7. A God very terrible in the council of the holy ones, And to be awed above all those who are round about him?

8. O Yahweh God of hosts, Who is a mighty one, like you, O Yah? And your faithfulness is round about you.

13. You have a mighty arm; Strong is your hand, and high is your right hand.

14. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne: Loving-kindness and truth go before your face.

15. Blessed is the people who know the joyful sound: They walk, O Yahweh, in the light of your countenance.

16. In your name they rejoice all the day; And in your righteousness they stand.

17. For you are the glory of their strength; And in your favor our horn will be exalted.

18. For our shield belongs to Yahweh; And our king to the Holy One of Israel.

29. His seed also I will make to endure forever, And his throne as the days of heaven.

30. If his sons forsake my law, And don't walk in my ordinances;

31. என் கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளாமல் என் நியமங்களை மீறி நடந்தால்;

31. If they break my statutes, And don't keep my commandments;

32. அவர்கள் மீறுதலை மிலாற்றினாலும், அவர்கள் அக்கிரமத்தை வாதைகளினாலும் தண்டிப்பேன்.

32. Then I will visit their transgression with the rod, And their iniquity with stripes.

33. ஆனாலும் என் கிருபையை அவனை விட்டு விலக்காமலும், என் உண்மையில் பிசகாமலும் இருப்பேன்.

33. But my loving-kindness I will not completely take from him, Nor allow my faithfulness to fail.

34. My covenant I will not break, Nor alter the thing that has gone out of my lips.

35. Once I have sworn by my holiness: I will not lie to David:

38. But you have cast off and rejected, You have been angry with your anointed.

39. உமது அடியானுடன் நீர் பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கையை ஒழித்துவிட்டு, அவன் கிரீடத்தைத் தரையிலே தள்ளி அவமானப்படுத்தினீர்.

39. You have abhorred the covenant of your slave: You have profaned his crown [by casting it] to the ground.

40. அவன் மதில்களையெல்லாம் தகர்த்துப்போட்டு, அவன் அரணான ஸ்தலங்களைப் பாழாக்கினீர்.

40. You have broken down all his hedges; You have brought his strongholds to ruin.

41. வழிநடக்கிற யாவரும் அவனைக் கொள்ளையிடுகிறார்கள்; தன் அயலாருக்கு நிந்தையானான்.

41. All who pass by the way rob him: He has become a reproach to his neighbors.

42. அவன் சத்துருக்களின் வலது கையை நீர் உயர்த்தி, அவன் விரோதிகள் யாவரும் சந்தோஷிக்கும்படி செய்தீர்.

42. You have exalted the right hand of his adversaries; You have made all his enemies to rejoice.

43. Yes, you turn back the edge of his sword, And have not made him to stand in the battle.

44. You have made his brightness to cease, And cast his throne down to the ground.

46. How long, O Yahweh? Will you hide yourself forever? [How long] will your wrath burn like fire?

47. என் ஜீவன் எவ்வளவு நிலையற்றது என்பதை நினைத்தருளும்; மனுபுத்திரர் யாவரையும் வீணாகச் சிருஷ்டிக்கவேண்டியதென்ன?

47. Remember me: How short is my lifetime? For what vanity have you created all the sons of man?

48. மரணத்தைக் காணாமல் உயிரோடிருப்பவன் யார்? தன் ஆத்துமாவைப் பாதாள வல்லடிக்கு விலக்கிவிடுகிறவன் யார்? (சேலா)

48. What [prominent] man is he who will live and not see death, That will deliver his soul from the power of Sheol? Selah.

49. ஆண்டவரே, நீர் தாவீதுக்கு உம்முடைய உண்மையைக்கொண்டு சத்தியம்பண்ணின உமது பூர்வ கிருபைகள் எங்கே?

49. Lord, where are your former loving-kindnesses, Which you swore to David in your faithfulness?

50. ஆண்டவரே, உம்முடைய சத்துருக்கள் உம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரரையும், நீர் அபிஷேகம் பண்ணினவனின் காலடிகளையும் நிந்திக்கிறபடியினால்,

50. Remember, Lord, the reproach of your slaves, That I bear in my bosom from all the numerous peoples,
