1. சாலொமோன் தன் அரமனை முழுதையும் கட்டிமுடிக்க பதின்மூன்று வருஷம் சென்றது.

1. And his own house hath Solomon built thirteen years, and he finisheth all his house.

2. அவன் லீபனோன் வனம் என்னும் மாளிகையையும் கட்டினான்; அது நூறுமுழ நீளமும், ஐம்பதுமுழ அகலமும், முப்பதுமுழ உயரமுமாயிருந்தது; அதைக் கேதுருமர உத்திரங்கள் பாவப்பட்ட கேதுருமரத்தூண்களின் நாலு வரிசைகளின்மேல் கட்டினான்.

2. And he buildeth the house of the forest of Lebanon; a hundred cubits [is] its length, and fifty cubits its breadth, and thirty cubits its height, on four rows of cedar pillars, and cedar-beams on the pillars;

3. ஒவ்வொரு வரிசைக்குப் பதினைந்து தூண்களாக நாற்பத்தைந்து தூண்களின்மேல் வைக்கப்பட்ட உத்திரங்களின்மேல் கேதுருக்களால் மச்சுப்பாவியிருந்தது.

3. and [it is] covered with cedar above, on the sides that [are] on the forty and five pillars, fifteen in the row.

4. மூன்று வரிசை ஜன்னல்கள் இருந்தது; மூன்று வரிசையிலும் ஜன்னல்கள், ஒன்றுக்கொன்று எதிராயிருந்தது.

4. And windows [are] in three rows, and sight [is] over-against sight three times.

5. ஜன்னல்களின் வாசல்களும் சட்டங்களும் எல்லாம் சதுரமாயிருந்தது; மூன்று வரிசையிலும் ஜன்னல்கள் ஒன்றுக்கொன்று எதிராயிருந்தது.

5. And all the openings and the side-posts [are] square -- windows; and sight [is] over-against sight three times.

6. ஐம்பதுமுழ நீளமும் முப்பதுமுழ அகலமுமான மண்டபத்தையும், தூண்கள் நிறுத்திக் கட்டினான்; அந்த மண்டபமும், அதின் தூண்களும், உத்திரங்களும், மாளிகையின் தூண்களுக்கும் உத்திரங்களுக்கும் எதிராயிருந்தது.

6. And the porch of the pillars he hath made; fifty cubits its length, and thirty cubits its breadth, and the porch [is] before them, and pillars and a thick place [are] before them.

7. தான் இருந்து நியாயம் தீர்க்கிறதற்கு நியாயாசனம் போட்டிருக்கும் ஒரு நியாய விசாரணை மண்டபத்தையும் கட்டி, அதின் ஒரு பக்கம் துவக்கி மறுபக்கமட்டும் கேதுருப் பலகைகளால் தளவரிசைப்படுத்தினான்.

7. And the porch of the throne where he judgeth -- the porch of judgment -- he hath made, and [it is] covered with cedar from the floor unto the floor.

8. அவன் வாசம்பண்ணும் அவனுடைய அரமனை மண்டபத்திற்குள்ளே அதேமாதிரியாகச் செய்யப்பட்ட வேறொரு மண்டபமும் இருந்தது. சாலொமோன் விவாகம்பண்ணின பார்வோனின் குமாரத்திக்கும் அந்த மண்டபத்தைப்போல ஒரு மாளிகையைக் கட்டுவித்தான்.

8. As to his house where he dwelleth, the other court [is] within the porch -- as this work it hath been; and a house he maketh for the daughter of Pharaoh -- whom Solomon hath taken -- like this porch.

9. இவைகளெல்லாம், உள்ளும் புறம்பும், அஸ்திபாரமுதல் மேல் திரணைகள் மட்டும், வெளியே இருக்கும் பெரிய முற்றம்வரைக்கும், அளவுபடி வெட்டி வாளால் அறுக்கப்பட்ட விலையேறப்பெற்ற கற்களால் செய்யப்பட்டது.

