1. பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

1. And YHWH spake unto Moses, saying,

2. நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடே சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: யாதாமொருவர் ஒரு விசேஷித்த பொருத்தனை பண்ணியிருந்தால், பொருத்தனை பண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள் உன் மதிப்பின்படி கர்த்தருக்கு உரியவர்கள்.

2. Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons shall be for YHWH by thy estimation.

3. இருபது வயதுமுதல் அறுபது வயதுக்கு உட்பட்ட ஆண்பிள்ளையை நீ பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தின் சேக்கலாகிய ஐம்பது வெள்ளிச்சேக்கலாகவும்,

3. And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.

4. பெண்பிள்ளையை முப்பது சேக்கலாகவும் மதிப்பாயாக.

4. And if it be a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels.

5. ஐந்து வயதுமுதல் இருபது வயதுக்கு உட்பட்ட ஆண்பிள்ளையை இருபது சேக்கலாகவும், பெண்பிள்ளையைப் பத்துச்சேக்கலாகவும்,

5. And if it be from five years old even unto twenty years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

6. ஒரு மாதம்முதல் ஐந்து வயதுக்கு உட்பட்ட ஆண்பிள்ளையை ஐந்து வெள்ளிச்சேக்கலாகவும், பெண்பிள்ளையை மூன்று வெள்ளிச்சேக்கலாகவும்,

6. And if it be from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation shall be three shekels of silver.

7. அறுபது வயதுதொடங்கி, அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதுள்ள ஆண்பிள்ளையைப் பதினைந்து சேக்கலாகவும், பெண்பிள்ளையைப் பத்துச் சேக்கலாகவும் மதிக்கக்கடவாய்.

7. And if it be from sixty years old and above; if it be a male, then thy estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

8. உன் மதிப்பின்படி செலுத்தக்கூடாத தரித்திரனாயிருந்தால், அவன் ஆசாரியனுக்கு முன்பாக வந்து நிற்கக்கடவன்; ஆசாரியன் அவனை மதிப்பானாக; பொருத்தனைபண்ணினவனுடைய திராணிக்கேற்றபடி ஆசாரியன் அவனை மதிக்கக்கடவன்.

8. But if he be poorer than thy estimation, then he shall present himself before the priest, and the priest shall value him; according to his ability that vowed shall the priest value him.

9. ஒருவன் பொருத்தனைபண்ணினது கர்த்தருக்குப் பலியிடப்படத்தக்க மிருக ஜீவனானால் அவன் கர்த்தருக்குக் கொடுக்கிற அப்படிப்பட்டதெல்லாம் பரிசுத்தமாயிருப்பதாக.

9. And if it be a beast, whereof men bring an offering unto YHWH, all that any man giveth of such unto YHWH shall be holy.

10. அதை மாற்றாமலும் வேறுபடுத்தாமலும் இருப்பானாக; இளப்பமானதற்குப் பதிலாக நலமானதையும், நலமானதற்குப் பதிலாக இளப்பமானதையும் செலுத்தாமல் இருப்பானாக; அவன் மிருகத்திற்குப் பதிலாக மிருகத்தை மாற்றிக் கொடுப்பானாகில், அப்பொழுது அதுவும் அதற்குப் பதிலாகக் கொடுத்ததும் பரிசுத்தமாயிருப்பதாக.

10. He shall not alter it, nor change it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good: and if he shall at all change beast for beast, then it and the exchange thereof shall be holy.

11. அது கர்த்தருக்குப் பலியிடப்படத்தகாத சுத்தமல்லாத யாதொரு மிருகமானால், அதை ஆசாரியனுக்கு முன்பாக நிறுத்தக்கடவன்.

11. And if it be any unclean beast, of which they do not offer a sacrifice unto YHWH, then he shall present the beast before the priest:

12. ஆசாரியன் அது நல்லதானாலும் இளப்பமானதானாலும் அதை மதிப்பானாக; உன் மதிப்பின்படியே இருக்கக்கடவது.

12. And the priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad: as thou valuest it, who art the priest, so shall it be.

13. அதை மீட்டுக்கொள்ள மனதாயிருந்தானாகில், உன் மதிப்போடே ஐந்தில் ஒரு பங்கைக் கூட்டிக் கொடுக்கக்கடவன்.

