1. இஸ்ரவேலர் எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட இரண்டாம் வருஷம் இரண்டாம் மாதம் முதல் தேதியில், கர்த்தர் சீனாய் வனாந்தரத்திலிருக்கிற ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்திலே மோசேயை நோக்கி:

1. And the Lorde spake vnto Moses in the wildernesse of Sinai in the tabernacle of witnesse the fyrst daye of the seconde moneth ad in the seconde yere after they were come out of ye londe of Egipte sayenge:

2. நீங்கள் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் முழுச்சபையாயிருக்கிற அவர்கள் பிதாக்களுடைய வீட்டு வம்சங்களிலுள்ள புருஷர்களாகிய சகல தலைகளையும் பேர்பேராக எண்ணித் தொகையேற்றுங்கள்.

2. take ye the summe of al the multitude of the childern of Israel in their kynredes and housholdes of their fathers and numbre the by name all that are males polle by polle

3. இஸ்ரவேலிலே இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள்முதல் யுத்தத்துக்குப் புறப்படத்தக்கவர்கள் எல்லாரையும் அவர்கள் சேனைகளின்படி நீயும் ஆரோனும் எண்ணிப் பார்ப்பீர்களாக.

4. ஒவ்வொரு கோத்திரத்துக்கு ஒவ்வொரு மனிதன் உங்களோடே இருப்பானாக; அவன் தன் பிதாக்களின் வம்சத்துக்குத் தலைவனாயிருக்கவேண்டும்.

4. and with you shalbe of euery trybe a heed man in the house of his father.

5. உங்களோடே நிற்கவேண்டிய மனிதருடைய நாமங்களாவன: ரூபன் கோத்திரத்தில் சேதேயூருடைய குமாரன் எலிசூர்.

5. And these are the names of ye me yt shall stode with you: in Rube Elizur ye sonne of Sedeur:

6. சிமியோன் கோத்திரத்தில் சூரிஷதாயின் குமாரன் செலூமியேல்.

6. In Simeo Selumiel ye sonne of Suri Sadai:

7. யூதா கோத்திரத்தில் அம்மினதாபின் குமாரன் நகசோன்.

7. In ye trybe of Iuda Nahesson ye sonne of Aminadab:

8. இசக்கார் கோத்திரத்தில் சூவாரின் குமாரன் நெதனெயேல்.

8. In Isachar Nathaneel ye sonne of Zuar:

9. செபுலோன் கோத்திரத்தில் ஏலோனின் குமாரன் எலியாப்.

9. In Sebulo Eliab ye sonne of Helo.

10. யோசேப்பின் குமாரராகிய எப்பிராயீம் கோத்திரத்தில் அம்மியூதின் குமாரன் எலிஷாமா; மனாசே கோத்திரத்தில் பெதாசூரின் குமாரன் கமாலியேல்.

11. பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்தில் கீதெயோனின் குமாரன் அபீதான்.

11. In Be Iamin Abidan the sonne of Gedeoni:

12. தாண் கோத்திரத்தில் அம்மீஷதாயின் குமாரன் அகியேசேர்.

12. In Dan Ahieser the sonne of Ammi Sadai:

13. ஆசேர் கோத்திரத்தில் ஓகிரானின் குமாரன் பாகியேல்.

18. இரண்டாம் மாதம் முதல் தேதியில் சபையார் எல்லாரையும் கூடிவரச்செய்தார்கள். அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் தங்கள்தங்கள் குடும்பத்தின்படிக்கும், பிதாக்களுடைய வம்சத்தின்படிக்கும், நாமத்தொகையின்படிக்கும், இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள்முதல் தலைதலையாகத் தங்கள் வம்ச உற்பத்தியைத் தெரிவித்தார்கள்.

18. and gathered all the congregacion together the fyrst daye of the seconde moneth and rekened them after their byrth and kinredes and houses of their fathers by name fro .xx. yere and aboue hed by hed:

19. as the Lorde comaunded Moses eue so he numbred them in ye wildernesse of Sinai.

