1. பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

1. And the Lord said to Moses,

2. நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடே சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: யாதாமொருவர் ஒரு விசேஷித்த பொருத்தனை பண்ணியிருந்தால், பொருத்தனை பண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள் உன் மதிப்பின்படி கர்த்தருக்கு உரியவர்கள்.

2. Say to the children of Israel, If a man makes a special oath, you will give your decision as to the value of the persons for the Lord.

3. இருபது வயதுமுதல் அறுபது வயதுக்கு உட்பட்ட ஆண்பிள்ளையை நீ பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தின் சேக்கலாகிய ஐம்பது வெள்ளிச்சேக்கலாகவும்,

3. And you will put the value of a male from twenty years to sixty years old at fifty shekels of silver, by the scale of the holy place.

4. பெண்பிள்ளையை முப்பது சேக்கலாகவும் மதிப்பாயாக.

4. And if it is a female, the value will be thirty shekels.

5. ஐந்து வயதுமுதல் இருபது வயதுக்கு உட்பட்ட ஆண்பிள்ளையை இருபது சேக்கலாகவும், பெண்பிள்ளையைப் பத்துச்சேக்கலாகவும்,

5. And if the person is from five to twenty years old, the value will be twenty shekels for a male, and ten for a female.

6. ஒரு மாதம்முதல் ஐந்து வயதுக்கு உட்பட்ட ஆண்பிள்ளையை ஐந்து வெள்ளிச்சேக்கலாகவும், பெண்பிள்ளையை மூன்று வெள்ளிச்சேக்கலாகவும்,

6. And if the person is from one month to five years old, then the value for a male will be five shekels of silver, and for a female three shekels.

7. அறுபது வயதுதொடங்கி, அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதுள்ள ஆண்பிள்ளையைப் பதினைந்து சேக்கலாகவும், பெண்பிள்ளையைப் பத்துச் சேக்கலாகவும் மதிக்கக்கடவாய்.

7. And for sixty years old and over, for a male the value will be fifteen shekels, and for a female, ten.

8. உன் மதிப்பின்படி செலுத்தக்கூடாத தரித்திரனாயிருந்தால், அவன் ஆசாரியனுக்கு முன்பாக வந்து நிற்கக்கடவன்; ஆசாரியன் அவனை மதிப்பானாக; பொருத்தனைபண்ணினவனுடைய திராணிக்கேற்றபடி ஆசாரியன் அவனை மதிக்கக்கடவன்.

8. But if he is poorer than the value which you have put on him, then let him be taken to the priest, and the priest will put a value on him, such as it is possible for him to give.

9. ஒருவன் பொருத்தனைபண்ணினது கர்த்தருக்குப் பலியிடப்படத்தக்க மிருக ஜீவனானால் அவன் கர்த்தருக்குக் கொடுக்கிற அப்படிப்பட்டதெல்லாம் பரிசுத்தமாயிருப்பதாக.

9. And if it is a beast of which men make offerings to the Lord, whatever any man gives of such to the Lord will be holy.

10. அதை மாற்றாமலும் வேறுபடுத்தாமலும் இருப்பானாக; இளப்பமானதற்குப் பதிலாக நலமானதையும், நலமானதற்குப் பதிலாக இளப்பமானதையும் செலுத்தாமல் இருப்பானாக; அவன் மிருகத்திற்குப் பதிலாக மிருகத்தை மாற்றிக் கொடுப்பானாகில், அப்பொழுது அதுவும் அதற்குப் பதிலாகக் கொடுத்ததும் பரிசுத்தமாயிருப்பதாக.

10. It may not be changed in any way, a good given for a bad, or a bad for a good; if one beast is changed for another, the two will be holy.

11. அது கர்த்தருக்குப் பலியிடப்படத்தகாத சுத்தமல்லாத யாதொரு மிருகமானால், அதை ஆசாரியனுக்கு முன்பாக நிறுத்தக்கடவன்.

11. And if it is any unclean beast, of which offerings are not made to the Lord, then let him take the beast before the priest;

12. ஆசாரியன் அது நல்லதானாலும் இளப்பமானதானாலும் அதை மதிப்பானாக; உன் மதிப்பின்படியே இருக்கக்கடவது.

12. And let the priest put a value on it, if it is good or bad; whatever value the priest puts on it, so will it be.

13. அதை மீட்டுக்கொள்ள மனதாயிருந்தானாகில், உன் மதிப்போடே ஐந்தில் ஒரு பங்கைக் கூட்டிக் கொடுக்கக்கடவன்.

