1. கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

1. The LORD spoke to Moses, saying:

2. நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடே சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: புருஷனாகிலும் ஸ்திரீயாகிலும் கர்த்தருக்கென்று விரதம் பண்ணிக்கொண்டவர்களாயிருக்கும்படி நசரேய விரதமாகிய ஒரு விசேஷித்த பொருத்தனையைப்பண்ணினால்,

2. Speak to the Israelites and say to them: When either men or women make a special vow, the vow of a nazirite, to separate themselves to the LORD,

3. அப்படிப்பட்டவன் திராட்சரசத்தையும் மதுபானத்தையும் விலக்கக்கடவன்; அவன் திராட்சரசத்தின் காடியையும் மற்ற மதுபானத்தின் காடியையும், திராட்சரசத்தினால் செய்த எவ்விதமான பானத்தையும் குடியாமலும், திராட்சப்பழங்களையாவது திராட்சவற்றல்களையாவது புசியாமலும்,

3. they shall separate themselves from wine and strong drink; they shall drink no wine vinegar or other vinegar, and shall not drink any grape juice or eat grapes, fresh or dried.

4. தான் நசரேயனாயிருக்கும் நாளெல்லாம் திராட்சச்செடி விதைமுதல் தோல்வரையிலுள்ளவைகளினால் செய்யப்பட்ட யாதொன்றையும் புசியாமலும் இருக்கக்கடவன்.

4. All their days as nazirites they shall eat nothing that is produced by the grapevine, not even the seeds or the skins.

5. All the days of their nazirite vow no razor shall come upon the head; until the time is completed for which they separate themselves to the LORD, they shall be holy; they shall let the locks of the head grow long.

6. All the days that they separate themselves to the LORD they shall not go near a corpse.

7. Even if their father or mother, brother or sister, should die, they may not defile themselves; because their consecration to God is upon the head.

8. அவன் நசரேயனாயிருக்கும் நாளெல்லாம் கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தமாயிருப்பான்.

8. All their days as nazirites they are holy to the LORD.

9. அவனண்டையிலே ஒருவன் சடுதியில் மரணமடைந்ததினால், நசரேய விரதமுள்ள அவனுடைய தலை தீட்டுப்பட்டதேயாகில், அவன் தன் சுத்திகரிப்பின் நாளாகிய ஏழாம் நாளில் தன் தலைமயிரைச் சிரைத்துக்கொண்டு,

9. If someone dies very suddenly nearby, defiling the consecrated head, then they shall shave the head on the day of their cleansing; on the seventh day they shall shave it.

10. எட்டாம் நாளில் இரண்டு காட்டுப்புறாக்களையாவது இரண்டு புறாக்குஞ்சுகளையாவது ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரவாசலில் ஆசாரியனிடத்தில் கொண்டுவரக்கடவன்.

10. On the eighth day they shall bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons to the priest at the entrance of the tent of meeting,

11. அப்பொழுது ஆசாரியன் ஒன்றைப்பாவநிவாரணபலியாகவும், மற்றொன்றைச் சர்வாங்க தகனபலியாகவும் செலுத்தி, பிணத்தினால் அவனுக்கு உண்டான தீட்டை நிவிர்த்திசெய்து, அவன் தலையை அந்நாளில் பரிசுத்தப்படுத்துவானாக.

11. and the priest shall offer one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering, and make atonement for them, because they incurred guilt by reason of the corpse. They shall sanctify the head that same day,

12. அவன் திரும்பவும் தன் விரதநாட்களைக் கர்த்தருக்கென்று காத்து, ஒரு வருஷத்து ஆட்டுக்குட்டியைக் குற்றநிவாரணபலியாகக் கொண்டுவரக்கடவன்; அவனுடைய நசரேய விரதம் தீட்டுப்பட்டதினால் சென்ற நாட்கள் விருதாவாகும்.

12. and separate themselves to the LORD for their days as nazirites, and bring a male lamb a year old as a guilt offering. The former time shall be void, because the consecrated head was defiled.

13. This is the law for the nazirites when the time of their consecration has been completed: they shall be brought to the entrance of the tent of meeting,

14. and they shall offer their gift to the LORD, one male lamb a year old without blemish as a burnt offering, one ewe lamb a year old without blemish as a sin offering, one ram without blemish as an offering of well-being,

15. ஒரு கூடையில் எண்ணெயிலே பிசைந்த புளிப்பில்லாத மெல்லிய மாவினால் செய்த அதிரசங்களையும், எண்ணெய் தடவப்பட்ட புளிப்பில்லாத அடைகளையும், அவைகளுக்கு அடுத்த போஜனபலியையும், பானபலிகளையும் கர்த்தருக்குத் தன் காணிக்கையாகச் செலுத்தக்கடவன்.

