1. ஒரு நாள் சவுலின் குமாரனாகிய யோனத்தான் தன் ஆயுததாரியாகிய வாலிபனை நோக்கி: நமக்கு எதிராக அந்தப் பக்கத்தில் இருக்கிற பெலிஸ்தரின் தாணையத்திற்குப் போவோம் வா என்று சொன்னான்; அதை அவன் தன் தகப்பனுக்கு அறிவிக்கவில்லை.

1. Then on a day Ionathan the sonne of Saul sayde vnto the yong man that bare his armour, Come and let vs goe ouer towarde the Philistims garison, that is yonder on the other side, but he tolde not his father.

2. சவுல் கிபியாவின் கடைசி முனையாகிய மிக்ரோனிலே ஒரு மாதளமரத்தின்கீழ் இருந்தான்; அவனோடேகூட இருந்த ஜனங்கள் ஏறக்குறைய அறுநூறுபேராயிருந்தார்கள்.

2. And Saul taried in the border of Gibeah vnder a pomegranate tree, which was in Migron, and the people that were with him, were about sixe hundreth men.

3. சீலோவிலே கர்த்தருடைய ஆசாரியனாயிருந்த ஏலியின் குமாரனாகிய பினெகாசுக்குப் பிறந்த இக்கபோத்தின் சகோதரனும், அகிதூபின் குமாரனுமாகிய அகியா என்பவன் ஏபோத்தைத் தரித்தவனாயிருந்தான்; யோனத்தான் போனதை ஜனங்கள் அறியாதிருந்தார்கள்.

3. And Ahiah the sonne of Ahitub, Ichabods brother, the sonne of Phinehas, the sonne of Eli, was the Lordes Priest in Shiloh, and ware an Ephod: and the people knewe not that Ionathan was gone.

4. Nowe in the way whereby Ionathan sought to go ouer to the Philistims garison, there was a sharpe rocke on the one side, and a sharpe rocke on the other side: the name of the one was called Bozez, and the name of the other Seneh.

5. அந்தப் பாறைகளில் ஒன்று வடக்கே மிக்மாசுக்கு எதிராகவும், மற்றொன்று தெற்கே கிபியாவுக்கு எதிராகவும் இருந்தது.

5. The one rocke stretched from the North towarde Michmash, and the other was from the South toward Gibeah.

6. யோனத்தான் தன் ஆயுததாரியாகிய வாலிபனை நோக்கி: விருத்தசேதனம் இல்லாதவர்களுடைய அந்தத் தாணையத்திற்குப் போவோம் வா; ஒருவேளை கர்த்தர் நமக்காக ஒரு காரியம் செய்வார்; அநேகம் பேரைக்கொண்டாகிலும், கொஞ்சம்பேரைக்கொண்டாகிலும், இரட்சிக்கக் கர்த்தருக்குத் தடையில்லை என்றான்.

6. And Ionathan saide to the yong man that bare his armour, Come, and let vs goe ouer vnto the garison of these vncircumcised: it may be that the Lord will worke with vs: for it is not hard to the Lord to saue with many, or with fewe.

7. அப்பொழுது அவன் ஆயுததாரி அவனைப் பார்த்து: உம்முடைய இருதயத்தில் இருக்கிறபடியெல்லாம் செய்யும்; அப்படியே போம்; இதோ, உம்முடைய மனதுக்கு ஏற்றபடி நானும் உம்மோடேகூட வருகிறேன் என்றான்.

7. And he that bare his armour, saide vnto him, Doe all that is in thine heart: goe where it pleaseth thee: beholde, I am with thee as thine heart desireth.

8. அதற்கு யோனத்தான்: இதோ, நாம் கடந்து, அந்த மனுஷரிடத்திற்குப் போகிறவர்கள்போல அவர்களுக்கு நம்மைக் காண்பிப்போம்.

8. Then said Ionathan, Beholde, we goe ouer vnto those men, and will shewe our selues vnto them.

9. If they say on this wise to vs, Tarie vntill we come to you, then we will stand still in our place, and not goe vp to them.

10. எங்களிடத்துக்கு ஏறி வாருங்கள் என்று சொல்வார்களானால், ஏறிப்போவோம்; கர்த்தர் அவர்களை நம்முடைய கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார்; இது நமக்கு அடையாளம் என்றான்.