9. All these [are] of precious stone, according to the measures of hewn work, sawn with a saw, within and without, even from the foundation unto the coping, and at the outside, unto the great court.

10. அஸ்திபாரம் பத்துமுழக் கற்களும், எட்டுமுழக் கற்களுமான விலையேறப்பெற்ற பெரிய கற்களாயிருந்தது.

10. And the foundation [is] of precious stone, great stones, stones of ten cubits, and stones of eight cubits;

11. அதின்மேல் உயர அளவுபடி பணிப்படுத்தின விலையேறப்பெற்ற கற்களும், கேதுரு மரங்களும் வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது.

11. and above [are] precious stone, according to the measures of hewn work, and cedar;

12. பெரிய முற்றத்திற்குச் சுற்றிலும் மூன்று வரிசைக் கேதுருமர உத்திரங்களாலும் ஒரு வரிசை பணிப்படுத்தின கற்களாலும் செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தது; கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தின் உட்பிராகாரத்திற்கும், அதின் முன்மண்டபத்திற்கும் அப்படியே செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தது.

12. and the great court round about [is] three rows of hewn work, and a row of cedar-beams, even for the inner court of the house of Jehovah, and for the porch of the house.

13. ராஜாவாகிய சாலொமோன் ஈராம் என்னும் ஒருவனைத் தீருவிலிருந்து அழைப்பித்தான்.

13. And king Solomon sendeth and taketh Hiram out of Tyre --

14. இவன் நப்தலி கோத்திரத்தாளாகிய ஒரு கைம்பெண்ணின் மகன்; இவன் தகப்பன் தீருநகரத்தானான கன்னான்; இவன் சகலவித வெண்கல வேலையையும் செய்யத்தக்க யுக்தியும் புத்தியும் அறிவும் உள்ளவனாயிருந்தான்; இவன் ராஜாவாகிய சாலொமோனிடத்தில் வந்து, அவன் வேலையையெல்லாம் செய்தான்.

14. he [is] son of a woman, a widow, of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father a man of Tyre, a worker in brass, and he is filled with the wisdom and the understanding, and the knowledge to do all work in brass -- and he cometh unto king Solomon, and doth all his work.

15. இவன் இரண்டு வெண்கலத் தூண்களை உண்டாக்கினான்; ஒவ்வொரு தூண் பதினெட்டுமுழ உயரமும், ஒவ்வொரு தூணின் சுற்றளவு பன்னிரண்டு முழ நூலளவுமாயிருந்தது.

15. And he formeth the two pillars of brass; eighteen cubits [is] the height of the one pillar, and a cord of twelve cubits doth compass the second pillar.

16. அந்தத் தூண்களுடைய தலைப்பில் வைக்க, வெண்கலத்தால் வார்க்கப்பட்ட இரண்டு கும்பங்களை உண்டாக்கினான்; ஒவ்வொரு கும்பமும் ஐந்துமுழ உயரமாயிருந்தது.

16. And two chapiters he hath made to put on the tops of the pillars, cast in brass; five cubits the height of the one chapiter, and five cubits the height of the second chapiter.

17. தூண்களுடைய முனையின்மேலுள்ள கும்பங்களுக்கு வலைபோன்ற பின்னல்களும், சங்கிலிபோன்ற தொங்கல்களும், ஒவ்வொரு கும்பத்திற்கும் எவ்வேழாக இருந்தது.

17. Nets of net-work, wreaths of chain-work [are] for the chapiters that [are] on the top of the pillars, seven for the one chapiter, and seven for the second chapiter.

18. தூண்களைப் பண்ணின விதமாவது: தலைப்பின் மேலுள்ள கும்பங்களை மூடும்படிக்கு, கும்பங்கள் ஒவ்வொன்றிலும் பின்னலின்மேல் சுற்றிலும் இரண்டு வரிசை மாதளம்பழங்களைச் செய்வித்தான்.

18. And he maketh the pillars, and two rows round about on the one net-work, to cover the chapiters that [are] on the top, with the pomegranates, and so he hath made for the second chapiter.

