1. நீதியைச் சரிக்கட்டுகிற தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, நீதியைச் சரிக்கட்டுகிற தேவனே, பிரகாசியும்.
1 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 4:6

1. God of vengeance, ADONAI! God of vengeance, appear!

2. பூமியின் நியாயாதிபதியே, நீர் எழுந்து, பெருமைக்காரருக்குப் பதிலளியும்.

2. Assert yourself as judge of the earth! Pay back the proud as they deserve!

3. கர்த்தாவே, துன்மார்க்கர் எதுவரைக்கும் மகிழ்ந்து, துன்மார்க்கர் எதுவரைக்கும் களிகூர்ந்திருப்பார்கள்?

3. How long are the wicked, ADONAI, how long are the wicked to triumph?

4. எதுவரைக்கும் அக்கிரமக்காரர் யாவரும் வாயாடி, கடினமாய்ப் பேசி, பெருமைபாராட்டுவார்கள்?

4. They pour out insolent words, they go on bragging, all these evildoers.

5. கர்த்தாவே, அவர்கள் உமது ஜனத்தை நொறுக்கி, உமது சுதந்தரத்தை ஒடுக்குகிறார்கள்.

5. They crush your people, ADONAI, they oppress your heritage.

6. விதவையையும் பரதேசியையும் கொன்று, திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைகளைக் கொலைசெய்து:

6. They kill widows and strangers and murder the fatherless.

7. கர்த்தர் பாரார், யாக்கோபின் தேவன் கவனியார் என்று சொல்லுகிறார்கள்.

7. They say, '[Yah] isn't looking; the God of Ya'akov won't notice.'

8. ஜனத்தில் மிருககுணமுள்ளவர்களே, உணர்வடையுங்கள்; மூடரே, எப்பொழுது புத்திமான்களாவீர்கள்?

8. Take notice, yourselves, you boors among the people! You fools, when will you understand?

9. காதை உண்டாக்கினவர் கேளாரோ? கண்ணை உருவாக்கினவர் காணாரோ?

9. Will the one who planted the ear not hear? Will the one who formed the eye not see?

10. ஜாதிகளை தண்டிக்கிறவர் கடிந்துகொள்ளாரோ? மனுஷனுக்கு அறிவைப் போதிக்கிறவர் அறியாரோ?

10. Will the one who disciplines nations not correct them? Will the teacher of humanity not know?

11. மனுஷனுடைய யோசனைகள் வீணென்று கர்த்தர் அறிந்திருக்கிறார்.

11. ADONAI understands that people's thoughts are merely a puff of wind.

12. கர்த்தாவே, துன்மார்க்கனுக்குக் குழிவெட்டப்படும்வரைக்கும், நீர் தீங்கு நாட்களில் அமர்ந்திருக்கப்பண்ணி,

12. How happy the man whom you correct, [Yah], whom you teach from your [Torah],

13. சிட்சித்து, உம்முடைய வேதத்தைக்கொண்டு போதிக்கிற மனுஷன் பாக்கியவான்.

13. giving him respite from days of trouble, till a pit is dug for the wicked!

14. கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய ஜனத்தை நெகிழவிடாமலும், தம்முடைய சுதந்தரத்தைக் கைவிடாமலும் இருப்பார்.
ரோமர் 11:1-2

14. For ADONAI will not desert his people, he will not abandon his heritage.

15. நியாயம் நீதியினிடமாகத் திரும்பும்; செம்மையான இருதயத்தார் யாவரும் அதைப் பின்பற்றுவார்கள்.

15. Justice will once again become righteous, and all the upright in heart will follow it.

16. துன்மார்க்கருக்கு விரோதமாய் என் பட்சத்தில் எழும்புகிறவன் யார்? அக்கிரமக்காரருக்கு விரோதமாய் என் பட்சத்தில் நிற்பவன் யார்?

16. Who will champion my cause against the wicked? Who will stand up for me against evildoers?

17. கர்த்தர் எனக்குத் துணையாயிராவிட்டால், என் ஆத்துமா சீக்கிரமாய் மவுனத்தில் வாசம் பண்ணியிருக்கும்.

17. If ADONAI hadn't helped me, I would soon have dwelt in the land of silence.

18. என் கால் சறுக்குகிறது என்று நான் சொல்லும்போது, கர்த்தாவே, உமது கிருபை என்னைத் தாங்குகிறது.

18. When I said, 'My foot is slipping!' your grace, ADONAI, supported me.

19. என் உள்ளத்தில் விசாரங்கள் பெருகுகையில், உம்முடைய ஆறுதல்கள் என் ஆத்துமாவைத் தேற்றுகிறது.

19. When my cares within me are many, your comforts cheer me up.

20. தீமையைக் கட்டளையினால் பிறப்பிக்கிற கொடுங்கோலாசனம் உமக்கு இசைந்திருக்குமோ?

20. Can unjust judges be allied with you, those producing wrong in the name of law?

21. அவர்கள் நீதிமானுடைய ஆத்துமாவுக்கு விரோதமாய்க் கூட்டங்கூடி, குற்றமில்லாத இரத்தத்தைக் குற்றப்படுத்துகிறார்கள்.

21. They band together against the righteous and condemn the innocent to death.

22. கர்த்தரோ எனக்கு அடைக்கலமும், என் தேவன் நான் நம்பியிருக்கிற கன்மலையுமாயிருக்கிறார்.

22. But ADONAI has become my stronghold, my God is my rock of refuge.

23. அவர்களுடைய அக்கிரமத்தை அவர்கள்மேல் திருப்பி, அவர்களுடைய பொல்லாப்பினிமித்தம் அவர்களைச் சங்கரிப்பார்; நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரே அவர்களைச் சங்கரிப்பார்.

23. But he repays them as their guilt deserves; he will cut them off with their own evil; ADONAI our God will cut them off.
