1. நீதியைச் சரிக்கட்டுகிற தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, நீதியைச் சரிக்கட்டுகிற தேவனே, பிரகாசியும்.
1 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 4:6

1. LORD, avenging God, avenging God, shine forth!

2. பூமியின் நியாயாதிபதியே, நீர் எழுந்து, பெருமைக்காரருக்குப் பதிலளியும்.

2. Rise up, judge of the earth; give the proud what they deserve.

3. கர்த்தாவே, துன்மார்க்கர் எதுவரைக்கும் மகிழ்ந்து, துன்மார்க்கர் எதுவரைக்கும் களிகூர்ந்திருப்பார்கள்?

3. How long, LORD, shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked glory?

4. எதுவரைக்கும் அக்கிரமக்காரர் யாவரும் வாயாடி, கடினமாய்ப் பேசி, பெருமைபாராட்டுவார்கள்?

4. How long will they mouth haughty speeches, go on boasting, all these evildoers?

5. கர்த்தாவே, அவர்கள் உமது ஜனத்தை நொறுக்கி, உமது சுதந்தரத்தை ஒடுக்குகிறார்கள்.

5. They crush your people, LORD, torment your very own.

6. விதவையையும் பரதேசியையும் கொன்று, திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைகளைக் கொலைசெய்து:

6. They kill the widow and alien; the fatherless they murder.

7. கர்த்தர் பாரார், யாக்கோபின் தேவன் கவனியார் என்று சொல்லுகிறார்கள்.

7. They say, 'The LORD does not see; the God of Jacob takes no notice.'

8. ஜனத்தில் மிருககுணமுள்ளவர்களே, உணர்வடையுங்கள்; மூடரே, எப்பொழுது புத்திமான்களாவீர்கள்?

8. Understand, you stupid people! You fools, when will you be wise?

9. காதை உண்டாக்கினவர் கேளாரோ? கண்ணை உருவாக்கினவர் காணாரோ?

9. Does the one who shaped the ear not hear? The one who formed the eye not see?

10. ஜாதிகளை தண்டிக்கிறவர் கடிந்துகொள்ளாரோ? மனுஷனுக்கு அறிவைப் போதிக்கிறவர் அறியாரோ?

10. Does the one who guides nations not rebuke? The one who teaches humans not have knowledge?

11. மனுஷனுடைய யோசனைகள் வீணென்று கர்த்தர் அறிந்திருக்கிறார்.

11. The LORD does know human plans; they are only puffs of air.

12. கர்த்தாவே, துன்மார்க்கனுக்குக் குழிவெட்டப்படும்வரைக்கும், நீர் தீங்கு நாட்களில் அமர்ந்திருக்கப்பண்ணி,

12. Happy those whom you guide, LORD, whom you teach by your instruction.

13. சிட்சித்து, உம்முடைய வேதத்தைக்கொண்டு போதிக்கிற மனுஷன் பாக்கியவான்.

13. You give them rest from evil days, while a pit is being dug for the wicked.

14. கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய ஜனத்தை நெகிழவிடாமலும், தம்முடைய சுதந்தரத்தைக் கைவிடாமலும் இருப்பார்.
ரோமர் 11:1-2

14. You, LORD, will not forsake your people, nor abandon your very own.

15. நியாயம் நீதியினிடமாகத் திரும்பும்; செம்மையான இருதயத்தார் யாவரும் அதைப் பின்பற்றுவார்கள்.

15. Judgment shall again be just, and all the upright of heart will follow it.

16. துன்மார்க்கருக்கு விரோதமாய் என் பட்சத்தில் எழும்புகிறவன் யார்? அக்கிரமக்காரருக்கு விரோதமாய் என் பட்சத்தில் நிற்பவன் யார்?

16. Who will rise up for me against the wicked? Who will stand up for me against evildoers?

17. கர்த்தர் எனக்குத் துணையாயிராவிட்டால், என் ஆத்துமா சீக்கிரமாய் மவுனத்தில் வாசம் பண்ணியிருக்கும்.

17. If the LORD were not my help, I would long have been silent in the grave.

18. என் கால் சறுக்குகிறது என்று நான் சொல்லும்போது, கர்த்தாவே, உமது கிருபை என்னைத் தாங்குகிறது.

18. When I say, 'My foot is slipping,' your love, LORD, holds me up.

19. என் உள்ளத்தில் விசாரங்கள் பெருகுகையில், உம்முடைய ஆறுதல்கள் என் ஆத்துமாவைத் தேற்றுகிறது.

19. When cares increase within me, your comfort gives me joy.

20. தீமையைக் கட்டளையினால் பிறப்பிக்கிற கொடுங்கோலாசனம் உமக்கு இசைந்திருக்குமோ?

20. Can unjust judges be your allies, those who create burdens in the name of law,

21. அவர்கள் நீதிமானுடைய ஆத்துமாவுக்கு விரோதமாய்க் கூட்டங்கூடி, குற்றமில்லாத இரத்தத்தைக் குற்றப்படுத்துகிறார்கள்.

21. Those who conspire against the just and condemn the innocent to death?

22. கர்த்தரோ எனக்கு அடைக்கலமும், என் தேவன் நான் நம்பியிருக்கிற கன்மலையுமாயிருக்கிறார்.

22. No, the LORD is my secure height, my God, the rock where I find refuge,

23. அவர்களுடைய அக்கிரமத்தை அவர்கள்மேல் திருப்பி, அவர்களுடைய பொல்லாப்பினிமித்தம் அவர்களைச் சங்கரிப்பார்; நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரே அவர்களைச் சங்கரிப்பார்.

23. Who will turn back their evil upon them and destroy them for their wickedness. Surely the LORD our God will destroy them!
