1. அப்பொழுது மோசேயும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரும் கர்த்தரைப் புகழ்ந்துபாடின பாட்டு: கர்த்தரைப் பாடுவேன்; அவர் மகிமையாய் வெற்றி சிறந்தார்; குதிரையையும் குதிரைவீரனையும் கடலிலே தள்ளினார்.
வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 15:3

1. Then Moses and the children of Israel made this song to the Lord, and said, I will make a song to the Lord, for he is lifted up in glory: the horse and the horseman he has sent down into the sea.

2. கர்த்தர் என் பெலனும் என் கீதமுமானவர்; அவர் எனக்கு இரட்சிப்புமானவர்; அவரே என் தேவன், அவருக்கு வாசஸ்தலத்தை ஆயத்தம்பண்ணுவேன்; அவரே என் தகப்பனுடைய தேவன், அவரை உயர்த்துவேன்;

2. The Lord is my strength and my strong helper, he has become my salvation: he is my God and I will give him praise; my father's God and I will give him glory.

3. கர்த்தரே யுத்தத்தில் வல்லவர்; கர்த்தர் என்பது அவருடைய நாமம்.

3. The Lord is a man of war: the Lord is his name.

4. பார்வோனின் இரதங்களையும் அவன் சேனைகளையும் சமுத்திரத்திலே தள்ளிவிட்டார்; அவனுடைய பிரதான அதிபதிகள் சிவந்த சமுத்திரத்தில் அமிழ்ந்துபோனார்கள்.

4. Pharaoh's war-carriages and his army he has sent down into the sea: the best of his captains have gone down into the Red Sea.

5. ஆழி அவர்களை மூடிக்கொண்டது; கல்லைப்போல ஆழங்களில் அமிழ்ந்துபோனார்கள்.

5. They were covered by the deep waters: like a stone they went down under the waves.

6. கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய வலதுகரம் பலத்தினால் மகத்துவம் சிறந்திருக்கிறது; கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய வலதுகரம் பகைஞனை நொறுக்கிவிட்டது.

6. Full of glory, O Lord, is the power of your right hand; by your right hand those who came against you are broken.

7. உமக்கு விரோதமாய் எழும்பினவர்களை உமது முக்கியத்தின் மகத்துவத்தினாலே நிர்மூலமாக்கினீர்; உம்முடைய கோபாக்கினியை அனுப்பினீர், அது அவர்களைத் தாளடியைப்போலப் பட்சித்தது.

7. When you are lifted up in power, all those who come against you are crushed: when you send out your wrath, they are burned up like dry grass.

8. உமது நாசியின் சுவாசத்தினால் ஜலம் குவிந்து நின்றது; வெள்ளம் குவியலாக நிமிர்ந்து நின்றது; ஆழமான ஜலம் நடுக்கடலிலே உறைந்துபோயிற்று.

8. By your breath the waves were massed together, the flowing waters were lifted up like a pillar; the deep waters became solid in the heart of the sea.

9. தொடருவேன், பிடிப்பேன், கொள்ளையாடிப் பங்கிடுவேன், என் ஆசை அவர்களிடத்தில் திருப்தியாகும், என் பட்டயத்தை உருவுவேன், என் கை அவர்களைச் சங்கரிக்கும் என்று பகைஞன் சொன்னான்.

9. Egypt said, I will go after them, I will overtake, I will make division of their goods: my desire will have its way with them; my sword will be uncovered, my hand will send destruction on them.

10. உம்முடைய காற்றை வீசப்பண்ணினீர், கடல் அவர்களை மூடிக்கொண்டது; திரளான தண்ணீர்களில் ஈயம்போல அமிழ்ந்துபோனார்கள்.

10. You sent your wind and the sea came over them: they went down like lead into the great waters.

11. கர்த்தாவே, தேவர்களில் உமக்கு ஒப்பானவர் யார்? பரிசுத்தத்தில் மகத்துவமுள்ளவரும், துதிகளில் பயப்படத்தக்கவரும், அற்புதங்களைச் செய்கிறவருமாகிய உமக்கு ஒப்பானவர் யார்?

11. Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? who is like you, in holy glory, to be praised with fear, doing wonders?

12. நீர் உமது வலதுகரத்தை நீட்டினீர்; பூமி அவர்களை விழுங்கிப்போட்டது.

12. When your right hand was stretched out, the mouth of the earth was open for them.

13. நீர் மீட்டுக்கொண்ட இந்த ஜனங்களை உமது கிருபையினாலே அழைத்து வந்தீர்; உம்முடைய பரிசுத்த வாசஸ்தலத்துக்கு நேராக அவர்களை உமது பலத்தினால் வழி நடத்தினீர்.

13. In your mercy you went before the people whom you have made yours; guiding them in your strength to your holy place.

14. ஜனங்கள் அதைக் கேட்டுத் தத்தளிப்பார்கள்; பெலிஸ்தியாவின் குடிகளைத் திகில் பிடிக்கும்.

14. Hearing of you the peoples were shaking in fear: the people of Philistia were gripped with pain.

15. ஏதோமின் பிரபுக்கள் கலங்குவார்கள்; மோவாபின் பராக்கிரமசாலிகளை நடுக்கம் பிடிக்கும்; கானானின் குடிகள் யாவரும் கரைந்துபோவார்கள்.

15. The chiefs of Edom were troubled in heart; the strong men of Moab were in the grip of fear: all the people of Canaan became like water.