10. But if they say, Come vp vnto vs, then we will goe vp: for the Lord hath deliuered them into our hande: and this shall be a signe vnto vs.

11. அப்படியே அவர்கள் இருவரும் பெலிஸ்தரின் தாணையத்திற்குமுன் தங்களைக் காண்பித்தார்கள்; அப்பொழுது பெலிஸ்தர்: இதோ, எபிரெயர் ஒளித்துக்கொண்டிருந்த வளைகளைவிட்டுப் புறப்படுகிறார்கள் என்று சொல்லி,

11. So they both shewed themselues vnto the garison of the Philistims: and the Philistims said, See, the Ebrewes come out of the holes wherein they had hid themselues.

12. தாணையம் இருக்கிற மனுஷர் யோனத்தானையும் அவன் ஆயுததாரியையும் பார்த்து: எங்களிடத்துக்கு ஏறிவாருங்கள், உங்களுக்குப் புத்தி கற்பிப்போம் என்றார்கள்; அப்பொழுது யோனத்தான் தன் ஆயுததாரியை நோக்கி: என் பின்னாலே ஏறிவா, கர்த்தர் அவர்களை இஸ்ரவேலின் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார் என்று சொல்லி,

12. And the men of the garison answered Ionathan, and his armour bearer, and said, Come vp to vs: for we will shewe you a thing. Then Ionathan said vnto his armour bearer, Come vp after me: for the Lord hath deliuered them into the hand of Israel.

13. யோனத்தான் தன் கைகளாலும் தன் கால்களாலும் தவழ்ந்து ஏறினான்; அவன் ஆயுததாரி அவன் பின்னாலே ஏறினான்; அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் யோனத்தானுக்கு முன்பாக மடிந்து விழுந்தார்கள்; அவன் ஆயுததாரியும் அவன் பின்னாலே வெட்டிக்கொண்டே போனான்.

13. So Ionathan went vp vpon his hands and vpon his feete, and his armour bearer after him: and some fell before Ionathan, and his armour bearer slewe others after him.

14. So the first slaughter which Ionathan and his armour bearer made, was about twentie men, as it were within halfe an acre of land which two oxen plowe.

15. அப்பொழுது பாளயத்திலும் வெளியிலும், சகல ஜனங்களிலும், பயங்கரம் உண்டாகி, தாணையம் இருந்தவர்களும் கொள்ளையிடப்போன தண்டிலுள்ளவர்களுங்கூடத் திகில் அடைந்தார்கள்; பூமியும் அதிர்ந்தது; அது தேவனால் உண்டான பயங்கரமாயிருந்தது.

15. And there was a feare in the hoste, and in the field, and among all the people: the garison also, and they that went out to spoyle, were afraid themselues: and the earth trembled: for it was striken with feare by God.

16. பென்யமீன் நாட்டிலுள்ள கிபியாவிலே சவுலுக்கு இருந்த ஜாமக்காரர் பார்த்து: இதோ, அந்த ஏராளமான கூட்டம் கலைந்து, ஒருவர்மேல் ஒருவர் விழுகிறதைக் கண்டார்கள்.

16. Then the watchmen of Saul in Gibeah of Beniamin sawe: and beholde, the multitude was discomfited, and smitten as they went.

17. அப்பொழுது சவுல் தன்னோடேகூட இருக்கிற ஜனங்களை நோக்கி: நம்மிடத்திலிருந்து போனவர்கள் யார் என்று இலக்கம் பாருங்கள் என்றான்; அவர்கள் இலக்கம் பார்க்கிறபோது, இதோ, யோனத்தானும் அவன் ஆயுததாரியும் அங்கே இல்லை என்று கண்டார்கள்.

17. Therefore saide Saul vnto the people that were with him, Search nowe and see, who is gone from vs. And when they had nombred, beholde, Ionathan and his armour bearer were not there.

18. அப்பொழுது சவுல் அகீயாவை நோக்கி: தேவனுடைய பெட்டியைக் கொண்டுவா என்றான்; தேவனுடைய பெட்டி அந்நாட்களில் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரிடத்தில் இருந்தது.

