1. பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

1. ADONAI said to Moshe,

2. நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரிடத்தில் சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால், ஒருவன் கர்த்தருடைய கட்டளைகளில் யாதொன்றை அறியாமையினால் மீறி, செய்யத்தகாததைச் செய்து பாவத்துக்கு உட்பட்டால் அறியவேண்டியதாவது:

2. 'Tell the people of Isra'el: 'If anyone sins inadvertently against any of the [mitzvot] of ADONAI concerning things which should not be done, if he does any one of them,

3. அபிஷேகம் பெற்ற ஆசாரியன், ஜனங்கள் குற்றத்திற்கு உட்படத்தக்கதாகப் பாவஞ்செய்தால், தான் செய்த பாவத்தினிமித்தம் பழுதற்ற ஒரு இளங்காளையை பாவநிவாரணபலியாகக் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் கொண்டுவரக்கடவன்.

3. then, if it is the anointed [cohen] who sinned and thus brought guilt on the people, he is to offer ADONAI a young bull without defect as a sin offering for the sin he committed.

4. அவன் அந்தக் காளையை ஆசரிப்புக்கூடாரவாசலில் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் கொண்டுவந்து, அதின் தலைமேல் தன் கையை வைத்து, கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் அதைக் கொல்லக்கடவன்.

4. He must bring the bull to the entrance of the tent of meeting before ADONAI, lay his hand on the bull's head and slaughter the bull in the presence of ADONAI.

5. அப்பொழுது, அபிஷேகம் பெற்ற ஆசாரியன் அந்தக் காளையின் இரத்தத்தில் கொஞ்சம் எடுத்து, அதை ஆசரிப்புக்கூடாரத்தில் கொண்டுவந்து,

5. The anointed [cohen] is to take some of the bull's blood and bring it to the tent of meeting.

6. தன் விரலை இரத்தத்தில் தோய்த்து, பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தின் திரைக்கு எதிரே கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் ஏழுதரம் தெளிக்கக்கடவன்.

6. The [cohen] is to dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle some of the blood seven times in the presence of ADONAI in front of the curtain of the sanctuary.

7. பின்பு, ஆசாரியன் அந்த இரத்தத்தில் கொஞ்சம் எடுத்து, ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்திலே கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் இருக்கும் சுகந்த தூபபீடத்துக் கொம்புகளின்மேல் பூசி, காளையினுடைய மற்ற இரத்தம் முழுவதையும் ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரவாசலுக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கிற தகனபலிபீடத்தின் அடியிலே ஊற்றிவிட்டு,

7. The [cohen] is to put some of the blood on the horns of the altar for fragrant incense before ADONAI there in the tent of meeting. All the remaining blood of the bull he is to pour out at the base of the altar for burnt offerings, which is at the entrance to the tent of meeting.

8. பாவநிவாரணபலியான காளையின் எல்லாக் கொழுப்புமாகிய குடல்களை மூடிய கொழுப்பையும், அவைகள்மேல் இருக்கிற கொழுப்பு முழுவதையும்,

8. He is to remove from the bull for the sin offering all of its fat- the fat covering the inner organs, all the fat above the inner organs,

9. இரண்டு குண்டிக்காய்களையும், அவைகள்மேல் சிறு குடல்களினிடத்தில் இருக்கிற கொழுப்பையும், குண்டிக்காய்களோடேகூடக் கல்லீரலின்மேல் இருக்கிற ஜவ்வையும்,

9. the two kidneys, the fat on them near the flanks, and the covering of the liver, which he will remove with the kidneys

10. சமாதானபலியின் காளையிலிருந்து எடுக்கிறதுபோல அதிலிருந்து எடுத்து, அவைகளைத் தகனபலிபீடத்தின்மேல் தகனிக்கக்கடவன்.

10. as it is removed from an ox sacrificed as a peace offering; and the [cohen] is to make these parts go up in smoke on the altar for burnt offerings.

11. காளையின் தோலையும், அதின் மாம்சம் முழுவதையும், அதின் தலையையும், தொடைகளையும், அதன் குடல்களையும், அதன் சாணியையும்,

11. But the bull's hide and all its flesh, with its head, the lower parts of its legs, its inner organs and dung-

12. காளை முழுவதையும் பாளயத்துக்குப் புறம்பே சாம்பல் கொட்டுகிற சுத்தமான இடத்திலே கொண்டுபோய், கட்டைகளின்மேல் போட்டு, அக்கினியாலே சுட்டெரிக்கக்கடவன்; சாம்பல் கொட்டியிருக்கிற இடத்திலே அதைச்சுட்டெரிக்கக்கடவன்.

12. in other words, the entire bull- he is to bring outside the camp to a clean place, where the ashes are emptied out. There he is to burn it on wood with fire; there, where the ashes are emptied out, it is to be burned up.

