1. தேவன் எழுந்தருளுவார், அவருடைய சத்துருக்கள் சிதறுண்டு, அவரைப் பகைக்கிறவர்கள் அவருக்கு முன்பாக ஓடிப்போவார்கள்.

1. To the Chief Musician. David's. A Melody, a Song. Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered, Yea let them that hate him flee before him:

2. புகை பறக்கடிக்கப்படுவதுபோல அவர்களைப் பறக்கடிப்பீர்; மெழுகு அக்கினிக்குமுன் உருகுவதுபோல துன்மார்க்கர் தேவனுக்குமுன் அழிவார்கள்.

2. As smoke is driven about, Let them be driven about, As wax is melted before a fire, Let the lawless perish before God.

3. நீதிமான்களோ தேவனுக்குமுன்பாக மகிழ்ந்து களிகூர்ந்து, ஆனந்த சந்தோஷமடைவார்கள்.

3. But let, the righteous, be glad, let them exult before God, Yea let them rejoice with gladness.

4. தேவனைப் பாடி, அவருடைய நாமத்தைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுங்கள்; வனாந்தரங்களில் ஏறிவருகிறவருக்கு வழியை ஆயத்தப்படுத்துங்கள்; அவருடைய நாமம் யேகோவா, அவருக்கு முன்பாகக் களிகூருங்கள்.

4. Sing ye to God, Make music of his Name, Lift up (a song), to him that rideth through the waste plains, Since Yah is his name, exult ye before him.

5. தம்முடைய பரிசுத்த வாசஸ்தலத்திலிருக்கிற தேவன், திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைகளுக்குத் தகப்பனும், விதவைகளுக்கு நியாயம் விசாரிக்கிறவருமாயிருக்கிறார்.

5. The father of the fatherless, And the advocate of widows, Is God, in his holy habitation.

6. தேவன் தனிமையானவர்களுக்கு வீடுவாசல் ஏற்படுத்தி, கட்டுண்டவர்களை விடுதலையாக்குகிறார்; துரோகிகளோ வறண்ட பூமியில் தங்குவார்கள்.

6. God, is he that causeth the solitary to dwell in a home, That bringeth out prisoners into prosperity, But, the rebellious, have made their habitation in a sunburnt land.

7. தேவனே, நீர் உம்முடைய ஜனங்களுக்கு முன்னே சென்று, அவாந்தரவெளியிலே நடந்து வருகையில். (சேலா)

7. O God! When thou camest forth before thy people, When thou didst stride through the wilderness, Selah.

8. பூமி அதிர்ந்தது; தேவனாகிய உமக்கு முன்பாக வானமும் பொழிந்தது; இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாயிருக்கிற தேவனுக்கு முன்பாகவே இந்தச் சீனாய்மலையும் அசைந்தது.

8. Earth, trembled, Yea, the heavens, dripped at the presence of God, This Sinai at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

9. தேவனே, சம்பூரண மழையைப் பெய்யப்பண்ணினீர்; இளைத்துப்போன உமது சுதந்தரத்தைத் திடப்படுத்தினீர்.

9. A bounteous rain, dost thou shed abroad, O God, upon thine inheritance, When exhausted, thou thyself, hast supported it:

10. உம்முடைய மந்தை அதிலே தங்கியிருந்தது; தேவனே, உம்முடைய தயையினாலே ஏழைகளைப் பராமரிக்கிறீர்.

10. Thy living host, have remained therein, Thou dost provide, in thy bounty, for the humbled ones O God!

11. ஆண்டவர் வசனம் தந்தார்; அதைப் பிரசித்தப்படுத்துகிறவர்களின் கூட்டம் மிகுதி.

11. Let, My Lord, but give the word, The herald bands, will be a mighty host:

12. சேனைகளின் ராஜாக்கள் தத்தளித்து ஓடினார்கள்; வீட்டிலிருந்த ஸ்திரீயானவள் கொள்ளைப்பொருளைப் பங்கிட்டாள்.

12. Kings of armies, they flee! they flee! And, she that stayeth at home, shall share the spoil.

13. நீங்கள் அடுப்பினடியில் கிடந்தவர்களாயிருந்தாலும், வெள்ளியால் அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்ட புறாச்சிறகுகள் போலவும், பசும்பொன் நிறமாகிய அதின் இறகுகளின் சாயலாகவும் இருப்பீர்கள்.

