1. பொல்லாதவர்களைக்குறித்து எரிச்சலடையாதே; நியாயக்கேடு செய்கிறவர்கள்மேல் பொறாமை கொள்ளாதே.

1. [Of Dauid.] Fret not thy selfe because of the vngodly: neither be thou enuious against the euyll doers.

2. அவர்கள் புல்லைப்போல் சீக்கிரமாய் அறுப்புண்டு, பசும்பூண்டைப்போல் வாடிப்போவார்கள்.

2. For they shall soone be cut downe like the grasse: and be withered euen as the greene hearbe.

3. கர்த்தரை நம்பி நன்மைசெய்; தேசத்தில் குடியிருந்து சத்தியத்தை மேய்ந்துகொள்.

3. Put thou thy trust in God, and be doing good: dwell in the land, and feede in trueth.

4. கர்த்தரிடத்தில் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிரு; அவர் உன் இருதயத்தின் வேண்டுதல்களை உனக்கு அருள்செய்வார்.
மத்தேயு 6:33

4. Delight thou also in God: and he shall geue thee thy heartes desire.

5. உன் வழியைக் கர்த்தருக்கு ஒப்புவித்து, அவர்மேல் நம்பிக்கையாயிரு; அவரே காரியத்தை வாய்க்கப்பண்ணுவார்.

5. Commit thy way vnto God: and put thy trust in hym, and he shall bryng it to passe.

6. உன் நீதியை வெளிச்சத்தைப் போலவும், உன் நியாயத்தைப் பட்டப்பகலைப்போலவும் விளங்கப்பண்ணுவார்.

6. He shall make thy righteousnesse appeare as cleare as the light: and thy iust dealing as the noone tyde.

7. கர்த்தரை நோக்கி அமர்ந்து, அவருக்குக் காத்திரு; காரியசித்தியுள்ளவன் மேலும் தீவினைகளைச் செய்கிற மனுஷன் மேலும் எரிச்சலாகாதே.

7. Holde thee still in God, and wayte paciently vpon him: fret not thy selfe at him whose way doth prosper, at the man that doth abhominations.

8. கோபத்தை நெகிழ்ந்து, உக்கிரத்தை விட்டுவிடு; பொல்லாப்புச் செய்ய ஏதுவான எரிச்சல் உனக்கு வேண்டாம்.

8. Leaue of from wrath, and let go displeasure: fret not thy selfe, lest thou be moued to do euill.

9. பொல்லாதவர்கள் அறுப்புண்டுபோவார்கள்; கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்களோ பூமியைச் சுதந்தரித்துக் கொள்வார்கள்.

9. For the malitious doers shalbe rooted out: and they that paciently wayte after God, they shall inherite the lande.

10. இன்னுங் கொஞ்சநேரந்தான், அப்போது துன்மார்க்கன் இரான்; அவன் ஸ்தானத்தை உற்று விசாரித்தாயானால் அவன் இல்லை.

10. [Looke] at them yet a litle whyle, and the vngodly shalbe cleane gone: thou shalt looke after his place, and he shall not be [there]

11. சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவர்கள் பூமியைச் சுதந்தரித்து, மிகுந்த சமாதானத்தினால் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிருப்பார்கள்.

11. But the meeke spirited shall possesse the earth: and shalbe delighted in the aboundaunce of peace.

12. துன்மார்க்கன் நீதிமானுக்கு விரோதமாய்த் தீங்கு நினைத்து, அவன் பேரில் பற்கடிக்கிறான்.

12. The vngodly busieth his head [all] against the iust: and gnasheth vpon him with his teeth.

13. ஆண்டவர் அவனைப்பார்த்து நகைக்கிறார்; அவனுடைய நாள் வருகிறதென்று காண்கிறார்.

13. The Lorde shall laugh him to scorne: for he seeth that his day is comming.

14. சிறுமையும் எளிமையுமானவனை மடிவிக்கவும், செம்மை மார்க்கத்தாரை விழப்பண்ணவும், துன்மார்க்கர் பட்டயத்தை உருவி, தங்கள் வில்லை நாணேற்றுகிறார்கள்.

