1. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் சபையெல்லாம் சீலோவிலே கூடி, அங்கே ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தை நிறுத்தினார்கள். தேசம் அவர்கள் வசமாயிற்று.
அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 7:45

1. And the whole congregation of the children of Israel came together at Silo, and set vp the tabernacle of the congregation there, after the land was in subiection before them.

2. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரில் தங்கள் சுதந்தரத்தை இன்னும் பங்கிட்டுக்கொள்ளாத ஏழு கோத்திரங்கள் இருந்தது.

2. And there remained among the children of Israel seuen tribes, which had not yet receaued their enheritaunce.

3. ஆகையால் யோசுவா இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரை நோக்கி: உங்கள் பிதாக்களின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்த தேசத்தைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளப்போகிறதற்கு, நீங்கள் எந்த மட்டும் அசதியாயிருப்பீர்கள்.

3. And Iosuah sayde vnto the children of Israel: Howe long are ye so slacke to come and possesse the lande whiche the Lord God of your fathers hath geuen you?

4. கோத்திரத்திற்கு மும்மூன்று மனுஷரைத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்; அவர்கள் எழுந்து புறப்பட்டு, தேசத்திலே சுற்றித்திரிந்து அதைத் தங்கள் சுதந்தரத்திற்குத்தக்கதாக விவரமாய் எழுதி, என்னிடத்தில் கொண்டுவரும்படி அவர்களை அனுப்புவேன்.

4. Geue out from among you for euery tribe three men, that I may sende them: and that they may ryse, and walke through the lande, and distribute it accordyng to the inheritaunce therof, & come againe to me.

5. அதை ஏழு பங்காகப் பகிரக்கடவர்கள்; யூதா வம்சத்தார் தெற்கேயிருக்கிற தங்கள் எல்லையிலும், யோசேப்பு வம்சத்தார் வடக்கேயிருக்கிற தங்கள் எல்லையிலும் நிலைத்திருக்கட்டும்.

5. And let them deuide it vnto them into seuen partes: And (Iuda shall abide in their coast on the south, and the house of Ioseph shall stande in their coastes on the north.)

6. நீங்கள் தேசத்தை ஏழு பங்காக விவரித்து எழுதி, இங்கே என்னிடத்தில் கொண்டுவாருங்கள்; அப்பொழுது இவ்விடத்திலே நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் உங்களுக்காகச் சீட்டுப்போடுவேன்.

6. Describe ye the lande therfore into seuen partes, and bryng the description hyther to me: and I shall cast lottes for you here before the Lord our God.

7. லேவியருக்கு உங்கள் நடுவே பங்கில்லை; கர்த்தருடைய ஆசாரியபட்டமே அவர்கள் சுதந்தரம்; காத்தும் ரூபனும் மனாசேயின் பாதிக் கோத்திரமும் யோர்தானுக்கு அப்புறத்திலே கிழக்கே கர்த்தரின் தாசனாகிய மோசே தங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்த தங்கள் சுதந்தரத்தை அடைந்து தீர்ந்தது என்றான்.

7. But the Leuites haue no part among you, for the priesthood of the Lorde is their inheritaunce: And Gad, and Ruben, and halfe the tribe of Manasses, haue receaued their inheritaunce beyond Iordan eastward, which Moyses the seruaunt of the Lord gaue them.

8. அப்பொழுது அந்த மனுஷர் எழுந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போனார்கள்; தேசத்தைக் குறித்து விவரம் எழுதப்போகிறவர்களை யோசுவா நோக்கி: நீங்கள் போய், தேசத்திலே சுற்றித்திரிந்து, அதின் விவரத்தை எழுதி, என்னிடத்தில் திரும்பிவாருங்கள்; அப்பொழுது இங்கே சீலோவிலே கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் உங்களுக்காகச் சீட்டுப்போடுவேன் என்று சொன்னான்.

