1. பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

1. And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

2. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் எனக்கென்று நியமித்துச் செலுத்துகிற பரிசுத்த வஸ்துக்களைக்குறித்து ஆரோனும் அவன் குமாரரும் என் பரிசுத்த நாமத்தைப் பரிசுத்தக் குலைச்சலாக்காதபடிக்கு எச்சரிக்கையாய் இருக்கவேண்டும் என்று அவர்களோடே சொல்; நான் கர்த்தர்.

2. Speak to Aaron and his sons, that they set themselves apart from the holy things of the children of Israel, and that they do not profane My holy name by what they consecrate to Me: I am Jehovah.

3. அன்றியும் நீ அவர்களை நோக்கி: உங்கள் தலைமுறைகளிலுள்ள சந்ததியாரில் எவனாகிலும் தான் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருக்கும்போது, இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் கர்த்தருக்கு நியமித்துச் செலுத்துகிற பரிசுத்தமானவைகளண்டையில் சேர்ந்தால், அந்த ஆத்துமா என் சந்நிதியில் இராதபடிக்கு அறுப்புண்டுபோவான் என்று சொல்; நான் கர்த்தர்.

3. Say to them: Anyone of your seed throughout your generations, who goes near the holy things which the children of Israel consecrate unto Jehovah, while he has uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from before My face: I am Jehovah.

4. ஆரோனின் சந்ததியாரில் எவன் குஷ்டரோகியோ, எவன் பிரமியமுள்ளவனோ, அவன் சுத்தமாகும்மட்டும் பரிசுத்தமானவைகளில் புசிக்கலாகாது; பிணத்தினாலே தீட்டானவைகளில் எதையாகிலும் தொட்டவனும், இந்திரியங்கழிந்தவனும்,

4. Any man of the seed of Aaron, who is a leper or has a discharge, shall not eat of the holy things until he is clean. And whoever touches anything made unclean by a corpse, or a man whose seed goes out through intercourse,

5. தீட்டுப்படுத்துகிற யாதொரு ஊரும் பிராணியையாகிலும் தீட்டுள்ள மனிதனையாகிலும் தொட்டவனும்,

5. or whoever touches any swarming thing by which he is unclean, or any person by whom he is unclean, whatever his uncleanness may be;

6. சாயங்காலம்மட்டும் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருப்பான்; அவன் ஜலத்தில் ஸ்நானம்பண்ணும்வரைக்கும் பரிசுத்தமானவைகளில் புசிக்கலாகாது.

6. the soul who has touched any such thing shall be unclean until evening, and shall not eat of the holy things unless he washes his flesh with water.

7. சூரியன் அஸ்தமித்தபின்பு சுத்தமாயிருப்பான்; அதன்பின்பு அவன் பரிசுத்தமானவைகளில் புசிக்கலாம்; அது அவனுடைய ஆகாரம்.

7. And when the sun goes down he shall be clean; and afterward he may eat the holy things, because it is his food.

8. தானாய்ச் செத்ததையும் பீறுண்டதையும் அவன் புசிக்கிறதினாலே தன்னைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தலாகாது; நான் கர்த்தர்.

8. Whatever dies naturally or is torn by beasts he shall not eat, to defile himself with it: I am Jehovah.

9. ஆகையால் பரிசுத்தமானதை அவர்கள் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்குகிறதினாலே, பாவம் சுமந்து அதினிமித்தம் சாகாதபடிக்கு, என் கட்டளையைக் காக்கக்கடவர்கள்; நான் அவர்களைப் பரிசுத்தமாக்குகிற கர்த்தர்.

9. They shall therefore keep My ordinance, lest they bear sin for it and die thereby, if they profane it: I, Jehovah, sanctify them.

10. அந்நியன் ஒருவனும் பரிசுத்தமானவைகளில் புசிக்கலாகாது; ஆசாரியன் வீட்டில் தங்கியிருக்கிறவனும் கூலிவேலை செய்கிறவனும் பரிசுத்தமானதில் புசிக்கலாகாது.

10. No stranger shall eat of the holy things; one who sojourns with the priest, or a hired servant, shall not eat of the holy things.

