1. பொல்லாதவர்களைக்குறித்து எரிச்சலடையாதே; நியாயக்கேடு செய்கிறவர்கள்மேல் பொறாமை கொள்ளாதே.

1. Do not trouble yourself because of sinful men. Do not want to be like those who do wrong.

2. அவர்கள் புல்லைப்போல் சீக்கிரமாய் அறுப்புண்டு, பசும்பூண்டைப்போல் வாடிப்போவார்கள்.

2. For they will soon dry up like the grass. Like the green plant they will soon die.

3. கர்த்தரை நம்பி நன்மைசெய்; தேசத்தில் குடியிருந்து சத்தியத்தை மேய்ந்துகொள்.

3. Trust in the Lord, and do good. So you will live in the land and will be fed.

4. கர்த்தரிடத்தில் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிரு; அவர் உன் இருதயத்தின் வேண்டுதல்களை உனக்கு அருள்செய்வார்.
மத்தேயு 6:33

4. Be happy in the Lord. And He will give you the desires of your heart.

5. உன் வழியைக் கர்த்தருக்கு ஒப்புவித்து, அவர்மேல் நம்பிக்கையாயிரு; அவரே காரியத்தை வாய்க்கப்பண்ணுவார்.

5. Give your way over to the Lord. Trust in Him also. And He will do it.

6. உன் நீதியை வெளிச்சத்தைப் போலவும், உன் நியாயத்தைப் பட்டப்பகலைப்போலவும் விளங்கப்பண்ணுவார்.

6. He will make your being right and good show as the light, and your wise actions as the noon day.

7. கர்த்தரை நோக்கி அமர்ந்து, அவருக்குக் காத்திரு; காரியசித்தியுள்ளவன் மேலும் தீவினைகளைச் செய்கிற மனுஷன் மேலும் எரிச்சலாகாதே.

7. Rest in the Lord and be willing to wait for Him. Do not trouble yourself when all goes well with the one who carries out his sinful plans.

8. கோபத்தை நெகிழ்ந்து, உக்கிரத்தை விட்டுவிடு; பொல்லாப்புச் செய்ய ஏதுவான எரிச்சல் உனக்கு வேண்டாம்.

8. Stop being angry. Turn away from fighting. Do not trouble yourself. It leads only to wrong-doing.

9. பொல்லாதவர்கள் அறுப்புண்டுபோவார்கள்; கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்களோ பூமியைச் சுதந்தரித்துக் கொள்வார்கள்.

9. For those who do wrong will be cut off. But those who wait for the Lord will be given the earth.

10. இன்னுங் கொஞ்சநேரந்தான், அப்போது துன்மார்க்கன் இரான்; அவன் ஸ்தானத்தை உற்று விசாரித்தாயானால் அவன் இல்லை.

10. A little while, and the sinful man will be no more. You will look for his place, and he will not be there.

11. சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவர்கள் பூமியைச் சுதந்தரித்து, மிகுந்த சமாதானத்தினால் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிருப்பார்கள்.

11. But those who have no pride will be given the earth. And they will be happy and have much more than they need.

12. துன்மார்க்கன் நீதிமானுக்கு விரோதமாய்த் தீங்கு நினைத்து, அவன் பேரில் பற்கடிக்கிறான்.

12. The sinful man plans against him who is right with God. And he grinds his teeth at him.

13. ஆண்டவர் அவனைப்பார்த்து நகைக்கிறார்; அவனுடைய நாள் வருகிறதென்று காண்கிறார்.

13. The Lord laughs at him because He sees his day is coming.

14. சிறுமையும் எளிமையுமானவனை மடிவிக்கவும், செம்மை மார்க்கத்தாரை விழப்பண்ணவும், துன்மார்க்கர் பட்டயத்தை உருவி, தங்கள் வில்லை நாணேற்றுகிறார்கள்.

14. The sinful have taken up their sword and their bow, to bring down the poor and those in need, and to kill those whose ways are right.

15. ஆனாலும் அவர்கள் பட்டயம் அவர்களுடைய இருதயத்திற்குள் உருவிப்போகும்; அவர்கள் வில்லுகள் முறியும்.

15. Their sword will cut into their own heart, and their bows will be broken.

16. அநேக துன்மார்க்கருக்குள்ள செல்வத்திரட்சியைப்பார்க்கிலும், நீதிமானுக்குள்ள கொஞ்சமே நல்லது.

16. The few things that the man right with God has is better than the riches of many sinful men.

17. துன்மார்க்கருடைய புயங்கள் முறியும்; நீதிமான்களையோ கர்த்தர் தாங்குகிறார்.

17. For the arms of the sinful will be broken. But the Lord holds up those who are right with Him.

18. உத்தமர்களின் நாட்களைக் கர்த்தர் அறிந்திருக்கிறார்; அவர்கள் சுதந்தரம் என்றென்றைக்கும் இருக்கும்.

18. The Lord knows the days of those who are without blame. And what is theirs will last forever.

19. அவர்கள் ஆபத்துக்காலத்திலே வெட்கப்பட்டுப்போகாதிருந்து, பஞ்சகாலத்திலே திருப்தியடைவார்கள்.

19. They will not be ashamed in the time of trouble. And in days when there is no food they will have enough.

20. துன்மார்க்கரோ அழிந்துபோவார்கள், கர்த்தருடைய சத்துருக்கள் ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகளின் நிணத்தைப்போல் புகைந்து போவார்கள், அவர்கள் புகையாய்ப் புகைந்து போவார்கள்.

20. But the sinful will be lost forever. Those who hate the Lord will be like the beauty of the fields. They will be gone. Like smoke they will be gone.

