1. i1 [To the Chief Musician. Muthlabben. A Psalm of David.] i0 par I will praise You, O Jehovah, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works.

2. உம்மில் மகிழ்ந்து களிகூருவேன்; உன்னதமானவரே, உமது நாமத்தைக் கீர்த்தனம் பண்ணுவேன்.

2. I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.

3. என் சத்துருக்கள் பின்னாகத் திரும்பும்போது, உமது சமுகத்தில் அவர்கள் இடறுண்டு அழிந்துபோவார்கள்.

3. When my enemies have turned back, they shall fall and perish at Your presence.

4. For You have maintained my right and my cause; You sat on the throne judging in righteousness.

5. You have rebuked the nations, You have destroyed the wicked, You have blotted out their name forever and ever.

6. சத்துருக்கள் என்றென்றைக்கும் பாழாக்கப்பட்டார்கள்; அவர்கள் பட்டணங்களை நிர்மூலமாக்கினீர்; அவர்களைப் பற்றிய நினைவும் அற்றுப் போயிற்று.

6. The desolations of the enemy have come to an end forever, and You have destroyed the cities; the remembrance of them has perished with them.

7. கர்த்தரோ என்றென்றைக்கும் வீற்றிருப்பார்; தம்முடைய சிங்காசனத்தை நியாயத்தீர்ப்புக்கென்று எற்படுத்தியிருக்கிறார்.

7. But Jehovah shall endure forever; He has prepared His throne for justice.

8. அவர் பூவுலகை நீதியாய் நியாயந்தீர்த்து, சகல ஜனங்களுக்கும் செம்மையாய் நீதிசெய்வார்.

8. And He shall judge the world in righteousness; He shall execute judgment to the people with equity.

9. சிறுமைப்பட்டவனுக்குக் கர்த்தர் அடைக்கலமானவர்; நெருக்கப்படுகிற காலங்களில் அவரே தஞ்சமானவர்.

9. Jehovah also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of distress.

10. கர்த்தாவே, உம்மைத் தேடுகிறவர்களை நீர் கைவிடுகிறதில்லை; ஆதலால், உமது நாமத்தை அறிந்தவர்கள் உம்மை நம்பியிருப்பார்கள்.

10. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; for You, Jehovah, have not forsaken those who seek You.

11. சீயோனில் வாசமாயிருக்கிற கர்த்தரைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணி, அவர் செய்கைகளை ஜனங்களுக்குள்ளே அறிவியுங்கள்.

11. Sing praises to Jehovah, who dwells in Zion; declare His deeds among the nations.

12. எனெனில் இரத்தப்பழிகளைக்குறித்து அவர் விசாரணை செய்யும்போது, அவர்களை நினைக்கிறார்; சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்களுடைய கூக்குரலை மறவார்.

12. When He investigates bloodshed, He forgets not the cry of the lowly.

13. மரணவாசல்களிலிருந்து என்னைத் தூக்கிவிடுகிற கர்த்தாவே, நான் உம்முடைய துதிகளையெல்லாம் சீயோன் குமாரத்தியின் வாசல்களில் விவரித்து, உம்முடைய இரட்சிப்பினால் களிகூரும்படிக்கு,

13. Have mercy upon me, O Jehovah; look upon my affliction from those who hate me, You who lift me up from the gates of death,

14. தேவரீர் எனக்கு இரங்கி, என்னைப் பகைக்கிறவர்களால் எனக்குவரும் துன்பத்தை நோக்கிப்பாரும்.

14. so that I may declare all Your praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion. I will rejoice in Your salvation.

15. ஜாதிகள் தாங்கள் வெட்டின குழியில் தாங்களே விழுந்தார்கள்: அவர்கள் மறைவாய் வைத்த வலையில் அவர்களுடைய கால்களே அகப்பட்டுக்கொண்டன.

15. The nations have sunk down in the pit that they made; their own foot is caught in the net which they hid.

16. கர்த்தர் தாம் செய்த நியாயத்தினால் அறியப்படுகிறார்; துன்மார்க்கன் தன் கைகளின் செய்கையிலே சிக்கிக்கொண்டான். (இகாயோன், சேலா.)

16. Jehovah is known. He has executed judgment; the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.

17. துன்மார்க்கரும், தேவனை மறக்கிற எல்லா ஜாதிகளும், நரகத்திலே தள்ளப்படுவார்கள்.

17. The wicked shall be turned away into Sheol, all the nations that forget God.

18. எளியவன் என்றைக்கும் மறக்கப்படுவதில்லை; சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்களுடைய நம்பிக்கை ஒருபோதும் கெட்டுப்போவதில்லை.

18. For the needy shall not always be forgotten; the expectation of the poor shall not perish forever.

19. எழுந்தருளும் கர்த்தாவே, மனுஷன் பெலன்கொள்ளாதபடி செய்யும்; ஜாதிகள் உம்முடைய சமுகத்தில் நியாயந்தீர்க்கப்படக்கடவர்கள்.

19. Arise, O Jehovah; let not man prevail. Let the nations be judged before Your face.

20. ஜாதிகள் தங்களை மனுஷர்தான் என்று அறியும்படிக்கு, அவர்களுக்குப் பயமுண்டாக்கும், கர்த்தாவே. (சேலா)

20. Put them in fear, O Jehovah; let the nations know that they are but men. Selah.
