1. தூபங்காட்டுகிறதற்கு ஒரு தூபபீடத்தையும் சீத்திம் மரத்தினால் உண்டாக்குவாயாக.

1. And you shall make an altar to burn incense upon. You shall make it of acacia-wood.

2. அது ஒரு முழ நீளமும் ஒரு முழ அகலமுமான சதுரமும், இரண்டு முழ உயரமுமாய் இருக்கவேண்டும், அதின் கொம்புகள் அதனோடே ஏகமுமாயிருக்க வேண்டும்.

2. A cubit shall be its length, and a cubit its breadth. It shall be square. And two cubits shall be the height of it, its horns from itself.

3. அதின் மேற்புறத்தையும் சுற்றுப்புறத்தையும் அதின் கொம்புகளையும் பசும்பொன்தகட்டால் மூடி, சுற்றிலும் அதற்குப் பொன்திரணையை உண்டுபண்ணி,

3. And you shall overlay it with pure gold, its top, and its sides all around, and its horns. And you shall make to it a crown of gold all around.

4. அந்தத் திரணையின்கீழே அதின் இரண்டு பக்கங்களிலும் அதைச் சுமக்கும் தண்டுகளின் இடங்களாகிய அதின் இரண்டு பக்கத்து இரண்டு மூலைகளிலும் இரண்டு பொன் வளையங்களை உண்டாக்குவாயாக.

4. And you shall make two golden rings to it under the crown of it, by the two corners of it, upon the two sides of it you shall make it. And they shall be housings for the staves to bear it with.

5. அந்தத் தண்டுகளையும் சீத்திம் மரத்தால் பண்ணி, அவைகளையும் பொன்தகட்டால் மூடக்கடவாய்.

5. And you shall make the staves of acacia-wood and overlay them with gold.

6. சாட்சிப்பெட்டிக்கு முன்னிருக்கும் திரைச்சீலைக்கும், நான் உன்னைச் சந்திக்கும் இடமாகிய சாட்சி சந்நிதியின்மேலுள்ள கிருபாசனத்துக்கும் முன்பாக அதை வைக்கக்கடவாய்.

6. And you shall put it before the veil that is by the ark of the testimony, in front of the mercy-seat that is beside the testimony, where I will meet with you.

7. And Aaron shall burn sweet incense on it every morning; when he dresses the lamps he shall burn it.

8. உங்கள் தலைமுறைதோறும் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் காட்டவேண்டிய நித்திய தூபம் இதுவே.

8. And when Aaron lights the lamps at evening, he shall burn it, a perpetual incense before Jehovah throughout your generations.

9. அதின்மேல் அந்நிய தூபத்தையாகிலும், தகனபலியையாகிலும், போஜனபலியையாகிலும் படைக்கவேண்டாம்; அதின்மேல் பானபலியை ஊற்றவும்வேண்டாம்.

9. You shall offer no strange incense on it, nor burnt sacrifice, nor meal offering. Neither shall you pour drink offering on it.

10. வருஷத்தில் ஒருமுறை ஆரோன் பாவநிவாரணபலியின் இரத்தத்தினால் அதின் கொம்புகளின்மேல் பிராயச்சித்தம்பண்ணுவானாக; உங்கள் தலைமுறைதோறும் வருஷத்தில் ஒருமுறை அதின்மேல் பிராயச்சித்தம்பண்ணுவானாக; அது கர்த்தருக்கு மகா பரிசுத்தமானது என்றார்.

10. And Aaron shall make an atonement upon the horns of it once in a year with the blood of the sin offerings of atonement. He shall make atonement on it once in the year throughout your generations. It is most holy to Jehovah.

11. பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

11. And Jehovah spoke to Moses saying,

12. நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரை அவர்கள் இலக்கத்தின்படி கணக்குப்பார்க்கும் பொருட்டு, அவர்களை எண்ணும்போது, அவர்களுக்குள்ளே ஒரு வாதை உண்டாகாதபடிக்கு, அவர்களில் ஒவ்வொருவனும் எண்ணப்படும் சமயத்தில் தன்தன் ஆத்துமாவுக்காகக் கர்த்தருக்கு மீட்கும் பொருளைக் கொடுக்கக்கடவன்.

12. When you count the sons of Israel, of those who are to be counted, then they shall each man give a ransom for his soul to Jehovah when you number them, so that there may be no plague among them when you number them.

13. எண்ணப்படுகிறவர்களின் தொகையிலே சேருகிற ஒவ்வொருவனும் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்துச் சேக்கல் கணக்கின்படி அரைச்சேக்கல் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்; ஒரு சேக்கலுக்கு இருபது கேரா; கர்த்தருக்குச் செலுத்தப்படுவது அரைச்சேக்கல்.