18. And Saul said vnto Ahiah, Bring hither the Arke of God (for the Arke of God was at that time with the children of Israel)

19. இப்படிச் சவுல் ஆசாரியனோடே பேசுகையில், பெலிஸ்தரின் பாளயத்தில் உண்டான கலகம் வரவர அதிகரித்தது; அப்பொழுது சவுல் ஆசாரியனைப் பார்த்து: இருக்கட்டும் என்றான்.

19. And while Saul talked vnto the Priest, the noyse that was in the hoste of the Philistims, spred farther abroade, and encreased: therefore Saul said vnto the Priest, Withdraw thine hand.

20. சவுலும் அவனோடிருந்த ஜனங்களும் கூட்டங்கூடிப் போர்க்களத்திற்குப் போனார்கள்; ஒருவர் பட்டயம் ஒருவருக்கு விரோதமாயிருந்தபடியால் மகா அமளியுண்டாயிற்று.

20. And Saul was assembled with all the people that were with him, and they came to the battell: and behold, euery mans sworde was against his fellow, and there was a very great discomfiture.

21. இதற்குமுன் பெலிஸ்தருடன் கூடி அவர்களோடேகூடப் பாளயத்திலே திரிந்துவந்த எபிரெயரும், சவுலோடும் யோனத்தானோடும் இருக்கிற இஸ்ரவேலரோடே கூடிக்கொண்டார்கள்.

21. Moreouer, the Ebrewes that were with the Philistims beforetime, and were come with them into all partes of the hoste, euen they also turned to be with the Israelites that were with Saul and Ionathan.

22. எப்பிராயீம் மலைகளில் ஒளித்துக்கொண்டிருந்த சகல இஸ்ரவேலரும் பெலிஸ்தர் முறிந்தோடுகிறதைக் கேள்விப்பட்டபோது, யுத்தத்திலே அவர்களை நெருங்கித் தொடர்ந்தார்கள்.

22. Also all the men of Israel which had hid themselues in mount Ephraim, when they heard, that the Philistims were fled, they followed after them in the battell.

23. இப்படிக் கர்த்தர் அன்றையதினம் இஸ்ரவேலை இரட்சித்தார்; அந்த யுத்தம் பெத்தாவேன் மட்டும் நடந்தது.

23. And so the Lord saued Israel that day: and the battell continued vnto Beth-auen.

24. இஸ்ரவேலர் அன்றையதினம் மிகுந்த வருத்தம் அடைந்தார்கள்; நான் என் சத்தருக்கள் கையிலே பழிவாங்கவேண்டும், சாயங்காலமட்டும் பொறுக்காமல் எவன் போஜனம் செய்கிறானோ, அவன் சபிக்கப்பட்டவன் என்று சவுல் ஜனங்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டுச் சொல்லியிருந்தபடியால், ஜனங்களில் ஒருவரும் எவ்வளவேனும் போஜனம்பண்ணாதிருந்தார்கள்.

24. And at that time the men of Israel were pressed with hunger: for Saul charged the people with an othe, saying, Cursed be the man that eateth foode till night, that I may be auenged of mine enemies: so none of the people tasted any sustenance.

25. தேசத்து ஜனங்கள் எல்லாரும் ஒரு காட்டிலே வந்தார்கள்; அங்கே வெளியிலே தேன்கூடு கட்டியிருந்தது.

25. And all they of the land came to a wood, where hony lay vpon the ground.

26. ஜனங்கள் காட்டிலே வந்தபோது, இதோ, தேன் ஒழுகிக்கொண்டிருந்தது; ஆனாலும் ஒருவனும் அதைத் தன் கையினாலே தொட்டுத் தன் வாயில் வைக்கவில்லை; ஜனங்கள் அந்த ஆணையினிமித்தம் பயப்பட்டார்கள்.

26. And the people came into the wood, and beholde, the hony dropped, and no man mooued his hand to his mouth: for the people feared the othe.

27. யோனத்தான் தன் தகப்பன் ஜனங்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டதைக் கேள்விப்படவில்லை; அவன் தன் கையிலிருந்த கோலை நீட்டி, அதின் நுனியினாலே தேன்கூட்டைக் குத்தி, அதை எடுத்துத் தன் வாயிலே போட்டுக்கொண்டான்; அதினால் அவன் கண்கள் தெளிந்தது.