13. இஸ்ரவேல் சபையார் எல்லாரும் அறியாமையினால் பாவஞ்செய்து, காரியம் தங்கள் கண்களுக்கு மறைவாயிருக்கிறதினால், கர்த்தருடைய கட்டளைகளில் யாதொன்றை மீறி, செய்யத்தகாததைச் செய்து, பாவத்துக்குட்பட்டுக் குற்றவாளிகளானால்,

13. 'If the entire community of Isra'el inadvertently makes a mistake, with the assembly being unaware of the matter, and they do something against any of the [mitzvot] of ADONAI concerning things which should not be done, they are guilty.

14. அவர்கள் செய்த பாவம் தெரியவரும்போது, சபையார் அந்தப் பாவத்தினிமித்தம் ஒரு இளங்காளையை ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்துக்கு முன்பாகப் பலியிடக் கொண்டுவரவேண்டும்.

14. When the sin they have committed becomes known, then the assembly is to offer a young bull as a sin offering and bring it before the tent of meeting.

15. சபையின் மூப்பர் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் தங்கள் கைகளை அதின் தலைமேல் வைக்கக்கடவர்கள்; பின்பு கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் அந்தக் காளையைக் கொல்லவேண்டும்.

15. The leaders of the community are to lay their hands on the bull's head and slaughter the bull in the presence of ADONAI.

16. அப்பொழுது, அபிஷேகம் பெற்ற ஆசாரியன் அதின் இரத்தத்தில் கொஞ்சம் எடுத்து, ஆசரிப்புக்கூடாரத்தில் கொண்டுவந்து,

16. The anointed [cohen] is to bring some of the bull's blood to the tent of meeting.

17. தன் விரலை இரத்தத்தில் தோய்த்து, கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் திரைக்கு எதிரே ஏழுதரம் தெளித்து,

17. The [cohen] is to dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle it seven times in the presence of ADONAI in front of the curtain.

18. ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தில் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் இருக்கும் பலிபீடத்தின் கொம்புகளின்மேல் அந்த இரத்தத்தில் கொஞ்சம் பூசி, மற்ற இரத்தமெல்லாம் ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரவாசலில் இருக்கிற தகனபலிபீடத்தின் அடியிலே ஊற்றிவிட்டு,

18. He is to put some of the blood on the horns of the altar before ADONAI, there in the tent of meeting. All the remaining blood he is to pour out at the base of the altar for burnt offerings, which is at the entrance to the tent of meeting.

19. அதின் கொழுப்பு முழுவதையும் அதிலிருந்து எடுத்து, பலிபீடத்தின்மேல் தகனித்து,

19. He is to remove all its fat and make it go up in smoke on the altar.

20. பாவநிவாரணபலியின் காளையைச் செய்தபிரகாரம் இந்தக் காளையையும் செய்து, இவ்வண்ணமாய் ஆசாரியன் அவர்களுக்குப் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யக்கடவன்; அப்பொழுது அது அவர்களுக்கு மன்னிக்கப்படும்.

20. This is what he is to do with the bull- he must do the same with this bull as he does with the one for the sin offering. Thus the [cohen] will make atonement for them, and they will be forgiven.

21. பின்பு காளையைப் பாளயத்துக்குப் புறம்பே கொண்டுபோய், முந்தின காளையைச் சுட்டெரித்ததுபோலச் சுட்டெரிக்கக்கடவன்; இது சபைக்காகச் செய்யப்படும் பாவநிவாரணபலி.

21. He is to bring the bull outside the camp and burn it as he burned the first bull; it is the sin offering for the assembly.

22. ''When a leader sins and inadvertently does something against any of the [mitzvot] of ADONAI concerning things which should not be done, he is guilty.

23. தான் செய்தது பாவம் என்று தனக்குத் தெரியவரும்போது, அவன் வெள்ளாடுகளில் பழுதற்ற ஒரு இளங்கடாவைப் பலியாகக் கொண்டுவந்து,

23. If the sin which he committed becomes known to him, he is to bring as his offering a male goat without defect,

24. அந்தக் கடாவின் தலைமேல் தன் கையை வைத்து, கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் சர்வாங்கதகனபலி கொல்லப்படும் இடத்தில் அதைக்கொல்லக்கடவன்; இது பாவநிவாரணபலி.

24. lay his hand on the goat's head and slaughter it in the place where they slaughter the burnt offering in the presence of ADONAI; it is a sin offering.

25. அப்பொழுது ஆசாரியன் அதின் இரத்தத்தில் கொஞ்சம் தன் விரலால் எடுத்து, தகனபலிபீடத்துக் கொம்புகளின்மேல் பூசி, மற்ற இரத்தத்தைத் தகனபலிபீடத்தின் அடியிலே ஊற்றிவிட்டு,

25. The [cohen] is to take some of the blood of the sin offering with his finger and put it on the horns of the altar for burnt offerings. Its remaining blood he is to pour out at the base of the altar for burnt offerings.

