1. Moses commanded the leaders of Israel and charged the people: Keep every commandment that I command you today.

2. On the day you cross the Jordan into the land that GOD, your God, is giving you, erect large stones and coat them with plaster.

3. உன் பிதாக்களின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உனக்குச் சொன்னபடி உனக்குக் கொடுக்கும் பாலும் தேனும் ஓடுகிற தேசத்திற்குள் பிரவேசிக்கும்படி நீ கடந்துபோனபின்பு, இந்த நியாயப்பிரமாண வார்த்தைகள் யாவையும் அவைகளில் எழுதக்கடவாய்.

3. As soon as you cross over the river, write on the stones all the words of this Revelation so that you'll enter the land that GOD, your God, is giving you, that land flowing with milk and honey that GOD, the God-of-Your-Fathers, promised you.

4. So when you've crossed the Jordan, erect these stones on Mount Ebal. Then coat them with plaster.

5. அங்கே இருப்பாயுதம்படாத கற்களாலே உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு ஒரு பலிபீடத்தைக் கட்டக்கடவாய்.

5. Build an Altar of stones for GOD, your God, there on the mountain. Don't use an iron tool on the stones;

6. நீ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் பலிபீடத்தை முழுக்கற்களாலே கட்டி, அதின்மேல் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குச் சர்வாங்கதகனபலிகளையும்,

6. build the Altar to GOD, your God, with uncut stones and offer your Whole-Burnt-Offerings on it to GOD, your God.

7. சமாதானபலிகளையும் இட்டு, உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் புசித்துச் சந்தோஷமாயிருந்து,

7. When you sacrifice your Peace-Offerings you will also eat them there, rejoicing in the Presence of GOD, your God.

8. அந்தக் கல்லுகளில் இந்த நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின் வார்த்தைகளையெல்லாம் துலக்கமாய் எழுதக்கடவாய் என்று கட்டளையிட்டான்.

8. Write all the words of this Revelation on the stones. Incise them sharply.

9. பின்னும் மோசே, லேவியராகிய ஆசாரியர்களும் கூட இருக்கையில், இஸ்ரவேலர் எல்லாரையும் நோக்கி: இஸ்ரவேலே, கவனித்துக் கேள்; இந்நாளிலே உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு ஜனமானாய்.

9. Moses and the Levitical priests addressed all Israel: Quiet. Listen obediently, Israel. This very day you have become the people of GOD, your God.

10. ஆகையால் நீ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய சத்தத்திற்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்து, இன்று நான் உனக்கு விதிக்கிற அவருடைய கற்பனைகளின்படியும் அவருடைய கட்டளைகளின்படியும் செய்வாயாக என்று சொன்னான்.

10. Listen to the Voice of GOD, your God. Keep his commandments and regulations that I'm commanding you today.

12. நீங்கள் யோர்தானைக் கடந்தபின்பு, ஜனங்கள் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்படும்படி கெரிசீம் மலையில் சிமியோன், லேவி, யூதா, இசக்கார், யோசேப்பு, பென்யமீன் என்னும் கோத்திரங்கள் நிற்கவேண்டும்.

12. After you've crossed the Jordan, these tribes will stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin.

13. சாபங்கூறப்படும்பொருட்டு, ஏபால் மலையில் ரூபன், காத், ஆசேர், செபுலோன், தாண், நப்தலி என்னும் கோத்திரங்கள் நிற்கவேண்டும்.

13. And these will stand on Mount Ebal for the curse: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.

14. அப்பொழுது லேவியர் உரத்த சத்தமிட்டு இஸ்ரவேல் மனிதர் எல்லாரையும் பார்த்து:

14. The Levites, acting as spokesmen and speaking loudly, will address Israel:

15. கர்த்தருக்கு அருவருப்பான காரியமாகிய தொழிலாளிகளுடைய கைவேலையால் செய்யப்பட்டதும் வார்ப்பிக்கப்பட்டதுமான யாதொரு விக்கிரகத்தை உண்டுபண்ணி ஒளிப்பிடத்திலே வைக்கிறவன் சபிக்கப்பட்டவன் என்பார்களாக; அதற்கு ஜனங்களெல்லாரும் பிரதியுத்தரமாக ஆமென் என்று சொல்லக்கடவர்கள்.

