4. I will establish your seed forever, and build up your throne to all generations. Pause.

5. The heavens shall declare Your wonders, O Lord; and Your truth in the assembly of the saints.

6. For who in the heavens shall be compared to the Lord? And who shall be likened to the Lord among the sons of God?

7. God is glorified in the council of the saints; great and terrible toward all that are round about Him.

9. You rule the power of the sea; and You calm the tumult of its waves.

10. You have brought down the proud as one that is slain; and with the arm of Your power You have scattered Your enemies.

12. You have created the north and the west; Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in Your name.

13. Yours is the mighty arm; let Your hand be strengthened, let Your right hand be exalted.

14. நீதியும் நியாயமும் உம்முடைய சிங்காசனத்தின் ஆதாரம்; கிருபையும் சத்தியமும் உமக்கு முன்பாக நடக்கும்.

14. Justice and judgment are the establishment of Your throne; mercy and truth shall go before Your face.

15. கெம்பீரசத்தத்தை அறியும் ஜனங்கள் பாக்கியமுள்ளவர்கள்; கர்த்தாவே, அவர்கள் உம்முடைய முகத்தின் வெளிச்சத்தில் நடப்பார்கள்.

15. Blessed are the people that knows the joyful sound; they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of Your countenance.

16. And in Your name shall they rejoice all the day; and in Your righteousness shall they be exalted.

17. For You are the boast of their strength; and in Your good pleasure shall our horn be exalted,

18. for [our] help is of the Lord; and of the Holy One of Israel, our King.

19. Then You spoke in a vision to Your children, and said, I have laid help on a mighty one; I have exalted one chosen out of My people.

22. The enemy shall have no advantage against him; and the son of transgression shall not hurt him again.

23. And I will hew down his foes before him, and put to flight those that hate him.

24. But My truth and My mercy shall be with him; and in My name shall his horn be exalted.

25. And I will set his hand in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.

27. And I will make him [My] firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.

28. I will keep My mercy for him forever, and My covenant [shall be] firm with him.

29. அவன் சந்ததி என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைத்திருக்கவும், அவன் ராஜாசனம் வானங்களுள்ளமட்டும் நிலைநிற்கவும் செய்வேன்.

29. And I will establish his seed forever and ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.

30. அவன் பிள்ளைகள் என் நியாயங்களின்படி நடவாமல், என் வேதத்தை விட்டு விலகி;

30. If his children should forsake My law, and walk not in My judgments;

31. என் கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளாமல் என் நியமங்களை மீறி நடந்தால்;

31. if they should profane My ordinances, and not keep My commandments;

32. அவர்கள் மீறுதலை மிலாற்றினாலும், அவர்கள் அக்கிரமத்தை வாதைகளினாலும் தண்டிப்பேன்.

32. I will visit their transgressions with a rod, and their sins with scourges.

33. ஆனாலும் என் கிருபையை அவனை விட்டு விலக்காமலும், என் உண்மையில் பிசகாமலும் இருப்பேன்.

33. But My mercy I will not utterly remove from him, nor wrong My truth.

34. என் உடன்படிக்கையை மீறாமலும், என் உதடுகள் விளம்பினதை மாற்றாமலும் இருப்பேன்.

34. Neither will I by any means profane My covenant; and I will not make void the things that proceed out of My lips.

35. ஒருவிசை என் பரிசுத்தத்தின்பேரில் ஆணையிட்டேன், தாவீதுக்கு நான் பொய்சொல்லேன்.

35. Once have I sworn by My holiness, that I will not lie to David.

36. அவன் சந்ததி என்றென்றைக்கும் இருக்கும்; அவன் சிங்காசனம் சூரியனைப்போல எனக்கு முன்பாக நிலைநிற்கும்.

36. His seed shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before Me;

37. and as the moon [that is] established forever, and as the faithful witness in heaven. Pause.

38. ஆனாலும் நீர் எங்களை வெறுத்துத் தள்ளிவிட்டீர்; நீர் அபிஷேகம்பண்ணுவித்தவன்மேல் உக்கிரமானீர்.

38. But You have cast off and set at nought, You have rejected Your anointed.

39. உமது அடியானுடன் நீர் பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கையை ஒழித்துவிட்டு, அவன் கிரீடத்தைத் தரையிலே தள்ளி அவமானப்படுத்தினீர்.

39. You have overthrown the covenant of Your servant; You have profaned his sanctuary, [casting it] to the ground.

40. அவன் மதில்களையெல்லாம் தகர்த்துப்போட்டு, அவன் அரணான ஸ்தலங்களைப் பாழாக்கினீர்.

40. You have broken down all his hedges; You have made his strongholds a terror.

41. வழிநடக்கிற யாவரும் அவனைக் கொள்ளையிடுகிறார்கள்; தன் அயலாருக்கு நிந்தையானான்.

41. All that go by the way have spoiled him; he has become a reproach to his neighbors.

42. அவன் சத்துருக்களின் வலது கையை நீர் உயர்த்தி, அவன் விரோதிகள் யாவரும் சந்தோஷிக்கும்படி செய்தீர்.

42. You have exalted the right hand of his enemies; You have made all his enemies to rejoice.

43. அவன் பட்டயத்தின் கருக்கை மழுக்கிப்போட்டு, அவனை யுத்தத்தில் நிற்காதபடி செய்தீர்.

43. You have turned back the help of his sword, and have not helped him in the battle.

44. அவன் மகிமையை அற்றுப்போகப்பண்ணி, அவன் சிங்காசனத்தைத் தரையிலே தள்ளினீர்.

44. You have deprived him of glory; You have broken down his throne to the ground.

45. அவன் வாலிபநாட்களைக் குறுக்கி, அவனை வெட்கத்தால் மூடினீர். (சேலா)

45. You have shortened the days of his throne; You have poured shame upon him. Pause.

46. எதுவரைக்கும், கர்த்தாவே! நீர் என்றைக்கும் மறைந்திருப்பீரோ? உமது கோபம் அக்கினியைப்போல எரியுமோ?

46. How long, O Lord? Will You turn away, forever? Shall Your anger flame out as fire?

47. என் ஜீவன் எவ்வளவு நிலையற்றது என்பதை நினைத்தருளும்; மனுபுத்திரர் யாவரையும் வீணாகச் சிருஷ்டிக்கவேண்டியதென்ன?

47. Remember what my being is; for have You created all the sons of men in vain?

48. மரணத்தைக் காணாமல் உயிரோடிருப்பவன் யார்? தன் ஆத்துமாவைப் பாதாள வல்லடிக்கு விலக்கிவிடுகிறவன் யார்? (சேலா)

48. What man is there who shall live, and not see death? Shall [anyone] deliver his soul from the hand of Hades? Pause.

49. ஆண்டவரே, நீர் தாவீதுக்கு உம்முடைய உண்மையைக்கொண்டு சத்தியம்பண்ணின உமது பூர்வ கிருபைகள் எங்கே?

49. Where are Your ancient mercies, O Lord, which You swore to David in Your truth?

50. ஆண்டவரே, உம்முடைய சத்துருக்கள் உம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரரையும், நீர் அபிஷேகம் பண்ணினவனின் காலடிகளையும் நிந்திக்கிறபடியினால்,

50. Remember, O Lord, the reproach of Your servants, which I have borne in my bosom, [even the reproach] of many nations;
