1. கோத்திரங்களின் தலைவரும், ராஜாவைச் சேவிக்கிற வகுப்புகளின் தலைவரும், ஆயிரம்பேருக்கு அதிபதிகளும், நூறுபேருக்கு அதிபதிகளும், ராஜாவுக்கும் ராஜகுமாரருக்கும் உண்டான எல்லா ஆஸ்தியையும் மிருகஜீவன்களையும் விசாரிக்கிற தலைவருமாகிய இஸ்ரவேலின் சகல பிரபுக்களையும், பிரதானிகளையும், பலசாலிகளையும், சகல பராக்கிரமசாலிகளையும் தாவீது எருசலேமிலே கூடிவரச்செய்தான்.

1. And David assembleth all the heads of Israel, heads of the tribes, and heads of the courses who are serving the king, and heads of the thousands, and heads of the hundreds, and heads of all the substance and possessions of the king, and of his sons, with the officers and the mighty ones, even to every mighty one of valour -- unto Jerusalem.

2. அப்பொழுது ராஜாவாகிய தாவீது எழுந்திருந்து காலூன்றி நின்று: என் சகோதரரே, என் ஜனமே, நான் சொல்வதைக் கேளுங்கள்; கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டியும் நமது தேவனுடைய பாதபடியும் தங்குவதற்கு ஒரு ஆலயத்தைக் கட்ட நான் என் மனதிலே நினைத்து, கட்டுகிறதற்கு ஆயத்தமும் பண்ணினேன்.

2. And David the king riseth on his feet, and saith, 'Hear me, my brethren and my people, I -- with my heart -- to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, and for the footstool of our God, and I prepared to build,

3. ஆனாலும் தேவன்: நீ என் நாமத்திற்கு ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டவேண்டாம்; நீ யுத்த மனுஷனாயிருந்து, ரத்தத்தைச் சிந்தினாய் என்றார்.

3. and God hath said to me, Thou dost not build a house to My name, for a man of wars thou [art], and blood thou hast shed.

4. இப்போதும் இஸ்ரவேல் அனைத்தின்மேலும் என்றைக்கும் ராஜாவாயிருக்க, இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என் தகப்பனுடைய வீட்டாரிலெல்லாம் என்னைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டார்; அவர் யூதாவையும் யூதாவின் வம்சத்தில் என் தகப்பன் குடும்பத்தையும் தலைமையாகத் தெரிந்துகொண்டு, என்னை எல்லா இஸ்ரவேலின்மேலும் ராஜாவாக்க, என் தகப்பனுடைய குமாரருக்குள் என்மேல் பிரியம் வைத்தார்.

4. 'And Jehovah, God of Israel, doth fix on me out of all the house of my father to be for king over Israel to the age, for on Judah He hath fixed for a leader, and in the house of Judah, the house of my father, and among the sons of my father, on me, [me] He hath been pleased to make king over all Israel;

5. கர்த்தர் எனக்கு அநேகம் குமாரரைத் தந்தருளினார்; ஆனாலும் இஸ்ரவேலை ஆளும் கர்த்தருடைய ராஜ்யபாரத்தின் சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் உட்காருகிறதற்கு, அவர் என்னுடைய எல்லாக் குமாரரிலும் என் குமாரனாகிய சாலொமோனைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டு,

5. and out of all my sons -- for many sons hath Jehovah given to me -- He also fixeth on Solomon my son, to sit on the throne of the kingdom of Jehovah over Israel,

6. அவர் என்னை நோக்கி: உன் குமாரனாகிய சாலொமோனே என் ஆலயத்தையும் என் பிராகாரங்களையும் கட்டக்கடவன்; அவனை எனக்குக் குமாரனாகத் தெரிந்துகொண்டேன்; நான் அவனுக்குப் பிதாவாயிருப்பேன்.

6. and saith to me, Solomon thy son, he doth build My house, and My courts, for I have fixed on him to Me for a son, and I -- I am to him for a father,

7. இந்நாளில் நடக்கிறபடியே அவன் என் கற்பனைகளின்படியும் என் நியாயங்களின்படியும் செய்ய உறுதியாயிருப்பானானால், அவன் ராஜ்யபாரத்தை என்றென்றைக்கும் திடப்படுத்துவேன் என்றார்.