13. They shall give this, every one that passes among those who are counted, half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary (a shekel is twenty gerahs); a half shekel shall be the offering of Jehovah.

14. எண்ணப்படுகிறவர்களின் தொகையிலே சேருகிற இருபது வயது முதற்கொண்டு அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட ஒவ்வொருவனும் அதைக் கர்த்தருக்குச் செலுத்தவேண்டும்.

14. Everyone that passes among those who are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering to Jehovah.

15. உங்கள் ஆத்துமாக்களுக்காகப் பாவநிவிர்த்திபண்ணும்படி நீங்கள் கர்த்தருக்குக் காணிக்கை செலுத்தும்போது, ஐசுவரியவான் அரைச்சேக்கலுக்கு அதிகமாய்க் கொடுக்கவும் வேண்டாம், தரித்திரன் அதற்குக் குறைவாகக் கொடுக்கவும் வேண்டாம்.

15. The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less, than half a shekel, when they give an offering to Jehovah to make an atonement for your souls.

16. அந்தப் பாவநிவிர்த்தி பணத்தை நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் கையில் வாங்கி, அதை ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தின் திருப்பணிக்குக் கொடுப்பாயாக; அது கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் உங்கள் ஆத்துமாக்களுக்காகப் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யும்பொருட்டு, இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்கு ஞாபகக்குறியாயிருக்கும் என்றார்.

16. And you shall take the atonement silver of the sons of Israel, and shall appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of the congregation, so that it may be a memorial to the sons of Israel before Jehovah, to make an atonement for your souls.

17. பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

17. And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

18. கழுவுகிறதற்கு வெண்கலத்தால் ஒரு தொட்டியையும், வெண்கலத்தால் அதின் பாதத்தையும் உண்டாக்கி, அதை ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்திற்கும் பலிபீடத்திற்கும் நடுவே வைத்து, அதிலே தண்ணீர் வார்ப்பாயாக.

18. You shall also make a laver of bronze and its foot also of bronze, for washing. And you shall put it between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar. And you shall put water in it,

19. அதனிடத்தில் ஆரோனும் அவன் குமாரரும் தங்கள் கைகளையும் தங்கள் கால்களையும் கழுவக்கடவர்கள்.

19. for Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet there.

20. அவர்கள் ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்திற்குள் பிரவேசிக்கும்போதும், கர்த்தருக்குத் தகனத்தைக் கொளுத்தவும் பலிபீடத்தினிடத்தில் ஆராதனைசெய்யவும் சேரும்போதும், அவர்கள் சாகாதபடிக்குத் தண்ணீரினால் தங்களைக் கழுவக்கடவர்கள்.

20. When they go into the tabernacle of the congregation, they shall wash with water so that they do not die. Or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn an offering made by fire to Jehovah,

21. அவர்கள் சாகாதபடிக்குத் தங்கள் கைகளையும் தங்கள் கால்களையும் கழுவக்கடவர்கள்; இது தலைமுறைதோறும் அவனுக்கும் அவன் சந்ததியாருக்கும் நித்திய கட்டளையாயிருக்கும் என்றார்.

21. they shall wash their hands and their feet, so that they do not die. And it shall be a statute forever to them, to him and to his seed throughout their generations.

22. பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

22. And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

23. மேன்மையான சுகந்தவர்க்கங்களாகிய சுத்தமான வெள்ளைப்போளத்தில் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தின் சேக்கலின்படி ஐந்நூறு சேக்கல் எடையையும், சுகந்த கருவாப்பட்டையிலே அதில் பாதியாகிய இருநூற்று ஐம்பது சேக்கல் எடையையும், சுகந்த வசம்பில் இருநூற்று ஐம்பது சேக்கல் எடையையும்,

23. Take also to you principal spices, five hundred shekels of pure myrrh, and half as much of sweet cinnamon, even two hundred and fifty shekels, and two hundred and fifty shekels of sweet calamus,

24. இலவங்கப்பட்டையில் ஐந்நூறு சேக்கல் எடையையும், ஒலிவ எண்ணெயில் ஒரு குடம் எண்ணெயையும் எடுத்து,

24. and five hundred of cassia, after the shekel of the sanctuary, and a hin of olive oil.

25. அதனால், பரிமள தைலக்காரன் செய்வதுபோல, கூட்டப்பட்ட பரிமளதைலமாகிய சுத்தமான அபிஷேக தைலத்தை உண்டுபண்ணுவாயாக; அது பரிசுத்த அபிஷேக தைலமாயிருக்கக்கடவது.