13. Though ye rest between the folds, The wings of the dove, shall be covered with silver, And, her pinions, with green-shimmering gold.

14. சர்வவல்லவர் அதில் ராஜாக்களைச் சிதறடித்தபோது, அது சல்மோன் மலையின் உறைந்த மழைபோல் வெண்மையாயிற்று.

14. When the Almighty scattereth kings therein, It will gleam like snow in the gloom:

15. தேவபர்வதம் பாசான் பர்வதம் போலிருக்கிறது; பாசான் பர்வதம் உயர்ந்த சிகரங்களுள்ளது.

15. A mighty mountain, is the mountain of Bashan, A mountain of peaks, is the mountain of Bashan!

16. உயர்ந்த சிகரமுள்ள பர்வதங்களே, ஏன் துள்ளுகிறீர்கள்; இந்தப் பர்வதத்தில் வாசமாயிருக்க தேவன் விரும்பினார்; ஆம், கர்த்தர் இதிலே என்றென்றைக்கும் வாசமாயிருப்பார்.

16. Wherefore start ye up, ye mountains, ye peaks? The mountain God hath coveted for his habitation, Surely, Yahweh will inhabit it ever!

17. தேவனுடைய இரதங்கள் பதினாயிரங்களும், ஆயிரமாயிரங்களுமாயிருக்கிறது; ஆண்டவர் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலமான சீனாயிலிருந்த வண்ணமாய் அவைகளுக்குள் இருக்கிறார்.

17. The chariots of God, are two myriads thousands repeated, My Lord, is among them Sinai, is in the sanctuary!

18. தேவரீர் உன்னதத்திற்கு ஏறி, சிறைப்பட்டவர்களைச் சிறையாக்கிக் கொண்டுபோனீர்; தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் மனுஷருக்குள் வாசம்பண்ணும்பொருட்டு, துரோகிகளாகிய மனுஷர்களுக்காகவும் வரங்களைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டீர்.

18. Thou hast ascended on high, Thou hast led in procession a body of captives, Thou hast received gifts consisting of men, Yea even the rebellious, That, Yah, Elohim, might settle down to rest.

19. எந்நாளும் ஆண்டவருக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரமுண்டாவதாக; நம்மேல் பாரஞ்சுமத்தினாலும் நம்மை இரட்சிக்கிற தேவன் அவரே. (சேலா)

19. Blessed be My Lord! Day by day, he beareth our burden for us, GOD himself, is our salvation. Selah.

20. நம்முடைய தேவன் இரட்சிப்பை அருளும் தேவனாயிருக்கிறார்; ஆண்டவராகிய கர்த்தரால் மரணத்திற்கு நீங்கும் வழிகளுண்டு.

20. The GOD we have, is a GOD of saving deeds, And, due to Yahweh, My Lord, are escapes from death.

21. மெய்யாகவே தேவன் தம்முடைய சத்துருக்களின் சிரசையும், தன் அக்கிரமங்களில் துணிந்து நடக்கிறவனுடைய மயிருள்ள உச்சந்தலையையும் உடைப்பார்.

21. Yea, God himself, will smite through the head of his foes, The hairy crown of him that is marching on in his guilty deeds.

22. உன் கால்கள் சத்துருக்களின் இரத்தத்தில் பதியும்படியாகவும், உன் நாய்களின் நாவு அதை நக்கும்படியாகவும்,

22. Said My Lord, From Bashan, will I bring back, I will bring back from the depths of the sea:

23. என்னுடைய ஜனத்தைப் பாசானிலிருந்து திரும்ப அழைத்து வருவேன்; அதைச் சமுத்திர ஆழங்களிலிருந்தும் திரும்ப அழைத்து வருவேன் என்று ஆண்டவர் சொன்னார்.

23. That thou mayest bathe thy foot in blood, The tongue of thy dogs, from the foes, hath its portion.

24. தேவனே, உம்முடைய நடைகளைக் கண்டார்கள்; என் தேவனும் என் ராஜாவும் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திலே நடந்து வருகிற நடைகளையே கண்டார்கள்.

