1. கர்த்தர் சீனாய்மலையில் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

1. And Yahweh spoke to Moses in mount Sinai, saying,

2. நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடே சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: நான் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கும் தேசத்திலே நீங்கள் போய்ச் சேர்ந்திருக்கும்போது, தேசம் கர்த்தருக்கென்று ஓய்வு கொண்டாடவேண்டும்.

2. Speak to the sons of Israel, and say to them, When you+ come into the land which I give you+, then the land will keep a Sabbath to Yahweh.

3. ஆறுவருஷம் உன் வயலை விதைத்து, உன் திராட்சத்தோட்டத்தைக் கிளைகழித்து, அதின் பலனைச் சேர்ப்பாயாக.

3. Six years you will sow your field, and six years you will prune your vineyard, and gather in its fruits;

4. ஏழாம் வருஷத்திலோ, கர்த்தருக்கென்று ஓய்ந்திருக்கும் ஓய்வு தேசத்திற்கு இருக்கவேண்டும்; அதில் உன் வயலை விதைக்காமலும், உன் திராட்சத்தோட்டத்தைக் கிளைகழிக்காமலும்,

4. but in the seventh year will be a Sabbath of solemn rest for the land, a Sabbath to Yahweh: you will neither sow your field, nor prune your vineyard.

5. தானாய் விளைந்து பயிரானதை அறுக்காமலும், கிளைகழிக்காதே விட்ட திராட்சச்செடியின் பழங்களைச் சேர்க்காமலும் இருப்பாயாக; தேசத்துக்கு அது ஓய்வு வருஷமாயிருக்கக்கடவது.

5. That which grows of itself of your harvest you will not reap, and the grapes of your undressed vine you will not gather: it will be a year of solemn rest for the land.

6. தேசத்தின் ஓய்விலே பயிராகிறது உங்களுக்கு ஆகாரமாயிருப்பதாக; உன் வேலைக்காரனுக்கும், உன் வேலைக்காரிக்கும், உன் கூலிக்காரனுக்கும், உன்னிடத்தில் தங்குகிற அந்நியனுக்கும்,

6. And the Sabbath of the land will be for food for you+; for you, and for your male slave and for your female slave, and for your hired worker and for your stranger, who sojourn with you.

7. உன் நாட்டு மிருகத்துக்கும், உன் தேசத்தில் இருக்கிற காட்டு மிருகத்துக்கும் அதில் விளைந்திருப்பதெல்லாம் ஆகாரமாயிருப்பதாக.

7. And for your cattle, and for the beasts that are in your land, will all its increase be for food.

8. அன்றியும், ஏழு ஓய்வு வருஷங்களுள்ள ஏழு ஏழு வருஷங்களை எண்ணுவாயாக; அந்த ஏழு ஓய்வு வருஷங்களும் நாற்பத்தொன்பது வருஷமாகும்.

8. And you will number seven Sabbaths of years to yourself, seven times seven years; and there will be to you the days of seven Sabbaths of years, even forty and nine years.

9. அப்பொழுதும் ஏழாம் மாதம் பத்தாந்தேதியில் எக்காளச்சத்தம் தொனிக்கும்படி செய்யவேண்டும்; பாவநிவாரணநாளில் உங்கள் தேசமெங்கும் எக்காளச்சத்தம் தொனிக்கும்படி செய்யவேண்டும்.

9. Then you will send abroad the loud trumpet on the tenth day of the seventh month; in the day of atonement you+ will send abroad the trumpet throughout all your+ land.

10. ஐம்பதாம் வருஷத்தைப் பரிசுத்தமாக்கி, தேசமெங்கும் அதின் குடிகளுக்கெல்லாம் விடுதலை கூறக்கடவீர்கள்; அது உங்களுக்கு யூபிலி வருஷம்; அதிலே உங்களில் ஒவ்வொருவனும் தன்தன் காணியாட்சிக்கும் தன் தன் குடும்பத்துக்கும் திரும்பிப் போகக்கடவன்.

10. And you+ will hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants: it will be a jubilee to you+; and you+ will return every man to his possession, and you+ will return every man to his family.

11. அந்த ஐம்பதாம் வருஷம் உங்களுக்கு யூபிலி வருஷமாயிருப்பதாக; அதிலே விதைக்காமலும், தானாய் விளைந்து பயிரானதை அறுக்காமலும், கிளைகழிக்காமல் விடப்பட்ட திராட்சச்செடியின் பழங்களைச் சேர்க்காமலும் இருப்பீர்களாக.