15. and a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of choice flour mixed with oil and unleavened wafers spread with oil, with their grain offering and their drink offerings.

16. அவைகளை ஆசாரியன் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் கொண்டுவந்து, அவனுடைய பாவநிவாரணபலியையும் அவனுடைய சர்வாங்கதகனபலியையும் செலுத்தி,

16. The priest shall present them before the LORD and offer their sin offering and burnt offering,

17. ஆட்டுக்கடாவைக் கூடையிலிருக்கும் புளிப்பில்லாத அப்பங்களோடுங்கூடக் கர்த்தருக்குச் சமாதான பலியாகச் செலுத்தி, அவனுடைய போஜனபலியையும் பானபலியையும் படைப்பானாக.

17. and shall offer the ram as a sacrifice of well-being to the LORD, with the basket of unleavened bread; the priest also shall make the accompanying grain offering and drink offering.

18. அப்பொழுது நசரேயன் ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரவாசலிலே, பொருத்தனை செய்யப்பட்ட தன் தலையைச் சிரைத்து, பொருத்தனை செய்யப்பட்ட தன் தலைமயிரை எடுத்து, சமாதானபலியின்கீழ் எரிகிற அக்கினியில் போடக்கடவன்.

18. Then the nazirites shall shave the consecrated head at the entrance of the tent of meeting, and shall take the hair from the consecrated head and put it on the fire under the sacrifice of well-being.

19. நசரேயன் பொருத்தனை செய்யப்பட்ட தன் தலைமயிரைச் சிரைத்துக்கொண்டபின்பு, ஆசாரியன் ஆட்டுக்கடாவினுடைய வேவிக்கப்பட்ட ஒரு முன்னந்தொடையையும், கூடையில் இருக்கிறவைகளிலே புளிப்பில்லாத ஒரு அதிரசத்தையும் புளிப்பில்லாத ஒரு அடையையும் எடுத்து, அவனுடைய உள்ளங்கைகளில் வைத்து,

19. The priest shall take the shoulder of the ram, when it is boiled, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and shall put them in the palms of the nazirites, after they have shaved the consecrated head.

20. அவைகளைக் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் அசைவாட்டக்கடவன்; அது அசைவாட்டப்பட்ட மார்க்கண்டத்தோடும், ஏறெடுத்துப் படைக்கப்பட்ட முன்னந்தொடையோடும், ஆசாரியனைச் சேரும்; அது பரிசுத்தமானது. பின்பு நசரேயன் திராட்சரசம் குடிக்கலாம்.

20. Then the priest shall elevate them as an elevation offering before the LORD; they are a holy portion for the priest, together with the breast that is elevated and the thigh that is offered. After that the nazirites may drink wine.

21. பொருத்தனைபண்ணின நசரேயனுக்கும், அவன் தன் கைக்கு உதவுகிறதையல்லாமல், தன் நசரேய விரதத்தினிமித்தம் கர்த்தருக்குச் செலுத்தும் காணிக்கைக்கும் அடுத்த பிரமாணம் இதுவே. அவன் செய்த பொருத்தனையின்படியே தன் பொருத்தனையின் பிரமாணத்துக்கேற்க செய்து தீரவேண்டும் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

21. This is the law for the nazirites who take a vow. Their offering to the LORD must be in accordance with the nazirite vow, apart from what else they can afford. In accordance with whatever vow they take, so they shall do, following the law for their consecration.

22. பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

22. The LORD spoke to Moses, saying:

23. நீ ஆரோனோடும் அவன் குமாரரோடும் சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: நீங்கள் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரை ஆசீர்வதிக்கும்போது, அவர்களைப் பார்த்துச் சொல்லவேண்டியதாவது:

23. Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, Thus you shall bless the Israelites: You shall say to them,

24. கர்த்தர் உன்னை ஆசீர்வதித்து, உன்னைக் காக்கக்கடவர்.

24. The LORD bless you and keep you;

25. கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய முகத்தை உன்மேல் பிரகாசிக்கப்பண்ணி, உன்மேல் கிருபையாயிருக்கக்கடவர்.
ரோமர் 1:7

25. the LORD make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you;

26. கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய முகத்தை உன்மேல் பிரசன்னமாக்கி, உனக்குச் சமாதானம் கட்டளையிடக்கடவர் என்பதே.

26. the LORD lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.

27. இவ்விதமாய் அவர்கள் என் நாமத்தை இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர்மேல் கூறக்கடவர்கள்; அப்பொழுது நான் அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதிப்பேன் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

27. So they shall put my name on the Israelites, and I will bless them.