19. மண்டபத்தின் முன்னிருக்கும் அந்தத் தூண்களுடைய தலைப்பின் மேலுள்ள கும்பங்கள் லீலிபுஷ்பங்களின் வேலையும், நாலுமுழ உயரமுமாயிருந்தது.

19. And the chapiters that [are] on the top of the pillars [are] of lily-work in the porch, four cubits;

20. இரண்டு தூண்களின்மேலுமுள்ள கும்பங்களில் செய்யப்பட்ட பின்னலுக்கு அருகே இருந்த இடத்தில் விம்மிய இருநூறு மாதளம்பழங்களின் வரிசைகள் சுற்றிலும் இருந்தது; மற்றக் கும்பத்திலும் அப்படியே இருந்தது.

20. and the chapiters on the two pillars also above, over-against the protuberance that [is] beside the net; and the pomegranates [are] two hundred, in rows round about on the second chapiter.

21. அந்தத் தூண்களை தேவாலய வாசல் மண்டபத்தில் நிறுத்தினான்; அவன் வலது புறத்தில் நிறுத்தின தூணுக்கு யாகீன் என்றும், இடதுபுறத்தில் நிறுத்தின தூணுக்கு போவாஸ் என்றும் பேரிட்டான்.

21. And he raiseth up the pillars for the porch of the temple, and he raiseth up the right pillar, and calleth its name Jachin, and he raiseth up the left pillar, and calleth its name Boaz;

22. தூண்களுடைய சிகரத்தில் லீலிபுஷ்பவேலை செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தது; இவ்விதமாய்த் தூண்களின் வேலை முடிந்தது.

22. and on the top of the pillars [is] lily-work; and the work of the pillars [is] completed.

23. வெண்கலக் கடல் என்னும் தொட்டியையும் வார்ப்பித்தான்; சுற்றிலும் சக்கராகாரமான அதினுடைய ஒருவிளிம்பு தொடங்கி மறுவிளிம்புமட்டும், அகலம் பத்துமுழமும், உயரம் ஐந்துமுழமும், சுற்றளவு முப்பதுமுழ நூலளவுமாயிருந்தது.

23. And he maketh the molten sea, ten by the cubit from its edge unto its edge; [it is] round all about, and five by the cubit [is] its height, and a line of thirty by the cubit doth compass it round about;

24. அந்தக் கடல்தொட்டியைச் சுற்றி விளிம்புக்குக் கீழே அதைச் சுற்றிலும் மொக்குகள் ஒவ்வொரு முழத்திற்குப் பத்து பத்தாகச் செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தது; வார்க்கப்பட்ட அந்த மொக்குகளின் வரிசைகள் இரண்டும் தொட்டியோடு ஒன்றாய் வார்க்கப்பட்டிருந்தது.

24. and knops beneath its brim round about are compassing it, ten by the cubit, going round the sea round about; in two rows [are] the knops, cast in its being cast.

25. அது பன்னிரண்டு ரிஷபங்களின் மேல் நின்றது; அவைகளில் மூன்று வடக்கேயும், மூன்று மேற்கேயும், மூன்று தெற்கேயும், மூன்று கிழக்கேயும் நோக்கியிருந்தது; கடல்தொட்டி ரிஷபங்களின் மேலாகவும், அவைகளின் பின்புறங்களெல்லாம் உள்ளாகவும் இருந்தது.

25. It is standing on twelve oxen, three facing the north, and three facing the west, and three facing the south, and three facing the east, and the sea [is] upon them above, and all their hinder parts [are] inward.

26. அதின் கனம் நாலுவிரற்கடையும், அதின் விளிம்பு பானபாத்திரத்தின் விளிம்புபோலும், லீலிபுஷ்பம் போலும் இருந்தது; அது இரண்டாயிரம் குடம் தண்ணீர் பிடிக்கும்.

