1. நீதிமான்களே, கர்த்தருக்குள் களிகூருங்கள்; துதிசெய்வது செம்மையானவர்களுக்குத் தகும்.

1. Reioyce in God O ye righteous: for prayse becommeth well the iust.

2. சுரமண்டலத்தினால் கர்த்தரைத் துதித்து, பத்து நரம்பு வீணையினாலும் அவரைக் கீர்த்தனம் பண்ணுங்கள்.
எபேசியர் 5:19

2. Confesse [it] to god with the harpe: sing psalmes vnto hym with the viall, and with the instrument of ten stringes.

3. அவருக்குப் புதுப்பாட்டைப் பாடுங்கள்; ஆனந்த சத்தத்தோடே வாத்தியங்களை நேர்த்தியாய் வாசியுங்கள்.

3. Sing vnto him a new song: do it cunningly, make a sweete noyse with your musicall instrumentes alowde.

4. கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை உத்தமமும், அவருடைய செய்கையெல்லாம் சத்தியமுமாயிருக்கிறது.

4. For the word of God is right: and euery worke of his done in fayth.

5. அவர் நீதியிலும் நியாயத்திலும் பிரியப்படுகிறார்; பூமி கர்த்தருடைய காருணியத்தினால் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது.

5. He loueth righteousnes & iudgement: the earth is ful of the goodnes of God.

6. கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையினால் வானங்களும், அவருடைய வாயின் சுவாசத்தினால் அவைகளின் சர்வசேனையும் உண்டாக்கப்பட்டது.

6. By the worde of God are the heauens made: and all the hoastes of them by the breath of his mouth.

7. அவர் சமுத்திர ஜலங்களைக் குவியலாகச் சேர்த்து, ஆழமான ஜலங்களைப் பொக்கிஷவைப்பாக வைக்கிறார்.

7. He gathereth the waters of the sea together as it were vpon an heape: and layeth vp the deepe as treasures.

8. பூமியெல்லாம் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுவதாக; உலகத்திலுள்ள குடிகளெல்லாம் அவருக்கு அஞ்சியிருப்பதாக.

8. Let all the earth feare God: let all they that dwell in the worlde stande in awe of him.

9. அவர் சொல்ல ஆகும், அவர் கட்டளையிட நிற்கும்.

9. For he spake and it was: he commauded, and it was brought to passe.

10. கர்த்தர் ஜாதிகளின் ஆலோசனையை விருதாவாக்கி, ஜனங்களுடைய நினைவுகளை அவமாக்குகிறார்.

10. God bringeth the counsell of the Heathen to naught: and maketh the deuises of the people to be of none effect.

11. கர்த்தருடைய ஆலோசனை நித்தியகாலமாகவும், அவருடைய இருதயத்தின் நினைவுகள் தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாகவும் நிற்கும்.

11. The counsayle of God shall endure for euer: and the thoughtes of his heart from generation to generation.

12. கர்த்தரைத் தங்களுக்குத் தெய்வமாகக்கொண்ட ஜாதியும், அவர் தமக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகத் தெரிந்துகொண்ட ஜனமும் பாக்கியமுள்ளது.

12. Blessed is the nation that hath God to be their Lorde: that people hath he chosen to be an inheritaunce for him.

13. கர்த்தர் வானத்திலிருந்து நோக்கிப்பார்த்து, எல்லா மனுபுத்திரரையும் காண்கிறார்.

13. God looketh downe from heauen, and beholdeth all the chyldren of men

14. தாம் வாசமாயிருக்கிற ஸ்தானத்திலிருந்து பூமியின் குடிகள் எல்லார்மேலும் கண்ணோக்கமாயிருக்கிறார்.

14. (33:13) from the place where he resteth: he eyeth diligently euery dweller on the earth.

15. அவர்களுடைய இருதயங்களையெல்லாம் அவர் உருவாக்கி, அவர்கள் செய்கைகளையெல்லாம் கவனித்திருக்கிறார்.

15. (33:14) He fashioneth their heartes together: he vnderstandeth al their workes.

16. எந்த ராஜாவும் தன் சேனையின் மிகுதியால் இரட்சிக்கப்படான்; சவுரியவானும் தன் பலத்தின் மிகுதியால் தப்பான்.

16. (33:15) A king is not saued by the multitude of an hoast: a man of great myght escapeth not by much strength.

17. இரட்சிக்கிறதற்குக் குதிரை விருதா; அது தன் மிகுந்த வீரியத்தால் தப்புவியாது.

17. (33:16) A horse for to saue is vanitie: and he can deliuer none by his great strength.

18. தமக்குப் பயந்து, தமது கிருபைக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்களின் ஆத்துமாக்களை மரணத்திற்கு விலக்கி விடுவிக்கவும்;

18. (33:17) Beholde, the eye of God is vpon them that feare hym: and vpon them that wayteth after his mercy.

19. பஞ்சத்தில் அவர்களை உயிரோடே காக்கவும், கர்த்தருடைய கண் அவர்கள்மேல் நோக்கமாயிருக்கிறது.

19. (33:18) To deliuer their soules from death: and to preserue their liues in dearth.

20. நம்முடைய ஆத்துமா கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறது; அவரே நமக்குத் துணையும் நமக்குக் கேடகமுமானவர்.

20. (33:19) Our soule wayteth after God: he is our ayde and shielde.

21. அவருடைய பரிசுத்த நாமத்தை நாம் நம்பியிருக்கிறபடியால், நம்முடைய இருதயம் அவருக்குள் களிகூரும்.

21. (33:20) For our heart shall reioyce in him: because we haue put our trust in his holy name.

22. கர்த்தாவே, நாங்கள் உம்மை நம்பியிருக்கிறபடியே உமது கிருபை எங்கள்மேல் இருப்பதாக.

22. (33:21) Let thy louing kindnes O God be vppon vs: like as we haue put our trust in thee.
