1. கர்த்தாவே, பொல்லாத மனுஷனுக்கு என்னைத் தப்புவியும்; கொடுமையுள்ளவனுக்கு என்னை விலக்கி இரட்சியும்.

7. LORD, the Lord, the strength of my yeshu`ah, You have covered my head in the day of battle.

8. கர்த்தாவே, துன்மார்க்கனுடைய ஆசைகள் சித்தியாதபடிசெய்யும்; அவன் தன்னை உயர்த்தாதபடி அவனுடைய யோசனையை நடந்தேறவொட்டாதேயும். (சேலா)

8. LORD, don't grant the desires of the wicked. Don't let their evil plans succeed, or they will become proud. Selah.

9. என்னை வளைந்துகொள்ளுகிறவர்களுடைய உதடுகளின் தீவினைகள் அவர்கள் தலைகளையே மூடுவதாக.

9. As for the head of those who surround me, Let the mischief of their own lips cover them.

10. நெருப்புத்தழல் அவர்கள்மேல் விழுவதாக; அக்கினியிலும், அவர்கள் எழுந்திருக்கக்கூடாத படுகுழிகளிலும் தள்ளப்படுவார்களாக.

10. Let burning coals fall on them. Let them be thrown into the fire, Into miry pits, from where they never rise.

11. பொல்லாத நாவுள்ளவன் பூமியிலே நிலைப்பதில்லை; கொடுமையான மனுஷனை பறக்கடிக்கப் பொல்லாப்பு அவனை வேட்டையாடும்.

11. An evil speaker won't be established in the eretz. Evil will hunt the violent man to overthrow him.

12. சிறுமையானவனின் வழக்கையும், எளியவர்களின் நியாயத்தையும் கர்த்தர் விசாரிப்பாரென்று அறிவேன்.

12. I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, And justice for the needy.

13. நீதிமான்கள் உமது நாமத்தைத் துதிப்பார்கள்; செம்மையானவர்கள் உமது சமுகத்தில் வாசம் பண்ணுவார்கள்.

13. Surely the righteous will give thanks to your name. The upright will dwell in your presence.