11. A jubilee will that fiftieth year be to you+: you+ will not sow, neither reap that which grows of itself in it, nor gather [the grapes] in it of the undressed vines.

12. அது யூபிலி வருஷம்; அது உங்களுக்குப் பரிசுத்தமாயிருக்கவேண்டும்; அந்த வருஷத்தில் வயல்வெளியில் விளைந்தவைகளை நீங்கள் புசிக்கவேண்டும்.

12. For it is a jubilee; it will be holy to you+: you+ will eat its increase out of the field.

13. அந்த யூபிலி வருஷத்தில் உங்களில் அவனவன் தன்தன் காணியாட்சிக்குத் திரும்பிப்போகக்கடவன்.

13. In this year of jubilee you+ will return every man to his possession.

14. ஆகையால், பிறனுக்கு எதையாவது விற்றாலும், அவனிடத்தில் எதையாவது கொண்டாலும் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் அநியாயம் செய்யக்கூடாது.

14. And if you+ sell anything to your associate, or buy from your associate, you+ will not wrong one another.

15. யூபிலி வருஷத்துக்குப் பின்வரும் வருஷங்களின் தொகைக்கேற்கப் பிறனிடத்தில் கொள்ளுவாயாக; பலனுள்ள வருஷங்களின் தொகைக்கேற்க அவன் உனக்கு விற்பானாக.

15. According to the number of years after the jubilee you will buy of your associate, [and] according to the number of years of the crops he will sell to you.

16. பலனுள்ள வருஷங்களின் இலக்கத்தைப் பார்த்து அவன் உனக்கு விற்கிறபடியால், வருஷங்களின் தொகை ஏறினால் விலையேறவும், வருஷங்களின் தொகை குறைந்தால், விலை குறையவும் வேண்டும்.

16. According to the multitude of the years you will increase its price, and according to the fewness of the years you will diminish the price of it; for the number of the crops he sells to you.

17. உங்களில் ஒருவனும் பிறனுக்கு அநியாயம் செய்யக்கூடாது; உன் தேவனுக்குப் பயப்படவேண்டும்; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்.

17. And you+ will not wrong, a man and his associate; but you will fear your God: for I am Yahweh your+ God.

18. என் கட்டளைகளின்படி செய்து, என் நியாயங்களைக் கைக்கொண்டு அவைகளின்படி நடக்கக்கடவீர்கள்; அப்பொழுது தேசத்திலே சுகமாய்க் குடியிருப்பீர்கள்.

18. Therefore you+ will do my statutes, and keep my ordinances and do them; and you+ will dwell in the land in safety.

19. பூமி தன் கனியைத் தரும்; நீங்கள் திருப்தியாகச் சாப்பிட்டு, அதில் சுகமாய்க் குடியிருப்பீர்கள்.

19. And the land will yield its fruit, and you+ will eat your+ fill, and dwell in it in safety.

20. ஏழாம் வருஷத்தில் எதைப் புசிப்போம்? நாங்கள் விதைக்காமலும், விளைந்ததைச் சேர்க்காமலும் இருக்கவேண்டுமே! என்று சொல்வீர்களானால்,

20. And if you+ will say, What shall we eat the seventh year? Look, we will not sow, nor gather in our increase;

21. நான் ஆறாம் வருஷத்தில் உங்களுக்கு ஆசீர்வாதத்தை அநுக்கிரகம்பண்ணுவேன்; அது உங்களுக்கு மூன்று வருஷத்தின் பலனைத் தரும்.

21. then I will command my blessing on you+ in the sixth year, and it will bring forth fruit for the three years.

22. நீங்கள் எட்டாம் வருஷத்திலே விதைத்து, ஒன்பதாம் வருஷம்மட்டும் பழைய பலனிலே சாப்பிடுவீர்கள்; அதின் பலன் விளையும்வரைக்கும் பழைய பலனைச் சாப்பிடுவீர்கள்.

22. And you+ will sow the eighth year, and eat of the fruits, the old store; until the ninth year, until its fruits come in, you+ will eat the old store.

23. தேசம் என்னுடையதாயிருக்கிறபடியால், நீங்கள் நிலங்களை அறுதியாய் விற்கவேண்டாம்; நீங்கள் பரதேசிகளும் என்னிடத்தில் புறக்குடிகளுமாயிருக்கிறீர்கள்.