14. The vngodly haue drawen out the sworde, and haue bended their bowe: to cast downe the poore and needie, and to slay such as be of right conuersation.

15. ஆனாலும் அவர்கள் பட்டயம் அவர்களுடைய இருதயத்திற்குள் உருவிப்போகும்; அவர்கள் வில்லுகள் முறியும்.

15. But their sworde shal go thorow their owne heart: & their bow shalbe broken.

16. அநேக துன்மார்க்கருக்குள்ள செல்வத்திரட்சியைப்பார்க்கிலும், நீதிமானுக்குள்ள கொஞ்சமே நல்லது.

16. A small thing that the righteous hath: is better then great riches of ye vngodly.

17. துன்மார்க்கருடைய புயங்கள் முறியும்; நீதிமான்களையோ கர்த்தர் தாங்குகிறார்.

17. For the armes of the vngodly shalbe broken: and God vpholdeth the righteous.

18. உத்தமர்களின் நாட்களைக் கர்த்தர் அறிந்திருக்கிறார்; அவர்கள் சுதந்தரம் என்றென்றைக்கும் இருக்கும்.

18. God knoweth the dayes of them that be perfect: and their inheritaunce shall endure for euer.

19. அவர்கள் ஆபத்துக்காலத்திலே வெட்கப்பட்டுப்போகாதிருந்து, பஞ்சகாலத்திலே திருப்தியடைவார்கள்.

19. They shall not be confounded in the perilous tyme: and in the dayes of dearth they shall haue inough.

20. துன்மார்க்கரோ அழிந்துபோவார்கள், கர்த்தருடைய சத்துருக்கள் ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகளின் நிணத்தைப்போல் புகைந்து போவார்கள், அவர்கள் புகையாய்ப் புகைந்து போவார்கள்.

20. As for the vngodly they shall perishe, and the enemies of God shall consume as the fat of lambes: yea, euen with the smoke they shall vanishe away.

21. துன்மார்க்கன் கடன் வாங்கிச் செலுத்தாமற் போகிறான்; நீதிமானோ இரங்கிக்கொடுக்கிறான்.

21. The vngodly boroweth and payeth not agayne: but the righteous geueth mercifully and liberally.

22. அவரால் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் பூமியைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளுவார்கள்; அவரால் சபிக்கப்பட்டவர்களோ அறுப்புண்டுபோவார்கள்.

22. Suche as be blessed of God shall possesse the lande: and they that be cursed of hym, shalbe rooted out.

23. நல்ல மனுஷனுடைய நடைகள் கர்த்தரால் உறுதிப்படும், அவனுடைய வழியின்மேல் அவர் பிரியமாயிருக்கிறார்.

23. The pathes of man is directed by God: and his way pleaseth.

24. அவன் விழுந்தாலும் தள்ளுண்டு போவதில்லை; கர்த்தர் தமது கையினால் அவனைத் தாங்குகிறார்.

24. Though he fall, he shall not be vndone: for God vpholdeth him with his hande.

25. நான் இளைஞனாயிருந்தேன், முதிர்வயதுள்ளவனுமானேன்; ஆனாலும் நீதிமான் கைவிடப்பட்டதையும், அவன் சந்ததி அப்பத்துக்கு இரந்து திரிகிறதையும் நான் காணவில்லை.

25. I haue ben a young chylde, and nowe I am olde: and yet sawe I neuer the righteous forsaken, nor his seede begyng bread.

26. அவன் நித்தம் இரங்கிக் கடன் கொடுக்கிறான், அவன் சந்ததி ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்படும்.

26. The righteous is euer mercifull and lendeth: and his seede is blessed.

27. தீமையை விட்டு விலகி, நன்மை செய்; என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைத்திருப்பாய்.

27. Flee from euill & do good: and dwell for euer.

28. கர்த்தர் நியாயத்தை விரும்புகிறவர்; அவர் தமது பரிசுத்தவான்களைக் கைவிடுவதில்லை; அவர்கள் என்றைக்கும் காக்கப்படுவார்கள்; துன்மார்க்கருடைய சந்ததியோ அறுப்புண்டுபோகும்.

