1. பூர்வகாலங்களில் பங்குபங்காகவும் வகைவகையாகவும், தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் மூலமாய்ப் பிதாக்களுக்குத் திருவுளம்பற்றின தேவன்,

1. In days gone by, God spoke in many and varied ways to the Fathers through the prophets.

2. இந்தக் கடைசி நாட்களில் குமாரன் மூலமாய் நமக்குத் திருவுளம்பற்றினார்; இவரைச் சர்வத்துக்கும் சுதந்தரவாளியாக நியமித்தார், இவரைக்கொண்டு உலகங்களையும் உண்டாக்கினார்.

2. But now, in the [acharit-hayamim], he has spoken to us through his Son, to whom he has given ownership of everything and through whom he created the universe.

5. For to which of the angels did God ever say, 'You are my Son; today I have become your Father'? Also, God never said of any angel, 'I will be his Father, and he will be my Son.'

11. They will vanish, but you will remain; like clothing, they will all grow old;

12. and you will fold them up like a coat. Yes, they will be changed like clothing, but you remain the same, your years will never end.'
