1. யோபு பின்னும் தன் பிரசங்கவாக்கியத்தைத் தொடர்ந்து சொன்னது:

1. Moreouer Iob proceeded and continued his parable, saying,

2. என் சுவாசம் என்னிலும், தேவன் தந்த ஆவி என் நாசியிலும் இருக்குமட்டும்,

2. The liuing God hath taken away my iudgement: for the Almightie hath put my soule in bitternesse.

3. என் உதடுகள் தீமையைச் சொல்வதுமில்லை; என் நாக்கு கபடம் பேசுவதுமில்லையென்று,

3. Yet so long as my breath is in me, and the Spirit of God in my nostrels,

4. என் நியாயத்தைத் தள்ளிவிடுகிற தேவனும், என் ஆத்துமாவைக் கசப்பாக்குகிற சர்வவல்லவருமானவருடைய ஜீவனைக்கொண்டு சொல்லுகிறேன்.

4. My lips surely shall speake no wickednesse, and my tongue shall vtter no deceite.

5. நீங்கள் பேசுகிறது நீதியென்று நான் ஒத்துக்கொள்வது எனக்குத் தூரமாயிருப்பதாக; என் ஆவி பிரியுமட்டும் என் உத்தமத்தை என்னைவிட்டு விலக்கேன்.

5. God forbid, that I should iustifie you: vntill I dye, I will neuer take away mine innocencie from my selfe.

6. என் நீதியைக் கெட்டியாய்ப் பிடித்திருக்கிறேன்; அதை நான் விட்டுவிடேன்; நான் உயிரோடிருக்குமளவும் என் இருதயம் என்னை நிந்திக்காது.

6. I will keepe my righteousnesse, and wil not forsake it: mine heart shall not reprooue me of my dayes.

7. என் பகைஞன் ஆகாதவனைப்போலும், எனக்கு விரோதமாய் எழும்புகிறவன் அக்கிரமக்காரனைப்போலும் இருப்பானாக.

7. Mine enemie shall be as the wicked, and he that riseth against me, as the vnrighteous.

8. மாயக்காரன் பொருளைத் தேடி வைத்திருந்தாலும், தேவன் அவன் ஆத்துமாவை எடுத்துக்கொள்ளும்போது, அவன் நம்பிக்கை என்ன?

8. For what hope hath the hypocrite when he hath heaped vp riches, if God take away his soule?

9. ஆபத்து அவன்மேல் வரும்போது, தேவன் அவன் கூப்பிடுதலைக் கேட்பாரோ?

9. Will God heare his cry, when trouble commeth vpon him?

10. அவன் சர்வவல்லவர்மேல் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிருப்பானோ? அவன் எப்பொழுதும் தேவனைத் தொழுதுகொண்டிருப்பானோ?

10. Will he set his delight on the Almightie? will he call vpon God at all times?

11. தேவனுடைய கரத்தின் கிரியையைக் குறித்து உங்களுக்கு உபதேசிப்பேன்; சர்வவல்லவரிடத்தில் இருக்கிறதை நான் மறைக்கமாட்டேன்.

11. I will teache you what is in the hande of God, and I wil not conceale that which is with the Almightie.

12. இதோ, நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் அதைக் கண்டிருந்தும், நீங்கள் இத்தனை வீண் எண்ணங்கொண்டிருக்கிறது என்ன?

12. Beholde, all ye your selues haue seene it: why then doe you thus vanish in vanitie?

13. பொல்லாத மனுஷனுக்கு தேவனிடத்திலிருந்து வருகிற பங்கும், கொடூரக்காரர் சர்வவல்லவரால் அடைகிற சுதந்தரமும் என்னவெனில்,

13. This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of tyrants, which they shall receiue of the Almightie.

14. அவனுடைய குமாரர் பெருகினால் பட்டயத்துக்கு இரையாவார்கள்; அவன் கர்ப்பப்பிறப்புகள் ஆகாரத்தினால் திருப்தியாவதில்லை.

14. If his children be in great nomber, the sworde shall destroy them, and his posteritie shall not be satisfied with bread.

15. அவனுக்கு மீதியானவர்கள் செத்துப் புதைக்கப்படுவார்கள்; அவனுடைய விதவைகள் புலம்புவதில்லை.

15. His remnant shall be buried in death, and his widowes shall not weepe.

16. அவன் புழுதியைப்போலப் பணத்தைக் குவித்துக்கொண்டாலும், மண்ணைப்போல வஸ்திரங்களைச் சவதரித்தாலும்,

16. Though he shoulde heape vp siluer as the dust, and prepare rayment as the clay,

17. அவன் சவதரித்ததை நீதிமான் உடுத்திக்கொண்டு, குற்றமில்லாதவன் அவன் பணத்தைப் பகிர்ந்துகொள்ளுவான்.

17. He may prepare it, but the iust shall put it on, and the innocent shall deuide the siluer.

18. அவனுடைய வீடு பொட்டுப்பூச்சிகட்டின வீட்டைப்போலும், காவல்காக்கிறவன் போட்ட குடிசையைப் போலுமாகும்.

18. He buildeth his house as the moth, and as a lodge that the watchman maketh.

19. அவன் ஐசுவரியவானாய்த் தூங்கிக் கிடந்து, ஒன்றும் பறிகொடாதே போனாலும், அவன் தன் கண்களைத் திறக்கும்போது ஒன்றுமில்லாதிருக்கும்.

19. When the rich man sleepeth, he shall not be gathered to his fathers: they opened their eyes, and he was gone.

20. வெள்ளத்தைப்போல திகில்கள் அவனை வாரிக்கொண்டுபோகும்; இராக்காலத்தில் பெருங்காற்று அவனை அடித்துக்கொண்டுபோகும்.

20. Terrours shall take him as waters, and a tempest shall cary him away by night.

21. கொண்டல்காற்று அவனைத் தூக்கிக்கொண்டுபோக, அவன் போய்விடுவான்; அது அவனை அவன் ஸ்தலத்திலிருந்து தள்ளிக்கொண்டுபோகும்.

21. The East winde shall take him away, and he shall depart: and it shall hurle him out of his place.

22. அவர் இவைகளை அவன்மேல் வரப்பண்ணி அவனைத் தப்பவிடாதிருப்பார்; அவருடைய கைக்குத் தப்பியோடப் பார்ப்பான்.

22. And God shall cast vpon him and not spare, though he would faine flee out of his hand.

23. ஜனங்கள் அவனைப் பார்த்துக் கைகொட்டி, அவனை அவன் ஸ்தலத்தை விட்டு வெருட்டிவிடுவார்கள்.

23. Euery man shall clap their hands at him, and hisse at him out of their place.