11. ஆசாரியனால் பணத்துக்குக் கொள்ளப்பட்டவனும், அவன் வீட்டிலே பிறந்தவனும் அவனுடைய ஆகாரத்தில் புசிக்கலாம்.

11. But if the priest buys a soul with his money, he may eat it; and one who is born in his house may eat his food.

12. ஆசாரியனுடைய குமாரத்தி அந்நியனுக்கு வாழ்க்கைப்பட்டால், அவள் பரிசுத்தமானவைகளின் படைப்பிலே புசிக்கலாகாது.

12. If the priest's daughter is married to a man who is a stranger, she shall not eat of the offerings of the holy things.

13. விதவையாய்ப்போன, அல்லது தள்ளப்பட்டவளான ஆசாரியனுடைய குமாரத்தி பிள்ளையில்லாதிருந்து, தன் தகப்பன் வீட்டில் தன்னுடைய இளவயதில் இருந்ததுபோல திரும்பவந்து இருந்தாளேயாகில், அவள் தன் தகப்பன் ஆகாரத்தில் புசிக்கலாம்; அந்நியனாகிய ஒருவனும் அதில் புசிக்கலாகாது.

13. But if the priest's daughter is a widow or divorced, and has no child, and has returned to her father's house as in her youth, she shall eat her father's food; but no stranger shall eat it.

14. ஒருவன் அறியாமல் பரிசுத்தமானதில் புசித்ததுண்டானால், அவன் அதிலே ஐந்தில் ஒரு பங்கு அதிகமாய்க் கூட்டி பரிசுத்தமானவைகளோடுங்கூட ஆசாரியனுக்குக் கொடுக்கக்கடவன்.

14. And if a man eats of the holy things unintentionally, then he shall add a fifth part and give it to the priest with the holy thing.

15. அவர்கள் கர்த்தருக்குப் படைக்கிற இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருடைய பரிசுத்தமானவைகளைப் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்காமலும்,

15. They shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, which they offer unto Jehovah,

16. அவைகளைப் புசிக்கிறதினால் அவர்கள்மேல் குற்றமான அக்கிரமத்தைச் சுமரப்பண்ணாமலும் இருப்பார்களாக; நான் அவர்களைப் பரிசுத்தமாக்குகிற கர்த்தர் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

16. nor allow them to bear the iniquity of the guilt offering when they eat the holy things; for I, Jehovah, sanctify them.

17. பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

17. And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

18. நீ ஆரோனோடும் அவன் குமாரரோடும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் அனைவரோடும் சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: இஸ்ரவேல் குடும்பத்தாரிலும் இஸ்ரவேலில் தங்குகிற அந்நியர்களிலும் தங்களுடைய பொருத்தனைகளின்படியாகிலும் உற்சாகத்தின்படியாகிலும் சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளாகக் கர்த்தருக்குத் தங்கள் காணிக்கையை எவர்கள் செலுத்தப்போகிறார்களோ,

18. Speak to Aaron and his sons, and to all the children of Israel, and say to them: Any man of the house of Israel, or of the sojourners in Israel, who presents his offering for any of his vows or for any of his freewill offerings, which they offer unto Jehovah as a burnt offering;

19. அவர்கள் தங்கள் மனதின்படியே மாடுகளிலாகிலும் ஆடுகளிலாகிலும் வெள்ளாடுகளிலாகிலும் பழுதற்ற ஒரு ஆணைப் பிடித்துவந்து செலுத்துவார்களாக.

19. you shall offer of your own will a male that is whole from the cattle, from the sheep, or from the goats.

20. பழுதுள்ள ஒன்றையும் செலுத்தவேண்டாம்; அது உங்கள்நிமித்தம் அங்கிகரிக்கப்படுவதில்லை.

20. You shall not offer whatever has a blemish, for it shall not be acceptable for you.

21. ஒருவன் விசேஷித்த பொருத்தனையாயாவது, உற்சாகமாயாவது, கர்த்தருக்கு மாடுகளிலாகிலும் ஆடுகளிலாகிலும் சமாதானபலிகளைச் செலுத்தப்போனால், அது அங்கிகரிக்கப்படும்படி, ஒரு பழுதுமில்லாமல் உத்தமமாயிருக்கவேண்டும்.

