1. பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

1. And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying:

2. நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடே சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: யாதாமொருவர் ஒரு விசேஷித்த பொருத்தனை பண்ணியிருந்தால், பொருத்தனை பண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள் உன் மதிப்பின்படி கர்த்தருக்கு உரியவர்கள்.

2. Speak unto the sons of Israel and thou shall say unto them When any man would consecrate and pay a vow by thine estimate of lives unto Yahweh,

3. இருபது வயதுமுதல் அறுபது வயதுக்கு உட்பட்ட ஆண்பிள்ளையை நீ பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தின் சேக்கலாகிய ஐம்பது வெள்ளிச்சேக்கலாகவும்,

3. then shall, thine estimate be for the male from twenty years of age even to sixty years of age, yea thine estimate shall be fifty shekels of silver by the shekel of the sanctuary;

4. பெண்பிள்ளையை முப்பது சேக்கலாகவும் மதிப்பாயாக.

4. but if it be, a female, then shall thine estimate be thirty shekels.

5. ஐந்து வயதுமுதல் இருபது வயதுக்கு உட்பட்ட ஆண்பிள்ளையை இருபது சேக்கலாகவும், பெண்பிள்ளையைப் பத்துச்சேக்கலாகவும்,

5. And, if it be from five years of age even unto twenty years of age, then shall thine estimate be for the male, twenty shekels, and, for the female, ten shekels.

6. ஒரு மாதம்முதல் ஐந்து வயதுக்கு உட்பட்ட ஆண்பிள்ளையை ஐந்து வெள்ளிச்சேக்கலாகவும், பெண்பிள்ளையை மூன்று வெள்ளிச்சேக்கலாகவும்,

6. And, if it he from a month old even unto five years old, then shall thine estimate be for the male, five shekels of silver, and, for the female, thine estimate shall be three shekels of silver.

7. அறுபது வயதுதொடங்கி, அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதுள்ள ஆண்பிள்ளையைப் பதினைந்து சேக்கலாகவும், பெண்பிள்ளையைப் பத்துச் சேக்கலாகவும் மதிக்கக்கடவாய்.

7. And if it be from sixty years of age and upwards, if a male, then shall thine estimate be fifteen shekels, and, for the female, ten shekels.

8. உன் மதிப்பின்படி செலுத்தக்கூடாத தரித்திரனாயிருந்தால், அவன் ஆசாரியனுக்கு முன்பாக வந்து நிற்கக்கடவன்; ஆசாரியன் அவனை மதிப்பானாக; பொருத்தனைபண்ணினவனுடைய திராணிக்கேற்றபடி ஆசாரியன் அவனை மதிக்கக்கடவன்.

8. But if he be, too poor, for thine estimate, then shall he present himself before the priest, and the priest shall estimate him, according to that which the hand of him who would vow can attain to, shall the priest estimate him.

9. ஒருவன் பொருத்தனைபண்ணினது கர்த்தருக்குப் பலியிடப்படத்தக்க மிருக ஜீவனானால் அவன் கர்த்தருக்குக் கொடுக்கிற அப்படிப்பட்டதெல்லாம் பரிசுத்தமாயிருப்பதாக.

9. And if it be a beast whereof men may bring near an oblation unto Yahweh, all that whereof aught is given to Yahweh, shall be holy.

10. அதை மாற்றாமலும் வேறுபடுத்தாமலும் இருப்பானாக; இளப்பமானதற்குப் பதிலாக நலமானதையும், நலமானதற்குப் பதிலாக இளப்பமானதையும் செலுத்தாமல் இருப்பானாக; அவன் மிருகத்திற்குப் பதிலாக மிருகத்தை மாற்றிக் கொடுப்பானாகில், அப்பொழுது அதுவும் அதற்குப் பதிலாகக் கொடுத்ததும் பரிசுத்தமாயிருப்பதாக.

10. He shall not alter it, nor change it good for bad or bad for good, but if he, do, change beast for beast, then shall, both it and what was given in exchange for it be holy.

11. அது கர்த்தருக்குப் பலியிடப்படத்தகாத சுத்தமல்லாத யாதொரு மிருகமானால், அதை ஆசாரியனுக்கு முன்பாக நிறுத்தக்கடவன்.

11. And, if it be any unclean beast whereof men may not bring near an oblation to Yahweh, then shall he present the beast before the priest:

12. ஆசாரியன் அது நல்லதானாலும் இளப்பமானதானாலும் அதை மதிப்பானாக; உன் மதிப்பின்படியே இருக்கக்கடவது.

12. and the priest shall estimate it, whether it is good or bad, according to thine estimate, O priest, so, shall it be.

