1. AND THE Lord said to Moses,

2. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் எனக்குக் காணிக்கையைக் கொண்டுவரும்படி அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லு; மனப்பூர்வமாய் உற்சாகத்துடன் கொடுப்பவன் எவனோ அவனிடத்தில் எனக்குக் காணிக்கையை வாங்குவீர்களாக.

2. Speak to the Israelites, that they take for Me an offering. From every man who gives it willingly and ungrudgingly with his heart you shall take My offering.

3. நீங்கள் அவர்களிடத்தில் வாங்க வேண்டிய காணிக்கையாவன, பொன்னும், வெள்ளியும், வெண்கலமும்,

3. This is the offering you shall receive from them: gold, silver, and bronze,

4. இளநீலநூலும், இரத்தாம்பர நூலும், சிவப்பு நூலும், மெல்லிய பஞ்சு நூலும், வெள்ளாட்டு மயிரும்,

4. Blue, purple, and scarlet [stuff] and fine twined linen and goats' hair,

5. சிவப்புத்தீர்ந்த ஆட்டுக்கடாத்தோலும், தகசுத்தோலும், சீத்திம் மரமும்,

5. Rams' skins tanned red, goatskins, dolphin or porpoise skins, acacia wood,

6. விளக்கெண்ணெயும், அபிஷேகதைலத்துக்குப் பரிமளவர்க்கங்களும், தூபத்துக்குச் சுகந்தவர்க்கங்களும்,

6. Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil and for sweet incense,

7. ஏபோத்திலும் மார்ப்பதக்கத்திலும் பதிக்கும் கோமேதகக் கற்களும் இரத்தினங்களுமே.

7. Onyx stones, and stones for setting in the ephod and in the breastplate.

8. அவர்கள் நடுவிலே நான் வாசம்பண்ண, எனக்கு ஒரு பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தை உண்டாக்குவார்களாக.

8. Let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them. [Heb. 8:1, 2; 10:1.]

9. நான் உனக்குக் காண்பிக்கும் வாசஸ்தலத்தின் மாதிரியின்படியும், அதினுடைய எல்லாத் தட்டுமுட்டுகளின் மாதிரியின்படியும் அதைச் செய்வீர்களாக.

9. And you shall make it according to all that I show you, the pattern of the tabernacle or dwelling and the pattern of all the furniture of it.

10. சீத்திம் மரத்தினால் ஒரு பெட்டியைப் பண்ணக்கடவர்கள்; அதின் நீளம் இரண்டரை முழமும், அதின் அகலம் ஒன்றரை முழமும், அதின் உயரம் ஒன்றரை முழமுமாயிருப்பதாக.

10. They shall make an ark of acacia wood: two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high.

11. அதை எங்கும் பசும்பொன் தகட்டால் மூடுவாயாக; நீ அதின் உட்புறத்தையும் வெளிப்புறத்தையும் அதினால் மூடி, அதின்மேல் சுற்றிலும் பொன்னினால் திரணையை உண்டாக்கி,

11. You shall overlay the ark with pure gold, inside and out, and make a gold crown, a rim or border, around its top.

12. அதற்கு நாலு பொன் வளையங்களை வார்ப்பித்து, அவைகளை அதின் நாலு மூலைகளிலும் போட்டு, ஒரு பக்கத்தில் இரண்டு வளையங்களும், மறுபக்கத்தில் இரண்டு வளையங்களும் இருக்கும்படி தைத்து,

12. You shall cast four gold rings and attach them to the four lower corners of it, two rings on either side.

13. சீத்திம் மரத்தால் தண்டுகளைச் செய்து, அவைகளைப் பொன்தகட்டால் மூடி,

13. You shall make poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold,

14. அந்தத் தண்டுகளால் பெட்டியைச் சுமக்கும்படி, அவைகளைப் பெட்டியின் பக்கங்களிலிருக்கும் வளையங்களிலே பாய்ச்சக்கடவாய்.

14. And put the poles through the rings on the ark's sides, by which to carry it.

15. அந்தத் தண்டுகள் பெட்டியிலிருந்து கழற்றப்படாமல், அதின் வளையங்களிலே இருக்கவேண்டும்.

15. The poles shall remain in the rings of the ark; they shall not be removed from it [that the ark be not touched].

16. நான் உனக்குக் கொடுக்கும் சாட்சிப்பிரமாணத்தை அந்தப்பெட்டியிலே வைப்பாயாக.

