1. யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய எசேக்கியாவின் மனுஷர் பேர்த்தெழுதின சாலொமோனுடைய நீதிமொழிகள்:

1. These too are proverbs of Solomon, which the men of Hezekiah, king of Judah, copied.

2. காரியத்தை மறைப்பது தேவனுக்கு மேன்மை; காரியத்தை ஆராய்வதோ ராஜாக்களுக்கு மேன்மை.

2. It is the glory of God to conceal a matter and the glory of kings to investigate a matter.

3. வானத்தின் உயரமும், பூமியின் ஆழமும், ராஜாக்களின் இருதயங்களும் ஆராய்ந்துமுடியாது.
