1. கர்த்தாவே, என் சத்துருக்கள் என்னை மேற்கொண்டு மகிழவொட்டாமல், நீர் என்னைக் கைதூக்கி எடுத்தபடியினால், நான் உம்மைப் போற்றுவேன்.

1. [A psalme whiche is a song of the dedication of the house of Dauid.] I wyll exalt thee O God, for thou hast exalted me: and hast not made my foes to triumph ouer me.

2. என் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டேன், என்னை நீர் குணமாக்கினீர்.

2. O God my Lord I cryed vnto thee: and thou hast healed me.

3. கர்த்தாவே, நீர் என் ஆத்துமாவைப் பாதாளத்திலிருந்து ஏறப்பண்ணி, நான் குழியில் இறங்காதபடி என்னை உயிரோடே காத்தீர்.

3. Thou God hast raysed vp my soule from the graue: thou hast preserued my life from them that go downe into ye pit.

4. கர்த்தருடைய பரிசுத்தவான்களே, அவரைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணி, அவருடைய பரிசுத்தத்தின் நினைவு கூருதலைக் கொண்டாடுங்கள்.

4. Sing psalmes vnto god ye his saintes: and make your confession vnto the remembraunce of his holynes.

5. ஏனெனில் அவருடைய கோபம் ஒர் இமைப்பொழுதே, அவருடைய தயவோ ஆயுள் காலம் வரை; சாயங்காலத்தில் அழுகை தங்கும், விடியற்காலத்திலே களிப்புண்டாகும்.

5. For a litle short time [passeth] in his anger, a life is [spente] in his good wyll: at euening weeping shall begin the night, but ioy commeth in the morning.

6. நான் ஒருக்காலும் அசைக்கப்படுவதில்லையென்று, என்று, நான் வளமுடன் இருக்கையில் சொன்னேன்.

6. And in my prosperitie I saide, I shall neuer haue a fal:

7. கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய தயவினால் நீர் என் பர்வதத்தைத் திடமாய் நிற்கப்பண்ணியிருந்தீர்; உமது முகத்தை நீர் மறைத்துக்கொண்டபோதோ நான் கலங்கினவனானேன்;

7. (30:6) thou God of thy goodnes hadst made my hyll so strong.

8. நான் குழியில் இறங்குகையில் என் இரத்தத்தால் என்ன லாபமுண்டு? புழுதி உம்மைத் துதிக்குமோ? அது உமது சத்தியத்தை அறிவிக்குமோ?

8. (30:7) [Neuerthelesse, when] thou dydst turne thy face, I was troubled: [then] I cryed vnto thee O God, then made I my humble prayers to thee my Lorde.

9. கர்த்தாவே, நீ எனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து என்மேல் இரக்கமாயிரும்; கர்த்தாவே, நீர் எனக்குச் சகாயராயிரும் என்று சொல்லி;

9. (30:8) [Saying] what profite is there in my blood when I go downe to the pit? shal the dust geue thankes vnto thee? or shall it declare thy trueth?

10. கர்த்தாவே, உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டேன்; கர்த்தரை நோக்கிக் கெஞ்சினேன்.

10. (30:9) Heare me O God, and haue mercy vppon me: O God be thou my helper.

11. என் புலம்பலை ஆனந்தக்களிப்பாக மாறப்பண்ணினீர்; என் மகிமை அமைதியாய் இராமல் உம்மைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணும்படியாக நீர் என் இரட்டைக் களைந்துபோட்டு, மகிழ்ச்சியினால் என்னை இடைகட்டினீர்.

11. (30:10) [And foorthwith] thou hast turned my mourning into dauncing: thou hast put of my sackcloth, and gyrded me with gladnes.

12. என் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, உம்மை என்றென்றைக்கும் துதிப்பேன்.

12. (30:11) Therfore my glory shal sing psalmes vnto thee and not ceasse: O God my Lorde I wyll prayse thee for euer.