7. and I have established his kingdom to the age, if he is strong to do My commands, and My judgments, as at this day.

8. இப்போதும் நீங்கள் என்றென்றைக்கும் இந்த நல்ல தேசத்தைச் சுதந்தரமாய் அனுபவித்து, உங்களுக்குப் பிறகு அதை உங்கள் பிள்ளைகளுக்குச் சுதந்தரமாய்ப் பின்வைக்கும்பொருட்டாக, நீங்கள் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் கற்பனைகளையெல்லாம் கைக்கொண்டு விசாரியுங்கள் என்று கர்த்தரின் சபையாகிய இஸ்ரவேல் அனைத்தின் கண்களுக்குமுன்பாகவும், நமது தேவனுடைய செவிகேட்கவும் உங்களுக்குப் புத்திசொல்லுகிறேன்.

8. 'And now, before the eyes of all Israel, the assembly of Jehovah, and in the ears of our God, keep and seek all the commands of Jehovah your God, so that ye possess this good land, and have caused your sons to inherit after you unto the age.

9. என் குமாரனாகிய சாலொமோனே, நீ உன் பிதாவின் தேவனை அறிந்து, அவரை உத்தம இருதயத்தோடும் உற்சாக மனதோடும் சேவி; கர்த்தர் எல்லா இருதயங்களையும் ஆராய்ந்து, நினைவுகளின் தோற்றங்களையெல்லாம் அறிகிறார்; நீ அவரைத் தேடினால் உனக்குத் தென்படுவார்; நீ அவரை விட்டுவிட்டால் அவர் உன்னை என்றைக்கும் கைவிடுவார்.

9. 'And thou, Solomon, my son, know the God of thy father, and serve Him with a perfect heart, and with a willing mind, for all hearts is Jehovah seeking, and every imagination of the thoughts He is understanding; if thou dost seek Him, He is found of thee, and if thou dost forsake Him, He casteth thee off for ever.

10. இப்போதும் எச்சரிக்கையாயிரு; பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலமாக ஒரு ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டுவதற்காகக் கர்த்தர் உன்னைத் தெரிந்து கொண்டார்; நீ திடன்கொண்டு அதை நடப்பி என்று சொன்னான்.

10. See, now, for Jehovah hath fixed on thee to build a house for a sanctuary; be strong, and do.'

11. தாவீது தன் குமாரனாகிய சாலொமோனுக்கு மண்டபமும், அதின் அறைகளும், அதின் பொக்கிஷசாலைகளும், அதின் மேல்வீடுகளும், அதின் உள்ளறைகளும், கிருபாசன ஸ்தானமும் இருக்கவேண்டிய மாதிரியையும்,

11. And David giveth to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch, and of its houses, and of its treasures, and of its upper chambers, and of its innermost chambers, and of the house of the atonement;

12. ஆவியினால் தனக்குக் கட்டளையிடப்பட்டபடியெல்லாம் அவன் செய்யவேண்டிய கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயப்பிராகாரங்களும், தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்துப் பொக்கிஷங்களையும், பரிசுத்தமாக நேர்ந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவைகளின் பொக்கிஷங்களையும் வைக்கும் சகல சுற்றறைகளும் இருக்கவேண்டிய மாதிரியையும்,

12. and the pattern of all that hath been by the Spirit with him, for the courts of the house of Jehovah, and for all the chambers round about, for the treasures of the house of God, and for the treasures of the things sacrificed;

13. ஆசாரியரையும் லேவியரையும் வரிசைகளாக வகுக்கிறதற்கும், கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயப்பணிவிடை வேலை அனைத்திற்கும், கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்து வேலையின் பணிமுட்டுகள் அனைத்திற்குமுரிய கட்டளையையும் கொடுத்தான்.