15. GOD's curse on anyone who carves or casts a god-image--an abomination to GOD made by a craftsman--and sets it up in secret. All respond: Yes. Absolutely.

16. தன் தகப்பனையும் தன் தாயையும் தூஷிக்கிறவன் சபிக்கப்பட்டவன் என்பார்களாக; ஜனங்களெல்லாரும் ஆமென் என்று சொல்லக்கடவர்கள்.

16. GOD's curse on anyone who demeans a parent. All respond: Yes. Absolutely.

17. பிறனுடைய எல்லைக்குறியை ஒற்றிப்போடுகிறவன் சபிக்கப்பட்டவன் என்பார்களாக; ஜனங்களெல்லாரும் ஆமென் என்று சொல்லக்கடவர்கள்.

17. GOD's curse on anyone who moves his neighbor's boundary marker. All respond: Yes. Absolutely.

18. குருடனை வழிதப்பச் செய்கிறவன் சபிக்கப்பட்டவன் என்பார்களாக; ஜனங்களெல்லாரும் ஆமென் என்று சொல்லக்கடவர்கள்.

18. GOD's curse on anyone who misdirects a blind man on the road. All respond: Yes. Absolutely.

19. பரதேசி திக்கற்றவன் விதவை ஆகிய இவர்களுடைய நியாயத்தைப் புரட்டுகிறவன் சபிக்கப்பட்டவன் என்பார்களாக; ஜனங்களெல்லாரும் ஆமென் என்று சொல்லக்கடவர்கள்.

19. GOD's curse on anyone who interferes with justice due the foreigner, orphan, or widow. All respond: Yes. Absolutely.

20. தன் தகப்பன் மனைவியோடே சயனிக்கிறவன், தன் தகப்பனுடைய மானத்தைத் திறந்தபடியினாலே, சபிக்கப்பட்டவன் என்பார்களாக; ஜனங்களெல்லாரும் ஆமென் என்று சொல்லக்கடவர்கள்.

20. GOD's curse on anyone who has sex with his father's wife; he has violated the woman who belongs to his father. All respond: Yes. Absolutely.

22. GOD's curse on anyone who has sex with his sister, the daughter of his father or mother. All respond: Yes. Absolutely.

23. தன் மாமியோடே சயனிக்கிறவன் சபிக்கப்பட்டவன் என்பார்களாக; ஜனங்களெல்லாரும் ஆமென் என்று சொல்லக்கடவர்கள்.

23. GOD's curse on anyone who has sex with his mother-in-law. All respond: Yes. Absolutely.

24. ஒளிப்பிடத்திலே பிறனைக் கொலைசெய்கிறவன் சபிக்கப்பட்டவன் என்பார்களாக; ஜனங்களெல்லாரும் ஆமென் என்று சொல்லக்கடவர்கள்.

24. GOD's curse on anyone who kills his neighbor in secret. All respond: Yes. Absolutely.

25. குற்றமில்லாதவனைக் கொலைசெய்யும்படி பரிதானம் வாங்குகிறவன் சபிக்கப்பட்டவன் என்பார்களாக; ஜனங்களெல்லாரும் ஆமென் என்று சொல்லக்கடவர்கள்.

25. GOD's curse on anyone who takes a bribe to kill an innocent person. All respond: Yes. Absolutely.

26. இந்த நியாயப்பிரமாண வார்த்தைகளையெல்லாம் கைக்கொண்டு நடவாதவன் சபிக்கப்பட்டவன் என்பார்களாக; ஜனங்களெல்லாரும் ஆமென் என்று சொல்லக்கடவர்கள்.
