13. They that sat in the gate spoke against me: and they that drank wine made me their song.

14. சர்வவல்லவர் அதில் ராஜாக்களைச் சிதறடித்தபோது, அது சல்மோன் மலையின் உறைந்த மழைபோல் வெண்மையாயிற்று.

14. But as for me, my prayer is to thee, O Lord; for the time of thy good pleasure, O God. In the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.

15. தேவபர்வதம் பாசான் பர்வதம் போலிருக்கிறது; பாசான் பர்வதம் உயர்ந்த சிகரங்களுள்ளது.

15. Draw me out of the mire, that I may not stick fast: deliver me from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.

16. உயர்ந்த சிகரமுள்ள பர்வதங்களே, ஏன் துள்ளுகிறீர்கள்; இந்தப் பர்வதத்தில் வாசமாயிருக்க தேவன் விரும்பினார்; ஆம், கர்த்தர் இதிலே என்றென்றைக்கும் வாசமாயிருப்பார்.

16. Let not the tempest of water drown me, nor the deep swallow me up: and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.

17. தேவனுடைய இரதங்கள் பதினாயிரங்களும், ஆயிரமாயிரங்களுமாயிருக்கிறது; ஆண்டவர் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலமான சீனாயிலிருந்த வண்ணமாய் அவைகளுக்குள் இருக்கிறார்.

17. Hear me, O Lord, for thy mercy is kind; look upon me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.

18. தேவரீர் உன்னதத்திற்கு ஏறி, சிறைப்பட்டவர்களைச் சிறையாக்கிக் கொண்டுபோனீர்; தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் மனுஷருக்குள் வாசம்பண்ணும்பொருட்டு, துரோகிகளாகிய மனுஷர்களுக்காகவும் வரங்களைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டீர்.
எபேசியர் 4:8-11

18. And turn not away thy face from thy servant: for I am in trouble, hear me speedily.

19. எந்நாளும் ஆண்டவருக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரமுண்டாவதாக; நம்மேல் பாரஞ்சுமத்தினாலும் நம்மை இரட்சிக்கிற தேவன் அவரே. (சேலா)

19. Attend to my soul, and deliver it: save me because of my enemies.

20. நம்முடைய தேவன் இரட்சிப்பை அருளும் தேவனாயிருக்கிறார்; ஆண்டவராகிய கர்த்தரால் மரணத்திற்கு நீங்கும் வழிகளுண்டு.

20. Thou knowest my reproach, and my confusion, and my shame.

21. மெய்யாகவே தேவன் தம்முடைய சத்துருக்களின் சிரசையும், தன் அக்கிரமங்களில் துணிந்து நடக்கிறவனுடைய மயிருள்ள உச்சந்தலையையும் உடைப்பார்.

21. In thy sight are all they that afflict me; my heart hath expected reproach and misery. And I looked for one that would grieve together with me, but there was none: and for one that would comfort me, and I found none.

22. உன் கால்கள் சத்துருக்களின் இரத்தத்தில் பதியும்படியாகவும், உன் நாய்களின் நாவு அதை நக்கும்படியாகவும்,

22. And they gave me gall for my food, and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.

23. என்னுடைய ஜனத்தைப் பாசானிலிருந்து திரும்ப அழைத்து வருவேன்; அதைச் சமுத்திர ஆழங்களிலிருந்தும் திரும்ப அழைத்து வருவேன் என்று ஆண்டவர் சொன்னார்.

23. Let their table become as a snare before them, and a recompense, and a stumblingblock.

24. தேவனே, உம்முடைய நடைகளைக் கண்டார்கள்; என் தேவனும் என் ராஜாவும் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திலே நடந்து வருகிற நடைகளையே கண்டார்கள்.

24. Let their eyes be darkened that they see not; and their back bend thou down always.

25. முன்னாகப் பாடுகிறவர்களும், பின்னாக வீணைகளை வாசிக்கிறவர்களும், சுற்றிலும் தம்புரு வாசிக்கிற கன்னிகைகளும் நடந்தார்கள்.

25. Pour out thy indignation upon them: and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them.

26. இஸ்ரவேலின் ஊற்றிலிருந்து தோன்றினவர்களே, சபைகளின் நடுவே ஆண்டவராகிய தேவனை ஸ்தோத்திரியுங்கள்.

26. Let their habitation be made desolate: and let there be none to dwell in their tabernacles.

27. அங்கே அவர்களை ஆளுகிற சின்ன பென்யமீனும், யூதாவின் பிரபுக்களும், அவர்கள் கூட்டமும், செபுலோனின் பிரபுக்களும், நப்தலியின் பிரபுக்களும் உண்டு.

27. Because they have persecuted him whom thou hast smitten; and they have added to the grief of my wounds.

28. உன் தேவன் உனக்குப் பலத்தைக் கட்டளையிட்டார்; தேவனே, நீர் எங்கள் நிமித்தம் உண்டு பண்ணினதைத் திடப்படுத்தும்.

28. Add thou iniquity upon their iniquity: and let them not come into thy justice.

29. எருசலேமிலுள்ள உம்முடைய ஆலயத்தினிமித்தம், ராஜாக்கள் உமக்குக் காணிக்கைகளைக் கொண்டு வருவார்கள்.

29. Let them be blotted out of the book of the living; and with the just let them not be written.

30. நாணலிலுள்ள மிருககூட்டத்தையும், ஜனங்களாகிய கன்றுகளோடுகூட ரிஷப கூட்டத்தையும் அதட்டும்; ஒவ்வொருவனும் வெள்ளிப்பணங்களைக் கொண்டுவந்து பணிந்துகொள்ளுவான்; யுத்தங்களில் பிரியப்படுகிற ஜனங்களைச் சிதறடிப்பார்.

30. But I am poor and sorrowful: thy salvation, O God, hath set me up.

31. பிரபுக்கள் எகிப்திலிருந்து வருவார்கள்; எத்தியோப்பியா தேவனை நோக்கி கையெடுக்கத் தீவிரிக்கும்.

31. I will praise the name of God with a canticle: and I will magnify him with praise.

32. பூமியின் ராஜ்யங்களே, தேவனைப் பாடி, ஆண்டவரைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுங்கள். (சேலா)

32. And it shall please God better than a young calf, that bringeth forth horns and hoofs.

33. ஆதிமுதலாயிருக்கிற வானாதி வானங்களின்மேல் எழுந்தருளியிருக்கிறவரைப் பாடுங்கள்; இதோ, தமது சத்தத்தைப் பலத்த சத்தமாய் முழங்கப்பண்ணுகிறார்.

33. Let the poor see and rejoice: seek ye God, and your soul shall live.

34. தேவனுடைய வல்லமையைப் பிரசித்தப்படுத்துங்கள்; அவருடைய மகிமை இஸ்ரவேலின்மேலும், அவருடைய வல்லமை மேகமண்டலங்களிலும் உள்ளது.

34. For the Lord hath heard the poor: and hath not despised his prisoners.

35. தேவனே, உமது பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலங்களிலிருந்து பயங்கரமாய் விளங்குகிறீர்; இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவன் தம்முடைய ஜனங்களுக்குப் பெலனையும் சத்துவத்தையும் அருளுகிறவர்; தேவனுக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரமுண்டாவதாக.

35. Let the heavens and the earth praise him; the sea, and every thing that creepeth therein.
