1. நீங்கள் உங்களுக்கு விக்கிரகங்களையும் சுரூபங்களையும் உண்டாக்காமலும், உங்களுக்குச் சிலையை நிறுத்தாமலும், சித்திரந்தீர்ந்த கல்லை நமஸ்கரிக்கும்பொருட்டு உங்கள் தேசத்தில் வைக்காமலும் இருப்பீர்களாக; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்.

1. Ye shall make you no idols, nor graven image, neither rear you up any pillar, neither ye shall set up any image of stone in your land to bow your selves thereto: for I am the LORD your God;

2. என் ஓய்வுநாட்களை ஆசரித்து, என் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தைக்குறித்துப் பயபக்தியாயிருப்பீர்களாக; நான் கர்த்தர்.

2. keep my Sabbaths and fear my sanctuary. For I am the LORD.

3. நீங்கள் என் கட்டளைகளின்படி நடந்து, என் கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு, அவைகளின்படி செய்தால்,

3. If ye shall walk in mine ordinances and keep my commandments and do them,

4. நான் ஏற்ற காலத்தில் உங்களுக்கு மழை பெய்யப்பண்ணுவேன்; பூமி தன் பலனையும், வெளியிலுள்ள மரங்கள் தங்கள் கனியையும் கொடுக்கும்.

4. then I will send you rain in the right season and your land shall yield her increase and the trees of the field shall give their fruit.

5. திராட்சப்பழம் பறிக்குங் காலம் வரைக்கும் போரடிப்புக் காலம் இருக்கும்; விதைப்புக் காலம்வரைக்கும் திராட்சப்பழம் பறிக்குங் காலம் இருக்கும்; நீங்கள் உங்கள் அப்பத்தைத் திருப்தியாகச் சாப்பிட்டு, உங்கள் தேசத்தில் சுகமாய்க் குடியிருப்பீர்கள்.

5. And the threshing shall reach unto wine harvest, and the wine harvest shall reach unto sowing time, and ye shall eat your bread in plenteousness, and shall dwell in your land peaceably.

6. தேசத்தில் சமாதானம் கட்டளையிடுவேன்; தத்தளிக்கப்பண்ணுவார் இல்லாமல் படுத்துக்கொள்வீர்கள்; துஷ்ட மிருகங்களைத் தேசத்தில் இராதபடிக்கு ஒழியப்பண்ணுவேன்; பட்டயம் உங்கள் தேசத்தில் உலாவுவதில்லை.

6. And I will send peace in your land, that ye shall sleep, and no man shall make you afraid. And I will rid evil beasts out of your land, and there shall no sword go thorowout your land.

7. உங்கள் சத்துருக்களைத் துரத்துவீர்கள்; அவர்கள் உங்கள் முன்பாகப் பட்டயத்தால் விழுவார்கள்.

7. And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you upon the sword.

8. உங்களில் ஐந்துபேர் நூறுபேரைத் துரத்துவார்கள்; உங்களில் நூறுபேர் பதினாயிரம்பேரைத் துரத்துவார்கள்; உங்கள் சத்துருக்கள் உங்களுக்கு முன்பாகப் பட்டயத்தால் விழுவார்கள்.

8. And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight, and your enemies shall fall before you upon the sword.

9. நான் உங்கள்மேல் கண்ணோக்கமாயிருந்து, உங்களைப் பலுகவும் பெருகவும் பண்ணி, உங்களோடே என் உடன்படிக்கையைத் திடப்படுத்துவேன்.

9. And I will turn unto you and increase you and multiply you, and set up my testament with you.

10. போன வருஷத்துப் பழைய தானியத்தைச் சாப்பிட்டு, புதிய தானியத்துக்கு இடமுண்டாகும்படி, பழையதை விலக்குவீர்கள்.

10. And ye shall eat old store, and cast out the old for plenteousness of the new.

11. உங்கள் நடுவில் என் வாசஸ்தலத்தை ஸ்தாபிப்பேன்; என் ஆத்துமா உங்களை அரோசிப்பதில்லை.

11. I will make my dwelling place among you, and my soul shall not loathe you.

12. நான் உங்கள் நடுவிலே உலாவி, உங்கள் தேவனாயிருப்பேன், நீங்கள் என் ஜனமாயிருப்பீர்கள்.

12. And I will walk among you and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.

13. நீங்கள் எகிப்தியருக்கு அடிமைகளாயிராதபடிக்கு, நான் அவர்கள் தேசத்திலிருந்து உங்களைப் புறப்படப்பண்ணி, உங்கள் நுகத்தடிகளை முறித்து, உங்களை நிமிர்ந்து நடக்கப்பண்ணின உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்.

13. For I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of the Egyptians, that ye should not be their bondmen, and I brake the bows of your yokes, and made you go up right.

