1. இதோ, இவைகளெல்லாவற்றையும் என் கண் கண்டு, என் காது கேட்டு அறிந்திருக்கிறது.

1. Lo! myn iye siy alle thingis, and myn eere herde; and Y vndurstood alle thingis.

2. நீங்கள் அறிந்திருக்கிறதை நானும் அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்; நான் உங்களுக்குத் தாழ்ந்தவன் அல்ல.

2. Euene with youre kunnyng also Y kan, and Y am not lowere than ye.

3. சர்வவல்லவரோடே நான் பேசினால் நல்லது; தேவனோடே நியாயத்திற்காக வழக்காட விரும்புவேன்.

3. But netheles Y schal speke to Almyyti God, and Y coueite to dispute with God;

4. நீங்கள் பொய்யைப் பிணைக்கிறவர்கள்; நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் காரியத்துக்குதவாத வைத்தியர்கள்.

4. and firste Y schewe you makeris of leesyng, and louyeris of weyward techyngis.

5. நீங்கள் பேசாமலிருந்தால் நலமாகும்; அது உங்களுக்கு ஞானமாயிருக்கும்.

5. And `Y wolde that ye weren stille, that ye weren gessid to be wise men.

6. நீங்கள் என் நியாயத்தைக் கேட்டு, என் உதடுகள் சொல்லும் விசேஷங்களைக் கவனியுங்கள்.

6. Therfor here ye my chastisyngis; and perseyue ye the doom of my lippis.

7. நீங்கள் தேவனுக்காக நியாயக்கேடாய்ப் பேசி, அவருக்காக வஞ்சகமாய் வசனிக்கவேண்டுமோ?

7. Whether God hath nede to youre leesyng, that ye speke gilis for hym?

8. அவருக்கு முகதாட்சிணியம்பண்ணுவீர்களோ? தேவனுக்காக வழக்காடுவீர்களோ?

8. Whether ye taken his face, and enforsen to deme for God?

9. அவர் உங்களை ஆராய்ந்துபார்த்தால் அது உங்களுக்கு நலமாயிருக்குமோ? மனுஷனைப் பரியாசம் பண்ணுகிறதுபோல அவரைப் பரியாசம்பண்ணுவீர்களோ?

9. Ethir it schal plese hym, fro whom no thing mai be hid? Whether he as a man schal be disseyued with youre falsnessis?

10. நீங்கள் அந்தரங்கமாய் முகதாட்சிணியம்பண்ணினால், அவர் உங்களை எவ்விதத்திலும் கண்டிப்பார்.

10. He schal repreue you; for ye taken his face in hiddlis.

11. அவருடைய மகத்துவம் உங்களைத் திடுக்கிடப்பண்ணாதோ? அவருடைய பயங்கரம் உங்களைப் பிடிக்கமாட்டாதோ?

11. Anoon as he schal stire hym, he schal disturble you; and his drede schal falle on you.

12. உங்கள் பேரை நினைக்கப்பண்ணும் அடையாளங்கள் சாம்பலுக்குச் சரி; உங்கள் மேட்டிமைகள் சேற்றுக்குவியல்களுக்குச் சமானம்.

12. Youre mynde schal be comparisound to aische; and youre nollis schulen be dryuun in to clei.

13. நீங்கள் மவுனமாயிருங்கள், நான் பேசுகிறேன், எனக்கு வருகிறது வரட்டும்.

13. Be ye stille a litil, that Y speke, what euer thing the mynde hath schewid to me.

14. நான் என் பற்களினால் என் சதையைப் பிடுங்கி, என் பிராணனை என் கையிலே வைப்பானேன்?

14. Whi to-rende Y my fleischis with my teeth, and bere my lijf in myn hondis?

15. அவர் என்னைக் கொன்றுபோட்டாலும், அவர்மேல் நம்பிக்கையாயிருப்பேன்; ஆனாலும் என் வழிகளை அவருக்கு முன்பாக ரூபகாரம்பண்ணுவேன்.

15. Yhe, thouy God sleeth me, Y schal hope in hym; netheles Y schal preue my weies in his siyt.

16. அவரே என் இரட்சிப்பு; மாயக்காரனோ அவர் சந்நிதியில் சேரான்.

16. And he schal be my sauyour; for whi ech ypocrite schal not come in his siyt.

17. என் வசனத்தையும், நான் சொல்லிக் காண்பிக்கிறதையும், உங்கள் செவிகளால் கவனமாய்க் கேளுங்கள்.

17. Here ye my word, and perseyue ye with eeris derke and harde figuratif spechis.

18. இதோ, என் நியாயங்களை அணியணியாக வைத்தேன்; என் நீதி விளங்கும் என்று அறிவேன்.

18. Yf Y schal be demed, Y woot that Y schal be foundun iust.

19. என்னோடே வழக்காடவேண்டுமென்று இருக்கிறவன் யார்? நான் மவுனமாயிருந்தால் ஜீவித்துப்போவேனே.

19. Who is he that is demed with me? Come he; whi am Y stille, and am wastid?

20. இரண்டு காரியங்களை மாத்திரம் எனக்குச் செய்யாதிருப்பீராக; அப்பொழுது உமது முகத்துக்கு முன்பாக ஒளித்துக்கொள்ளாதிருப்பேன்.

20. Do thou not to me twei thingis oneli; and thanne Y schal not be hid fro thi face.

21. உம்முடைய கையை என்னைவிட்டுத் தூரப்படுத்தும்; உம்முடைய பயங்கரம் என்னைக் கலங்கப்பண்ணாதிருப்பதாக.

21. Make thin hond fer fro me; and thi drede make not me aferd.

22. நீர் கூப்பிடும், நான் உத்தரவு கொடுப்பேன்; அல்லது நான் பேசுவேன்; நீர் எனக்கு மறுமொழி சொல்லும்.

22. Clepe thou me, and Y schal answere thee; ethir certis Y schal speke, and thou schalt answere me.

23. என் அக்கிரமங்களும் பாவங்களும் எத்தனை? என் மீறுதலையும் என்பாவத்தையும் எனக்கு உணர்த்தும்.

23. Hou grete synnes and wickidnessis haue Y? Schewe thou to me my felonyes, and trespassis.

24. நீர் உமது முகத்தை மறைத்து, என்னை உமக்குப் பகைஞனாக எண்ணுவானேன்?

24. Whi hidist thou thi face, and demest me thin enemy?

25. காற்றடித்த சருகை நொறுக்குவீரோ? காய்ந்துபோன துரும்பைப் பின்தொடருவீரோ?

25. Thou schewist thi myyt ayens a leef, which is rauyschid with the wynd; and thou pursuest drye stobil.

26. மகா கசப்பான தீர்ப்புகளை என்பேரில் எழுதுகிறீர்; என் சிறுவயதின் அக்கிரமங்களை எனக்குப் பலிக்கப்பண்ணுகிறீர்.

26. For thou writist bitternessis ayens me; and wolt waste me with the synnes of my yong wexynge age.

27. என் கால்களைத் தொழுவடித்துப்போட்டு, என் வழிகளையெல்லாம் காவல்பண்ணுகிறீர்; என் காலடிகளில் அடையாளத்தைப் போடுகிறீர்.

27. Thou hast set my foot in a stok, and thou hast kept alle my pathis; and thou hast biholde the steppis of my feet.

28. இப்படிப்பட்டவன் அழுகிப்போகிற வஸ்துபோலவும், பொட்டரித்த வஸ்திரம் போலவும் அழிந்து போவான்.

28. And Y schal be wastid as rot, and as a cloth, which is etun of a mouyte.