23. And the land will not be sold in perpetuity; for the land is mine: for you+ are strangers and sojourners with me.

24. உங்கள் காணியாட்சியான தேசமெங்கும் நிலங்களை மீட்டுக்கொள்ள இடங்கொடுக்கக்கடவீர்கள்.

24. And in all the land of your+ possession you+ will grant a redemption for the land.

25. உங்கள் சகோதரன் தரித்திரப்பட்டு, தன் காணியாட்சியிலே சிலதை விற்றால், அவன் இனத்தான் ஒருவன் வந்து, தன் சகோதரன் விற்றதை மீட்கக்கடவன்.

25. If your brother is waxed poor, and sells some of his possession, then his kinsman who is next to him will come, and will redeem that which his brother has sold.

26. அதை மீட்க ஒருவனும் இல்லாமல், தானே அதை மீட்கத்தக்கவனானால்,

26. And if a man has no one to redeem it, and he is waxed rich and finds enough to redeem it;

27. அதை விற்றபின் சென்ற வருஷங்களின் தொகையைத் தள்ளி, மீந்த தொகையை ஏற்றி, கொண்டவனுக்குக் கொடுத்து, அவன் தன் காணியாட்சிக்குத் திரும்பிப்போகக்கடவன்.

27. then let him reckon the years of its sale, and restore the surplus to the man to whom he sold it; and he will return to his possession.

28. அப்படிக் கொடுப்பதற்கான நிர்வாகம் அவனுக்கு இல்லாவிட்டால், அவன் விற்றது வாங்கினவன் கையிலே யூபிலி வருஷம்மட்டும் இருந்து, யூபிலி வருஷத்திலே அது விடுதலையாகும்; அப்பொழுது அவன் தன் காணியாட்சிக்குத் திரும்பப்போவான்.

28. But if he is not able to get it back for himself, then that which he has sold will remain in the hand of him who has bought it until the year of jubilee: and in the jubilee it will go out, and he will return to his possession.

29. ஒருவன் மதில்சூழ்ந்த பட்டணத்திலுள்ள தன் வாசஸ்தலமாகிய வீட்டை விற்றால், அதை விற்ற ஒரு வருஷத்துக்குள் அதை மீட்டுக்கொள்ளலாம்; ஒரு வருஷத்துக்குள்ளாகவே அதை மீட்டுக்கொள்ளவேண்டும்.

29. And if a man sells a dwelling-house in a walled city, then he may redeem it within a whole year after it is sold; for a full year he will have the right of redemption.

30. ஒரு வருஷத்துக்குள்ளே அதை மீட்டுக்கொள்ளாதிருந்தால், மதில்சூழ்ந்த பட்டணத்திலுள்ள அந்த வீடு தலைமுறைதோறும் அதை வாங்கினவனுக்கே உரியதாகும்; யூபிலி வருஷத்திலும் அது விடுதலையாகாது.

30. And if it is not redeemed within the space of a full year, then the house that is in the walled city will be made sure in perpetuity to him who bought it, throughout his generations: it will not go out in the jubilee.

31. மதில்சூழப்படாத கிராமங்களிலுள்ள வீடுகளோ, தேசத்தின் நிலங்கள்போலவே எண்ணப்படும்; அவைகள் மீட்கப்படலாம்; யூபிலி வருஷத்தில் அவைகள் விடுதலையாகும்.

31. But the houses of the villages which have no wall round about them will be reckoned with the fields of the country: they may be redeemed, and they will go out in the jubilee.

32. லேவியரின் காணியாட்சியாகிய பட்டணங்களிலுள்ள வீடுகளையோ லேவியர் எக்காலத்திலும் மீட்டுக்கொள்ளலாம்.

32. Nevertheless the cities of the Levites, the houses of the cities of their possession, the Levites may redeem at any time.

33. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்குள்ளே லேவியருடைய பட்டணங்களிலுள்ள வீடுகள் அவர்களுக்குரிய காணியாட்சியானபடியால், லேவியரிடத்தில் அவனுடைய காணியாட்சிப் பட்டணத்திலுள்ள வீட்டை ஒருவன் வாங்கினால், விற்கப்பட்ட அந்த வீடு யூபிலி வருஷத்தில் விடுதலையாகும்.

33. And when one of the Levites redeems, the house that was sold, in the the city of his possession, will go out in the jubilee; for the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession among the sons of Israel.