14. நீங்கள் எனக்குச் செவிகொடாமலும், இந்தக் கற்பனைகள் எல்லாவற்றின்படி செய்யாமலும்,

14. But and if ye will not hearken unto me, nor will do all these my commandments,

15. என் கட்டளைகளை வெறுத்து, உங்கள் ஆத்துமா என் நியாயங்களை அரோசித்து, என் கற்பனைகள் எல்லாவற்றின்படி.யும் செய்யாதபடிக்கு, என் உடன்படிக்கையை நீங்கள் மீறிப்போடுவீர்களாகில்:

15. or if ye shall despise mine ordinances either if your souls refuse my laws, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but shall break mine appointment:

16. நான் உங்களுக்குச் செய்வது என்னவென்றால், கண்களைப் பூத்துப்போகப்பண்ணுகிறதற்கும், இருதயத்தைத் துயரப்படுத்துகிறதற்கும், திகிலையும் ஈளையையும் காய்ச்சலையும் உங்களுக்கு வரப்பண்ணுவேன்; நீங்கள் விதைக்கும் விதை விருதாவாயிருக்கும்; உங்கள் சத்துருக்கள் அதின் பலனைத் தின்பார்கள்.

16. then I will do this again unto you: I will visit you with vexations, swelling and fevers, that shall make your eyes dazzle, and with sorrows of heart. And ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

17. நான் உங்களுக்கு விரோதமாக என் முகத்தைத் திருப்புவேன்; உங்கள் சத்துருக்களுக்கு முன்பாக முறிய அடிக்கப்படுவீர்கள்; உங்கள் பகைஞர் உங்களை ஆளுவார்கள்; துரத்துவார் இல்லாதிருந்தும் ஓடுவீர்கள்.

17. And I will set my face against you and ye shall fall before your enemies, and they that hate you shall reign over you, and ye shall flee when no man followeth you.

18. இவ்விதமாய் நான் உங்களுக்குச் செய்தும், இன்னும் நீங்கள் எனக்குச் செவிகொடாதிருந்தால், உங்கள் பாவங்களினிமித்தம் பின்னும் ஏழத்தனையாக உங்களைத் தண்டித்து,

18. And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then will I punish you seven times more for your sins,

19. உங்கள் வல்லமையின் பெருமையை முறித்து, உங்கள் வானத்தை இரும்பைப் போலவும், உங்கள் பூமியை வெண்கலத்தைப்போலவும் ஆக்குவேன்.

19. and will break the pride of your strength. For I will make the heaven over you as hard as iron, and your land as hard as brass.

20. உங்கள் பெலன் விருதாவிலே செலவழியும், உங்கள் தேசம் தன் பலனையும், தேசத்தின் மரங்கள் தங்கள் கனிகளையும் கொடுக்கமாட்டாது.

20. And so your labour shall be spent in vain. For your land shall not give her increase, neither the trees of the land shall give their fruits.

21. நீங்கள் எனக்குச் செவிகொடுக்க மனதில்லாமல், எனக்கு எதிர்த்து நடப்பீர்களானால், நான் உங்கள் பாவங்களுக்குத்தக்கதாக இன்னும் ஏழத்தனை வாதையை உங்கள்மேல் வரப்பண்ணி,
வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 15:1-6-8, வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 21:9

21. And if ye walk contrary unto me and will not hearken unto me, I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.

22. உங்களுக்குள்ளே வெளியின் துஷ்ட மிருகங்களை வரவிடுவேன்; அவைகள் உங்களைப் பிள்ளைகளற்றவர்களாக்கி, உங்கள் மிருகஜீவன்களை அழித்து, உங்களைக் குறைந்துபோகப்பண்ணும்; உங்கள் வழிகள் பாழாய்க் கிடக்கும்.

22. I will send in wild beasts upon you, which shall rob you of your children and destroy your cattle, and make you so few in number that your high ways shall grow unto a wilderness.

23. நான் செய்யும் தண்டனையினால் நீங்கள் குணப்படாமல், எனக்கு எதிர்த்து நடந்தால்,

23. And if ye will not be learned yet for all this but shall walk contrary unto me,

24. நான் உங்களுக்கு எதிர்த்து நடந்து, உங்கள் பாவங்களினிமித்தம் ஏழத்தனையாக வாதித்து,

24. then will I also walk contrary unto you and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.

25. என் உடன்படிக்கையை மீறினதற்குப் பழிவாங்கும் பட்டயத்தை உங்கள்மேல் வரப்பண்ணி, நீங்கள் உங்கள் பட்டணங்களில் சேர்ந்தபின், கொள்ளைநோயை உங்கள் நடுவிலே அனுப்புவேன்; சத்துருவின் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கப்படுவீர்கள்.

