1. ராஜாவாகிய என் தேவனே, உம்மை உயர்த்தி, உம்முடைய நாமத்தை எப்பொழுதும் என்றென்றைக்கும் ஸ்தோத்திரிப்பேன்.

1. Alleluia, of Aggeus and Zacharias.

2. நாடோறும் உம்மை ஸ்தோத்திரித்து, எப்பொழுதும் என்றென்றைக்கும் உம்முடைய நாமத்தைத் துதிப்பேன்.

2. Praise the Lord, O my soul, in my life I will praise the Lord: I will sing to my God as long as I shall be. Put not your trust in princes:

3. கர்த்தர் பெரியவரும் மிகவும் புகழப்படத்தக்கவருமாயிருக்கிறார்; அவருடைய மகத்துவம் ஆராய்ந்து முடியாது.

3. In the children of men, in whom there is no salvation.

4. தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக உம்முடைய கிரியைகளின் புகழ்ச்சியைச் சொல்லி, உம்முடைய வல்லமையுள்ள செய்கைகளை அறிவிப்பார்கள்.

4. His spirit shall go forth, and he shall return into his earth: in that day all their thoughts shall perish.

5. உம்முடைய சிறந்த மகிமைப் பிரதாபத்தையும், உம்முடைய அதிசயமான கிரியைகளையுங்குறித்துப் பேசுவேன்.

5. Blessed is he who hath the God of Jacob for his helper, whose hope is in the Lord his God:

6. ஜனங்கள் உம்முடைய பயங்கரமான கிரியைகளின் வல்லமையைச் சொல்லுவார்கள்; உம்முடைய மகத்துவத்தை நான் விவரிப்பேன்.

6. Who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all things that are in them.

7. அவர்கள் உமது மிகுந்த தயவை நினைத்து வெளிப்படுத்தி, உமது நீதியைக் கெம்பீரித்துப் பாடுவார்கள்.

7. Who keepeth truth for ever: who executeth judgment for them that suffer wrong: who giveth food to the hungry. The Lord looseth them that are fettered:

8. கர்த்தர் இரக்கமும் மன உருக்கமும், நீடிய சாந்தமும் மிகுந்த கிருபையும் உள்ளவர்.

8. The Lord enlighteneth the blind. The Lord lifteth up them that are cast down: the Lord loveth the just.

9. கர்த்தர் எல்லார்மேலும் தயவுள்ளவர்; அவர் இரக்கங்கள் அவருடைய எல்லாக் கிரியைகளின்மேலுமுள்ளது.

9. The Lord keepeth the strangers, he will support the fatherless and the widow: and the ways of sinners he will destroy.

10. கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய கிரியைகளெல்லாம் உம்மைத் துதிக்கும்; உம்முடைய பரிசுத்தவான்கள் உம்மை ஸ்தோத்திரிப்பார்கள்.

10. The Lord shall reign for ever: thy God, O Sion, unto generation and generation.
