1. இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவினுடைய ஊழியக்காரனும், யாக்கோபினுடைய சகோதரனுமாயிருக்கிற யூதா, பிதாவாகிய தேவனாலே பரிசுத்தமாக்கப்பட்டவர்களும், இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவினாலே காக்கப்பட்டவர்களுமாகிய அழைக்கப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு எழுதுகிறதாவது:

1. Jude, a slave of Jesus Christ and brother of James, to those who are called, beloved in God the Father and kept safe for Jesus Christ:

2. may mercy, peace, and love be yours in abundance.

17. But you, beloved, remember the words spoken beforehand by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ,

18. கடைசிக்காலத்திலே தங்கள் துன்மார்க்கமான இச்சைகளின்படி நடக்கிற பரியாசக்காரர் தோன்றுவார்கள் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொன்னார்களே.

18. for they told you, 'In (the) last time there will be scoffers who will live according to their own godless desires.'

19. இவர்கள் பிரிந்துபோகிறவர்களும், ஜென்மசுபாவத்தாரும், ஆவியில்லாதவர்களுமாமே.

19. These are the ones who cause divisions; they live on the natural plane, devoid of the Spirit.

20. நீங்களோ பிரியமானவர்களே, உங்கள் மகா பரிசுத்தமான விசுவாசத்தின்மேல் உங்களை உறுதிப்படுத்திக்கொண்டு, பரிசுத்த ஆவிக்குள் ஜெபம்பண்ணி,

20. But you, beloved, build yourselves up in your most holy faith; pray in the holy Spirit.

21. தேவனுடைய அன்பிலே உங்களைக் காத்துக்கொண்டு, நித்தியஜீவனுக்கேதுவாக நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவினுடைய இரக்கத்தைப்பெறக் காத்திருங்கள்.

21. Keep yourselves in the love of God and wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.

22. அல்லாமலும், நீங்கள் பகுத்தறிவுள்ளவர்களாயிருந்து, சிலருக்கு இரக்கம்பாராட்டி, சிலரை அக்கினியிலிருந்து இழுத்துவிட்டு, பயத்தோடே இரட்சித்து,

22. On those who waver, have mercy;

23. மாம்சத்தால் கறைப்பட்டிருக்கிற வஸ்திரத்தையும் வெறுத்துத் தள்ளுங்கள்.

23. save others by snatching them out of the fire; on others have mercy with fear, abhorring even the outer garment stained by the flesh.

24. To the one who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you unblemished and exultant, in the presence of his glory,

25. தாம் ஒருவரே ஞானமுள்ளவருமாகிய நம்முடைய இரட்சகரான தேவனுக்குக் கனமும் மகத்துவமும் வல்லமையும் அதிகாரமும் இப்பொழுதும் எப்பொழுதும் உண்டாவதாக. ஆமென்.

25. to the only God, our savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord be glory, majesty, power, and authority from ages past, now, and for ages to come. Amen.