27. But Ionathan heard not when his father charged the people with the othe: wherefore he put foorth the ende of the rod that was in his hand, and dipt it in an hony combe, and put his hand to his mouth, and his eyes receiued sight.

28. அப்பொழுது ஜனங்களில் ஒருவன்: இன்றைக்கு போஜனம் சாப்பிடுகிறவன் சபிக்கப்பட்டவன் என்று உம்முடைய தகப்பனார் ஜனங்களுக்கு உறுதியாய் ஆணையிட்டிருக்கிறார்; ஆகையினால் ஜனங்கள் விடாய்த்திருக்கிறார்கள் என்றான்.

28. Then answered one of the people, and said, Thy father made the people to sweare, saying, Cursed be the man that eateth sustenance this day: and the people were faint.

29. அப்பொழுது யோனத்தான்: என் தகப்பன் தேசத்தின் ஜனங்களைக் கலக்கப்படுத்தினார்: நான் இந்தத் தேனிலே கொஞ்சம் ருசிபார்த்ததினாலே, என் கண்கள் தெளிந்ததைப் பாருங்கள்.

29. Then said Ionathan, My father hath troubled the land: see nowe howe mine eyes are made cleare, because I haue tasted a litle of this honie:

30. இன்றையதினம் ஜனங்கள் தங்களுக்கு அகப்பட்ட தங்கள் சத்துருக்களின் கொள்ளையிலே ஏதாகிலும் புசித்திருந்தால், எத்தனை நலமாயிருக்கும்; பெலிஸ்தருக்குள் உண்டான சங்காரம் மிகவும் அதிகமாயிருக்குமே என்றான்.

30. Howe much more, if the people had eaten to day of the spoyle of their enemies which they found? for had there not bene nowe a greater slaughter among the Philistims?

31. அவர்கள் அன்றையதினம் மிக்மாசிலிருந்து ஆயலோன்மட்டும் பெலிஸ்தரை முறிய அடித்தபோது, ஜனங்கள் மிகவும் விடாய்த்திருந்தார்கள்.

31. And they smote the Philistims that day, from Michmash to Aiialon: and the people were exceeding faint.

32. அப்பொழுது ஜனங்கள் கொள்ளையின்மேல் பாய்ந்து, ஆடுகளையும், மாடுகளையும், கன்றுக்குட்டிகளையும் பிடித்து, தரையிலே போட்டு அடித்து, இரத்தத்தோடும் புசித்தார்கள்.

32. So the people turned to the spoile, and tooke sheepe, and oxen, and calues, and slewe them on the ground, and the people did eate them with the blood.

33. அப்பொழுது, இதோ, இரத்தத்தோடிருக்கிறதைப் புசிக்கிறதினால் ஜனங்கள் கர்த்தருக்கு ஏலாத பாவம் செய்கிறார்கள் என்று சவுலுக்கு அறிவித்தார்கள்; அவன்: நீங்கள் துரோகம்பண்ணினீர்கள்; இப்போதே ஒரு பெரிய கல்லை என்னிடத்தில் உருட்டிக்கொண்டுவாருங்கள்.

33. Then men tolde Saul, saying, Beholde, the people sinne against the Lord, in that they eate with the blood. And he saide, Ye haue trespassed: roule a great stone vnto me this day.

34. Againe Saul said, Goe abroade among the people, and bid them bring me euery man his oxe, and euery man his sheepe, and slay them here, and eate and sinne not against the Lord in eating with the blood. And ye people brought euery man his oxe in his hand that night, and slew them there.

35. பின்பு சவுல் கர்த்தருக்கு ஒரு பலிபீடத்தைக் கட்டினான்; அது அவன் கர்த்தருக்குக் கட்டின முதலாவது பலிபீடம்.

35. Then Saul made an altar vnto the Lord, and that was the first altar that he made vnto the Lord.

36. அதற்குப்பின்பு சவுல்: நாம் இந்த இராத்திரியிலே பெலிஸ்தரைத் தொடர்ந்துபோய், விடியற்கால வெளிச்சமாகுமட்டும் அவர்களைக் கொள்ளையிட்டு, அவர்களில் ஒருவரையும் மீதியாக வைக்காதிருப்போமாக என்றான். அதற்கு அவர்கள்: உம்முடைய கண்களுக்கு நலமானபடியெல்லாம் செய்யும் என்றார்கள். ஆசாரியனோ: நாம் இங்கே தேவசந்நிதியில் சேரக்கடவோம் என்றான்.

