1. கர்த்தரை நான் எக்காலத்திலும் ஸ்தோத்திரிப்பேன்; அவர் துதி எப்போதும் என் வாயிலிருக்கும்.

1. I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

2. கர்த்தருக்குள் என் ஆத்துமா மேன்மைபாராட்டும்; சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்கள் அதைக்கேட்டு மகிழுவார்கள்.

2. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the meek shall hear thereof, and be glad.

3. என்னோடே கூடக் கர்த்தரை மகிமைப்படுத்துங்கள்; நாம் ஒருமித்து அவர் நாமத்தை உயர்த்துவோமாக.

3. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.

4. I sought the LORD, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.

5. They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces shall never be confounded.

9. O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

10. சிங்கக்குட்டிகள் தாழ்ச்சியடைந்து பட்டினியாயிருக்கும்; கர்த்தரைத் தேடுகிறவர்களுக்கோ ஒரு நன்மையுங்குறைவுபடாது.

10. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.

11. பிள்ளைகளே, வந்து எனக்குச் செவிகொடுங்கள்; கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதலை உங்களுக்குப் போதிப்பேன்.

11. Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

12. நன்மையைக் காணும்படி, ஜீவனை விரும்பி, நீடித்த நாட்களை அபேட்சிக்கிற மனுஷன் யார்?

12. What man is he that desireth life, and loveth {cf15i many} days, that he may see good?

15. The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous, and his ears are {cf15i open} unto their cry.

16. தீமைசெய்கிறவர்களுடைய பேரைப் பூமியில் இராமல் அற்றுப்போகப்பண்ண, கர்த்தருடைய முகம் அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாயிருக்கிறது.

16. The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

17. நீதிமான்கள் கூப்பிடும்போது கர்த்தர் கேட்டு, அவர்களை அவர்களுடைய எல்லா உபத்திரவங்களுக்கும் நீங்கலாக்கிவிடுகிறார்.

17. {cf15i The righteous} cried, and the LORD heard, and delivered them out of all their troubles.

18. நொறுங்குண்ட இருதயமுள்ளவர்களுக்குக் கர்த்தர் சமீபமாயிருந்து, நருங்குண்ட ஆவியுள்ளவர்களை இரட்சிக்கிறார்.

18. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart, and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

19. நீதிமானுக்கு வரும் துன்பங்கள் அநேகமாயிருக்கும், கர்த்தர் அவைகளெல்லாவற்றிலும் நின்று அவனை விடுவிப்பார்.

19. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

20. அவனுடைய எலும்புகளையெல்லாம் காப்பாற்றுகிறார்; அவைகளில் ஒன்றும் முறிக்கப்படுவதில்லை.

20. He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

21. தீமை துன்மார்க்கனைக் கொல்லும்; நீதிமானைப் பகைக்கிறவர்கள் குற்றவாளிகளாவார்கள்.

21. Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be condemned.

22. கர்த்தர் தமது ஊழியக்காரரின் ஆத்துமாவை மீட்டுக்கொள்ளுகிறார்; அவரை நம்புகிற ஒருவன்மேலும் குற்றஞ்சுமராது.

22. The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be condemned.
