1. நீதியைச் சரிக்கட்டுகிற தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, நீதியைச் சரிக்கட்டுகிற தேவனே, பிரகாசியும்.
1 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 4:6

1. O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth: thou God to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.

2. பூமியின் நியாயாதிபதியே, நீர் எழுந்து, பெருமைக்காரருக்குப் பதிலளியும்.

2. Arise thou judge of the world, and reward to the proud after their deserving.

3. கர்த்தாவே, துன்மார்க்கர் எதுவரைக்கும் மகிழ்ந்து, துன்மார்க்கர் எதுவரைக்கும் களிகூர்ந்திருப்பார்கள்?

3. LORD, how long shall the ungodly, how long shall the ungodly triumph?

4. எதுவரைக்கும் அக்கிரமக்காரர் யாவரும் வாயாடி, கடினமாய்ப் பேசி, பெருமைபாராட்டுவார்கள்?

4. How long shall all wicked doers speak so disdainfully,(disdaynedly) and make such proud boasting?

5. கர்த்தாவே, அவர்கள் உமது ஜனத்தை நொறுக்கி, உமது சுதந்தரத்தை ஒடுக்குகிறார்கள்.

5. They smite down thy people, O LORD, and trouble thine heritage.

6. விதவையையும் பரதேசியையும் கொன்று, திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைகளைக் கொலைசெய்து:

6. They murder(murthur) the widow and the stranger, and put the fatherless to death.

7. கர்த்தர் பாரார், யாக்கோபின் தேவன் கவனியார் என்று சொல்லுகிறார்கள்.

7. And yet they say: Tush, the LORD seeth not, the God of Jacob regardeth it not.

8. ஜனத்தில் மிருககுணமுள்ளவர்களே, உணர்வடையுங்கள்; மூடரே, எப்பொழுது புத்திமான்களாவீர்கள்?

8. Take heed, ye unwise among the people: O ye fools, when will ye understand?

9. காதை உண்டாக்கினவர் கேளாரோ? கண்ணை உருவாக்கினவர் காணாரோ?

9. He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that made the eye, shall not he see?

10. ஜாதிகளை தண்டிக்கிறவர் கடிந்துகொள்ளாரோ? மனுஷனுக்கு அறிவைப் போதிக்கிறவர் அறியாரோ?

10. He that nurtureth the Heathen, and teacheth a man knowledge, shall not he punish?

11. மனுஷனுடைய யோசனைகள் வீணென்று கர்த்தர் அறிந்திருக்கிறார்.
1 கொரிந்தியர் 3:20

11. The LORD knoweth the thoughts of men, that they are but vain.

12. கர்த்தாவே, துன்மார்க்கனுக்குக் குழிவெட்டப்படும்வரைக்கும், நீர் தீங்கு நாட்களில் அமர்ந்திருக்கப்பண்ணி,

12. Blessed is the man, whom thou learnest, (O LORD) and teachest him in thy law.

13. சிட்சித்து, உம்முடைய வேதத்தைக்கொண்டு போதிக்கிற மனுஷன் பாக்கியவான்.

13. That thou mayest give him patience in time of adversity, until the pit be digged up for the ungodly.

14. கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய ஜனத்தை நெகிழவிடாமலும், தம்முடைய சுதந்தரத்தைக் கைவிடாமலும் இருப்பார்.
ரோமர் 11:1-2

14. For the LORD will not fail his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.

15. நியாயம் நீதியினிடமாகத் திரும்பும்; செம்மையான இருதயத்தார் யாவரும் அதைப் பின்பற்றுவார்கள்.

15. And why? judgment shall be turned again unto righteousness, and all such as be true of heart shall follow it.

16. துன்மார்க்கருக்கு விரோதமாய் என் பட்சத்தில் எழும்புகிறவன் யார்? அக்கிரமக்காரருக்கு விரோதமாய் என் பட்சத்தில் நிற்பவன் யார்?

16. Who riseth up with me against the wicked? who taketh my part against the evil doers?

17. கர்த்தர் எனக்குத் துணையாயிராவிட்டால், என் ஆத்துமா சீக்கிரமாய் மவுனத்தில் வாசம் பண்ணியிருக்கும்.

17. If the LORD had not helped me, my soul had almost been put to silence.

18. என் கால் சறுக்குகிறது என்று நான் சொல்லும்போது, கர்த்தாவே, உமது கிருபை என்னைத் தாங்குகிறது.

18. When I said: My foot hath slipped, thy mercy (O LORD) held me up.

19. என் உள்ளத்தில் விசாரங்கள் பெருகுகையில், உம்முடைய ஆறுதல்கள் என் ஆத்துமாவைத் தேற்றுகிறது.
2 கொரிந்தியர் 1:5

19. In the multitude of the sorrows that I had in my heart, thy comforts have refreshed my soul.

20. தீமையைக் கட்டளையினால் பிறப்பிக்கிற கொடுங்கோலாசனம் உமக்கு இசைந்திருக்குமோ?

20. Wilt thou have anything to do with the stool of wickedness, which imagineth mischief in the law?

21. அவர்கள் நீதிமானுடைய ஆத்துமாவுக்கு விரோதமாய்க் கூட்டங்கூடி, குற்றமில்லாத இரத்தத்தைக் குற்றப்படுத்துகிறார்கள்.

21. They gather them together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.

22. கர்த்தரோ எனக்கு அடைக்கலமும், என் தேவன் நான் நம்பியிருக்கிற கன்மலையுமாயிருக்கிறார்.

22. But the LORD is my refuge, my God is the strength of my confidence.

23. அவர்களுடைய அக்கிரமத்தை அவர்கள்மேல் திருப்பி, அவர்களுடைய பொல்லாப்பினிமித்தம் அவர்களைச் சங்கரிப்பார்; நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரே அவர்களைச் சங்கரிப்பார்.

23. He shall recompense them their wickedness, and destroy them in their own malice: yea the LORD our God shall destroy them.