21. துன்மார்க்கன் கடன் வாங்கிச் செலுத்தாமற் போகிறான்; நீதிமானோ இரங்கிக்கொடுக்கிறான்.

21. The sinful ask for something, but do not return it. But those who are right with God are kind and give.

22. அவரால் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் பூமியைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளுவார்கள்; அவரால் சபிக்கப்பட்டவர்களோ அறுப்புண்டுபோவார்கள்.

22. For those who are made happy by Him will be given the land. But those who are being punished by Him will be cut off.

23. நல்ல மனுஷனுடைய நடைகள் கர்த்தரால் உறுதிப்படும், அவனுடைய வழியின்மேல் அவர் பிரியமாயிருக்கிறார்.

23. The steps of a good man are led by the Lord. And He is happy in his way.

24. அவன் விழுந்தாலும் தள்ளுண்டு போவதில்லை; கர்த்தர் தமது கையினால் அவனைத் தாங்குகிறார்.

24. When he falls, he will not be thrown down, because the Lord holds his hand.

25. நான் இளைஞனாயிருந்தேன், முதிர்வயதுள்ளவனுமானேன்; ஆனாலும் நீதிமான் கைவிடப்பட்டதையும், அவன் சந்ததி அப்பத்துக்கு இரந்து திரிகிறதையும் நான் காணவில்லை.

25. I have been young, and now I am old. Yet I have never seen the man who is right with God left alone, or his children begging for bread.

26. அவன் நித்தம் இரங்கிக் கடன் கொடுக்கிறான், அவன் சந்ததி ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்படும்.

26. All day long he is kind and lets others use what he has. And his children make him happy.

27. தீமையை விட்டு விலகி, நன்மை செய்; என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைத்திருப்பாய்.

27. Turn from sin, and do good, so you will live forever.

28. கர்த்தர் நியாயத்தை விரும்புகிறவர்; அவர் தமது பரிசுத்தவான்களைக் கைவிடுவதில்லை; அவர்கள் என்றைக்கும் காக்கப்படுவார்கள்; துன்மார்க்கருடைய சந்ததியோ அறுப்புண்டுபோகும்.

28. For the Lord loves what is fair and right. He does not leave the people alone who belong to Him. They are kept forever. But the children of the sinful will be cut off.

29. நீதிமான்கள் பூமியைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொண்டு, என்றைக்கும் அதிலே வாசமாயிருப்பார்கள்.

29. Those who are right with God will be given the land, and live on it forever.

30. நீதிமானுடைய வாய் ஞானத்தை உரைத்து, அவனுடைய நாவு நியாயத்தைப் பேசும்.

30. The mouth of the man who is right with God speaks wisdom. And his tongue speaks what is fair and right.

31. அவனுடைய தேவன் அருளிய வேதம் அவன் இருதயத்தில் இருக்கிறது; அவன் நடைகளில் ஒன்றும் பிசகுவதில்லை.

31. The Law of his God is in his heart. His steps do not leave it.

32. துன்மார்க்கன் நீதிமான்மேல் கண்வைத்து, அவனைக் கொல்ல வகைதேடுகிறான்.

32. The sinful lie in wait for the man who is right with God, and want to kill him.

33. கர்த்தரோ அவனை இவன் கையில் விடுவதில்லை; அவன் நியாயம் விசாரிக்கப்படுகையில், அவனை ஆக்கினைக்குள்ளாகத் தீர்ப்பதுமில்லை.

33. The Lord will not leave him in his power. He will not let him be found guilty when he is judged.

34. நீ கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திருந்து, அவருடைய வழியைக் கைக்கொள்; அப்பொழுது நீ பூமியைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்வதற்கு அவர் உன்னை உயர்த்துவார்; துன்மார்க்கர் அறுப்புண்டுபோவதை நீ காண்பாய்.

34. Wait for the Lord. Keep His way. And He will give you a high place to receive the land. When the sinful are cut off, you will see it.

35. கொடிய பலவந்தனான ஒரு துன்மார்க்கனைக் கண்டேன் அவன் தனக்கேற்ற நிலத்தில் முளைத்திருக்கிற பச்சைமரத்தைப்போல் தழைத்தவனாயிருந்தான்.

35. I have seen a very sinful man spreading himself like a green tree in its home land.

36. ஆனாலும் அவன் ஒழிந்துபோனான்; பாருங்கள், அவன் இல்லை; அவனைத் தேடினேன், அவன் காணப்படவில்லை.

36. Then he passed away and was no more. I looked for him. But he could not be found.

37. நீ உத்தமனை நோக்கி, செம்மையானவனைப் பார்த்திரு; அந்த மனுஷனுடைய முடிவு சமாதானம்.

37. Look at the man without blame. And watch the man who is right and good. For the man of peace will have much family to follow him.

38. அக்கிரமக்காரர் ஏகமாய் அழிக்கப்படுவார்கள்; அறுப்புண்டுபோவதே துன்மார்க்கரின் முடிவு.

38. But all the sinners will be destroyed. The family of the sinful will be cut off.

39. நீதிமான்களுடைய இரட்சிப்பு கர்த்தரால் வரும்; இக்கட்டுக்காலத்தில் அவரே அவர்கள் அடைக்கலம்.

39. But the saving of those who are right with God is from the Lord. He is their strength in time of trouble.

40. கர்த்தர் அவர்களுக்கு உதவிசெய்து, அவர்களை விடுவிப்பார்; அவர்கள் அவரை நம்பியிருக்கிறபடியால், அவர்களைத் துன்மார்க்கருடைய கைக்குத் தப்புவித்து இரட்சிப்பார்.

40. The Lord helps them and takes them out of trouble. He takes them away from the sinful, and saves them, because they go to Him for a safe place.