34. அவர்கள் பட்டணங்களைச் சூழ்ந்த வெளிநிலம் விற்கப்படலாகாது; அது அவர்களுக்கு நித்திய காணியாட்சியாயிருக்கும்.

34. But the field of the suburbs of their cities may not be sold; for it is their perpetual possession.

35. உன் சகோதரன் தரித்திரப்பட்டு, கையிளைத்துப்போனவனானால் அவனை ஆதரிக்கவேண்டும்; பரதேசியைப்போலும் தங்கவந்தவனைப்போலும் அவன் உன்னோடே பிழைப்பானாக.

35. And if your brother is waxed poor, and his hand fails with you; then you will uphold him: [as] a stranger [who is a] sojourner he will live with you.

36. நீ அவன் கையில் வட்டியாவது பொலிசையாவது வாங்காமல், உன் தேவனுக்குப் பயந்து, உன் சகோதரன் உன்னோடே பிழைக்கும்படி செய்வாயாக.

36. Take no interest of him or increase, but fear your God; that your brother may live with you.

37. அவனுக்கு உன் பணத்தை வட்டிக்கும், உன் தானியத்தைப் பொலிசைக்கும் கொடாயாக.

37. You will not give him your money on interest, nor give him your victuals for increase.

38. உங்களுக்குக் கானான் தேசத்தைக் கொடுத்து, உங்களுக்கு தேவனாயிருக்கும்படி, உங்களை எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணின உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நானே.

38. I am Yahweh your+ God, who brought you+ forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you+ the land of Canaan, [and] to be your+ God.

39. உன் சகோதரன் தரித்திரனாகி, உனக்கு விலைப்பட்டுப்போனால், அவனை அடிமையைப்போல ஊழியஞ்செய்ய நெருக்கவேண்டாம்.

39. And if your brother is waxed poor with you, and sells himself to you; you will not make him to serve as a slave.

40. அவன் கூலிக்காரனைப்போலவும் தங்கவந்தவனைப்போலவும் உன்னோடே இருந்து, யூபிலி வருஷம்மட்டும் உன்னிடத்தில் சேவிக்கக்கடவன்.

40. As a hired worker, and as a sojourner, he will be with you; he will serve with you to the year of jubilee:

41. பின்பு, தன் பிள்ளைகளோடுங்கூட உன்னை விட்டு நீங்கலாகி, தன் குடும்பத்தாரிடத்துக்கும் தன் பிதாக்களின் காணியாட்சிக்கும் திரும்பிப்போகக்கடவன்.

41. and then he will go out from you, he and his sons with him, and then will return to his own family, and to the possession of his fathers he will return.

42. அவர்கள் நான் எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணின என்னுடைய ஊழியக்காரர்; ஆகையால், அவர்கள் அடிமைகளாக விற்கப்படலாகாது.

42. For they are my slaves, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: they will not be sold as a slave.

43. நீ அவனைக் கொடூரமாய் ஆளாமல், உன் தேவனுக்குப் பயந்திரு.
கொலோசெயர் 4:1

43. You will not rule over him with rigor, but will fear your God.

44. உனக்கு இருக்கும் ஆண் அடிமையும் பெண் அடிமையும் சுற்றிலும் இருக்கிற புறஜாதிகளாயிருக்கவேண்டும்; அவர்களில் நீ ஆண் அடிமையையும் பெண் அடிமையையும் விலைக்கு வாங்கலாம்.

44. And as for your male slave, and your female slave, whom you will have; of the nations that are round about you+, of them you+ will buy a male slave and a female slave.

45. உங்களிடத்திலே பரதேசிகளாய்த் தங்குகிற அந்நிய புத்திரரிலும், உங்கள் தேசத்தில் உங்களிடத்திலே பிறந்திருக்கிற அவர்களுடைய குடும்பத்தாரிலும் நீங்கள் உங்களுக்கு அடிமைகளைக்கொண்டு, அவர்களை உங்களுக்குச் சுதந்தரமாக்கலாம்.

45. Moreover of the sons of the strangers who sojourn among you+, of them you+ will buy, and of their families who are with you+, which they have begotten in your+ land: and they will be your+ possession.