26. And its thickness [is] an handbreadth, and its edge as the work of the edge of a cup, flowers of lilies; two thousand baths it containeth.

27. பத்து வெண்கல ஆதாரங்களையும் செய்தான்; ஒவ்வொரு ஆதாரம் நாலுமுழ நீளமும், நாலுமுழ அகலமும், மூன்றுமுழ உயரமுமாயிருந்தது.

27. And he maketh the ten bases of brass; four by the cubit [is] the length of the one base, and four by the cubit its breadth, and three by the cubit its height.

28. அந்த ஆதாரங்களின் வேலைப்பாடு என்னவெனில், அவைகளுக்குச் சவுக்கைகள் உண்டாயிருந்தது; சவுக்கைகளோ சட்டங்களின் நடுவில் இருந்தது.

28. And this [is] the work of the base: they have borders, and the borders [are] between the joinings;

29. சட்டங்களுக்கு நடுவே இருக்கிற அந்தச் சவுக்கைகளில் சிங்கங்களும், காளைகளும், கேருபீன்களும், சட்டங்களுக்கு மேலாக ஒரு திரணையும், சிங்கங்களுக்கும் காளைகளுக்கும் கீழாக சாய்வான வேலைப்பாடுள்ள ஜலதாரைகளும் அதனோடே இருந்தது.

29. and on the borders that [are] between the joinings [are] lions, oxen, and cherubs, and on the joinings a base above, and beneath the lions and the oxen [are] additions -- sloping work.

30. ஒவ்வொரு ஆதாரத்திற்கு நாலு வெண்கல உருளைகளும், வெண்கலத் தட்டுகளும், அதின் நாலு கோடிகளுக்கு அச்சுகளும் இருந்தது; கொப்பரையின் கீழிருக்க, அந்தக் கொம்மைகள் ஒவ்வொன்றும் வார்ப்பு வேலையாக ஜலதாரைகளுக்கு நேராயிருந்தது.

30. And four wheels of brass [are] to the one base, and axles of brass; and its four corners have shoulders -- under the laver [are] the molten shoulders, beside each addition.

31. திரணைகளுக்குள்ளான அதின் வாய் மேலாக ஒருமுழம் உயர்ந்திருந்தது; அதின் வாய் ஒன்றரை முழ சக்கராகாரமும் தட்டையுமாய், அதின் வாயின்மேல் சித்திரங்களும் செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தது; அவைகளின் சவுக்கைகள் விருத்தமாயிராமல் சதுரமாயிருந்தது.

31. And its mouth within the chapiter and above [is] by the cubit, and its mouth [is] round, the work of the base, a cubit and half a cubit; and also on its mouth [are] carvings and their borders, square, not round.

32. அந்த நாலுஉருளைகள் சவுக்கைகளின் கீழும், உருளைகளின் அச்சுகள் ஆதாரத்திலும் இருந்தது; ஒவ்வொரு உருளை ஒன்றரை முழ உயரமாயிருந்தது.

32. And the four wheels [are] under the borders, and the spokes of the wheels [are] in the base, and the height of the one wheel [is] a cubit and half a cubit.

33. உருளைகளின் வேலை இரதத்து உருளைகளின் வேலைக்கு ஒத்திருந்தது; அவைகளின் அச்சுகளும், சக்கரங்களும், வட்டங்களும், கம்பிகளும் எல்லாம் வார்ப்பு வேலையாயிருந்தது.

33. And the work of the wheels [is] as the work of the wheel of a chariot, their spokes, and their axles, and their felloes, and their naves; the whole [is] molten.

34. ஒவ்வொரு ஆதாரத்தினுடைய நாலு கோடிகளிலும், ஆதாரத்திலிருந்து புறப்படுகிற நாலு கொம்மைகள் இருந்தது.

34. And four shoulders [are] unto the four corners of the one base; out of the base [are] its shoulders.

35. ஒவ்வொரு ஆதாரத்தின் தலைப்பிலும் அரைமுழ உயரமான சக்கராகாரமும், ஒவ்வொரு ஆதாரத்தினுடைய தலைப்பின்மேலும் அதிலிருந்து புறப்படுகிற அதின் கைப்பிடிகளும் சவுக்கைகளும் இருந்தது.

