12. The LORD alone did lead him, And there was no strange god with him.

13. பூமியிலுள்ள உயர்ந்த ஸ்தானங்களின்மேல் அவனை ஏறிவரப்பண்ணினார்; வயலில் விளையும் பலனை அவனுக்குப் புசிக்கக் கொடுத்தார்; கன்மலையிலுள்ள தேனையும் கற்பாறையிலிருந்து வடியும் எண்ணெயையும் அவன் உண்ணும்படி செய்தார்.

13. He made him ride on the high places of the earth, And he did eat the increase of the field; And he made him to suck honey out of the rock, And oil out of the flinty rock;

14. Butter of kine, and milk of sheep, With fat of lambs, And rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, With the fat of kidneys of wheat; And of the blood of the grape thou drankest wine.

15. யெஷூரன் கொழுத்துப்போய் உதைத்தான்; கொழுத்து, ஸ்தூலித்து, நிணம் துன்னினபோது, தன்னை உண்டாக்கின தேவனை விட்டு, தன் ரட்சிப்பின் கன்மலையை அசட்டைபண்ணினான்.

15. But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: Thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art become sleek: Then he forsook God which made him, And lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.

16. They moved him to jealousy with strange gods, With abominations provoked they him to anger.

22. For a fire is kindled in mine anger, And burneth unto the lowest pit, And devoureth the earth with her increase, And setteth on fire the foundations of the mountains.

24. They shall be wasted with hunger, and devoured with burning heat And bitter destruction; And the teeth of beasts will I send upon them, With the poison of crawling things of the dust.

25. வெளியிலே பட்டயமும், உள்ளே பயங்கரமும், வாலிபனையும், கன்னியையும், குழந்தையையும், நரைத்த கிழவனையும் அழிக்கும்.

25. Without shall the sword bereave, And in the chambers terror; It shall destroy both young man and virgin, The suckling with the man of gray hairs.

26. எங்கள் கை உயர்ந்ததென்றும், கர்த்தர் இதையெல்லாம் செய்யவில்லை என்றும் அவர்களுடைய பகைஞர் தப்பெண்ணங்கொண்டு சொல்லுவார்கள் என்று,

26. I said, I would scatter them afar, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men:

27. நான் சத்துருவின் குரோதத்திற்கு அஞ்சாதிருந்தேனானால், நான் அவர்களை மூலைக்குமூலை சிதற அடித்து, மனிதருக்குள் அவர்களுடைய பேர் அற்றுப்போகப்பண்ணுவேன் என்று சொல்லியிருப்பேன்.

27. Were it not that I feared the provocation of the enemy, Lest their adversaries should misdeem, Lest they should say, Our hand is exalted, And the LORD hath not done all this.

28. அவர்கள் யோசனைகெட்ட ஜாதி, அவர்களுக்கு உணர்வு இல்லை.

28. For they are a nation void of counsel, And there is no understanding in them.

29. அவர்கள் ஞானமடைந்து, இதை உணர்ந்து, தங்கள் முடிவைச் சிந்தித்துக் கொண்டால் நலமாயிருக்கும் என்றார்.

30. How should one chase a thousand, And two put ten thousand to flight, Except their Rock had sold them, And the LORD had delivered them up?

31. தங்கள் கன்மலை நம்முடைய கன்மலையைப்போல் அல்ல என்று நம்முடைய சத்துருக்களே தீர்மானிக்கிறார்கள்.

31. For their rock is not as our Rock, Even our enemies themselves being judges.

32. அவர்களுடைய திராட்சச்செடி, சோதோமிலும் கொமோரா நிலங்களிலும் பயிரான திராட்சச்செடியிலும் தாழ்ந்த ஜாதியாயிருக்கிறது, அவைகளின் பழங்கள் பித்தும் அவைகளின் குலைகள் கசப்புமாய் இருக்கிறது.

32. For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, And of the fields of Gomorrah: Their grapes are grapes of gall, Their clusters are bitter:

33. அவர்களுடைய திராட்சரசம் வலுசர்ப்பங்களின் விஷமும் விரியன் பாம்புகளின் கொடிய விஷமுமானது.

33. Their wine is the poison of dragons, And the cruel venom of asps.

38. Which did eat the fat of their sacrifices, And drank the wine of their drink offering? Let them rise up and help you, Let them be your protection.

39. நான் நானே அவர், என்னோடே வேறே தேவன் இல்லை என்பதை இப்பொழுது பாருங்கள்; நான் கொல்லுகிறேன், நான் உயிர்ப்பிக்கிறேன்; நான் காயப்படுத்துகிறேன், நான் சொஸ்தப்படுத்துகிறேன்; என் கைக்குத் தப்புவிப்பார் இல்லை.

39. See now that I, even I, am he, And there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I have wounded, and I heal: And there is none that can deliver out of my hand.

40. நான் என் கரத்தை வானத்திற்கு நேராக உயர்த்தி, நான் என்றென்றைக்கும் ஜீவித்திருக்கிறவர் என்கிறேன்.

45. And Moses made an end of speaking all these words to all Israel:

47. For it is no vain thing for you; because it is your life, and through this thing ye shall prolong your days upon the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.

49. நீ எரிகோவுக்கு எதிரான மோவாப் தேசத்திலுள்ள இந்த அபாரீம் என்னும் மலைகளிலிருக்கிற நேபோ பர்வதத்தில் ஏறி, நான் இஸ்ரவேல் சந்ததியாருக்குக் காணியாட்சியாகக் கொடுக்கும் கானான் தேசத்தைப் பார்;

50. and die in the mount whither thou goest up, and be gathered unto thy people; as Aaron thy brother died in mount Hor, and was gathered unto his people:

51. because ye trespassed against me in the midst of the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah of Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.

52. நான் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்குக் கொடுக்கப்போகிற எதிரேயிருக்கிற தேசத்தை நீ பார்ப்பாய்; ஆனாலும் அதற்குள் நீ பிரவேசிப்பதில்லை என்றார்.

52. For thou shalt see the land before thee; but thou shalt not go thither into the land which I give the children of Israel.
