1. தேவன் எழுந்தருளுவார், அவருடைய சத்துருக்கள் சிதறுண்டு, அவரைப் பகைக்கிறவர்கள் அவருக்கு முன்பாக ஓடிப்போவார்கள்.

1. To the chanter, a Psalm and song of David. Let God arise, so shall his enemies be scattered, and they that hate him, shall flee before him.

2. புகை பறக்கடிக்கப்படுவதுபோல அவர்களைப் பறக்கடிப்பீர்; மெழுகு அக்கினிக்குமுன் உருகுவதுபோல துன்மார்க்கர் தேவனுக்குமுன் அழிவார்கள்.

2. Like as the smoke vanisheth, so shalt thou drive them away: and like as wax melteth at the fire, so shall the ungodly perish at the presence of God.

3. நீதிமான்களோ தேவனுக்குமுன்பாக மகிழ்ந்து களிகூர்ந்து, ஆனந்த சந்தோஷமடைவார்கள்.

3. But the righteous shall be glad and rejoice before God, they shall be merry and joyful.

4. தேவனைப் பாடி, அவருடைய நாமத்தைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுங்கள்; வனாந்தரங்களில் ஏறிவருகிறவருக்கு வழியை ஆயத்தப்படுத்துங்கள்; அவருடைய நாமம் யேகோவா, அவருக்கு முன்பாகக் களிகூருங்கள்.

4. Oh sing unto God, sing praises to his name: magnify him that rideth above the heavens (whose name is the LORD) and rejoice before him.

5. தம்முடைய பரிசுத்த வாசஸ்தலத்திலிருக்கிற தேவன், திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைகளுக்குத் தகப்பனும், விதவைகளுக்கு நியாயம் விசாரிக்கிறவருமாயிருக்கிறார்.

5. He is a father of the fatherless, he is a defender of widows: even God in his holy habitation.

6. தேவன் தனிமையானவர்களுக்கு வீடுவாசல் ஏற்படுத்தி, கட்டுண்டவர்களை விடுதலையாக்குகிறார்; துரோகிகளோ வறண்ட பூமியில் தங்குவார்கள்.

6. He is the God that maketh men to be of one mind in a house, and bringeth the prisoners out of captivity in due season, but letteth the runagates continue in scarceness.

7. தேவனே, நீர் உம்முடைய ஜனங்களுக்கு முன்னே சென்று, அவாந்தரவெளியிலே நடந்து வருகையில். (சேலா)

7. O God, when thou wentest forth before the(thy) people, when thou wentest thorow the wilderness. Selah:

8. பூமி அதிர்ந்தது; தேவனாகிய உமக்கு முன்பாக வானமும் பொழிந்தது; இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாயிருக்கிற தேவனுக்கு முன்பாகவே இந்தச் சீனாய்மலையும் அசைந்தது.

8. The earth shook, and the heavens dropped at the presence of God in Sinai, at the presence of God, which is the God of Israel.

9. தேவனே, சம்பூரண மழையைப் பெய்யப்பண்ணினீர்; இளைத்துப்போன உமது சுதந்தரத்தைத் திடப்படுத்தினீர்.

9. Thou, O God sendest a gracious rain, upon thine inheritance, and refreshest it, when it is dry.

10. உம்முடைய மந்தை அதிலே தங்கியிருந்தது; தேவனே, உம்முடைய தயையினாலே ஏழைகளைப் பராமரிக்கிறீர்.

10. That thy beasts may dwell therein, which thou of thy goodness hast prepared for the poor.

11. ஆண்டவர் வசனம் தந்தார்; அதைப் பிரசித்தப்படுத்துகிறவர்களின் கூட்டம் மிகுதி.

11. The Lord(LORDE) shall give the word, with great hosts of Evangelists.

12. சேனைகளின் ராஜாக்கள் தத்தளித்து ஓடினார்கள்; வீட்டிலிருந்த ஸ்திரீயானவள் கொள்ளைப்பொருளைப் பங்கிட்டாள்.