35. And in the top of the base [is] the half of a cubit in the height all round about; and on the top of the base its spokes and its borders [are] of the same.

36. அவைகளிலிருக்கிற கைப்பிடிகளுக்கும் சவுக்கைகளுக்கும் இருக்கிற சந்துகளிலே, கேருபீன்கள் சிங்கங்கள் பேரீந்துகளுடைய சித்திரங்களைத் தீர்த்திருந்தான்; சுற்றிலும் ஒவ்வொன்றிலும், ஜலதாரைகளிலும் இருக்கும் இடங்களுக்குத்தக்கதாய்ச் செய்தான்.

36. And he openeth on the tablets of its spokes, and on its borders, cherubs, lions, and palm-trees, according to the void space of each, and additions round about.

37. இந்தப் பிரகாரமாக அந்தப் பத்து ஆதாரங்களையும் செய்தான்; அவைகளெல்லாம் ஒரே வார்ப்பும், ஒரே அளவும், ஒரேவித கொத்து வேலையுமாயிருந்தது.

37. Thus he hath made the ten bases; one casting, one measure, one form, have they all.

38. பத்து வெண்கலக் கொப்பரைகளையும் உண்டாக்கினான்; ஒவ்வொரு கொப்பரை நாற்பது குடம் பிடிக்கும்; நாலுமுழ அகலமான ஒவ்வொரு கொப்பரையும் அந்தப் பத்து ஆதாரங்களில் ஒவ்வொன்றின்மேலும் வைக்கப்பட்டது.

38. And he maketh ten lavers of brass; forty baths doth the one laver contain, four by the cubit [is] the one laver, one laver on the one base [is] to the ten bases;

39. ஐந்து ஆதாரங்களை ஆலயத்தின் வலதுபுறத்திலும், ஐந்து ஆதாரங்களை ஆலயத்தின் இடதுபுறத்திலும் வைத்தான்; கடல்தொட்டியைக் கிழக்கில் ஆலயத்தின் வலதுபுறத்திலே தெற்குக்கு நேராக வைத்தான்.

39. and he putteth the five bases on the right side of the house, and five on the left side of the house, and the sea he hath put on the right side of the house, eastward -- over-against the south.

40. பின்பு ஈராம் கொப்பரைகளையும் சாம்பல் எடுக்கிற கரண்டிகளையும் கலங்களையும் செய்தான். இவ்விதமாய் ஈராம் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்துக்காக ராஜாவாகிய சாலொமோனுக்குச் செய்யவேண்டிய எல்லா வேலையையும் செய்து முடித்தான்.

40. And Hiram maketh the lavers, and the shovels, and the bowls; and Hiram completeth to do all the work that he made for king Solomon, [for] the house of Jehovah;

41. அவைகள் என்னவெனில்: இரண்டு தூண்களும், இரண்டு தூண்களுடைய முனையின்மேல் இருக்கிற இரண்டு உருண்டைக் கும்பங்களும், தூண்களுடைய முனையின்மேல் இருக்கிற இரண்டு உருண்டைக் கும்பங்களை மூடும் இரண்டு வலைப் பின்னல்களும்,

41. pillars two, and bowls of the chapiters that [are] on the top of the pillars two, and the nets two, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters that [are] on the top of the pillars;

42. தூண்களின் மேலுள்ள இரண்டு உருண்டைக் கும்பங்களை மூடும்படி ஒவ்வொரு வலைப்பின்னலுக்கும் பண்ணின இரண்டு வரிசை மாதளம்பழங்களும், ஆக இரண்டு வலைப்பின்னலுக்கும் நானூறு மாதளம்பழங்களும்,

42. and the pomegranates four hundred for the two nets, two rows of pomegranates for the one net, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters that [are] on the front of the pillars;