25. I will send a sword upon you, that shall avenge my testament with you. And when ye are fled unto your cities, I will send the pestilence among you, ye shall be delivered into the hands of your enemies.

26. உங்கள் அப்பம் என்னும் ஆதரவு கோலை நான் முறித்துப்போடும்போது, பத்து ஸ்திரீகள் ஒரே அடுப்பில் உங்கள் அப்பத்தைச் சுட்டு, அதைத் திரும்ப உங்களுக்கு நிறுத்துக்கொடுப்பார்கள்; நீங்கள் சாப்பிட்டும் திருப்தியடையமாட்டீர்கள்.

26. And when I have broken the staff of your bread: that ten wives shall bake your bread in one oven and men shall deliver you your bread again by weight, then shall ye eat and shall not be satisfied.

27. இன்னும் இவைகளெல்லாவற்றாலும் நீங்கள் எனக்குச் செவிகொடாமல், எனக்கு எதிர்த்து நடந்தால்,

27. And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, but shall walk contrary unto me,

28. நானும் உக்கிரத்தோடே உங்களுக்கு எதிர்த்து நடந்து, நானே உங்கள் பாவங்களினிமித்தம் உங்களை ஏழத்தனையாய்த் தண்டிப்பேன்.

28. then I will walk contrary unto you also wrathfully, and will also chastise you seven times for your sins:

29. உங்கள் குமாரரின் மாம்சத்தையும் உங்கள் குமாரத்திகளின் மாம்சத்தையும் புசிப்பீர்கள்.

29. so that ye shall eat the flesh of your sons and the flesh of your daughters.

30. நான் உங்கள் மேடைகளை அழித்து, உங்கள் விக்கிரகச் சிலைகளை நிர்த்தூளியாக்கி, உங்கள் உடல்களை உங்கள் நரகலான தேவர்களுடைய உடல்கள்மேல் எறிவேன்; என் ஆத்துமா உங்களை அரோசிக்கும்.

30. And I will destroy your altars built upon high hills, and overthrow your images, and cast your carcasses upon the bodies of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.

31. நான் உங்கள் பட்டணங்களை வெறுமையும், உங்கள் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலங்களைப் பாழுமாக்கி, உங்கள் சுகந்த வாசனையை முகராதிருப்பேன்.

31. And I will make your cities desolate, and bring your sanctuaries unto nought, and will not smell the savours of your sweet odours.

32. நான் தேசத்தைப் பாழாக்குவேன்; அதிலே குடியிருக்கிற உங்கள் சத்துருக்கள் பிரமிப்பார்கள்.

32. And I will bring the land unto a wilderness: so that your enemies which dwell therein shall wonder at it.

33. ஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே உங்களைச் சிதற அடித்து, உங்கள் பின்னாகப் பட்டயத்தை உருவுவேன்; உங்கள் தேசம் பாழும், உங்கள் பட்டணங்கள் வனாந்தரமுமாகும்.

33. And I will straw you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you, and your land shall be waste, and your cities desolate.

34. நீங்கள் உங்கள் சத்துருக்களின் தேசத்தில் இருக்கும்போது, தேசமானது பாழாய்க்கிடக்கிற நாளெல்லாம் தன் ஓய்வுநாட்களை இரம்மியமாய் அநுபவிக்கும்; அப்பொழுது தேசம் ஓய்வடைந்து, தன் ஓய்வுநாட்களை இரம்மியமாய் அநுபவிக்கும்.

34. Then the land shall rejoice in her Sabbaths, as long as it lieth void and ye in your enemies' land: even then shall the land keep holy day and rejoice in her Sabbaths.

35. நீங்கள் அதிலே குடியிருக்கும்போது, அது உங்கள் ஓய்வு வருஷங்களில் ஓய்வடையாதபடியினாலே, அது பாழாய்க்கிடக்கும் நாளெல்லாம் ஓய்வடைந்திருக்கும்.

35. And as long as it lieth void it shall rest, for that it could not rest in your Sabbaths, when ye dwelt therein.

36. உங்களில் உயிரோடு மீதியாயிருப்பவர்களின் இருதயங்கள் தங்கள் சத்துருக்களின் தேசங்களில் மனத்தளர்ச்சி அடையும்படி செய்வேன்; அசைகிற இலையின் சத்தமும் அவர்களை ஓட்டும்; அவர்கள் பட்டயத்திற்குத் தப்பி ஓடுகிறது போல ஓடி, துரத்துவார் இல்லாமல் விழுவார்கள்.

36. And upon them that are left alive of you, I will send a faintness into their hearts in the land of their enemies: so that the sound of a leaf that falleth, shall chase them and they shall flee as though they fled a sword, and shall fall no man following them.