16. And you shall put inside the ark the Testimony [the Ten Commandments] which I will give you.

17. பசும்பொன்னினாலே கிருபாசனத்தைப்பண்ணுவாயாக; அது இரண்டரை முழ நீளமும் ஒன்றரை முழ அகலமுமாய் இருக்கக்கடவது.

17. And you shall make a mercy seat (a covering) of pure gold, two cubits and a half long and a cubit and a half wide.

18. பொன்னினால் இரண்டு கேருபீன்களைச் செய்வாயாக; பொன்னைத் தகடாய் அடித்து, அவைகளைச் செய்து, கிருபாசனத்தின் இரண்டு ஓரங்களிலும் வைப்பாயாக.

18. And you shall make two cherubim (winged angelic figures) of [solid] hammered gold on the two ends of the mercy seat.

19. ஒருபுறத்து ஓரத்தில் ஒரு கேருபீனையும் மறுபுறத்து ஓரத்தில் மற்றக் கேருபீனையும் பண்ணிவை; அந்தக் கேருபீன்கள் கிருபாசனத்தின் இரண்டு ஓரங்களிலும் அதனோடே ஏகவேலையாயிருக்கும்படி, அவைகளைப் பண்ணக்கடவாய்.

19. Make one cherub on each end, making the cherubim of one piece with the mercy seat, on the two ends of it.

20. அந்தக் கேருபீன்கள் தங்கள் செட்டைகளை உயர விரித்து, தங்கள் செட்டைகளால் கிருபாசனத்தை மூடுகிறவைகளும் ஒன்றுக்கொன்று எதிர்முகமுள்ளவைகளுமாய் இருக்கக்கடவது; கேருபீன்களின் முகங்கள் கிருபாசனத்தை நோக்குகிறவைகளாயிருப்பதாக.

20. And the cherubim shall spread out their wings above, covering the mercy seat with their wings, facing each other and looking down toward the mercy seat.

21. கிருபாசனத்தை பெட்டியின்மீதில் வைத்து, பெட்டிக்குள்ளே நான் உனக்குக் கொடுக்கும் சாட்சிப்பிரமாணத்தை வைப்பாயாக.

21. You shall put the mercy seat on the top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the Testimony [the Ten Commandments] that I will give you.

22. அங்கே நான் உன்னைச் சந்திப்பேன்; கிருபாசனத்தின்மீதிலும் சாட்சிப்பெட்டியின்மேல் நிற்கும் இரண்டு கேருபீன்களின் நடுவிலும் இருந்து நான் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்காக உனக்குக் கற்பிக்கப் போகிறவைகளையெல்லாம் உன்னோடே சொல்லுவேன்.

22. There I will meet with you and, from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim that are upon the ark of the Testimony, I will speak intimately with you of all which I will give you in commandment to the Israelites.

23. சீத்திம் மரத்தால் ஒரு மேஜையையும் பண்ணுவாயாக; அது இரண்டு முழ நீளமும் ஒரு முழ அகலமும் ஒன்றரை முழ உயரமுமாய் இருக்கக்கடவது.

23. Also, make a table of acacia wood, two cubits long, one cubit wide, and a cubit and a half high [for the showbread].

24. அதைப் பசும்பொன் தகட்டால் மூடி, சுற்றிலும் அதற்குப் பொன்னினால் திரணையை உண்டாக்கி,

24. You shall overlay it with pure gold and make a crown, a rim or molding, of gold around the top of it;

25. சுற்றிலும் அதற்கு நாலு விரற்கடையான சட்டத்தையும், அதின் சட்டத்திற்குச் சுற்றிலும் பொன்னினால் திரணையையும் உண்டாக்கி,

25. And make a frame of a handbreadth around and below the top of it and put around it a gold molding as a border.

26. அதற்கு நாலு பொன்வளையங்களைப் பண்ணி, அவைகளை அதின் நாலு கால்களுக்கு இருக்கும் நாலு மூலைகளிலும் தைக்கக்கடவாய்.

26. You shall make for it four rings of gold and fasten them at the four corners that are on the table's four legs.

27. அந்த வளையங்கள் மேஜையைச் சுமக்கும் தண்டுகளுக்கு இடங்களாயிருக்கும்படி, சட்டத்தின் அருகே இருக்கவேண்டும்.

27. Close against the frame shall the rings be as places for the poles to pass to carry the table [of showbread].

28. அந்தத் தண்டுகளைச் சீத்திம் மரத்தினால் செய்து, அவைகளைப் பொன்தகட்டால் மூடக்கடவாய்; அவைகளால் மேஜை சுமக்கப்படவேண்டும்.