8. And the men arose, and went their waye: And Iosuah charged them that went to describe the lande, saying: Depart, and go through the lande, and describe it, and come againe to me, that I may here cast lottes for you before the Lorde in Silo.

9. அந்த மனுஷர் போய், தேசம் எங்கும் அந்தந்தப் பட்டணங்களின்படியே ஏழுபங்காக ஒரு புஸ்தகத்தில் எழுதிக்கொண்டு, சீலோவில் இருக்கிற பாளயத்திலே யோசுவாவினிடத்தில் வந்தார்கள்.

9. And the men departed, and walked through the lande, and described it by cities into seuen partes in a booke, and returned to Iosuah into ye hoast at Silo.

10. அப்பொழுது யோசுவா அவர்களுக்காகச் சீலோவிலே கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் சீட்டுப்போட்டு, அங்கே இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்கு தேசத்தை அவர்கள் பங்குவீதப்படி பங்கிட்டான்.

10. And Iosuah cast lottes for them in Silo before the Lorde: & there Iosuah diuided the lande vnto the children of Israel, to eche their portion.

11. பென்யமீன் புத்திரருக்கு அவர்களுடைய வம்சங்களின்படியே அவர்களுடைய கோத்திரத்துக்குச் சீட்டு விழுந்தது; அவர்கள் பங்கு வீதத்தின் எல்லையானது யூதா புத்திரருக்கும் யோசேப்பு புத்திரருக்கும் நடுவே இருந்தது.

11. And the lot of the tribe of the children of Beniamin came vp according to their kinredes: And the coast of their lot came betweene the children of Iuda, and the children of Ioseph.

12. அவர்களுடைய வட எல்லை, யோர்தானிலிருந்து வந்து, எரிகோவுக்கு வடபக்கமாய்ச் சென்று, அப்புறம் மேற்கே மலையில் ஏறி, பெத்தாவேன் வனாந்தரத்தில் போய் முடியும்.

12. And their north coast was from Iordane, & went vp to the side of Iericho on the north side, and went vp through the mountaines westwarde, and they ended at the wildernesse of Bethauen.

13. அங்கேயிருந்து அந்த எல்லை, பெத்தேலாகிய லூசுக்கு வந்து, லூசுக்குத் தென்பக்கமாய்ப் போய், அதரோத்அதாருக்குத் தாழ்வான பெத்தொரோனுக்குத் தெற்கேயிருக்கிற மலையருகே இறங்கும்.

13. And went from thence toward Luz, euen to the south side of Luz (the same is Bethel) & descended againe to Ataroth Adar, vnto the hyll that lyeth on the south side of ye neather Bethhoron.

14. அங்கேயிருந்து எல்லை மேற்குமூலைக்குப் பெத்தொரோனுக்கு எதிரே தெற்காக இருக்கிற மலைக்குத் தென்புறமாய்ப் போய்த் திரும்பி, கீரியாத்பாகால் என்னப்பட்ட யூதா புத்திரரின் பட்டணமாகிய கீரியாத்யெயாரீம் அருகே போய் முடியும்; இது மேற்கு எல்லை.

14. And the coast turneth thence, & compasseth the corner of the sea southward, euen from the hyll that lyeth before Bethhoron southward, and goeth out at Kiriathbaal (which is Kiriath Iarim) a citie of the childre of Iuda: This is the west quarter.

15. தென் எல்லை கீரியாத்யெயாரீமின் முடிவிலிருக்கிறது; அங்கேயிருந்து எல்லை மேற்கே போய், நெப்தோவாவின் நீரூற்றிற்குச் சென்று,

15. And the south coast goeth from the ende of Kiriathiarim, and goeth out westwarde, and thence it turneth to the well of waters of Nephthoah,

16. அங்கேயிருந்து இராட்சதரின் பள்ளத்தாக்கில் வடக்கேயிருக்கிற இன்னோமுடைய குமாரரின் பள்ளத்தாக்குக்கு எதிரான மலையடிவாரத்திற்கு இறங்கி, அப்புறம் தெற்கே எபூசியருக்குப் பக்கமான இன்னோமின் பள்ளத்தாக்குக்கும், அங்கேயிருந்து என்ரொகேலுக்கும் இறங்கிவந்து,