43. பத்து ஆதாரங்களும், ஆதாரங்களின்மேல் வைத்த பத்துக் கொப்பரைகளும்,

43. and the ten bases, and the ten lavers on the bases;

44. ஒரு கடல் தொட்டியும், கடல் தொட்டியின் கீழிருக்கிற பன்னிரண்டு ரிஷபங்களும்,

44. and the one sea, the twelve oxen under the sea,

45. செப்புச்சட்டிகளும், சாம்பல் கரண்டிகளும், கலங்களும் செய்தான்; கர்த்தரின் ஆலயத்துக்காக ராஜாவாகிய சாலொமோனுக்கு ஈராம் செய்த இந்த எல்லாப் பணிமுட்டுகளும் சுத்தமான வெண்கலமாயிருந்தது.

45. and the pots, and the shovels, and the bowls; and all these vessels, that Hiram hath made to king Solomon [for] the house of Jehovah, [are] of brass -- polished.

46. யோர்தானுக்கு அடுத்த சமனான பூமியிலே, சுக்கோத்துக்கும் சர்தானுக்கும் நடுவே களிமண் தரையிலே ராஜா இவைகளை வார்ப்பித்தான்.

46. In the circuit of the Jordan hath the king cast them, in the thick soil of the ground, between Succoth and Zarthan.

47. இந்தச் சகல பணிமுட்டுகளின் வெண்கலம் மிகவும் ஏராளமுமாயிருந்தபடியால், சாலொமோன் அவைகளை நிறுக்கவில்லை; அதினுடைய நிறை இவ்வளவென்று ஆராய்ந்து பார்க்கவுமில்லை.

47. And Solomon placeth the whole of the vessels; because of the very great abundance, the weight of the brass hath not been searched out.

48. பின்னும் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்துக்குத் தேவையான பணிமுட்டுகளையெல்லாம் சாலொமோன் உண்டாக்கினான்; அவையாவன, பொன் பலிபீடத்தையும், சமுகத்தப்பங்களை வைக்கும் பொன் மேஜையையும்,

48. And Solomon maketh all the vessels that [are] in the house of Jehovah: the altar of gold, and the table -- on which [is] the bread of the Presence -- of gold,

49. சந்நிதி ஸ்தானத்திற்கு முன்பாக வைக்கும் பசும்பொன் விளக்குத்தண்டுகள், வலதுபுறமாக ஐந்தையும் இடதுபுறமாக ஐந்தையும், பொன்னான அதின் பூக்களோடும் விளக்குகளோடும் கத்தரிகளோடுங்கூட உண்டாக்கினான்.

49. and the candlesticks, five on the right, and five on the left, before the oracle, of refined gold, and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, of gold,

50. பசும்பொன் கிண்ணங்களையும், வெட்டுக்கத்திகளையும், கலங்களையும், கலயங்களையும், தூபகலசங்களையும், மகாபரிசுத்தமான உள் ஆலயத்தினுடைய கதவுகளின் பொன்னான முளைகளையும், தேவாலயமாகிய மாளிகைக் கதவுகளின் பொன்னான முளைகளையும் செய்தான்.

50. and the basins, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and the censers, of refined gold, and the hinges for the doors of the inner-house, for the holy of holies, for the doors of the house of the temple, of gold.

51. இவ்விதமாய் ராஜாவாகிய சாலொமோன் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்துக்காகச் செய்த வேலைகளெல்லாம் முடிந்தது; அப்பொழுது சாலொமோன் தன் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீது பரிசுத்தம்பண்ணும்படி நேர்ந்துகொண்ட வெள்ளியையும் பொன்னையும் பணிமுட்டுகளையும் கொண்டுவந்து, கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தின் பொக்கிஷங்களில் வைத்தான்.

51. And it is complete -- all the work that king Solomon hath made [for] the house of Jehovah, and Solomon bringeth in the sanctified things of David his father; the silver, and the gold, and the vessels he hath put in the treasuries of the house of Jehovah.