24. They have seen thy progress O God, The progress of my GOD, my king into the sanctuary:

25. முன்னாகப் பாடுகிறவர்களும், பின்னாக வீணைகளை வாசிக்கிறவர்களும், சுற்றிலும் தம்புரு வாசிக்கிற கன்னிகைகளும் நடந்தார்கள்.

25. In front are the singers, Behind are the harpers, In the midst of damsels playing on timbrels:

26. இஸ்ரவேலின் ஊற்றிலிருந்து தோன்றினவர்களே, சபைகளின் நடுவே ஆண்டவராகிய தேவனை ஸ்தோத்திரியுங்கள்.

26. In the congregations, bless ye God, My Lord, from among the called of Israel:

27. அங்கே அவர்களை ஆளுகிற சின்ன பென்யமீனும், யூதாவின் பிரபுக்களும், அவர்கள் கூட்டமும், செபுலோனின் பிரபுக்களும், நப்தலியின் பிரபுக்களும் உண்டு.

27. There, is Benjamin, the Diminutive ruling them, The princes of Judah their throng, The princes of Zebulun, The princes of Naphtali.

28. உன் தேவன் உனக்குப் பலத்தைக் கட்டளையிட்டார்; தேவனே, நீர் எங்கள் நிமித்தம் உண்டு பண்ணினதைத் திடப்படுத்தும்.

28. Thy God hath commanded thy strength, The strength, O God, which thou hast wrought for us.

29. எருசலேமிலுள்ள உம்முடைய ஆலயத்தினிமித்தம், ராஜாக்கள் உமக்குக் காணிக்கைகளைக் கொண்டு வருவார்கள்.

29. Because of thy temple above Jerusalem, Unto thee, shall kings bear along a gift

30. நாணலிலுள்ள மிருககூட்டத்தையும், ஜனங்களாகிய கன்றுகளோடுகூட ரிஷப கூட்டத்தையும் அதட்டும்; ஒவ்வொருவனும் வெள்ளிப்பணங்களைக் கொண்டுவந்து பணிந்துகொள்ளுவான்; யுத்தங்களில் பிரியப்படுகிற ஜனங்களைச் சிதறடிப்பார்.

30. Rebuke thou, The wild beast of the reeds, The herd of mighty oxen among the calves of the peoples Each one bowing down with bars of silver, Scatter thou the peoples, who in wars take delight.

31. பிரபுக்கள் எகிப்திலிருந்து வருவார்கள்; எத்தியோப்பியா தேவனை நோக்கி கையெடுக்கத் தீவிரிக்கும்.

31. Ambassadors come out of Egypt, The Ethiopian, eagerly stretcheth out his hands, unto God.

32. பூமியின் ராஜ்யங்களே, தேவனைப் பாடி, ஆண்டவரைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுங்கள். (சேலா)

32. Ye kingdoms of the earth, sing unto God, Praise in song Adonay. Selah.

33. ஆதிமுதலாயிருக்கிற வானாதி வானங்களின்மேல் எழுந்தருளியிருக்கிறவரைப் பாடுங்கள்; இதோ, தமது சத்தத்தைப் பலத்த சத்தமாய் முழங்கப்பண்ணுகிறார்.

33. Unto him that rideth upon the most ancient heavens, Lo! he uttereth his voice, a voice of strength.

34. தேவனுடைய வல்லமையைப் பிரசித்தப்படுத்துங்கள்; அவருடைய மகிமை இஸ்ரவேலின்மேலும், அவருடைய வல்லமை மேகமண்டலங்களிலும் உள்ளது.

34. Ascribe ye strength unto God, Over Israel, is his majesty, And his strength, in the skies. To be revered is God, for his sanctuary,

35. தேவனே, உமது பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலங்களிலிருந்து பயங்கரமாய் விளங்குகிறீர்; இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவன் தம்முடைய ஜனங்களுக்குப் பெலனையும் சத்துவத்தையும் அருளுகிறவர்; தேவனுக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரமுண்டாவதாக.

35. As for the GOD of Israel, he, is giving strength and abundant might to the people. Blessed be God!