37. துரத்துவார் இல்லாமல், பட்டயத்துக்கு முன் விழுவதுபோல, ஒருவர்மேல் ஒருவர் இடறிவிழுவார்கள்; உங்கள் சத்துருக்களுக்குமுன் நிற்க உங்களுக்குப் பெலன் இராது.

37. And they shall fall one upon another, as it were before a sword even no man following them, and ye shall have no power to stand before your enemies:

38. புறஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே அழிந்துபோவீர்கள்; உங்கள் சத்துருக்களின் தேசம் உங்களைப் பட்சிக்கும்.

38. And ye shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.

39. உங்களில் தப்பினவர்கள் தங்கள் அக்கிரமங்களினிமித்தமும், தங்கள் பிதாக்களின் அக்கிரமங்களினிமித்தமும், உங்கள் சத்துருக்களின் தேசங்களில் வாடிப்போவார்கள்.

39. And they that are left of you, shall pine away in their unrighteousness, even in their enemies' land, and also in the misdeeds of their fathers shall they consume.

40. அவர்கள் எனக்கு விரோதமாகத் துரோகம்பண்ணி நடப்பித்த தங்கள் அக்கிரமத்தையும், தங்கள் பிதாக்களின் அக்கிரமத்தையும் அறிக்கையிடுகிறதுமன்றி,

40. And they shall confess their misdeeds and the misdeeds of their fathers in their trespasses which they have trespassed against me, and for that also that they have walked contrary unto me.

41. அவர்கள் எனக்கு எதிர்த்து நடந்தபடியினால், நானும் அவர்களுக்கு எதிர்த்து நடந்து, அவர்களுடைய சத்துருக்களின் தேசத்திலே அவர்களைக் கொண்டுபோய் விட்டதையும் அறிக்கையிட்டு, விருத்த சேதனமில்லாத தங்கள் இருதயத்தைத் தாழ்த்தி, தங்கள் அக்கிரமத்துக்குக் கிடைத்த தண்டனையை நியாயம் என்று ஒத்துக்கொண்டால்,

41. Therefore I also will walk contrary unto them, and will bring them into the land of their enemies. And then at the least way their uncircumcised hearts shall be tamed, and then they shall make an atonement for their misdeeds.

42. நான் யாக்கோபோடே பண்ணின என் உடன்படிக்கையையும், ஈசாக்கோடே பண்ணின என் உடன்படிக்கையையும், ஆபிரகாமோடே பண்ணின என் உடன்படிக்கையையும் நினைப்பேன்; தேசத்தையும் நினைப்பேன்.

42. And I will remember my bond with Jacob and my testament with Isaac, and my testament with Abraham, and will think on the land.

43. தேசம் அவர்களாலே விடப்பட்டு, பாழாய்க்கிடக்கிறதினாலே தன் ஓய்வுநாட்களை இரம்மியமாய் அநுபவிக்கும்; அவர்கள் என் நியாயங்களை அவமதித்து, அவர்களுடைய ஆத்துமா என் கட்டளைகளை வெறுத்தபடியினால் அடைந்த தங்களுடைய அக்கிரமத்தின் தண்டனையை நியாயம் என்று ஒத்துக்கொள்ளுவார்கள்.

43. For the land shall be left of them and shall have pleasure in her Sabbaths, while she lieth waste without them, and they shall make an atonement for their misdeeds, because they despised my laws and their souls refused mine ordinances.

44. அவர்கள் தங்கள் சத்துருக்களின் தேசத்திலிருந்தாலும், நான் அவர்களை நிர்மூலமாக்கத்தக்கதாகவும், நான் அவர்களோடே பண்ணின என் உடன்படிக்கையை அபத்தமாக்கத்தக்கதாகவும், நான் அவர்களைக் கைவிடவும் வெறுக்கவும் மாட்டேன்; நான் அவர்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்.

44. And yet for all that when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not so cast them away nor my soul shall not so abhor them, that I will utterly destroy them and break mine appointment with them: for I am the LORD their God.

45. அவர்களுடைய தேவனாயிருக்கும்படிக்கு, நான் புறஜாதிகளின் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து அவர்களைப் புறப்படச்செய்து, அவர்களுடைய முன்னோர்களோடே நான் பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கையை அவர்கள்நிமித்தம் நினைவுகூருவேன்; நான் கர்த்தர் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

45. I will therefore remember unto them the first covenant made when I brought them out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen to be their God: for I am the LORD.

46. கர்த்தர் தமக்கும் இஸ்ரவேல் சந்ததியாருக்கும் நடுவே இருக்கும்படி மோசேயைக்கொண்டு, சீனாய்மலையின்மேல் கொடுத்த கட்டளைகளும் நியாயங்களும் இவைகளே.

46. These are the ordinances, judgements, and laws which the LORD made between him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.