16. And commeth downe againe to the end of the hyll that lyeth before the valley of the sonne of Hennom, euen in the valley of the giauntes northwarde, and descendeth into the valley of Hennom beside Iebusi southward, & goeth downe to the well of Rogel,

17. வடக்கே போய், என்சேமேசுக்கும், அங்கேயிருந்து அதும்மீம் மேட்டுக்கு எதிரான கெலிலோத்திற்கும், அங்கேயிருந்து ரூபன் குமாரனாகிய போகனின் கல்லினிடத்திற்கும் இறங்கிவந்து,

17. And compasseth from the north, and goeth foorth to En shemesh, and departeth from thence to the places of Geliloth, whiche are towarde the going vp vnto Adommim: and goeth downe to the stone of Bohan the sonne of Ruben.

18. அராபாவுக்கு எதிரான வடபக்கமாய்ப் போய், அராபாவுக்கு இறங்கும்.

18. And then goeth along toward the side of the plaine northward, and goeth downe into the fieldes.

19. அப்புறம் அந்த எல்லை, பெத்ஓக்லாவுக்கு வடபக்கமாய்ப் போய், யோர்தானின் முகத்துவாரத்திற்குத் தெற்கான உப்புக்கடலின் வடமுனையிலே முடிந்துபோகும்; இது தென் எல்லை.

19. And goeth along to the syde of Bethhagla northwarde, and endureth the poynt of the salt sea north therefrom, [euen] at the south ende of Iordane: This is the south coast.

20. கிழக்குப்புறத்தின் எல்லை யோர்தானே; இது பென்யமீன் புத்திரருக்கு அவர்களுடைய வம்சங்களின்படி சுற்றிலும் இருக்கிற எல்லைகளுக்குள்ளான சுதந்தரம்.

20. And Iordane kepeth in this coast on the east syde: And this is the inheritaunce of the chyldren of Beniamin by their coastes rounde about, throughout their kinredes.

21. பென்யமீன் புத்திரரின் கோத்திரத்திற்கு அவர்களுடைய வம்சங்களின்படி இருக்கிற பட்டணங்களாவன: எரிகோ, பெத்ஓக்லா, கேசீஸ் பள்ளத்தாக்கு,

21. These were the cities of the tribes of the chyldren of Beniamin throughout their kinredes: Iericho, Bethhagla, and the plaine of Casis.

22. பெத்அரபா, செமராயிம், பெத்தேல்,

22. Betharabah, Samaraim, and Bethel.

23. ஆவீம், பாரா. ஓப்ரா,

23. Auim, Parah, and Ophrah,

24. கேப்பார்அமோனாய், ஒப்னி, காபா என்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பட்டணங்களும் அவைகளின் கிராமங்களுமே.

24. Haamonai, Ophni, & Gaba, twelue cities with their villages.

25. கிபியோன், ராமா, பேரோத்,

25. Gabaon, Ramah, Beeroth,

26. மிஸ்பே, கெப்பிரா, மோத்சா,

26. Mispeh, Chephirah, and Mosah,

27. ரெக்கேம், இர்பெயெல், தாராலா,

27. Recem, Iarephel, and Tharela,

28. சேலா, ஏலேப், எருசலேமாகிய எபூசி, கீபெயாத், கீரேயாத் என்னும் பதினான்கு பட்டணங்களும் அவைகளின் கிராமங்களுமே; பென்யமீன் புத்திரருக்கு அவர்கள் வம்சங்களின்படி இருக்கிற சுதந்தரம் இதுவே.

28. Sela, Eleph, and Iebusi (which is Hierusalem) Gibath, and Ciriath, fourteene cities with their villages. This is the inheritaunce of the chyldren of Beniamin throughout their kinredes.