21. And whoever offers a sacrifice of peace offerings unto Jehovah to fulfill his vow, or a freewill offering from the cattle or the sheep, it shall be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no blemish in it.

22. குருடு, நெரிசல், முடம், கழலை, சொறி, புண் முதலிய பழுதுள்ளவைகளை நீங்கள் கர்த்தருக்குச் செலுத்தாமலும், அவைகளாலே கர்த்தருக்குப் பலிபீடத்தின்மேல் தகனபலியிடாமலும் இருப்பீர்களாக.

22. Those that are blind or broken or maimed, or have an ulcer or itch or scabs, you shall not offer unto Jehovah, nor make an offering by fire of them upon the altar unto Jehovah.

23. நீண்ட அல்லது குறுகின அவயவமுள்ள மாட்டையும் ஆட்டையும் நீ உற்சாகபலியாக இடலாம்; பொருத்தனைக்காக அது அங்கிகரிக்கப்படமாட்டாது.

23. A bull or a lamb that has anything deformed or dwarfed you may offer as a freewill offering, but for a vow it shall not be accepted.

24. விதை நசுங்கினதையும் நொறுங்கினதையும் காயம்பட்டதையும் விதை அறுக்கப்பட்டதையும் நீங்கள் கர்த்தருக்குச் செலுத்தாமலும், அவைகளை உங்கள் தேசத்தில் பலியிடாமலும் இருப்பீர்களாக.

24. You shall not offer unto Jehovah what is bruised or crushed, or torn or cut; you shall not do it in your land.

25. அந்நிய புத்திரன் கையிலும் இப்படிப்பட்டதை வாங்கி, தேவனுக்கு அப்பமாகச் செலுத்தீர்களாக; அவைகளின் கேடும் பழுதும் அவைகளில் இருக்கிறது; அவைகள் உங்களுக்காக அங்கிகரிக்கப்படுவதில்லை என்று சொல் என்றார்.

25. Nor from a foreigner's hand shall you offer any of these as the bread of your God, because their corruption is in them, and blemishes are in them. They shall not be accepted for you.

26. பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

26. And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying:

27. ஒரு கன்றாவது செம்மறியாட்டுக்குட்டியாவது வெள்ளாட்டுக்குட்டியாவது பிறந்தால், அது ஏழுநாள் தன் தாயினிடத்தில் இருக்கக்கடவது; எட்டாம் நாள் முதல் அது கர்த்தருக்குத் தகனபலியாக அங்கிகரிக்கப்படும்.

27. When a bull or a sheep or a goat is born, it shall be with its mother seven days; and from the eighth day and onward it shall be acceptable as an offering by fire unto Jehovah.

28. பசுவையும் அதின் கன்றையும், ஆட்டையும் அதின் குட்டியையும் ஒரே நாளில் கொல்லவேண்டாம்.

28. However, with the cow or ewe, do not kill both her and her young on the same day.

29. கர்த்தருக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரபலியைச் செலுத்துவீர்களானால் மனப்பூர்வமாய் அதைச் செலுத்துவீர்களாக.

29. And when you offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto Jehovah, offer it of your own will.

30. அந்நாளிலேதான் அது புசிக்கப்படவேண்டும்; விடியற்காலம்மட்டும் நீங்கள் அதில் ஒன்றும் மீதியாக வைக்கவேண்டாம்; நான் கர்த்தர்.

30. On the same day it shall be eaten; you shall leave none of it until morning: I am Jehovah.

31. நீங்கள் என் கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு, அவைகளின்படி செய்யக்கடவீர்கள்; நான் கர்த்தர்.

31. Therefore you shall keep My commandments, and do them: I am Jehovah.

32. என் பரிசுத்த நாமத்தைப் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்காதிருப்பீர்களாக; நான் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் நடுவே பரிசுத்தர் என்று மதிக்கப்படுவேன்; நான் உங்களைப் பரிசுத்தமாக்குகிற கர்த்தர்.

32. You shall not profane My holy name, but I will be treated holy among the children of Israel. I am Jehovah who sanctifies you,

33. நான் உங்களுக்கு தேவனாயிருப்பதற்காக, உங்களை எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணினேன்; நான் கர்த்தர் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

33. who is bringing you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am Jehovah.