36. And Saul saide, Let vs goe downe after the Philistims by night, and spoyle them vntill the morning shine, and let vs not leaue a man of them. And they saide, Doe whatsoeuer thou thinkest best. Then saide the Priest, Let vs drawe neere hither vnto God.

37. அப்படியே: பெலிஸ்தரைத் தொடர்ந்து போகலாமா? அவர்களை இஸ்ரவேலின் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பீரா? என்று சவுல் தேவனிடத்தில் விசாரித்தான்; அவர் அந்த நாளிலே அவனுக்கு மறுஉத்தரவு அருளவில்லை.

37. So Saul asked of God, saying, Shall I goe downe after ye Philistims? wilt thou deliuer them into the hands of Israel? But he answered him not at that time.

38. அப்பொழுது சவுல்: ஜனத்தின் தலைவர்களே, நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் இங்கே சேர்ந்து வந்து, இன்று இந்தப் பாவம் எதினாலே உண்டாயிற்று என்று பார்த்தறியுங்கள்.

38. And Saul said, All ye chiefe of the people, come ye hither, and knowe, and see by whom this sinne is done this day.

39. அது என் குமாரனாகிய யோனத்தானிடத்தில் காணப்பட்டாலும், அவன் சாகவே சாகவேண்டும் என்று இஸ்ரவேலை இரட்சிக்கிற கர்த்தருடைய ஜீவனைக்கொண்டு சொல்லுகிறேன் என்றான்; சகல ஜனங்களுக்குள்ளும் ஒருவனும் அவனுக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரம் சொல்லவில்லை.

39. For as the Lord liueth, which saueth Israel, though it be done by Ionathan my sonne, he shall dye the death. But none of all the people answered him.

40. அதற்குப்பின் அவன் இஸ்ரவேலர் எல்லாரையும் நோக்கி: நீங்கள் அந்தப்பக்கத்திலே இருங்கள்; நானும் என் குமாரனாகிய யோனத்தானும் இந்தப்பக்கத்தில் இருப்போம் என்றான்; ஜனங்கள் சவுலைப்பார்த்து: உம்முடைய கண்களுக்கு நலமானபடி செய்யும் என்றார்கள்.

40. Then he saide vnto all Israel, Be ye on one side, and I and Ionathan my sonne will be on the other side. And the people saide vnto Saul, Doe what thou thinkest best.

41. அப்பொழுது சவுல் இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரை நோக்கி: நிதானமாய்க் கட்டளையிட்டு யதார்த்தத்தை விளங்கப்பண்ணும் என்றான்; அப்பொழுது யோனத்தான்மேலும் சவுலின்மேலும் சீட்டு விழுந்தது, ஜனங்களோ தப்பினார்கள்.

41. Then Saul said vnto the Lord God of Israel, Giue a perfite lot. And Ionathan and Saul were taken, but the people escaped.

42. எனக்கும் என் குமாரனாகிய யோனத்தானுக்கும் சீட்டுப்போடுங்கள் என்று சவுல் சொன்னபோது, யோனத்தான்மேல் சீட்டு விழுந்தது.

42. And Saul saide, Cast lot betweene me and Ionathan my sonne. And Ionathan was taken.

43. அப்பொழுது சவுல் யோனத்தானைப் பார்த்து: நீ செய்தது என்ன? எனக்குச் சொல் என்று கேட்டான். அதற்கு யோனத்தான்: என் கையில் இருக்கிற கோலின் நுனியினாலே கொஞ்சம் தேன் எடுத்து ருசிபார்த்தேன்; அதற்காக நான் சாகவேண்டும் என்றான்.

43. Then Saul said to Ionathan, Tell me what thou hast done. And Ionathan tolde him, and said, I tasted a litle hony with the ende of the rod, that was in mine hand, and loe, I must die.