12. Kings with their armies shall flee, and they of the household shall divide the spoil.

13. நீங்கள் அடுப்பினடியில் கிடந்தவர்களாயிருந்தாலும், வெள்ளியால் அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்ட புறாச்சிறகுகள் போலவும், பசும்பொன் நிறமாகிய அதின் இறகுகளின் சாயலாகவும் இருப்பீர்கள்.

13. If so be that ye lie among the pales, the dove's feathers shall be covered with silver, and her wings the color of gold.

14. சர்வவல்லவர் அதில் ராஜாக்களைச் சிதறடித்தபோது, அது சல்மோன் மலையின் உறைந்த மழைபோல் வெண்மையாயிற்று.

14. When the Almighty setteth kings upon the earth, it shall be clear even in the darkness.

15. தேவபர்வதம் பாசான் பர்வதம் போலிருக்கிறது; பாசான் பர்வதம் உயர்ந்த சிகரங்களுள்ளது.

15. The hill of Basan is God's hill, the hill of Basan is a plenteous hill.

16. உயர்ந்த சிகரமுள்ள பர்வதங்களே, ஏன் துள்ளுகிறீர்கள்; இந்தப் பர்வதத்தில் வாசமாயிருக்க தேவன் விரும்பினார்; ஆம், கர்த்தர் இதிலே என்றென்றைக்கும் வாசமாயிருப்பார்.

16. Why hop ye so, ye great hills? It pleaseth God to dwell upon this hill, yea the LORD will abide in it for ever.

17. தேவனுடைய இரதங்கள் பதினாயிரங்களும், ஆயிரமாயிரங்களுமாயிருக்கிறது; ஆண்டவர் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலமான சீனாயிலிருந்த வண்ணமாய் அவைகளுக்குள் இருக்கிறார்.

17. The chariots of God are many thousand times a thousand, the Lord(LORDE) is among them in the holy Sinai.

18. தேவரீர் உன்னதத்திற்கு ஏறி, சிறைப்பட்டவர்களைச் சிறையாக்கிக் கொண்டுபோனீர்; தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் மனுஷருக்குள் வாசம்பண்ணும்பொருட்டு, துரோகிகளாகிய மனுஷர்களுக்காகவும் வரங்களைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டீர்.

18. Thou art gone up on high,(an hye) thou hast led captivity captive, and received gifts for men: yea even for thine enemies, that they might dwell with the LORD God.

19. எந்நாளும் ஆண்டவருக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரமுண்டாவதாக; நம்மேல் பாரஞ்சுமத்தினாலும் நம்மை இரட்சிக்கிற தேவன் அவரே. (சேலா)

19. Praised be the Lord(LORDE) daily, even the God which helpeth us, and poureth his benefits upon us. Selah.

20. நம்முடைய தேவன் இரட்சிப்பை அருளும் தேவனாயிருக்கிறார்; ஆண்டவராகிய கர்த்தரால் மரணத்திற்கு நீங்கும் வழிகளுண்டு.

20. The God that is our Saviour, even GOD the Lord by whom we escape death.

21. மெய்யாகவே தேவன் தம்முடைய சத்துருக்களின் சிரசையும், தன் அக்கிரமங்களில் துணிந்து நடக்கிறவனுடைய மயிருள்ள உச்சந்தலையையும் உடைப்பார்.

21. The God that smiteth the(his) enemies upon the heads and upon the hairy scalps: such as go on still in their wickedness.

22. உன் கால்கள் சத்துருக்களின் இரத்தத்தில் பதியும்படியாகவும், உன் நாய்களின் நாவு அதை நக்கும்படியாகவும்,

22. The Lord hath said: some will I bring away from Basan, some will I bring again from the deep of the sea.

23. என்னுடைய ஜனத்தைப் பாசானிலிருந்து திரும்ப அழைத்து வருவேன்; அதைச் சமுத்திர ஆழங்களிலிருந்தும் திரும்ப அழைத்து வருவேன் என்று ஆண்டவர் சொன்னார்.

23. That thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, and that thy dogs may lick it up.

24. தேவனே, உம்முடைய நடைகளைக் கண்டார்கள்; என் தேவனும் என் ராஜாவும் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திலே நடந்து வருகிற நடைகளையே கண்டார்கள்.