28. You shall make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold, that the table may be carried with them.

29. அதற்குரிய தட்டுகளையும், தூபக்கரண்டிகளையும், கிண்ணங்களையும், பானபலி கரகங்களையும் பண்ணக்கடவாய்; அவைகளைப் பசும்பொன்னினால் பண்ணக்கடவாய்.

29. And you shall make its plates [for showbread] and cups [for incense], and its flagons and bowls [for liquids in sacrifice]; make them of pure gold.

30. மேஜையின்மேல் நித்தமும் என் சந்நிதியில் சமுகத்தப்பங்களை வைக்கக்கடவாய்.

30. And you shall set the showbread (the bread of the Presence) on the table before Me always. [John 6:58.]

31. பசும்பொன்னினால் ஒரு குத்துவிளக்கையும் உண்டாக்குவாயாக; அது பொன்னினால் அடிப்புவேலையாய்ச் செய்யப்படவேண்டும்; அதின் தண்டும் கிளைகளும் மொக்குகளும் பழங்களும் பூக்களும் பொன்னினால் செய்யப்படவேண்டும்.

31. You shall make a lampstand of pure gold. Of beaten and turned work shall the lampstand be made, both its base and its shaft; its cups, its knobs, and its flowers shall be of one piece with it.

32. ஆறு கிளைகள் அதின் பக்கங்களில் விடவேண்டும்; குத்துவிளக்கின் மூன்றுகிளைகள் அதின் ஒரு பக்கத்திலும், குத்துவிளக்கின் மூன்று கிளைகள் அதின் மறுபக்கத்திலும் விடவேண்டும்.

32. Six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the lampstand out of the one side and three branches out of its other side;

33. ஒவ்வொரு கிளையிலே வாதுமைக்கொட்டைக்கு ஒப்பான மூன்று மொக்குகளும், ஒரு பழமும், ஒரு பூவும் இருப்பதாக; குத்துவிளக்கிலிருந்து புறப்படும் ஆறு கிளைகளிலும் அப்படியே இருக்கவேண்டும்.

33. Three cups made like almond blossoms, each with a knob and a flower on one branch, and three cups made like almond blossoms on the other branch with a knob and a flower; so for the six branches coming out of the lampstand;

34. விளக்குத்தண்டிலோ, வாதுமைக் கொட்டைக்கு ஒப்பான நாலு மொக்குகளும், பழங்களும், பூக்களும் இருப்பதாக.

34. And on the [center shaft] itself you shall [make] four cups like almond blossoms with their knobs and their flowers.

35. அதிலிருந்து புறப்படும் இரண்டு கிளைகளின்கீழ் ஒரு பழமும், வேறு இரண்டு கிளைகளின்கீழ் ஒரு பழமும், மற்ற இரண்டு கிளைகளின்கீழ் ஒரு பழமும் இருப்பதாக; விளக்குத்தண்டிலிருந்து புறப்படும் ஆறு கிளைகளுக்கும் அப்படியே இருக்கவேண்டும்.

35. Also make a knob [on the shaft] under each pair of the six branches going out from the lampstand and one piece with it;

36. அவைகளின் பழங்களும் அவைகளின் கிளைகளும் பொன்னினால் உண்டானவைகளாயிருப்பதாக; அவையெல்லாம் தகடாய் அடித்த பசும்பொன்னால் செய்யப்பட்ட ஒரே வேலையாயிருக்கவேண்டும்.

36. Their knobs and their branches shall be of one piece with it; the whole of it one beaten work of pure gold.

37. அதில் ஏழு அகல்களைச் செய்வாயாக; அதற்கு நேரெதிராய் எரியும்படிக்கு அவைகள் ஏற்றப்படக்கடவது.

37. And you shall make the lamps of the [lampstand] to include a seventh one [at the top of the shaft]. [The priests] shall set up the [seven] lamps of it so they may give light in front of it.

38. அதின் கத்தரிகளும் சாம்பல் பாத்திரங்களும் பசும்பொன்னினால் செய்யப்படுவதாக.

38. Its snuffers and its ashtrays shall be of pure gold.

39. அதையும், அதற்குரிய பணிமுட்டுகள் யாவையும் ஒரு தாலந்து பசும்பொன்னினால் பண்ணவேண்டும்.

39. Use a talent of pure gold for it, including all these utensils.

40. மலையிலே உனக்குக் காண்பிக்கப்பட்ட மாதிரியின்படியே அவைகளைச் செய்ய எச்சரிக்கையாயிரு.

40. And see to it that you copy [exactly] their pattern which was shown you on the mountain. [Heb. 8:5, 6.]