44. அப்பொழுது சவுல்: யோனத்தானே, நீ சாகத்தான் வேண்டும்; இல்லாவிட்டால் தேவன் எனக்கு அதற்குச் சரியாகவும் அதற்கு அதிகமாகவும் செய்யக்கடவர் என்றான்.

44. Againe Saul answered, God doe so and more also, vnlesse thou die the death, Ionathan.

45. ஜனங்களோ சவுலை நோக்கி: இஸ்ரவேலிலே இந்தப் பெரிய இரட்சிப்பைச் செய்த யோனத்தான் கொலை செய்யப்படலாமா? அது கூடாது; அவன் தலையில் இருக்கிற ஒரு மயிரும் தரையிலே விழப்போகிறதில்லை என்று கர்த்தருடைய ஜீவனைக்கொண்டு ஆணையிட்டுச் சொல்லுகிறோம்; தேவன் துணை நிற்க அவன் இன்று காரியத்தை நடப்பித்தான் என்றார்கள்; அப்படியே யோனத்தான் சாகாதபடிக்கு, ஜனங்கள் அவனைத் தப்புவித்தார்கள்.

45. And the people said vnto Saul, Shall Ionathan die, who hath so mightily deliuered Israel? God forbid. As the Lord liueth, there shall not one heare of his head fall to the ground: for he hath wrought with God this day. So the people deliuered Ionathan that he dyed not.

46. Then Saul came vp from the Philistims: and the Philistims went to their owne place.

47. இப்படிச் சவுல் இஸ்ரவேலை ஆளுகிற ராஜ்யபாரத்தைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டு, சுற்றிலும் இருக்கிற தன்னுடைய எல்லாச் சத்துருக்களாகிய மோவாபியருக்கும், அம்மோன் புத்திரருக்கும், ஏதோமியருக்கும், சோபாவின் ராஜாக்களுக்கும், பெலிஸ்தருக்கும் விரோதமாக யுத்தம்பண்ணி, எவர்கள்மேல் படையெடுத்தானோ, அவர்களையெல்லாம் அடக்கினான்.

47. So Saul helde the kingdome ouer Israel, and fought against all his enemies on euery side, against Moab, and against the children of Ammon, and against Edom, and against the Kings of Zobah, and against the Philistims: and whithersoeuer he went, he handled them as wicked men.

48. அவன் பலத்து, அமலேக்கியரை முறிய அடித்து, இஸ்ரவேலரைக் கொள்ளையிடுகிற யாவர் கைக்கும் அவர்களை நீங்கலாக்கி இரட்சித்தான்.

48. He gathered also an hoste and smote Amalek, and deliuered Israel out of the handes of them that spoyled them.

49. சவுலுக்கு இருந்த குமாரர்: யோனத்தான், இஸ்வி, மல்கிசூவா என்பவர்கள் அவனுடைய இரண்டு குமாரத்திகளில், மூத்தவள் பேர் மேரப், இளையவள் பேர் மீகாள்.

49. Nowe the sonnes of Saul were Ionathan, and Ishui, and Malchishua: and the names of his two daughters, the elder was called Merab, and the yonger was named Michal.

50. சவுலுடைய மனைவியின் பேர் அகினோவாம், அவள் அகிமாசின் குமாரத்தி; அவனுடைய சேனாபதியின்பேர் அப்னேர், அவன் சவுலுடைய சிறிய தகப்பனாகிய நேரின் குமாரன்.

50. And the name of Sauls wife was Ahinoam the daughter of Ahimaaz: and the name of his chiefe captaine was Abner the sonne of Ner, Sauls vncle.

51. கீஸ் சவுலின் தகப்பன்; அப்னேரின் தகப்பனாகிய நேர் ஆபியேலின் குமாரன்.

51. And Kish was Sauls father: and Ner the father of Abner was the sonne of Abiel.

52. சவுல் இருந்த நாளெல்லாம் பெலிஸ்தரின்மேல் கடினமான யுத்தம் நடந்தது; சவுல் ஒரு பராக்கிரமசாலியையாகிலும் ஒரு பலசாலியையாகிலும் காணும்போது, அவர்கள் எல்லாரையும் தன்னிடமாகச் சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளுவான்.

52. And there was sore warre against the Philistims all the dayes of Saul: and whomsoeuer Saul sawe to be a strong man, and meete for the warre, he tooke him vnto him.