26. அதின் கொழுப்பு முழுவதையும், சமாதானபலியின் கொழுப்பைப்போல, பலிபீடத்தின்மேல் தகனித்து, இவ்வண்ணமாய் ஆசாரியன் அவன் செய்த பாவத்தைக்குறித்து அவனுக்காகப் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யக்கடவன்; அப்பொழுது அது அவனுக்கு மன்னிக்கப்படும்.

26. All its fat he is to make go up in smoke on the altar, like the fat of the sacrifice for peace offerings; thus the [cohen] will make atonement for him in regard to his sin, and he will be forgiven.

27. சாதாரண ஜனங்களில் ஒருவன் அறியாமையினால் கர்த்தரின் கட்டளைகளில் யாதொன்றை மீறி, செய்யத்தகாததைச் செய்து, பாவத்துக்குட்பட்டுக் குற்றவாளியானால்,

27. 'If an individual among the people commits a sin inadvertently, doing something against any of the [mitzvot] of ADONAI concerning things which should not be done, he is guilty.

28. தான் செய்தது பாவம் என்று தனக்குத் தெரியவரும்போது. அவன் தான் செய்த பாவத்தினிமித்தம் வெள்ளாடுகளில் பழுதற்ற ஒரு பெண்குட்டியைப் பலியாகக் கொண்டுவந்து,

28. If the sin he committed becomes known to him, he is to bring as his offering a female goat without defect for the sin he committed,

29. பாவநிவாரணபலியின் தலைமேல் தன் கையை வைத்து, சர்வாங்கதகனபலியிடும் இடத்தில் அந்தப் பாவநிவாரணபலியைக் கொல்லக்கடவன்.

29. lay his hand on the head of the sin offering and slaughter the sin offering in the place of burnt offerings.

30. அப்பொழுது ஆசாரியன் அதின் இரத்தத்தில் கொஞ்சம் தன் விரலால் எடுத்து, தகனபலிபீடத்துக் கொம்புகளின்மேல் பூசி, மற்ற இரத்தமெல்லாம் பலிபீடத்தின் அடியிலே ஊற்றிவிட்டு,

30. The [cohen] is to take some of its blood with his finger and put it on the horns of the altar for burnt offerings. All its remaining blood he is to pour out at the base of the altar.

31. சமாதானபலியிலிருந்து கொழுப்பை எடுப்பதுபோல, அதின் கொழுப்பு முழுவதையும் எடுத்து, ஆசாரியன் பலிபீடத்தின்மேல் கர்த்தருக்குச் சுகந்த வாசனையாகத் தகனித்து, இவ்வண்ணமாய் அவனுக்குப் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யக்கடவன்; அப்பொழுது அது அவனுக்கு மன்னிக்கப்படும்.

31. All its fat he is to remove, as the fat is removed from the sacrifice for peace offerings; and the [cohen] is to make it go up in smoke on the altar as a fragrant aroma for ADONAI. Thus the [cohen] will make atonement for him, and he will be forgiven.

32. அவன் பாவநிவாரணபலியாக ஒரு ஆட்டுகுட்டியைக் கொண்டுவருவானாகில், பழுதற்ற பெண்குட்டியைக் கொண்டுவந்து,

32. ''If he brings a lamb as his sin offering, he is to bring a female without defect,

33. அந்தப் பாவநிவாரணபலியின் தலைமேல் தன் கையை வைத்து, சர்வாங்கதகனபலி கொல்லப்படும் இடத்தில் அதைப் பாவநிவாரணபலியாகக் கொல்லக்கடவன்.

33. lay his hand on the head of the sin offering and slaughter it as a sin offering in the place where they slaughter burnt offerings.

34. அப்பொழுது ஆசாரியன் அந்தப்பாவநிவாரணபலியின் இரத்தத்தில் கொஞ்சம் தன் விரலால் எடுத்து, தகனபலிபீடத்துக் கொம்புகளின்மேல் பூசி, மற்ற இரத்தமெல்லாம் பலிபீடத்தின் அடியிலே ஊற்றிவிட்டு,

34. The [cohen] is to take some of the blood of the sin offering with his finger and put it on the horns of the altar for burnt offerings. All its remaining blood he is to pour out at the base of the altar.

35. சமாதானபலியான ஆட்டுக்குட்டியின் கொழுப்பை எடுக்கிறதுபோல அதன் கொழுப்பு முழுவதையும் எடுத்து, கர்த்தருக்கு இடப்படும் தகனபலிகளைப்போல, பலிபீடத்தின்மேல் ஆசாரியன் தகனிக்கவேண்டும்; இவ்வண்ணமாய் அவன் செய்த பாவத்துக்கு ஆசாரியன் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யக்கடவன்; அப்பொழுது அது அவனுக்கு மன்னிக்கப்படும்.

35. All its fat he is to remove, as the fat of a lamb is removed from the sacrifice for peace offerings; and the [cohen] is to make it go up in smoke on the altar on top of the offerings for ADONAI made by fire. Thus the [cohen] will make atonement for him in regard to the sin he committed, and he will be forgiven.
