1. கர்த்தாவே, நீர் என்னை ஆராய்ந்து, அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்.
ரோமர் 8:27

1. To the Chief Musician, David's. A Melody. O Yahweh! thou hast searched me, and observed:

2. என் உட்காருதலையும் என் எழுந்திருக்குதலையும் நீர் அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்; என் நினைவுகளைத் தூரத்திலிருந்து அறிகிறீர்.

2. Thou, hast observed my downsitting and mine uprising, Thou hast given heed to my desire, from afar:

3. நான் நடந்தாலும் படுத்திருந்தாலும் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்திருக்கிறீர்; என் வழிகளெல்லாம் உமக்குத் தெரியும்.

3. My path and my couch, hast thou examined, and, all my ways, thou well knowest.

4. என் நாவில் சொல் பிறவாததற்கு முன்னே, இதோ, கர்த்தாவே, அதையெல்லாம் நீர் அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்.

4. Surely there hath not been a word on my tongue, but behold! O Yahweh, thou hast observed it on every side.

5. முற்புறத்திலும் பிற்புறத்திலும் நீர் என்னை நெருக்கி, உமது கரத்தை என்மேல் வைக்கிறீர்.

5. Behind and before, hast thou shut me in, and hast laid upon me thy hand:

6. இந்த அறிவு எனக்கு மிகுந்த ஆச்சரியமும், எனக்கு எட்டாத உயரமுமாயிருக்கிறது.

6. Knowledge, too wonderful, for me! high, I cannot attain to it!

7. உம்முடைய ஆவிக்கு மறைவாக எங்கே போவேன்? உம்முடைய சமுகத்தைவிட்டு எங்கே ஓடுவேன்?

7. Whither can I go from thy spirit? or whither, from thy face, can I flee?

8. நான் வானத்திற்கு ஏறினாலும், நீர் அங்கே இருக்கிறீர்; நான் பாதாளத்தில் படுக்கை போட்டாலும், நீர் அங்கேயும் இருக்கிறீர்.

8. If I ascend the heavens, there, thou art! If I spread out hades as my couch, behold thee!

9. நான் விடியற்காலத்துச் செட்டைகளை எடுத்து, சமுத்திரத்தின் கடையாந்தரங்களிலே போய்த் தங்கினாலும்,

9. If I mount the wings of the dawn, settle down in the region beyond the sea,

10. அங்கேயும் உமது கை என்னை நடத்தும், உமது வலதுகரம் என்னைப் பிடிக்கும்.

10. Even there, thy hand shall lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.

11. இருள் என்னை மூடிக்கொள்ளுமென்றாலும், இரவும் என்னைச் சுற்றி வெளிச்சமாயிருக்கும்.

11. If I say, Surely, darkness, shall cover me! then, night, is light about me.

12. உமக்கு மறைவாக இருளும் அந்தகாரப்படுத்தாது; இரவும் பகலைப்போல வெளிச்சமாயிருக்கும்; உமக்கு இருளும் வெளிச்சமும் சரி.

12. Even darkness, will not conceal from thee, but, night, like day, will shine, So is the darkness, as the light!

13. நீர் என் உள்ளிந்திரியங்களைக் கைக்கொண்டிருக்கிறீர்; என் தாயின் கர்ப்பத்தில் என்னைக் காப்பாற்றினீர்.

13. For, thou, didst possess thyself of my reins, thou didst weave me together in the womb of my mother.

14. நான் பிரமிக்கத்தக்க அதிசயமாய் உண்டாக்கப்பட்டபடியால், உம்மைத் துதிப்பேன்; உமது கிரியைகள் அதிசயமானவைகள்; அது என் ஆத்துமாவுக்கு நன்றாய்த் தெரியும்.
வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 15:3

14. I thank thee, in that fearfully was my being distinguished, Wonderful are thy works, and, mine own soul, is observing them intently!

15. நான் ஒளிப்பிடத்திலே உண்டாக்கப்பட்டு, பூமியின் தாழ்விடங்களிலே விசித்திர விநோதமாய் உருவாக்கப்பட்டபோது, என் எலும்புகள் உமக்கு மறைவாயிருக்கவில்லை.

15. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, when I was skilfully figured in the lower parts of the earth.

16. என் கருவை உம்முடைய கண்கள் கண்டது; என் அவயவங்களில் ஒன்றாகிலும் இல்லாதபோதே அவைகள் அனைத்தும், அவைகள் உருவேற்படும் நாட்களும், உமது புஸ்தகத்தில் எழுதியிருந்தது.

16. Mine unfinished substance, thine eyes beheld, and, in thy book, all the parts thereof were written, the days they should be fashioned! while yet there was not one among them.

17. தேவனே, உமது ஆலோசனைகள் எனக்கு எத்தனை அருமையானவைகள்; அவைகளின் தொகை எவ்வளவு அதிகம்.

17. To me, then, how precious have thy desires become, O GOD! How numerous, the heads of them!

18. அவைகளை நான் எண்ணப்போனால், மணலைப்பார்க்கிலும் அதிகமாம்; நான் விழிக்கும்போது இன்னும் உம்மண்டையில் இருக்கிறேன்.

18. I would recount them! Beyond the sands, they multiply, I rouse myself and am still with thee.

19. தேவனே, நீர் துன்மார்க்கனை அழித்தீரானால் நலமாயிருக்கும்; இரத்தப்பிரியரே, நீங்கள் என்னை விட்டு அகன்றுபோங்கள்.

19. Wilt thou not, O GOD, slay the lawless one? Therefore, ye men of bloodshed, depart from me!

20. அவர்கள் உம்மைக் குறித்துத் துன்மார்க்கமாய்ப் பேசுகிறார்கள்; உம்முடைய சத்துருக்கள் உமது நாமத்தை வீணாய் வழங்குகிறார்கள்.

20. For they speak of thee wickedly, Thy foes lift up their hand unto falsehood.

21. கர்த்தாவே, உம்மைப் பகைக்கிறவர்களை நான் பகையாமலும், உமக்கு விரோதமாய் எழும்புகிறவர்களை அருவருக்காமலும் இருப்பேனோ?
வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 2:6

21. Do I not hate, them who hate thee, O Yahweh? And loathe, them who rise up against thee?

22. முழுப்பகையாய் அவர்களைப் பகைக்கிறேன்; அவர்களை எனக்குப் பகைஞராக எண்ணுகிறேன்.

22. With completeness of hatred, I hate them, As enemies, have they become to me.

23. தேவனே, என்னை ஆராய்ந்து, என் இருதயத்தை அறிந்துகொள்ளும்; என்னைச் சோதித்து, என் சிந்தனைகளை அறிந்துகொள்ளும்.

23. Search me, O GOD, and observe my heart, Try me, and observe my cares;

24. வேதனை உண்டாக்கும் வழி என்னிடத்தில் உண்டோ என்று பார்த்து, நித்திய வழியிலே என்னை நடத்தும்.

24. And see if there be any idol-way in me, and lead me in a way age-abiding.