28. For God loueth iudgement, he forsaketh not his saintes: they are preserued for euermore, but the seede of the vngodlye shalbe rooted vp.

29. நீதிமான்கள் பூமியைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொண்டு, என்றைக்கும் அதிலே வாசமாயிருப்பார்கள்.

29. The righteous shal inherite the land: and dwell therin for euer.

30. நீதிமானுடைய வாய் ஞானத்தை உரைத்து, அவனுடைய நாவு நியாயத்தைப் பேசும்.

30. The mouth of the righteous is exercised in wysdome: and his tongue wyll be talking of iudgement.

31. அவனுடைய தேவன் அருளிய வேதம் அவன் இருதயத்தில் இருக்கிறது; அவன் நடைகளில் ஒன்றும் பிசகுவதில்லை.

31. The lawe of his God is in his heart: therfore his feete shall not slide.

32. துன்மார்க்கன் நீதிமான்மேல் கண்வைத்து, அவனைக் கொல்ல வகைதேடுகிறான்.

32. The vngodly spyeth the righteous: and seeketh [occasion] to slay hym.

33. கர்த்தரோ அவனை இவன் கையில் விடுவதில்லை; அவன் நியாயம் விசாரிக்கப்படுகையில், அவனை ஆக்கினைக்குள்ளாகத் தீர்ப்பதுமில்லை.

33. God wyll not leaue him in his hande: nor suffer hym to be condemned when he is iudged.

34. நீ கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திருந்து, அவருடைய வழியைக் கைக்கொள்; அப்பொழுது நீ பூமியைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்வதற்கு அவர் உன்னை உயர்த்துவார்; துன்மார்க்கர் அறுப்புண்டுபோவதை நீ காண்பாய்.

34. Wayte thou on God & kepe his way, and he wyll promote thee, that thou mayest possesse the lande: when the vngodly shalbe cut of, thou shalt see it.

35. கொடிய பலவந்தனான ஒரு துன்மார்க்கனைக் கண்டேன் அவன் தனக்கேற்ற நிலத்தில் முளைத்திருக்கிற பச்சைமரத்தைப்போல் தழைத்தவனாயிருந்தான்.

35. I my selfe haue seene the vngodly in great power: and florishing lyke a greene bay tree.

36. ஆனாலும் அவன் ஒழிந்துபோனான்; பாருங்கள், அவன் இல்லை; அவனைத் தேடினேன், அவன் காணப்படவில்லை.

36. And he vanished away, so that he could be no more seene: I sought hym, but he coulde no where be founde.

37. நீ உத்தமனை நோக்கி, செம்மையானவனைப் பார்த்திரு; அந்த மனுஷனுடைய முடிவு சமாதானம்.

37. Marke hym that is perfect, and beholde him that is iust: for the ende of suche a man is peace.

38. அக்கிரமக்காரர் ஏகமாய் அழிக்கப்படுவார்கள்; அறுப்புண்டுபோவதே துன்மார்க்கரின் முடிவு.

38. As for wicked transgressours, they shalbe destroyed [all] together: and the ende of the vngodly shalbe rooted vp at the last.

39. நீதிமான்களுடைய இரட்சிப்பு கர்த்தரால் வரும்; இக்கட்டுக்காலத்தில் அவரே அவர்கள் அடைக்கலம்.

39. But saluation of the righteous commeth of God: whiche is also their strength in time of trouble.

40. கர்த்தர் அவர்களுக்கு உதவிசெய்து, அவர்களை விடுவிப்பார்; அவர்கள் அவரை நம்பியிருக்கிறபடியால், அவர்களைத் துன்மார்க்கருடைய கைக்குத் தப்புவித்து இரட்சிப்பார்.

40. And God wyll ayde them and deliuer them, he wyl deliuer them from the vngodly: and he wyll saue them, because they put their trust in him.