25. And you shall make it an oil of holy ointment, an ointment compound after the art of the perfumer. It shall be a holy anointing oil.

26. அதினாலே ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தையும், சாட்சிப்பெட்டியையும்,

26. And you shall anoint the tabernacle of the congregation with it, and the ark of the testimony,

27. மேஜையையும், அதின் பணிமுட்டுகள் எல்லாவற்றையும், குத்துவிளக்கையும், அதின் கருவிகளையும், தூபபீடத்தையும்,

27. and the table and all its vessels, and the lampstand and its vessels, and the altar of incense,

28. தகன பலிபீடத்தையும் அதின் பணிமுட்டுகள் எல்லாவற்றையும், தொட்டியையும், அதின் பாதத்தையும் அபிஷேகம்பண்ணி,

28. and the altar of burnt offerings with all its vessels, and the laver and its foot.

29. அவைகள் மகா பரிசுத்தமாயிருக்கும்படிக்கு, அவைகளைப் பரிசுத்தப்படுத்துவாயாக; அவைகளைத் தொடுகிறதெல்லாம் பரிசுத்தமாயிருக்கும்.

29. And you shall sanctify them so that they may be most holy. Whatever touches them shall be holy.

30. ஆரோனும் அவன் குமாரரும் எனக்கு ஆசாரிய ஊழியம் செய்யும்படிக்கு, நீ அவர்களை அபிஷேகம்பண்ணி, அவர்களைப் பரிசுத்தப்படுத்துவாயாக.

30. And you shall anoint Aaron and his sons and consecrate them, so that they may minister to Me in the priest's office.

31. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடே நீ பேசிச்சொல்லவேண்டியதாவது: உங்கள் தலைமுறைதோறும் இது எனக்குரிய பரிசுத்த அபிஷேக தைலமாயிருக்கவேண்டும்.

31. And you shall speak to the sons of Israel saying, This shall be a holy anointing oil to Me throughout your generations.

32. இது மனிதருடைய சரீரத்தின்மேல் வார்க்கப்படலாகாது; இது செய்யப்பட்ட முறையின்படி அவர்கள் வேறொரு தைலத்தைச் செய்யவுங்கூடாது; இது பரிசுத்தமானது, இது உங்களுக்குப் பரிசுத்தமாயிருப்பதாக.

32. It shall not be poured upon man's flesh, neither shall you make any other like it, according to the way it is made. It is holy, and it shall be holy to you.

33. இந்த முறையின்படியே தைலங்கூட்டுகிறவனும், அதில் எடுத்து அந்நியன்மேல் வார்க்கிறவனும், தன் ஜனத்தில் இராதபடிக்கு அறுப்புண்டுபோகக்கடவன் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

33. Whoever compounds any like it, or whoever puts any of it upon a stranger, shall even be cut off from his people.

34. பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: சுத்த வெள்ளைப்போளமும் குங்கிலியமும் அல்பான் பிசினுமாகிய கந்தவர்க்கங்களையும் சுத்தமான சாம்பிராணியையும் நீ சமநிறையாக எடுத்து,

34. And Jehovah said to Moses, Take to yourself sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum; sweet spices with pure frankincense, a part of each one.

35. தைலக்காரன் செய்கிறதுபோல அதற்குப் பரிமளமேற்றி, துப்புரவான பரிசுத்த தூபவர்க்கமாக்கி,

35. And you shall make it a perfume, an incense according to the art of the perfumer, salted, pure and holy.

36. அதில் கொஞ்சம் எடுத்துப் பொடியாக இடித்து, நான் உன்னைச் சந்திக்கும் ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்திலிருக்கும் சாட்சி சந்நிதியில் வைப்பாயாக; அது உங்களுக்கு மகா பரிசுத்தமாயிருக்கக்கடவது.

36. And you shall beat some of it very small, and put it before the testimony in the tabernacle of the congregation, where I will meet with you. It shall be most holy to you.

37. இந்தத் தூபவர்க்கத்தை நீ செய்யவேண்டிய முறையின்படி உங்களுக்காகச் செய்துகொள்ளலாகாது; இது கர்த்தருக்கென்று உனக்குப் பரிசுத்தமாயிருப்பதாக.

37. And the perfume which you shall make, you shall not make any for yourselves according to the way it is made. It shall be holy to you for Jehovah.

38. இதற்கு ஒப்பானதை முகருகிறதற்காகச் செய்கிறவன் தன் ஜனத்தில் இராதபடி அறுப்புண்டுபோகக்கடவன் என்றார்.

38. Whoever shall make any like that, to smell of it, shall even be cut off from his people.