13. But if he has a desire to get it back for himself, let him give a fifth more than your value.

14. ஒருவன் தன் வீட்டைக் கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தம் என்று நேர்ந்துகொண்டால், ஆசாரியன் அதின் நலத்துக்கும் இளப்பத்துக்கும்தக்கதாக அதை மதிக்கக்கடவன்; ஆசாரியன் மதிக்கிறபடி அது இருக்கக்கடவது.

14. And if a man has given his house as holy to the Lord, then the priest will put a value on it, if it is good or bad; as the priest gives decision so will the value be fixed.

15. தன் வீட்டைப் பரிசுத்தம் என்று நேர்ந்துகொண்டவன் அதை மீட்டுக்கொள்ள மனதாயிருந்தால், நீ மதிக்கும் திரவியத்தோடே ஐந்தில் ஒரு பங்கைக் கூட்டிக் கொடுக்கக்கடவன்; அப்பொழுது அது அவனுடையதாகும்.

15. And if the owner has a desire to get back his house, let him give a fifth more than your value, and it will be his.

16. ஒருவன் தன் காணியாட்சியான வயலில் யாதொரு பங்கைக் கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தம் என்று நேர்ந்துகொண்டால், உன் மதிப்பு அதின் விதைப்புக்குத்தக்கதாய் இருக்கவேண்டும்; ஒரு கலம் வாற்கோதுமை விதைக்கிற வயல் ஐம்பது வெள்ளிச் சேக்கலாக மதிக்கப்படவேண்டும்.

16. And if a man gives to the Lord part of the field which is his property, then let your value be in relation to the seed which is planted in it; a measure of barley grain will be valued at fifty shekels of silver.

17. யூபிலி வருஷமுதல் அவன் தன் வயலைப் பரிசுத்தம் என்று நேர்ந்துகொண்டால், அது உன் மதிப்பின்படி இருக்கவேண்டும்.

17. If he gives his field from the year of Jubilee, the value will be fixed by your decision.

18. யூபிலி வருஷத்துக்குப்பின் தன் வயலைப் பரிசுத்தம் என்று நேர்ந்துகொண்டானானால், யூபிலி வருஷம்மட்டுமுள்ள மற்ற வருஷங்களின்படியே ஆசாரியன் திரவியத்தைக் கணக்குப்பார்த்து, அதற்குத்தக்கது உன் மதிப்பிலே தள்ளப்படவேண்டும்.

18. But if he gives his field after the year of Jubilee, the amount of the money will be worked out by the priest in relation to the number of years till the coming year of Jubilee, and the necessary amount will be taken off your value.

19. வயலைப் பரிசுத்தம் என்று நேர்ந்துகொண்டவன் அதை மீட்டுக்கொள்ள மனதாயிருந்தால், உன் மதிப்பான திரவியத்தோடே ஐந்தில் ஒரு பங்கைக் கூட்டிக்கொடுக்கக்கடவன்; அப்பொழுது அது அவனுக்கு உறுதியாகும்.

19. And if the man who has given the field has a desire to get it back, let him give a fifth more than the price at which it was valued and it will be his.

20. அவன் வயலை மீட்டுக்கொள்ளாமல், வயலை வேறோருவனுக்கு விற்றுப்போட்டால், அது திரும்ப மீட்கப்படாமல்,

20. But if he has no desire to get it back, or if he has given it for a price to another man, it may not be got back again.

21. யூபிலி வருஷத்தில் மீட்கப்படும்போது, சாபத்தீடான வயலாகக் கர்த்தருக்கென்று நியமிக்கப்பட்டதாயிருக்கக்கடவது; அது ஆசாரியனுக்குக் காணியாட்சியாகும்.

21. But the field, when it becomes free at the year of Jubilee, will be holy to the Lord, as a field given under oath: it will be the property of the priest.

22. ஒருவன் தனக்குக் காணியாட்சி வயலாயிராமல் தான் விலைக்கு வாங்கின ஒரு வயலைக் கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தம் என்று நேர்ந்துகொண்டால்,

22. And if a man gives to the Lord a field which he has got for money from another, which is not part of his heritage;

23. அது யூபிலி வருஷம்மட்டும், உன் மதிப்பின்படி பெறும்விலை இன்னதென்று ஆசாரியன் அவனோடே கணக்குப்பார்த்து, அந்த உன் மதிப்பை, கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தமாயிருக்கும்படி, அவன் அந்நாளிலே கொடுக்கக்கடவன்.