46. அவர்களை உங்களுக்குப் பின்வரும் உங்கள் சந்ததியாரும் சுதந்தரிக்கும்படி நீங்கள் அவர்களைச் சுதந்தரமாக்கிக்கொள்ளலாம்; என்றைக்கும் அவர்கள் உங்களுக்கு அடிமைகளாயிருக்கலாம்; உங்கள் சகோதரராகிய இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோ ஒருவரையொருவர் கொடூரமாக ஆளக்கூடாது.

46. And you+ will make them an inheritance for your+ sons after you+, to hold for a possession; of them you+ will take your+ slaves forever: but over your+ brothers the sons of Israel you+ will not rule, one over another, with rigor.

47. உன்னிடத்தில் இருக்கிற பரதேசியும் அந்நியனும் செல்வனாயிருக்க, அவனிடத்தில் இருக்கிற உன் சகோதரன் தரித்திரப்பட்டு, அந்தப் பரதேசிக்காவது, அந்நியனுக்காவது, பரதேசியின் குடும்பத்தாரில் எவனுக்காவது அவன் விலைப்பட்டுப்போனால்,

47. And if a stranger [who is a] sojourner with you is waxed rich, and your brother is waxed poor beside him, and sells himself to a stranger [who is a] sojourner with you, or to the stock of the stranger's family;

48. அவன் விலைப்பட்டுப்போனபின் திரும்ப மீட்கப்படலாம்; அவன் சகோதரரில் ஒருவன் அவனை மீட்கலாம்.

48. after he is sold he may be redeemed: one of his brothers may redeem him;

49. அவனுடைய பிதாவின் சகோதரனாவது, அந்தச் சகோதரனுடைய புத்திரனாவது, அவன் குடும்பத்திலுள்ள அவனைச் சேர்ந்த இனத்தாரில் எவனாவது அவனை மீட்கலாம்; தன்னால் கூடுமானால், தன்னைத்தானே மீட்டுக்கொள்ளலாம்.

49. or his uncle, or his uncle's son, may redeem him, or any who is near of kin to him of his family may redeem him; or if he is waxed rich, he may redeem himself.

50. அவன் தான் விலைப்பட்ட வருஷந்தொடங்கி, யூபிலி வருஷம்வரைக்கும் உண்டான காலத்தைத் தன்னை விலைக்குக் கொண்டவனுடன் கணக்குப் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; அவனுடைய விலைக்கிரயம் கூலிக்காரனுடைய காலக்கணக்குப்போல, வருஷத்தொகைக்கு ஒத்துப்பார்க்கவேண்டும்.

50. And he will reckon with him who bought him from the year that he sold himself to him to the year of jubilee: and the price of his sale will be according to the number of years; according to the time of a hired worker he will be with him.

51. இன்னும் அநேக வருஷங்கள் இருந்தால், அவன் தன் விலைக்கிரயத்திலே அவைகளுக்குத் தக்கதைத் தன்னை மீட்கும்பொருளாகத் திரும்பக்கொடுக்கக்கடவன்.

51. If there are yet many years, according to them he will give back the price of his redemption out of the money that he was bought for.

52. யூபிலி வருஷம்மட்டும் மீதியாயிருக்கிற வருஷங்கள் கொஞ்சமேயானால், அவனோடே கணக்குப் பார்த்து, தன் வருஷங்களுக்குத்தக்கதை, தன்னை மீட்கும் பொருளாகத் திரும்பக் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்.

52. And if there remain but few years to the year of jubilee, then he will reckon with him; according to his years he will give back the price of his redemption.

53. இவன் வருஷத்திற்கு வருஷம் கூலிபொருந்திக்கொண்ட கூலிக்காரனைப் போல, அவனிடத்தில் இருக்கவேண்டும்; அவன் இவனை உனக்கு முன்பாகக் கொடூரமாய் ஆளக்கூடாது.
கொலோசெயர் 4:1

53. As a worker hired year by year he will be with him: he will not rule with rigor over him in your sight.

54. இப்படி இவன் மீட்டுக்கொள்ளப்படாதிருந்தால், இவனும் இவனோடுகூட இவன் பிள்ளைகளும் யூபிலி வருஷத்தில் விடுதலையாவார்கள்.

54. And if he is not redeemed by these [means], then he will go out in the year of jubilee, he, and his sons with him.

55. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் என் ஊழியக்காரர்; அவர்கள் நான் எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணின என் ஊழியக்காரரே; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்.

55. For to me the sons of Israel are slaves; they are my slaves whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: I am Yahweh your+ God.