13. அதை மீட்டுக்கொள்ள மனதாயிருந்தானாகில், உன் மதிப்போடே ஐந்தில் ஒரு பங்கைக் கூட்டிக் கொடுக்கக்கடவன்.

13. But if he should please to redeem, it, then shall he add the fifth part thereof unto thine estimate.

14. ஒருவன் தன் வீட்டைக் கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தம் என்று நேர்ந்துகொண்டால், ஆசாரியன் அதின் நலத்துக்கும் இளப்பத்துக்கும்தக்கதாக அதை மதிக்கக்கடவன்; ஆசாரியன் மதிக்கிறபடி அது இருக்கக்கடவது.

14. And, when, any man, would hallow his house to be holy unto Yahweh, then shall the priest estimate it, whether it is good or bad, as the priest shall estimate it, so, shall it stand.

15. தன் வீட்டைப் பரிசுத்தம் என்று நேர்ந்துகொண்டவன் அதை மீட்டுக்கொள்ள மனதாயிருந்தால், நீ மதிக்கும் திரவியத்தோடே ஐந்தில் ஒரு பங்கைக் கூட்டிக் கொடுக்கக்கடவன்; அப்பொழுது அது அவனுடையதாகும்.

15. But, if he that halloweth it, would redeem his house, then shall he add the fifth part of the silver of thine estimate thereunto and it shall be his.

16. ஒருவன் தன் காணியாட்சியான வயலில் யாதொரு பங்கைக் கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தம் என்று நேர்ந்துகொண்டால், உன் மதிப்பு அதின் விதைப்புக்குத்தக்கதாய் இருக்கவேண்டும்; ஒரு கலம் வாற்கோதுமை விதைக்கிற வயல் ஐம்பது வெள்ளிச் சேக்கலாக மதிக்கப்படவேண்டும்.

16. And if of the field of his possession any man would hallow unto Yahweh, then shall thine estimate be according to the seed thereof, the seed of a homer of barley, at fifty shekels of silver.

17. யூபிலி வருஷமுதல் அவன் தன் வயலைப் பரிசுத்தம் என்று நேர்ந்துகொண்டால், அது உன் மதிப்பின்படி இருக்கவேண்டும்.

17. If, from the year of jubilee, he would hallow his field, according to thine estimate, shall it stand.

18. யூபிலி வருஷத்துக்குப்பின் தன் வயலைப் பரிசுத்தம் என்று நேர்ந்துகொண்டானானால், யூபிலி வருஷம்மட்டுமுள்ள மற்ற வருஷங்களின்படியே ஆசாரியன் திரவியத்தைக் கணக்குப்பார்த்து, அதற்குத்தக்கது உன் மதிப்பிலே தள்ளப்படவேண்டும்.

18. But if after the jubilee he would hallow his field, then shall the priest reckon to him the silver, according to the years that remain, until the year of the jubilee, and it shall be abated from thine estimate.

19. வயலைப் பரிசுத்தம் என்று நேர்ந்துகொண்டவன் அதை மீட்டுக்கொள்ள மனதாயிருந்தால், உன் மதிப்பான திரவியத்தோடே ஐந்தில் ஒரு பங்கைக் கூட்டிக்கொடுக்கக்கடவன்; அப்பொழுது அது அவனுக்கு உறுதியாகும்.

19. But, if he that hath hallowed it should be pleased to redeem, the field, then shall he add the fifth part of the silver of thine estimate thereunto and it shall be assured to him.

20. அவன் வயலை மீட்டுக்கொள்ளாமல், வயலை வேறோருவனுக்கு விற்றுப்போட்டால், அது திரும்ப மீட்கப்படாமல்,

20. But if he will not redeem the field, but have sold the field to another man, it shall be redeemable no longer;

21. யூபிலி வருஷத்தில் மீட்கப்படும்போது, சாபத்தீடான வயலாகக் கர்த்தருக்கென்று நியமிக்கப்பட்டதாயிருக்கக்கடவது; அது ஆசாரியனுக்குக் காணியாட்சியாகும்.

21. so shall the field, when it goeth out in the jubilee, be holy unto Yahweh as a devoted, field, to the priest, shall belong the possession thereof.

22. ஒருவன் தனக்குக் காணியாட்சி வயலாயிராமல் தான் விலைக்கு வாங்கின ஒரு வயலைக் கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தம் என்று நேர்ந்துகொண்டால்,

22. If, however, a field that he hath bought, which is not of the fields of his possession, he would hallow unto Yahweh,

23. அது யூபிலி வருஷம்மட்டும், உன் மதிப்பின்படி பெறும்விலை இன்னதென்று ஆசாரியன் அவனோடே கணக்குப்பார்த்து, அந்த உன் மதிப்பை, கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தமாயிருக்கும்படி, அவன் அந்நாளிலே கொடுக்கக்கடவன்.