16. பயமும் திகிலும் அவர்கள்மேல் விழும். கர்த்தாவே, உமது ஜனங்கள் கடந்துபோகும்வரையும், நீர் மீட்ட ஜனங்களே கடந்துபோகும்வரையும், அவர்கள் உம்முடைய புயத்தின் மகத்துவத்தினால் கல்லைப்போல அசைவற்றிருப்பார்கள்.

16. Fear and grief came on them; by the strength of your arm they were turned to stone; till your people went over, O Lord, till the people went over whom you have made yours.

17. நீர் அவர்களைக் கொண்டுபோய், கர்த்தராகிய தேவரீர் வாசம்பண்ணுகிறதற்கு நியமித்த ஸ்தானமாகிய உம்முடைய சுதந்தரத்தின் பர்வதத்திலும், ஆண்டவராகிய தேவரீருடைய கரங்கள் ஸ்தாபித்த பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திலும் அவர்களை நாட்டுவீர்.

17. You will take them in, planting them in the mountain of your heritage, the place, O Lord, where you have made your house, the holy place, O Lord, the building of your hands.

18. கர்த்தர் சதாகாலங்களாகிய என்றென்றைக்கும் ராஜரிகம்பண்ணுவார்.

18. The Lord is King for ever and ever.

19. பார்வோனின் குதிரைகள் அவனுடைய இரதங்களோடும் குதிரைவீரரோடும் சமுத்திரத்தில் பிரவேசித்தது; கர்த்தர் சமுத்திரத்தின் ஜலத்தை அவர்கள்மேல் திரும்பப்பண்ணினார்; இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோ சமுத்திரத்தின் நடுவே வெட்டாந்தரையிலே நடந்துபோனார்கள் என்று பாடினார்கள்.

19. For the horses of Pharaoh, with his war-carriages and his horsemen, went into the sea, and the Lord sent the waters of the sea back over them; but the children of Israel went through the sea on dry land.

20. ஆரோனின் சகோதரியாகிய மிரியாம் என்னும் தீர்க்கதரிசியானவளும் தன் கையிலே தம்புரை எடுத்துக்கொண்டாள்; சகல ஸ்திரீகளும் தம்புருகளோடும் நடனத்தோடும் அவளுக்குப் பின்னே புறப்பட்டுப்போனார்கள்.

20. And Miriam, the woman prophet, the sister of Aaron, took an instrument of music in her hand; and all the women went after her with music and dances.

21. மிரியாம் அவர்களுக்குப் பிரதிவசனமாக: கர்த்தரைப் பாடுங்கள், அவர் மகிமையாய் வெற்றிசிறந்தார்; குதிரையையும் குதிரைவீரனையும் கடலிலே தள்ளினார் என்று பாடினாள்.

21. And Miriam, answering, said, Make a song to the Lord, for he is lifted up in glory; the horse and the horseman he has sent into the sea.

22. பின்பு மோசே இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்களைச் சிவந்த சமுத்திரத்திலிருந்து பிரயாணப்படுத்தினான். அவர்கள் சூர்வனாந்தரத்துக்குப் புறப்பட்டுப்போய், மூன்று நாள் வனாந்தரத்தில் தண்ணீர் கிடையாமல் நடந்தார்கள்.

22. Then Moses took Israel forward from the Red Sea, and they went out into the waste land of Shur; and for three days they were in the waste land where there was no water.

23. அவர்கள் மாராவிலே வந்தபோது, மாராவின் தண்ணீர் கசப்பாயிருந்ததினால் அதைக் குடிக்க அவர்களுக்குக் கூடாதிருந்தது; அதினால் அவ்விடத்துக்கு மாரா என்று பேரிடப்பட்டது.

23. And when they came to Marah, the water was no good for drinking, for the waters of Marah were bitter, which is why it was named Marah.

24. அப்பொழுது ஜனங்கள் மோசேக்கு விரோதமாய் முறுமுறுத்து: என்னத்தைக் குடிப்போம் என்றார்கள்.

24. And the people, crying out against Moses, said, What are we to have for drink?

25. மோசே கர்த்தரை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டான்; அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் மோசேக்கு ஒரு மரத்தைக் காண்பித்தார்; அதை அவன் தண்ணீரில் போட்டவுடனே, அது மதுரமான தண்ணீராயிற்று. அவர் அங்கே அவர்களுக்கு ஒரு நியமத்தையும், ஒரு நியாயத்தையும் கட்டளையிட்டு, அங்கே அவர்களைச் சோதித்து:

25. And in answer to his prayer, the Lord made him see a tree, and when he put it into the water, the water was made sweet. There he gave them a law and an order, testing them;

26. நீ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் சத்தத்தைக் கவனமாய்க் கேட்டு, அவர் பார்வைக்குச் செம்மையானவைகளைச் செய்து, அவர் கட்டளைகளுக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, அவருடைய நியமங்கள் யாவையும் கைக்கொண்டால், நான் எகிப்தியருக்கு வரப்பண்ணின வியாதிகளில் ஒன்றையும் உனக்கு வரப்பண்ணேன்; நானே உன் பரிகாரியாகிய கர்த்தர் என்றார்.

26. And he said, If with all your heart you will give attention to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in his eyes, giving ear to his orders and keeping his laws, I will not put on you any of the diseases which I put on the Egyptians: for I am the Lord your life-giver.

27. பின்பு அவர்கள் ஏலிமுக்கு வந்தார்கள்; அங்கே பன்னிரண்டு நீரூற்றுகளும் எழுபது பேரீச்சமரங்களும் இருந்தது; அங்கே தண்ணீர் அருகே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.

27. And they came to Elim where there were twelve water-springs and seventy palm-trees: and they put up their tents there by the waters.