23. Then the value fixed by you up to the year of Jubilee will be worked out for him by the priest, and in that day he will give the amount of your value as holy to the Lord.

24. யார் கையிலே அந்த வயலைக் கொண்டானோ, அந்தக் காணியாட்சிக்காரன் வசமாய் அது யூபிலி வருஷத்தில் திரும்பச்சேரும்.

24. In the year of Jubilee the field will go back to him from whom he got it, that is, to him whose heritage it was.

25. உன் மதிப்பெல்லாம் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்துச் சேக்கல் கணக்காயிருக்கக்கடவது; ஒரு சேக்கலானது இருபது கேரா.

25. And let all your values be based on the shekel of the holy place, that is, twenty gerahs to the shekel.

26. தலையீற்றானவைகள் கர்த்தருடையது, ஆகையால் ஒருவரும் தலையீற்றாகிய மிருகஜீவனைப் பரிசுத்தம் என்று நேர்ந்துகொள்ளலாகாது; அது மாடானாலும் ஆடானாலும் கர்த்தருடையது.

26. But a man may not give by oath to the Lord the first-fruits of cattle which are offered to the Lord: if it is an ox or a sheep it is the Lord's.

27. சுத்தமல்லாத மிருகத்தினுடைய தலையீற்றானால், அதை அவன் உன் மதிப்பின்படி மீட்டுக்கொண்டு, அதனுடனே ஐந்தில் ஒரு பங்கைக் கூட்டிக்கொடுக்கக்கடவன்; மீட்கப்படாமலிருந்தால், உன் மதிப்பின்படி அது விற்கப்படக்கடவது.

27. And if it is an unclean beast, then the owner of it may give money to get it back, in agreement with the value fixed by you, by giving a fifth more; or if it is not taken back, let it be given for money in agreement with your valuing.

28. ஒருவன் தன் வசத்திலுள்ள நரஜீவனிலாவது, மிருகஜீவனிலாவது, காணியாட்சி நிலத்திலாவது, எதையாகிலும் கர்த்தருக்கென்று சாபத்தீடாக நேர்ந்துகொண்டால், அது விற்கப்படவும் மீட்கப்படவும் கூடாது; நேர்ந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவைகளெல்லாம் கர்த்தருக்காகப் பரிசுத்தமாயிருக்கும்.

28. But nothing which a man has given completely to the Lord, out of all his property, of man or beast, or of the land which is his heritage, may be given away or got back in exchange for money; anything completely given is most holy to the Lord.

29. நரஜீவனில் சாபத்தீடாக நியமிக்கப்பட்டவைகளெல்லாம் மீட்கப்படாமல் கொலைசெய்யப்படக்கடவது.

29. Any man given completely to the Lord may not be got back: he is certainly to be put to death.

30. தேசத்திலே நிலத்தின் வித்திலும், விருட்சங்களின் கனியிலும், தசமபாகம் எல்லாம் கர்த்தருக்கு உரியது; அது கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தமானது.

30. And every tenth part of the land, of the seed planted, or of the fruit of trees, is holy to the Lord.

31. ஒருவன் தன் தசமபாகத்திலே எவ்வளவாவது மீட்டுக்கொள்ள மனதாயிருந்தானானால், அதனுடன் ஐந்தில் ஒரு பங்கைக் கூட்டிக் கொடுக்கக்கடவன்.

31. And if a man has a desire to get back any of the tenth part which he has given, let him give a fifth more.

32. கோலின் கீழ்ப்பட்ட ஆடுமாடுகளிலே பத்தில் ஒரு பங்காகிறதெல்லாம் கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தமானது.

32. And a tenth part of the herd and of the flock, whatever goes under the rod of the valuer, will be holy to the Lord.

33. அது நல்லதோ இளப்பமானதோ என்று அவன் பார்க்கவேண்டாம்; அதை மாற்றவும் வேண்டாம்; மாற்றினால், அதுவும் அதற்குப் பதிலாகக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டதுமாகிய இரண்டும் பரிசுத்தமாகும்; அது மீட்கப்படக்கூடாதென்று அவர்களோடே சொல் என்றார்.

33. He may not make search to see if it is good or bad, or make any changes in it; and if he makes exchange of it for another, the two will be holy; he will not get them back again.

34. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்குச் சொல்லும்படி கர்த்தர் சீனாய்மலையில் மோசேக்கு விதித்த கட்டளைகள் இவைகளே.

34. These are the orders which the Lord gave to Moses for the children of Israel in Mount Sinai.