23. then shall the priest reckon to him the amount of thine estimate until the year of the jubilee, and he shall give thine estimate, in that day, as holy unto Yahweh.

24. யார் கையிலே அந்த வயலைக் கொண்டானோ, அந்தக் காணியாட்சிக்காரன் வசமாய் அது யூபிலி வருஷத்தில் திரும்பச்சேரும்.

24. In the year of the jubilee, shall the field return unto him from whom he bought it to him whose it was as a possession in the land.

25. உன் மதிப்பெல்லாம் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்துச் சேக்கல் கணக்காயிருக்கக்கடவது; ஒரு சேக்கலானது இருபது கேரா.

25. And, every estimate of thine, shall be by the holy shekel, twenty gerahs, make the shekel.

26. தலையீற்றானவைகள் கர்த்தருடையது, ஆகையால் ஒருவரும் தலையீற்றாகிய மிருகஜீவனைப் பரிசுத்தம் என்று நேர்ந்துகொள்ளலாகாது; அது மாடானாலும் ஆடானாலும் கர்த்தருடையது.

26. Only the firstling which is born a firstling to Yahweh, among beasts, no man shall hallow it, whether ox or sheep, unto Yahweh, it belongeth.

27. சுத்தமல்லாத மிருகத்தினுடைய தலையீற்றானால், அதை அவன் உன் மதிப்பின்படி மீட்டுக்கொண்டு, அதனுடனே ஐந்தில் ஒரு பங்கைக் கூட்டிக்கொடுக்கக்கடவன்; மீட்கப்படாமலிருந்தால், உன் மதிப்பின்படி அது விற்கப்படக்கடவது.

27. But, if it be among the beasts that are unclean, then shall he ransom it by thine estimate, and add the fifth part of it thereunto, but, if it is not redeemed, then shall it be sold by thine estimate.

28. ஒருவன் தன் வசத்திலுள்ள நரஜீவனிலாவது, மிருகஜீவனிலாவது, காணியாட்சி நிலத்திலாவது, எதையாகிலும் கர்த்தருக்கென்று சாபத்தீடாக நேர்ந்துகொண்டால், அது விற்கப்படவும் மீட்கப்படவும் கூடாது; நேர்ந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவைகளெல்லாம் கர்த்தருக்காகப் பரிசுத்தமாயிருக்கும்.

28. Only no devoted thing which any man shall devote unto Yahweh, of all that belongeth to him, of man or beast, or of the field of his possession, shall be either sold or redeemed, as to every devoted thing, most holy, it is unto Yahweh.

29. நரஜீவனில் சாபத்தீடாக நியமிக்கப்பட்டவைகளெல்லாம் மீட்கப்படாமல் கொலைசெய்யப்படக்கடவது.

29. As touching any one devoted, who may be devoted from among men he shall not be ransomed, he must be, surely put to death.

30. தேசத்திலே நிலத்தின் வித்திலும், விருட்சங்களின் கனியிலும், தசமபாகம் எல்லாம் கர்த்தருக்கு உரியது; அது கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தமானது.

30. And, as for all the tithe of the land whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the trees, unto Yahweh, it belongeth, as something holy unto Yahweh.

31. ஒருவன் தன் தசமபாகத்திலே எவ்வளவாவது மீட்டுக்கொள்ள மனதாயிருந்தானானால், அதனுடன் ஐந்தில் ஒரு பங்கைக் கூட்டிக் கொடுக்கக்கடவன்.

31. But, if any man should be pleased, to redeem, aught of his tithes, the fifth part thereof, shall he add thereunto.

32. கோலின் கீழ்ப்பட்ட ஆடுமாடுகளிலே பத்தில் ஒரு பங்காகிறதெல்லாம் கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தமானது.

32. And, as for all the tithe of herd and flock, all that passeth under the rod, the tenth, shall be holy unto Yahweh.

33. அது நல்லதோ இளப்பமானதோ என்று அவன் பார்க்கவேண்டாம்; அதை மாற்றவும் வேண்டாம்; மாற்றினால், அதுவும் அதற்குப் பதிலாகக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டதுமாகிய இரண்டும் பரிசுத்தமாகும்; அது மீட்கப்படக்கூடாதென்று அவர்களோடே சொல் என்றார்.

33. He shall not examine whether it be good or bad neither shall he change it, or, if he do in anywise change, it, then shall both, it and what is given in exchange for it, be holy, it shall not be redeemed.

34. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்குச் சொல்லும்படி கர்த்தர் சீனாய்மலையில் மோசேக்கு விதித்த கட்டளைகள் இவைகளே.

34. These are the commandments which Yahweh commanded Moses for the sons of Israel, in Mount Sinai.