21. ரூபன் கோத்திரத்தில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள், நாற்பத்தாறாயிரத்து ஐந்நூறுபேர்.

21. were numbred in the trybe off Ruben xlvi. thousande and fyue hundred.

30. செபுலோன் புத்திரருடைய பிதாக்களின் வீட்டு வம்சத்தாரில் இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள்முதல் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படத்தக்க புருஷர்கள் எல்லாரும் எண்ணப்பட்டபோது,

33. எப்பிராயீம் கோத்திரத்தில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள், நாற்பதினாயிரத்து ஐந்நூறுபேர்.

37. பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்தில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள், முப்பத்தையாயிரத்து நானூறுபேர்.

43. நப்தலி கோத்திரத்தில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள், ஐம்பத்து மூவாயிரத்து நானூறுபேர்.

44. எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள் இவர்களே; மோசேயும் ஆரோனும் இஸ்ரவேலுடைய பிதாக்களின் வம்சத்தில் ஒவ்வொரு வம்சத்துக்கு ஒவ்வொரு பிரபுவாகிய பன்னிரண்டுபேரும் எண்ணினார்கள்.

45. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருடைய பிதாக்களின் வம்சத்தில் இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள்முதல், இஸ்ரவேலில் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படத்தக்கவர்களாகிய எண்ணப்பட்ட பேர்கள் எல்லாரும்,

45. And all the numbres of the childern of Israel in the housses of their fathers from twentye yere and aboue what soeuer was mete for the warre in Israell

46. ஆறுலட்சத்து மூவாயிரத்து ஐந்நூற்று ஐம்பது பேராயிருந்தார்கள்.

46. drewe vnto the summe of syxe hundred thousande fyue hundred and .l.

47. லேவியர் தங்கள் பிதாக்களுடைய கோத்திரத்தின்படியே, மற்றவர்களுடனே எண்ணப்படவில்லை.

47. But the leuites in the tribe off their fathers were not numbred amonge them.

48. கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

48. And the Lorde spake vnto Moses sayenge:

49. நீ லேவி கோத்திரத்தாரை மாத்திரம் எண்ணாமலும், இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்குள்ளே அவர்கள் தொகையை ஏற்றாமலும்,

49. only se that thou numbre not the trybe of Leui nether take the summe of them amonge the childern of Israel.

50. லேவியரைச் சாட்சியின் வாசஸ்தலத்திற்கும், அதினுடைய சகல பணிமுட்டுகளுக்கும், அதிலுள்ள சமஸ்த பொருள்களுக்கும் விசாரிப்புக்காரராக ஏற்படுத்து; அவர்கள் வாசஸ்தலத்தையும் அதின் சகல பணிமுட்டுகளையும் சுமப்பார்களாக; அதினிடத்தில் ஊழியம் செய்து, வாசஸ்தலத்தைச் சுற்றிலும் பாளயமிறங்கக்கடவர்கள்.

50. But thou shalt appoynte the leuites vnto the habitacio of witnesse and to all the apparell thereof and vnto all that longeth thereto. For they shall bere the tabernacle and all the ordinaunce thereof and they shall ministre it and shall pitche their tentes rounde aboute it.

52. And the childern of Israel shall pitch their tentes euery man in his owne companye and euery ma by his awne standert thorow out all their hostes.

53. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரராகிய சபையின்மேல் கடுங்கோபம் வராதபடிக்கு லேவியர் சாட்சியின் வாசஸ்தலத்தைச் சுற்றிலும் பாளயமிறங்கி, லேவியர் சாட்சியின் வாசஸ்தலத்தைக் காவல்காப்பார்களாக என்றார்.

53. But the leuites shall pitche rounde aboute the habitacion of witnesse that there fall no wrath vpon the congregacion of the childre of Israel and the leuites shall wayte apon the habitacion of witnesse.

54. கர்த்தர் மோசேக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடி எல்லாவற்றையும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் செய்தார்கள்.

54. And the childern of Israel dyd acordinge to all that the Lord commaunded Moses.