13. But if he will at all redeem it, then he shall add a fifth part thereof unto thy estimation.

14. ஒருவன் தன் வீட்டைக் கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தம் என்று நேர்ந்துகொண்டால், ஆசாரியன் அதின் நலத்துக்கும் இளப்பத்துக்கும்தக்கதாக அதை மதிக்கக்கடவன்; ஆசாரியன் மதிக்கிறபடி அது இருக்கக்கடவது.

14. And when a man shall sanctify his house to be holy unto YHWH, then the priest shall estimate it, whether it be good or bad: as the priest shall estimate it, so shall it stand.

15. தன் வீட்டைப் பரிசுத்தம் என்று நேர்ந்துகொண்டவன் அதை மீட்டுக்கொள்ள மனதாயிருந்தால், நீ மதிக்கும் திரவியத்தோடே ஐந்தில் ஒரு பங்கைக் கூட்டிக் கொடுக்கக்கடவன்; அப்பொழுது அது அவனுடையதாகும்.

15. And if he that sanctified it will redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be his.

16. ஒருவன் தன் காணியாட்சியான வயலில் யாதொரு பங்கைக் கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தம் என்று நேர்ந்துகொண்டால், உன் மதிப்பு அதின் விதைப்புக்குத்தக்கதாய் இருக்கவேண்டும்; ஒரு கலம் வாற்கோதுமை விதைக்கிற வயல் ஐம்பது வெள்ளிச் சேக்கலாக மதிக்கப்படவேண்டும்.

16. And if a man shall sanctify unto YHWH some part of a field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the seed thereof: an homer of barley seed shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver.

17. யூபிலி வருஷமுதல் அவன் தன் வயலைப் பரிசுத்தம் என்று நேர்ந்துகொண்டால், அது உன் மதிப்பின்படி இருக்கவேண்டும்.

17. If he sanctify his field from the year of jubile, according to thy estimation it shall stand.

18. யூபிலி வருஷத்துக்குப்பின் தன் வயலைப் பரிசுத்தம் என்று நேர்ந்துகொண்டானானால், யூபிலி வருஷம்மட்டுமுள்ள மற்ற வருஷங்களின்படியே ஆசாரியன் திரவியத்தைக் கணக்குப்பார்த்து, அதற்குத்தக்கது உன் மதிப்பிலே தள்ளப்படவேண்டும்.

18. But if he sanctify his field after the jubile, then the priest shall reckon unto him the money according to the years that remain, even unto the year of the jubile, and it shall be abated from thy estimation.

19. வயலைப் பரிசுத்தம் என்று நேர்ந்துகொண்டவன் அதை மீட்டுக்கொள்ள மனதாயிருந்தால், உன் மதிப்பான திரவியத்தோடே ஐந்தில் ஒரு பங்கைக் கூட்டிக்கொடுக்கக்கடவன்; அப்பொழுது அது அவனுக்கு உறுதியாகும்.

19. And if he that sanctified the field will in any wise redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be assured to him.

20. அவன் வயலை மீட்டுக்கொள்ளாமல், வயலை வேறோருவனுக்கு விற்றுப்போட்டால், அது திரும்ப மீட்கப்படாமல்,

20. And if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more.

21. யூபிலி வருஷத்தில் மீட்கப்படும்போது, சாபத்தீடான வயலாகக் கர்த்தருக்கென்று நியமிக்கப்பட்டதாயிருக்கக்கடவது; அது ஆசாரியனுக்குக் காணியாட்சியாகும்.

21. But the field, when it goeth out in the jubile, shall be holy unto YHWH, as a field devoted; the possession thereof shall be the priests.

22. ஒருவன் தனக்குக் காணியாட்சி வயலாயிராமல் தான் விலைக்கு வாங்கின ஒரு வயலைக் கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தம் என்று நேர்ந்துகொண்டால்,

22. And if a man sanctify unto YHWH a field which he hath bought, which is not of the fields of his possession;

23. அது யூபிலி வருஷம்மட்டும், உன் மதிப்பின்படி பெறும்விலை இன்னதென்று ஆசாரியன் அவனோடே கணக்குப்பார்த்து, அந்த உன் மதிப்பை, கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தமாயிருக்கும்படி, அவன் அந்நாளிலே கொடுக்கக்கடவன்.

