1. தேவனே, ராஜாவுக்கு உம்முடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளையும், ராஜாவின் குமாரனுக்கு உம்முடைய நீதியையும் கொடுத்தருளும்.

1. Of Solomon Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.

2. அவர் உம்முடைய ஜனங்களை நீதியோடும், உம்முடைய ஏழைகளை நியாயத்தோடும் விசாரிப்பார்.

2. That he may govern thy people according to right, and defend thy poor.

3. பர்வதங்கள் ஜனத்திற்குச் சமாதானத்தைத் தரும், மேடுகள் நீதியின் விளைவோடிருக்கும்.

3. That the mountains may bring peace, and the little hills righteousness unto the people.

4. ஜனத்தில் சிறுமைப்படுகிறவர்களை அவர் நியாயம் விசாரித்து, ஏழையின் பிள்ளைகளை இரட்சித்து, இடுக்கண் செய்கிறவனை நொறுக்குவார்.

4. He shall keep the simple folk by their right, defend the children of the poor, and punish the wrongous doer.

5. சூரியனும் சந்திரனுமுள்ளமட்டும், அவர்கள் உமக்குத் தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாகப் பயந்திருப்பார்கள்.

5. Thou shalt be feared as long as the sun and moon endureth, from one generation to another.

6. புல்லறுப்புண்ட வெளியின்மேல் பெய்யும் மழையைப்போலவும், பூமியை நனைக்கும் தூறலைப்போலவும் இறங்குவார்.

6. He shall come down like the rain in to a fleece of wool, and like the drops that water the earth.

7. அவருடைய நாட்களில் நீதிமான் செழிப்பான்; சந்திரனுள்ளவரைக்கும் மிகுந்த சமாதானம் இருக்கும்.

7. In his time shall righteousness flourish, yea and abundance of peace, so long as the moon endureth.

8. ஒரு சமுத்திரந்தொடங்கி மறுசமுத்திரம்வரைக்கும், நதிதொடங்கி பூமியின் எல்லைகள்வரைக்கும் அவர் அரசாளுவார்.

8. His dominion shall be from the one sea to the other, and from the flood unto the worlds end.

9. வனாந்தரத்தார் அவருக்கு முன்பாகக் குனிந்து வணங்குவார்கள்; அவருடைய சத்துருக்கள் மண்ணை நக்குவார்கள்.

9. They that dwell in the wilderness shall kneel before him, and his enemies shall lick the dust.

10. தர்ஷீசின் ராஜாக்களும் தீவுகளின் ராஜாக்களும் காணிக்கைகளைக் கொண்டுவருவார்கள்; ஷேபாவிலும் சேபாவிலுமுள்ள ராஜாக்கள் வெகுமானங்களைக் கொண்டுவருவார்கள்.

10. The kings of the sea and of the isles shall bring presents, the kings of Araby and Saba shall offer gifts.

11. All kings shall worship him, all Heathen shall do him service.

12. கூப்பிடுகிற எளியவனையும், உதவியற்ற சிறுமையானவனையும் அவர் விடுவிப்பார்.

12. For he shall deliver the poor when he crieth, and the needy that hath no help.

13. பலவீனனுக்கும் எளியவனுக்கும் அவர் இரங்கி, எளியவர்களின் ஆத்துமாக்களை இரட்சிப்பார்.

13. He shall be favorable to the simple and poor, he shall preserve the souls of such as be in adversity.

14. அவர்கள் ஆத்துமாக்களை வஞ்சகத்திற்கும் கொடுமைக்கும் தப்புவிப்பார்; அவர்களுடைய இரத்தம் அவருடைய பார்வைக்கு அருமையாயிருக்கும்.

14. He shall deliver their souls from extortion and wrong, and dear shall their blood be in his sight.

15. அவர் பிழைத்திருப்பார், ஷேபாவின் பொன் அவருக்குக் கொடுக்கப்படும்; அவர்நிமித்தம் இடைவிடாமல் ஜெபம்பண்ணப்படும், எந்நாளும் ஸ்தோத்திரிக்கப்படுவார்.

15. He shall live, and unto him shall be given of the gold of Arabia: prayer shall be made ever unto him, and daily shall he be praised.

16. பூமியிலே மலைகளின் உச்சிகளில் ஒரு பிடி தானியம் விதைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும்; அதின் விளைவு லீபனோனைப்போல அசையும்; பூமியின் புல்லைப்போல நகரத்தார் செழித்தோங்குவார்கள்.

16. There shall be an heap of corn in the earth high upon the hills, his fruit shall shake like Libanus, and shall be green in the city, like grass upon the earth.

17. அவருடைய நாமம் என்றென்றைக்கும் இருக்கும்; சூரியனுள்ளமட்டும் அவருடைய நாமம் சந்தான பரம்பரையாய் நிலைக்கும்; மனுஷர் அவருக்குள் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்படுவார்கள், எல்லா ஜாதிகளும் அவரைப் பாக்கியமுடையவர் என்று வாழ்த்துவார்கள்.

17. His name shall endure forever, his name shall remain under the sun among the posterities, which shall be blessed thorow him, and all the Heathen shall praise him.

18. இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாயிருக்கிற கர்த்தராகிய தேவனுக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரமுண்டாவதாக; அவரே அதிசயங்களைச் செய்கிறவர்.

18. Blessed be the LORD God, even the God of Israel, which only doth wonderous things.

19. அவருடைய மகிமைபொருந்திய நாமத்துக்கு என்றென்றைக்கும் ஸ்தோத்திரமுண்டாவதாக; பூமிமுழுவதும் அவருடைய மகிமையால் நிறைந்திருப்பதாக. ஆமென், ஆமென்.

19. And blessed be the name of his majesty forever, and all the lands be fulfilled with his glory. Amen, Amen.
