1. கர்த்தாவே, உமது தேசத்தின்மேல் பிரியம் வைத்து, யாக்கோபின் சிறையிருப்பைத் திருப்பினீர்.

1. [To the chiefe musition, a psalme of the sonnes of Corach.] O God, thou art become gracious vnto thy land: thou hast brought Iacob agayne home out of captiuitie.

2. உமது ஜனத்தின் அக்கிரமத்தை மன்னித்து, அவர்கள் பாவத்தையெல்லாம் மூடினீர். (சேலா)

2. Thou hast forgeuen the wickednes of thy people: and couered all their sinnes. Selah.

3. உமது உக்கிரத்தையெல்லாம் அடக்கிக்கொண்டு, உமது கோபத்தின் எரிச்சலைவிட்டுத் திரும்பினீர்.

3. Thou hast taken away al thy displeasure: and turned thy selfe from thy wrathfull indignation.

4. எங்கள் இரட்சிப்பின் தேவனே, நீர் எங்களைத் திருப்பிக் கொண்டுவாரும், எங்கள்மேலுள்ள உமது கோபத்தை ஆறப்பண்ணும்.

4. Turne vs O God of our saluation: and let thyne anger ceasse from vs.

5. என்றைக்கும் எங்கள்மேல் கோபமாயிருப்பீரோ? தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக உமது கோபத்தை நீடித்திருக்கப்பண்ணுவீரோ?

5. Wilt thou be displeased at vs for euer? and wylt thou stretche out thy wrath from one generation to another,

6. உமது ஜனங்கள் உம்மில் மகிழ்ந்திருக்கும்படி நீர் எங்களைத் திரும்ப உயிர்ப்பிக்கமாட்டீரோ?

6. Wylt thou not turne agayne and reuiue vs: that thy people may reioyce in thee?

7. கர்த்தாவே, உமது கிருபையை எங்களுக்குக் காண்பித்து, உமது இரட்சிப்பை எங்களுக்கு அருளிச்செய்யும்.

7. Shew vs thy louing kindnes O God: and graunt vs thy saluation.

8. கர்த்தராகிய தேவன் விளம்புவதைக் கேட்பேன்; அவர் தம்முடைய ஜனங்களுக்கும் தம்முடைய பரிசுத்தவான்களுக்கும் சமாதானம் கூறுவார்; அவர்களோ மதிகேட்டுக்குத் திரும்பாதிருப்பார்களாக.

8. I wyll hearken what God the Lord saith: for he speaketh peace vnto his people & to his saintes, that they turne not agayne to folly.

9. நம்முடைய தேசத்தில் மகிமை வாசமாயிருக்கும்படி, அவருடைய இரட்சிப்பு அவருக்குப் பயந்தவர்களுக்குச் சமீபமாயிருக்கிறது.

9. For truely his saluation is nye them that feare him: insomuch that glory dwelleth in our earth.

10. கிருபையும், சத்தியமும் ஒன்றையொன்று சந்திக்கும், நீதியும் சமாதானமும் ஒன்றையொன்று முத்தஞ்செய்யும்.

10. Mercy and trueth are met together: righteousnes and peace haue kissed [eche other.]

11. சத்தியம் பூமியிலிருந்து முளைக்கும், நீதி வானத்திலிருந்து தாழப்பார்க்கும்.

11. Trueth shall bud out of the earth: and ryghteousnes shall looke downe from heauen.

12. கர்த்தர் நன்மையானதைத் தருவார்; நம்முடைய தேசமும் தன் பலனைக் கொடுக்கும்.

12. Yea, God shall geue all that is good: and our earth shall geue her encrease.

13. நீதி அவருக்கு முன்னாகச் சென்று, அவருடைய அடிச்சுவடுகளின் வழியிலே நம்மை நிறுத்தும்.

13. [Euery man] shall cause righteousnes to go before him: and he shall direct his steppes in the way.