23. Then the priest shall reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation, even unto the year of the jubile: and he shall give thine estimation in that day, as a holy thing unto YHWH.

24. யார் கையிலே அந்த வயலைக் கொண்டானோ, அந்தக் காணியாட்சிக்காரன் வசமாய் அது யூபிலி வருஷத்தில் திரும்பச்சேரும்.

24. In the year of the jubile the field shall return unto him of whom it was bought, even to him to whom the possession of the land did belong.

25. உன் மதிப்பெல்லாம் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்துச் சேக்கல் கணக்காயிருக்கக்கடவது; ஒரு சேக்கலானது இருபது கேரா.

25. And all thy estimations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs shall be the shekel.

26. தலையீற்றானவைகள் கர்த்தருடையது, ஆகையால் ஒருவரும் தலையீற்றாகிய மிருகஜீவனைப் பரிசுத்தம் என்று நேர்ந்துகொள்ளலாகாது; அது மாடானாலும் ஆடானாலும் கர்த்தருடையது.

26. Only the firstling of the beasts, which should be YHWHs firstling, no man shall sanctify it; whether it be ox, or sheep: it is YHWHs.

27. சுத்தமல்லாத மிருகத்தினுடைய தலையீற்றானால், அதை அவன் உன் மதிப்பின்படி மீட்டுக்கொண்டு, அதனுடனே ஐந்தில் ஒரு பங்கைக் கூட்டிக்கொடுக்கக்கடவன்; மீட்கப்படாமலிருந்தால், உன் மதிப்பின்படி அது விற்கப்படக்கடவது.

27. And if it be of an unclean beast, then he shall redeem it according to thine estimation, and shall add a fifth part of it thereto: or if it be not redeemed, then it shall be sold according to thy estimation.

28. ஒருவன் தன் வசத்திலுள்ள நரஜீவனிலாவது, மிருகஜீவனிலாவது, காணியாட்சி நிலத்திலாவது, எதையாகிலும் கர்த்தருக்கென்று சாபத்தீடாக நேர்ந்துகொண்டால், அது விற்கப்படவும் மீட்கப்படவும் கூடாது; நேர்ந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவைகளெல்லாம் கர்த்தருக்காகப் பரிசுத்தமாயிருக்கும்.

28. Notwithstanding no devoted thing, that a man shall devote unto YHWH of all that he hath, both of man and beast, and of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing is most holy unto YHWH.

29. நரஜீவனில் சாபத்தீடாக நியமிக்கப்பட்டவைகளெல்லாம் மீட்கப்படாமல் கொலைசெய்யப்படக்கடவது.

29. None devoted, which shall be devoted of men, shall be redeemed; but shall surely be put to death.

30. தேசத்திலே நிலத்தின் வித்திலும், விருட்சங்களின் கனியிலும், தசமபாகம் எல்லாம் கர்த்தருக்கு உரியது; அது கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தமானது.

30. And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is YHWHs: it is holy unto YHWH.

31. ஒருவன் தன் தசமபாகத்திலே எவ்வளவாவது மீட்டுக்கொள்ள மனதாயிருந்தானானால், அதனுடன் ஐந்தில் ஒரு பங்கைக் கூட்டிக் கொடுக்கக்கடவன்.

31. And if a man will at all redeem ought of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth part thereof.

32. கோலின் கீழ்ப்பட்ட ஆடுமாடுகளிலே பத்தில் ஒரு பங்காகிறதெல்லாம் கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தமானது.

32. And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto YHWH.

33. அது நல்லதோ இளப்பமானதோ என்று அவன் பார்க்கவேண்டாம்; அதை மாற்றவும் வேண்டாம்; மாற்றினால், அதுவும் அதற்குப் பதிலாகக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டதுமாகிய இரண்டும் பரிசுத்தமாகும்; அது மீட்கப்படக்கூடாதென்று அவர்களோடே சொல் என்றார்.

33. He shall not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: and if he change it at all, then both it and the change thereof shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.

34. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்குச் சொல்லும்படி கர்த்தர் சீனாய்மலையில் மோசேக்கு விதித்த கட்டளைகள் இவைகளே.

34. These are the commandments, which YHWH commanded Moses for the children of Israel in mount Sinai.
