1. நீதியைச் சரிக்கட்டுகிற தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, நீதியைச் சரிக்கட்டுகிற தேவனே, பிரகாசியும்.
1 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 4:6

1. O GOD of avenging Yahweh, GOD of avenging, shine forth:

2. பூமியின் நியாயாதிபதியே, நீர் எழுந்து, பெருமைக்காரருக்குப் பதிலளியும்.

2. Lift up thyself, O judge of the earth, Render a recompense unto the proud.

3. கர்த்தாவே, துன்மார்க்கர் எதுவரைக்கும் மகிழ்ந்து, துன்மார்க்கர் எதுவரைக்கும் களிகூர்ந்திருப்பார்கள்?

3. How long shall the lawless, O Yahweh, How long shall the lawless exult?

4. எதுவரைக்கும் அக்கிரமக்காரர் யாவரும் வாயாடி, கடினமாய்ப் பேசி, பெருமைபாராட்டுவார்கள்?

4. They pour forth words , they speak arrogantly, All the workers of iniquity, do boast:

5. கர்த்தாவே, அவர்கள் உமது ஜனத்தை நொறுக்கி, உமது சுதந்தரத்தை ஒடுக்குகிறார்கள்.

5. Thy people, O Yahweh, they will crush, And, thine inheritance, tread down;

6. விதவையையும் பரதேசியையும் கொன்று, திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைகளைக் கொலைசெய்து:

6. The widow and sojourner, they will slay, And, the fatherless, murder.

7. கர்த்தர் பாரார், யாக்கோபின் தேவன் கவனியார் என்று சொல்லுகிறார்கள்.

7. Yet have they said Yah, doth not see, The God of Jacob, doth not understand.

8. ஜனத்தில் மிருககுணமுள்ளவர்களே, உணர்வடையுங்கள்; மூடரே, எப்பொழுது புத்திமான்களாவீர்கள்?

8. Understand, ye brutish among the people, And, ye dullards, when will ye show discretion?

9. காதை உண்டாக்கினவர் கேளாரோ? கண்ணை உருவாக்கினவர் காணாரோ?

9. He that planteth the ear, shall he not hear? Or, that fashioneth the eye, shall he not have power to see?

10. ஜாதிகளை தண்டிக்கிறவர் கடிந்துகொள்ளாரோ? மனுஷனுக்கு அறிவைப் போதிக்கிறவர் அறியாரோ?

10. He that correcteth nations, shall he not reprove? He that teacheth man knowledge!

11. மனுஷனுடைய யோசனைகள் வீணென்று கர்த்தர் அறிந்திருக்கிறார்.
1 கொரிந்தியர் 3:20

11. Yahweh, knoweth the plans of men, That, they, are a breath!

12. கர்த்தாவே, துன்மார்க்கனுக்குக் குழிவெட்டப்படும்வரைக்கும், நீர் தீங்கு நாட்களில் அமர்ந்திருக்கப்பண்ணி,

12. How happy the man whom thou correctest, O Yah! And whom, out of thy law, thou instructest!

13. சிட்சித்து, உம்முடைய வேதத்தைக்கொண்டு போதிக்கிற மனுஷன் பாக்கியவான்.

13. That thou mayest give him rest from the days of misfortune, Until there be digged for the lawless one a pit.

14. கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய ஜனத்தை நெகிழவிடாமலும், தம்முடைய சுதந்தரத்தைக் கைவிடாமலும் இருப்பார்.
ரோமர் 11:1-2

14. For Yahweh, will not abandon, his people, And, his inheritance, will he not forsake;

15. நியாயம் நீதியினிடமாகத் திரும்பும்; செம்மையான இருதயத்தார் யாவரும் அதைப் பின்பற்றுவார்கள்.

15. For, unto righteousness, shall the judicial sentence return, Then shall follow it all the upright in heart.

16. துன்மார்க்கருக்கு விரோதமாய் என் பட்சத்தில் எழும்புகிறவன் யார்? அக்கிரமக்காரருக்கு விரோதமாய் என் பட்சத்தில் நிற்பவன் யார்?

16. Who will rise up for me, against the evil-doers? Who will make a stand for me, against the workers of iniquity?

17. கர்த்தர் எனக்குத் துணையாயிராவிட்டால், என் ஆத்துமா சீக்கிரமாய் மவுனத்தில் வாசம் பண்ணியிருக்கும்.

17. If, Yahweh, had not been a help to me, Soon had sunk into silence my soul!

18. என் கால் சறுக்குகிறது என்று நான் சொல்லும்போது, கர்த்தாவே, உமது கிருபை என்னைத் தாங்குகிறது.

18. If I say, My foot, hath slipped, Thy lovingkindness, O Yahweh, supporteth me.

19. என் உள்ளத்தில் விசாரங்கள் பெருகுகையில், உம்முடைய ஆறுதல்கள் என் ஆத்துமாவைத் தேற்றுகிறது.
2 கொரிந்தியர் 1:5

19. In the multitude of my cares within me, Thy consolations, delight my soul.

20. தீமையைக் கட்டளையினால் பிறப்பிக்கிற கொடுங்கோலாசனம் உமக்கு இசைந்திருக்குமோ?

20. Shall the throne that inflicteth ruin, have fellowship with thee, That frameth oppression, by statute?

21. அவர்கள் நீதிமானுடைய ஆத்துமாவுக்கு விரோதமாய்க் கூட்டங்கூடி, குற்றமில்லாத இரத்தத்தைக் குற்றப்படுத்துகிறார்கள்.

21. They make an attack on the life of the righteous one, And, innocent blood, they condemn.

22. கர்த்தரோ எனக்கு அடைக்கலமும், என் தேவன் நான் நம்பியிருக்கிற கன்மலையுமாயிருக்கிறார்.

22. But, Yahweh, hath become for me a high tower, And my God, my rock of refuge.

23. அவர்களுடைய அக்கிரமத்தை அவர்கள்மேல் திருப்பி, அவர்களுடைய பொல்லாப்பினிமித்தம் அவர்களைச் சங்கரிப்பார்; நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரே அவர்களைச் சங்கரிப்பார்.

23. Thus hath he brought back on them their iniquity, And, by their own wickedness, will he destroy them, Destroy them, will Yahweh our God.