13. and for the courses of the priests and of the Levites, and for all the work of the service of the house of Jehovah, and for all vessels of service of the house of Jehovah,

14. அவன் பற்பல வேலைக்கு வேண்டிய சகல பொற்பாத்திரங்களுக்காக நிறையின்படி பொன்னையும், பற்பல வேலைக்கு வேண்டிய சகல வெள்ளிப்பாத்திரங்களுக்காக நிறையின்படி வெள்ளியையும்,

14. even gold by weight, for [things of] gold, for all instruments of service and service; for all instruments of silver by weight, for all instruments of service and service;

15. பொன் விளக்குத்தண்டுகளுக்கும் அவைகளின் பொன் விளக்குகளுக்கும், ஒவ்வொரு விளக்குத்தண்டுக்கும் அதின் விளக்குகளுக்கும் நிறையின்படி வேண்டிய பொன்னையும், வெள்ளி விளக்குத்தண்டுகளிள் ஒவ்வொரு விளக்குத்தண்டுக்கும் அதின் விளக்குகளுக்கும் நிறையின்படி வேண்டிய வெள்ளியையும்,

15. and [by] weight for the candlesticks of gold, and their lamps of gold, by weight [for] candlestick and candlestick, and its lamps; and for the candlesticks of silver, by weight for a candlestick and its lamps, according to the service of candlestick and candlestick;

16. சமுகத்தப்பங்களை வைக்கும் ஒவ்வொரு மேஜைக்கும் நிறையின்படி வேண்டிய பொன்னையும், வெள்ளி மேஜைகளுக்கு வேண்டிய வெள்ளியையும்,

16. and the gold [by] weight for tables of the arrangement, for table and table, and silver for the tables of silver;

17. முள்குறடுகளுக்கும் கலங்களுக்கும் தட்டுகளுக்கும் வேண்டிய பசும்பொன்னையும், பொன் கிண்ணிகளில் ஒவ்வொரு கிண்ணிக்கும் நிறையின்படி வேண்டியதையும், வெள்ளிக்கிண்ணிகளில் ஒவ்வொரு கிண்ணிக்கும் நிறையின்படி வேண்டியதையும்,

17. and the forks, and the bowls, and the cups of pure gold, and for the basins of gold, by weight for basin and basin, and for the basins of silver, by weight for basin and basin,

18. தூபங்காட்டும் பீடத்திற்கு நிறையின்படி வேண்டிய புடமிடப்பட்ட பொன்னையும் கொடுத்து, செட்டைகளை விரித்துக் கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டியை மூடும் பொன் கேருபீன்களான வாகனத்தின் மாதிரியையும் கொடுத்து,

18. and for the altar of perfume refined gold by weight, and for the pattern of the chariot of the cherubs of gold -- spreading and covering over the ark of the covenant of Jehovah.

19. இந்த மாதிரியின்படி சகல வேலைகளும் எனக்குத் தெரியப்படுத்த, இவையெல்லாம் கர்த்தருடைய கரத்தினால் எனக்கு எழுதிக்கொடுக்கப்பட்டது என்றான்.

19. The whole [is] in writing from the hand of Jehovah, 'He caused me to understand all the work of the pattern,' [said David.]

20. தாவீது தன் குமாரனாகிய சாலொமோனை நோக்கி: நீ பலங்கொண்டு தைரியமாயிருந்து, இதை நடப்பி: நீ பயப்படாமலும் கலங்காமலும் இரு; தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என்னும் என் தேவன் உன்னோடே இருப்பார்; கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டுகிறதற்கடுத்த சகல கிரியைகளையும் நீ முடித்துத் தீருமட்டும், அவர் உன்னைவிட்டு விலகவுமாட்டார், உன்னைக்கைவிடவுமாட்டார்.

20. And David saith to Solomon his son, 'Be strong, and courageous, and do; do not fear nor be affrighted, for Jehovah God, my God, [is] with thee; He doth not fail thee, nor forsake thee, unto the completion of all the work of the service of the house of Jehovah.

21. இதோ, தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்து வேலைக்கெல்லாம் ஆசாரியர் லேவியருடைய வகுப்புகள் இருக்கிறது; அந்த எல்லாக் கிரியைக்கும் சகலவித வேலையிலும் நிபுணரான மனப்பூர்வமுள்ள சகல மனுஷரும், உன் சொற்படியெல்லாம் கேட்கும் பிரபுக்களும், சகல ஜனங்களும் உன்னிடத்தில் இருக்கிறார்கள் என்றான்.

21. 'And lo, courses of the priests and of the Levites [are] for all the service of the house of God; and with thee in all work [is] every willing one with wisdom, for every service; and the heads and all the people [are] according to all thy words.'