24. It is well seen, O God, how thou goest, how thou my God and King goest in the Sanctuary.

25. முன்னாகப் பாடுகிறவர்களும், பின்னாக வீணைகளை வாசிக்கிறவர்களும், சுற்றிலும் தம்புரு வாசிக்கிற கன்னிகைகளும் நடந்தார்கள்.

25. The singers go before, and then the minstrels among the maidens with the tumbrels.

26. இஸ்ரவேலின் ஊற்றிலிருந்து தோன்றினவர்களே, சபைகளின் நடுவே ஆண்டவராகிய தேவனை ஸ்தோத்திரியுங்கள்.

26. O give thanks unto God the LORD(Lorde)(the LORDE) in the congregation, for the wells of Israel.

27. அங்கே அவர்களை ஆளுகிற சின்ன பென்யமீனும், யூதாவின் பிரபுக்களும், அவர்கள் கூட்டமும், செபுலோனின் பிரபுக்களும், நப்தலியின் பிரபுக்களும் உண்டு.

27. There little Benjamin, the princes of Judah, the princes of Zabulon, and the princes of Nephtali bear rule among them.

28. உன் தேவன் உனக்குப் பலத்தைக் கட்டளையிட்டார்; தேவனே, நீர் எங்கள் நிமித்தம் உண்டு பண்ணினதைத் திடப்படுத்தும்.

28. Thy God hath committed strength unto thee, stablish the thing, O God, that thou hast wrought in us.

29. எருசலேமிலுள்ள உம்முடைய ஆலயத்தினிமித்தம், ராஜாக்கள் உமக்குக் காணிக்கைகளைக் கொண்டு வருவார்கள்.

29. For thy temple's sake at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee.

30. நாணலிலுள்ள மிருககூட்டத்தையும், ஜனங்களாகிய கன்றுகளோடுகூட ரிஷப கூட்டத்தையும் அதட்டும்; ஒவ்வொருவனும் வெள்ளிப்பணங்களைக் கொண்டுவந்து பணிந்துகொள்ளுவான்; யுத்தங்களில் பிரியப்படுகிற ஜனங்களைச் சிதறடிப்பார்.

30. Reprove the beasts among the reeds, the heap of bulls with the calves: those that drive for money. Oh scatter the people that delight in battle.

31. பிரபுக்கள் எகிப்திலிருந்து வருவார்கள்; எத்தியோப்பியா தேவனை நோக்கி கையெடுக்கத் தீவிரிக்கும்.

31. The princes shall come out of Egypt, the Morians land shall stretch out her hands unto God.

32. பூமியின் ராஜ்யங்களே, தேவனைப் பாடி, ஆண்டவரைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுங்கள். (சேலா)

32. Sing unto God, O ye kingdoms of the earth: O sing praises unto the Lord.(LORDE) Selah.

33. ஆதிமுதலாயிருக்கிற வானாதி வானங்களின்மேல் எழுந்தருளியிருக்கிறவரைப் பாடுங்கள்; இதோ, தமது சத்தத்தைப் பலத்த சத்தமாய் முழங்கப்பண்ணுகிறார்.

33. Which setteth in the heavens over all from the beginning: Lo, he shall send out his voice, yea and that a mighty voice.

34. தேவனுடைய வல்லமையைப் பிரசித்தப்படுத்துங்கள்; அவருடைய மகிமை இஸ்ரவேலின்மேலும், அவருடைய வல்லமை மேகமண்டலங்களிலும் உள்ளது.

34. Ascribe ye the power unto God, his glory is in Israel, and his might in the clouds.

35. தேவனே, உமது பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலங்களிலிருந்து பயங்கரமாய் விளங்குகிறீர்; இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவன் தம்முடைய ஜனங்களுக்குப் பெலனையும் சத்துவத்தையும் அருளுகிறவர்; தேவனுக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரமுண்டாவதாக.

35. God is wonderful in his Sanctuary, he is the God of Israel, he will give strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God.
